Roy groaned as he felt the ears on his head. Large, floppy dog ears. Couldn’t he at least have had pointy dog ears?
Ed’s chuckles turned to full-blown laughter as Roy noticed his overly fluffy tail. Mizu’s face was carefully blank, though it was blatantly obvious that she was trying to keep herself from laughing and Eric was just crying with laughter, his tail thumping loudly whenever it hit the floor.
Mizu coughed into her hand to get everyone’s attention. When she had it, she began talking. "Well, now that Roy has apparently realized his current status," Eric and Ed began chuckling again and Roy’s tail twitched, "I guess I should tell you some things about this chimerical fusing.
"As you well know, a chimera is a being or creature that is two or more people/animals alchemically fused. Under this explanation you would think it to be easy to just detransmute yourself.
"But no. This is a chimerical fusion of some the highest levels. Only he who did it can reverse it," Mizu said, looking at the faces of Roy and Ed.
Even as a cat, Ed looked surprised and Roy was trying his damndest not to let his mask down. Mizu grinned.
"I assume you’ll need an excuse as to why you will not be able to come to work," Mizu said. "I’ll do your work for you."
Roy’s eyes actually widened. "And you couldn’t have done this before?"
"Because you weren’t sick kid," Mizu replied lightly. "Well, Flam-chan’s waiting for me, so, see ya," She said, opening the door and leaving.
"Well," Roy said, tail and eye twitching, "That wasn’t very informative," Eric chuckled.
"Never will be," Eric replied, yawning, "Well, guess you guys need a ride home, don’t ya?" He asked. Ed yawned, looking up at Roy.
"Yes," Roy replied, leaning down to pick up Ed, who by this point was nearly asleep. Havoc usually was the one who drove Roy home, but seeing as he was the first person to leave, that was out of the picture.
It was snowing lightly outside by the time that Roy, who was now carrying the sleeping Edward, had gotten into Eric’s car.
Eric shivered as he started the car up, turning the heater on full-blast. Pulling the car out of its parking spot, he smiled at the sleeping Ed before talking.
"Mustang-taisa," He said quietly, getting Roy’s attention. "One can’t hide their feelings for too long," Roy raised his eyebrow.
"And why would that be?" Roy asked, turning to look out the window. Eric sighed.
"Because, it can just come out at times if you hold it in for too long," he replied, shrugging. Roy didn’t respond, but Eric knew he was thinking.
The snow had started to come down at a far quicker pace as Eric pulled into Roy’s house.
The house wasn’t too large by normal standards, but it was the largest house on that particular cauldesac. "Well, we’re here," Eric said, leaning back, looking out his window.
Roy nudged Ed a bit. Ed didn’t respond. "Get up Fullmetal," Ed still didn’t budge. Eric chuckled.
"Mustang-taisa, he’s gonna be out for a few hours," Eric said, seeing just how heavy the snowfall was, "Er, d’ya mind if a stay at your house tonight? I don’t want to get snowed into my car."
"Sure, the guest room is in the basement," Roy replied, opening the car door and getting out, Ed in his arms.
Punching in a number on a lock-box, Roy pulled the key out and unlocked his door. Eric couldn’t help but point something out.
"76933?" He asked, blinking. "I know those numbers can stand for a number of things, but can’t they stand for Royed too?" Roy’s tail twitched, telling Eric he had hit the nail on the head.
"I’d rather not talk about it," Roy replied stiffly, putting the key back into the box as he opened the door. Eric shrugged and entered the house, shaking the snow of his body much like a dog would. "Hey! Do that somewhere else!" Roy yelled, getting pelted by the snow. Eric grinned guiltily.
Ed stirred slightly, shifting in Roy’s arms. Roy sighed, slipping out of his boots. A loud, growling sound was then heard and Eric clutched his stomach.
"First door on your left Country," Roy said, leaving for his bedroom, Ed still in his arms, so that he could get some sleep.
Eric smirked as Roy left the room and pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket. "Heheheh, Mustang-taisa, you’ll thank me for this," He said aloud, before adding, "That is considering you don’t kill me first."
Sweatdropping, he quickly scribbled something on the piece of paper, darting off to the kitchen so he could tape it onto the fridge. Oh yes, Eric loved being an annoying little wolf.

Fear Eric and wolfy, wolfness. Yeah, that sounded pathetic, didn’t it? Please review.
