"Lieutenant Hawkeye!" Hawkeye put her pen down and looked at the brown haired man. He was panting, hands on his knees, a piece of paper clenched tightly in his hand.
Hawkeye sighed. "What is it Sergeant Goodman?" The man looked up briefly, placing the piece of paper down on Hawkeye's desk. She looked down at it. A sighting list for the Country Alchemist, Leon Gene.
"We've concluded that he's in a small town called Drandy out on the Eastern Border." Goodman panted. "There have been many chimera sightings around there in the past months," Hawkeye's eyes scanned the report as he talked; taking in the information he was giving her. "Due to the Flame Alchemist's ties to that particular town, the General has requested that he go out to investigate these rumors," Hawkeye's shot up as she gazed at the soldier.
"Colonel Mustang is currently out on a sick leave," She replied smoothly. The man tensed as Hawkeye's hand inched, unknown to most eyes, towards her gun.
"Lieutenant, the General's exact words were, 'I don't care if he's dieing of some currently unknown illness, but Roy Mustang will go and investigate Drandy!'" Goodman replied, relaxing when Hawkeye’s hand stopped traveling towards her gun.
"Understood. I will call the Colonel and tell him. You are dismissed," Goodman saluted and then left the room, leaving Hawkeye to call Roy. Sighing, she picked up the phone and dialed the Colonel's phone number.

Eric waved tail back and forth slowly as he watched Ed holding the sleeping, now dog, Roy. Eric knew love was blind, but this was just getting ridiculous. He knew Roy admitted that he had feelings for Ed, but, Ed wouldn't even admit it to his brother, much less himself. Eric just wanted to take the two, throw them into a dark closet and leave them be until they admitted they had feelings for each other. And Eric would kill them if they way to mushy gushy.
It was then that the phone rang; it's shrill, high pitch piercing even the walls. Eric yelped, putting his paws over his ears as Ed set Roy down and went to pick up the phone. The shrill ringing came to a halt.
"Mustang residence," Ed's eyes widened slightly as he heard Hawkeye's voice. "No, he's sleeping. . . No, not even miniskirts could get him up. . ." Ed held the phone, silence ringing through his ears. Collecting his thoughts, he replied. "Yes, I'll tell him. . . See you." Eric looked up as Ed set the phone down, hands trembling slightly.
Eric padded up to the alchemist and nudged him in the side. Ed looked down and put his hand on Eric's head, scratching him behind the ears.
"Do you know how I can wake Mustang up?" Eric shook his head. Ed looked around the kitchen, quickly noticing a rack of sharp knives. Grinning, Ed pulled ten knives off the rack and headed to the room in which Roy was sleeping.
Eric had long since disappeared upstairs by the point that Ed had placed nine of the knives down on the table and poked Roy with the other one. Roy shifted slightly and kept sleeping. Ed smirked as he grabbed the other knives and walked tot he other side of the room.
"Oi! Mustang!" He called, placing the nine down and positioning the other to be thrown. "If you don't get up, I'm gonna throw this knife at you!" Roy still didn't wake up, only turning his back to Ed. "Your choice," And the knife went whizzing through the air, implanting itself all the way to its hilt in the sofa right next to Roy's head. Roy didn't respond, apparently use to things whizzing by his head and not hitting him.
Ed shrugged and threw another knife. This one whizzed by Roy's head and implanted itself in the couch in front of Roy's face. When Roy only slightly responded, Ed gave way to his want to annoy the Colonel and threw the remaining eight knives at Roy, forming a rough outline of how he looked.
Roy yawned, opening his eyes and looking at Ed. Ed was grinning. Roy looked down and saw the hilt of a knife and yelped, scrambling off of the couch. Ed laughed as he headed to the couch to remove the knives.

Roy panted as he jumped onto his bed, glad to be away from Ed. Eric grinned.
“So, Colonel, what’s it feel like to be a dog?” The wolf remarked, putting his head on the bed. Roy glared at Eric.
“I should be asking you that, Sir My Species Evolved into the Dog,” He bit back, turning to face away from the wolf.
Eric snorted. “Guess ya don’t want to be Part human again, eh?” Roy’s ear perked up as he slowly turned to face Eric.
“And you felt the need to withhold this information, because?” Roy asked, folding his paws and putting his head down on them. Eric gave his best attempt at a shrug and replied.
“I was bored. Just wanted to see how you’d react to knives in the couch,” Roy sighed.
“Okay then. How do I do it?”
“Count backwards from five.”
Roy’s ear twitched but he did it regardless. And in a small pop, Roy returned to his almost human state. But unfortunately, he also found himself lying on the bed in almost the exact same position as when he was a dog. Eric grinned, and in a pop was back to normal as well. Roy got up and dusted himself off before leaving the room. Eric shrugged and jumped on Roy’s bed so as to get some sleep.

“Fullmetal,” Roy said, entering the kitchen where Ed was putting away the knives. Ed turned to look at Roy, his braid whipping slightly.
He blinked. “Mustang? You’re normal?” He asked, setting the last knife in its place.
“Somewhat,” Roy responded, heading over to Ed. Taking the knife out from where Ed had put it, he placed it in the correct way. “May I ask why you felt so inclined as to throw my steak knives at me?”
Ed grinned guiltily. “I was trying to get you up, ya bastard,” Roy raised his eyebrow in amusement.
“And you felt inclined to nearly kill me in the process?” He asked, smirking as Ed fidgeted slightly.
“No. It’s just that Hawkeye called,” Ed replied, turning his vision from Roy’s.
“Why?”
“You’ve been assigned to a town called Drandy due to sightings there,” Ed responded. Roy noticed the worry in Ed’s eyes. “And you have to go,” The worry changed to determination quickly as Ed turned his gaze back to Roy. “I’m going with you and you can’t stop me. I want to get Leon for what he did to you and me,” Roy could tell Ed was serious; he hadn’t seen that much determination in Ed’s eyes since he had stopped searching for the stone.
“I was just going to ask you to join me Fullmetal,” Roy responded, his smirk turning into a grin. Ed blinked before returning the grin before turning out to look at the raging blizzard outside.
“Uh. . .”
Roy sighed. “We’ll just have to wait for the storm to subside.”
And wait they will. XD
