3. Policy of Truth
Â
Â
The sun was shining brightly all day long. The landscape was changing rather frequently so even Goku wasn't bored. And he definitely would be, `cause Gojyo wasn't paying any attention to his jokes and didn't even try to pick a fight. He looked like he had the worst hangover in the world. Half lying on his seat, face buried in tangled hair, he was sleeping or smoking silently. A couple of times Hakkai caught his eye in the side mirror, but that was all interaction he made.
Â
It's not like it was totally strange behavior for the crimson half-youkai after a hard night, but this time Hakkai knew the real reason better than anyone. And it wasn't easy for him. The physical pain he felt on certain part of his body wasn't the worst; he was used to it rather quickly and was able to sit straight without clenching his teeth every time the jeep jumped up on the road. The worst thing was the silence.
Â
For the first time during their friendship, Hakkai wasn't able to tell anything about Gojyo's feelings. Maybe it was because the redhead was constantly avoiding eye contact, or maybe - and that was more probable - it was because Hakkai was afraid of what he could see in those crimson eyes. Abomination. Disgust. Shame. Anger.
Â
Or rejection.
Â
Yes, that was his biggest fear. Rejection. He didn't want to lose Gojyo as a friend, but, moreover, he didn't want to be rejected as a possible lover. This thought was rather new to him but it wasn't unpleasant. He knew he could be with Gojyo the same way he was with Kanan. His feelings were probably already as deep as they had been that time and the fact that Gojyo was a man really didn't change them a bit. But on the other hand…
Â
`I'm not fuckin' queer!' Those words were heavy and painful, like an accusation. It was an accusation. Hakkai smiled to himself with little sad grimace. He really was the one to blame. Gojyo was drunk, frightened and lonely. He was just seeking comfort and, apparently, sex was the easiest way for him to find peace. Hakkai just shouldn't have taken this opportunity, he shouldn't have used his friend's weakness to fulfill his secret dreams. But he did. And now he had to pay for it.
Â
“Will we be able to reach next town before sunset?” Sanzo's question broke the silence.
Â
“Well, I don't think we'll be able to make it today at all,” Hakkai managed to put his usual smile on his face, though he felt like he's wearing a too tight rubber mask.
Â
“Good. So we can as well stop now for a while,” said Sanzo angrily. “'Cause I'd really appreciate a moment without you three. You're acting too weird today and it gives me creeps!”
Â
“This is not my fault,” said Goku. “And not his either,” he added hesitantly, as he looked at apparently sleeping Gojyo. “We were just quiet like you always wanted us to, and now you're telling that's not good?”
Â
“Oh, just shut up! Hakkai, stop that damn car!”
Â
They stopped at the edge of the forest, on the wide green meadow. Sanzo got out first, followed by suddenly happy Goku, who ran through high grass shouting that he could hear a stream so he would go and try to catch some fish. Gojyo (who apparently wasn't sleeping after all) also got out and went slowly towards the dark wall of the trees.
Â
“Ok, Hakuryuu, you can rest as well,” said Hakkai stepping on the road. He tried his best not to look at Gojyo's back, instead he paid all his attention to his dragon, which turned from the jeep form to its own, and was now waving its white bat-like wings right in front of Hakkai's face. “Kyu?” it chirped worriedly. “No Hakuryuu, everything is all right. We just needed to stretch ourselves a little,” answered Hakkai, smiling warmly to his pet. The dragon didn't look convinced, but it flew away without further asking.
Â
“It's great day for traveling, isn't it?” Hakkai asked, as he slowly approached Sanzo, who was standing on verdant grass and looking somewhere away.
Â
“Yeah, right,” the monk muttered angrily. “You should go and fix it.”
Â
“I beg you pardon?” Hakkai stopped few steps from him and blinked in surprise. “You and Gojyo. Go and fix it,” repeated the blond one.
Â
“I don't know what you are--”
Â
“Oh, stop playing dumb, Hakkai!” Sanzo turned his head and threw him angry glare. “I'm not blind for fuck sake. Gojyo has a bruised face and you were wincing with every move all morning. And you don't even look at each other. I don't know what happened between you two and I don't care, but your attitude is pissing me off. And believe me, you don't want me to be pissed. So, since you are the smart one, go and fix it right away!”
Â
Hakkai stopped smiling instantly. He just couldn't force his face to do such an uncomfortable act any more. “All right, you're the boss,” he said looking straight into angry violet eyes. “But I can't promise you anything. `Cause fixing this particular problem is probably beyond my reach.”
Â
***
Â
The sky was ridiculously blue and the air seemed to be crystal clear. Some birds were chirping happily from above, light cool breeze was gently messing with his hair - everything was just so fucking sweet and calming! Sanzo grumbled and sat hard on the grass. He just couldn't relax. Maybe everything was looking peacefully enough to deceive his companions, but not him. He knew. He felt it, somewhere under his skin. They all could call him paranoid, he didn't care. He was so fucking sure that somebody was watching them from afar. Not constantly, not every minute and every situation, but still. Somewhere there, there was another psycho, crouching in the shadow and waiting for them to put their guard down and expose themselves for sudden attack.
Â
And he even couldn't talk about it with Hakkai, the other one in this group who had something close to this so called `sixth sense'. He was always able to sense the danger long before anything happened and sometimes he actually could prevent it. Surprisingly, nobody ever called him paranoid. So if now Hakkai took his side, Sanzo was sure the rest would act more carefully without further asking. But this time Hakkai couldn't be his ally. Whatever had happened between him and the damn half-breed distracted him so much that he was hardly able to drive without causing a car crash. Just fucking great, thought Sanzo bitterly. So again I'm on my own. Oh, dear Gods, please, remind me why exactly you made me to take those useless bastards with me?
Â
“What are you thinking about?” Goku's voice startled him a little. Since when can this kid move without any noise? “Not your business,” the monk shot him angry glare. “So, where are your fishes?”
Â
“There are no fishes in this stream,” Goku sighed heavily. “Only frogs. I'm not sure if I want to eat a frog. One of them looked exactly like Gojyo.”
Â
“So probably it would taste like shit,” Sanzo couldn't help but to smile a little. “That's exactly what I thought,” the boy sat next to him and sighed again. “By the way, where is he? And where is Hakkai?”
Â
“In the forest. Talking over their businesses, I hope,” Sanzo shrugged a little. They should be back soon. It wasn't wise to let them go to begin with. They should stick together. But again, they really got on his nerves this time. “They really acted strange the whole day,” said Goku suddenly. “One could think they had a fight or something. But they never argue…”
Â
“Apparently they do sometimes,” Sanzo said, hoping it sounded like he didn't care. But the kid got the point. They never argued. At least not seriously enough to use physical arguments. Which Sanzo was sure they did. Gojyo's bruise and Hakkai's painful expression was telling him enough. And although he told himself he didn't care about the reason, he was just dying to know what was the problem that solving Hakkai defined as `beyond his reach'. What could make him so fucking pessimistic?
Â
“Let's hope they work it out somehow,” he mumbled, sighing as heavily as Goku did. “Or I would be forced to beat some sensibility into those stubborn asses by myself.”
Â
***
Â
He found Gojyo after few minutes. He was sitting on the log, one leg drawn close to his chest and, of course, he was smoking.
Â
“Mind if I join you for a moment?” asked Hakkai, as he approached the redhead. Gojyo only shrugged and took long deep drag from his cigarette. So brunette sat, or rather leaned against the log, aware of his tender state. He didn't feel like wincing in pain while talking to Gojyo about the other night.
Â
“I know that you would rather not talk to me right now,” started Hakkai, “but I'm afraid that we have to talk it over soon, otherwise Sanzo will change our trip into living hell.”
Â
“And I thought he already did,” answered Gojyo flatly. Hakkai allowed himself to chuckle a little, but the laugh soon died. The question he wanted to ask wasn't easy for him, and the answer could be even worse to bear.
Â
“Do you… hate me Gojyo?” he asked quietly. “Do you… loathe me?”
Â
“What?” half-youkai looked at him, obviously startled. “Do I loathe you? For fuck sake, Hakkai, don't start it all over again!”
Â
“I have to,” brunette lowered his gaze, “because, apparently you think that you have hurt me. Well, you haven't, but you're doing it now. And I have to know is it me you loathe… or is it yourself.”
Â
For a long moment Gojyo said nothing and Hakkai finally looked up, to check on his friend. The redhead was sitting there motionless, his arms wrapped firmly over his bended leg and his forehead rested heavily on his knee. “I don't know Hakkai,” he said finally. “I don't know what I should feel now. Hate? Loathing? Towards who, you or myself? I really don't know…”
Â
“There's no need for you to hate yourself. You didn't do me any harm. At least not more than you do to your usual one-night stands.”
Â
“Hakkai, you're not just some random slut, for fuck sake!” Gojyo snapped his head up and shot him angry glare. “You're my best friend! And you're…a man…” his voice trailed off as he lowered his head again.
Â
“So that's what it's all about?” Hakkai didn't feel any better as his admissions turned out to be truth. “I thought you may feel uncomfortable because of that.”
Â
“Uncomfortable?” said Gojyo bitterly. “Yesterday I was as straight as hell, and today… Well, I'm not even sure how I should call myself…”
Â
“I'm sorry, Gojyo,” Hakkai felt a big lump starting to grow in his throat. He swallowed painfully before he could say anything more. “It's all my fault. I knew it's going to end like this but I… I didn't even try to stop you. I could, but I didn't want to. It was so selfish… I'm sorry.”
Â
Gojyo left heavy sigh, just like he wanted him to stop saying that, but instead he just asked quietly: “Do you really think of me… that way?”
Â
Hakkai felt his heart is beginning to pound hard against his chest. So here it comes, he thought. Be strong. Be honest. Prepare to die. “Yes, I do,” he said.
Â
“Since when?”
Â
“I'm not sure,” Hakkai shrugged a little. “It's been a year at least.” Although for me it seems like forever, he thought.
Â
“Have you ever… done it before?” another quiet question came.
Â
“Well, sort of,” Hakkai started to feel more than uncomfortable. Be honest with him, he reminded himself as he forced further words through his mouth. “I have some experience, but… I've never done as much as with you.”
Â
“Then I'm sorry for ruining your first time,” said Gojyo with sudden smirk, which came across his lips and the same moment faded away.
Â
Hakkai felt like his guilty conscience was shaking a little under a light touch of anger, but then he remembered that, in fact, he didn't expect anything else from his friend. He deserved that sarcasm or something even worse.
Â
“I never knew you fancied men,” Gojyo's voice was still flat and steady. For a moment Hakkai wished Gojyo to start yelling or using dirty words of even hit him, anything but this unnatural lack of emotions. “I don't think gender makes me any difference,” he continued with a small sigh. “It never did. Love is just love after all.”
Â
Oh gods, did I actually said `love'? Hakkai shot his friend a quick glare, but the redhead didn't seem to notice. He was sitting there, with slumped shoulders and hidden face, so lost and so uncertain. Hakkai fought the sudden urge to close him in tight embrace. He wasn't allowed to comfort him like that any more. So he tried another way.
Â
“If it helps, I can promise that I'll never take an advantage of you again,” he said carefully. “And I can just forget about all of this if you want me to.”
Â
“I don't know if I can forget,” Gojyo's voice trembled a little. “You're not just another one-night stand. And, after all, that was me who started. I kissed you first. I went down on you. I was on top. And I was enjoying it. How on earth I suppose to forget that?”
Â
Hakkai just couldn't find an answer to that, but Gojyo obviously didn't expect him to. “Just let me think about it a little more, ok?” he said simply.
Â
“Take your time,” Hakkai brought himself back to his feet. “I won't rush you again.” And Sanzo can put his threats right up his… well, interesting places, he thought. But please, Gojyo, make your mind soon. Because I don't know how much more I can take.
Â
***
Â
Gojyo did exactly what he had said. He was thinking all day long, but it didn't make him any good. The little chitchat he had with Hakkai, snapped him out from earlier numbness just to put him in another shocking state as he realized a couple of things. First of all, he didn't feel sorry for the other night any more. Hakkai told him so many times that he didn't feel violated in any way and Gojyo just had to believe him. And as he did, he had to admit that he really enjoyed it all the way. That was a disturbing thought. He enjoyed sex with another man. He, who was supposed to be the greatest womanizer ever. And another thing - he stopped calling himself those offensive names. He wasn't queer or faggot any more. It just happened that he had sex with his friend; things like that happen all the time, don't they?
Â
He was completely out of character. He just shouldn't accept this so lightly, but apparently he did. And that bothered him the most. Then, other strange and unwanted thoughts came. Like about fancying Hakkai while being drunk. He remembered, that because of these strange emotions towards Hakkai, he actually had thought about the whole idea of shagging men. He had come to the conclusion then, that it would be possible for him but only after huge amount of alcohol, maybe during some wild party, when he will be too drunk to say no to some guy, willing enough to serve him. Well, after all it happened when he was drunk. But it wasn't him who had been served. It was he, who served Hakkai and he did his best to please him as well as he pleased himself.
Â
Yeah, something was definitely out of place. He shouldn't feel so right about it, he shouldn't be so self confident for fuck sake! He should be disturbed by all that had happened but instead he was disturbed by this strange feeling of rightness. Great gods, he was so fucked up!
Â
He was still far away in his own world when they finally stopped for the night. Half consciously he helped to arrange the camp, he had his dinner and then just sat for a while staring into the yellow flames of their campfire.
Â
“How long you're gonna act like this, you pathetic bastard?” Sanzo's voice broke through the cocoon of silence that Gojyo wrapped around himself so carefully. The redhead looked at him, suddenly becoming aware of his surroundings. The monk was sitting not so far, wearing only his black top and jeans, and he was cleaning his gun with careful, almost caressing moves.
Â
“Fuck off,” muttered Gojyo without real anger. He looked around, noticing Goku, apparently pleased with his meal and teasing Hakuryuu, but no sign of Hakkai.
Â
“You could move your lazy ass and go and help Hakkai with the dishes,” Sanzo seemed to read his thoughts. He didn't even look up at half-breed but his voice sounded a little softer than usual.
Â
“And maybe it's time for the Great Priest Sanzo to move his ass instead of bossing around?” asked Gojyo, feeling more like himself again. “Very fucking funny,” Sanzo pouted his mouth. Then he glanced towards Goku to make sure that the boy wasn't listening. “I really need you to go after Hakkai,” he said with low voice. “None of us should wander alone. It's not safe here.”
Â
Gojyo shrugged in disbelief. “Gee, Sanzo, since when did you became so paranoid?” The monk didn't say any of his usual threats, he didn't even make an angry face. “The stream is over there,” he said pointing the direction with barrel of his gun. “Just go.”
Â
That behavior was strange enough for the bitchy monk, so Gojyo lifted himself up, sighing as if it was a great effort, and entered the forest.
Â
Evening had crawled between the trees long time ago and although the sky was still rather bright, here, on the bottom of the forest, twilight had reigned. The half-breed walked slowly and carefully, trying not to make any sound. He didn't want to startle Hakkai, he just felt like practicing his stealth skills a little. Everyone just had to admit he was good at it. He could move with feline grace. He was even able to see in the darkness almost as good as a cat. Gojyo used to joke that it was something he gained through the whole process of the evolution as Female's Predator, and every time he was saying this, all the girls were giggling and calling him sweet kitten. “That's right, I'm sweet as hell,” he muttered to himself as he continued to walk towards the stream.
Â
It wasn't so far from their camp and soon he was on the edge of a small clearing. Hakkai was there, only few steps away, bent over the water. Clean dishes were lying next to him, as well as his jacket, black shirt and shoes. The brunette was kneeling on the bank of the stream, washing up his face and neck with swift, graceful moves. Gojyo stopped hesitantly, still hidden in the shadow and watched his friend carefully. The way he was arching his back and exposing his ass was so… The redhead shrugged a little at a strange arousal feeling. It was almost like looking at a beautiful girl.
Â
Gojyo sighed and shook his head in disbelief. He could accept the fact that he had sex with a man after being drunk; it wasn't the first time when he lost his self control anyway. But being sober and still fancying Hakkai - that was something completely different. So it looked like he only needed one night to change his whole attitude and become bisexual. Unbelievable, just fuckin' unbelievable. He is indeed a perverted son of a bitch, isn't he?
Â
Ok, enough is enough. “Oi, Hakkai!” he said as he stepped hard on the ground, just to make some noise. The brunette turned his head and frowned a little but his expression softened when Gojyo came out from the shadow. “Oh, hi Gojyo,” he smiled as usual. “Is there something wrong?”
Â
“Yeah, the Great Prince of Paranoia sent me to be your bodyguard. `Cause it's not safe here,” he said faking Sanzo's way of speaking. Hakkai chuckled a little; small droplets of water rolled from his throat down to his pale, bare chest. Gojyo swallowed hard, feeling that soft touch of heat again. “So, refreshing, are we?” he asked, just to say something.
Â
“Yes, there's nothing like cool water after tiring day.” Hakkai was still sitting on his heels, combing his damp hair with his fingers and looking up at Gojyo. “In fact I was just fighting the temptation to lie down in the middle of the stream and let it wash me off.”
Â
Gojyo swallowed again. Momentary vision of Hakkai lying naked in the stream, surrounded by silver waves, was very, very disturbing. “Looks like fun,” he said, his eyes following narrow paths of moistness coming down Hakkai's skin. Skin, that was so soft. Gojyo easily could recall that sensation under his fingers and suddenly he wanted to feel it again. Oh no, no way. No fuckin' way! The redhead sat on the grass, not so far from Hakkai, but far enough to be unable to touch him. Half consciously, he pulled out a crumpled pack of cigarettes and placed one of the cancer sticks between his lips. He didn't really feel like smoking, but he had to occupy his hands somehow.
Â
“So, I can see you're still not too comfortable near me,” said Hakkai softly. “It's not about you,” Gojyo grumbled as he lit the cigarette and took first deep drag. “Well, maybe it is. But mostly it's `bout me.”
Â
“Oh, I see,” Hakkai's voice trailed off. He turned his head away. Wet strands fell on his forehead sending some little droplets down to his cheek. They looked almost like tears.
Â
How should I put it, thought Gojyo inhaling bitter smoke. How should I tell him? Should I tell him at all?
Â
“I can feel it Gojyo,” said Hakkai suddenly. “That you're uncertain. Please, don't be afraid. That's just emotions.”
Â
“Are you damn psychic or what?” answered Gojyo with nervous smirk. Just emotions? Yeah, that's good one! Those `just emotions' caused him nothing but trouble so far. “I know what I feel,” he added hesitantly, “but I'm just not sure it is right.”
Â
“So maybe you should act the way you feel?” Hakkai's voice trembled a little. His gaze wandered somewhere away, the brunette was obviously avoiding Gojyo's eyes. “Maybe I should?” Gojyo mused aloud as he threw half-smoked cigarette into the water. It won't hurt anybody if I try, he assured himself reaching his hand out. I can always stop if I feel like it. Or continue. We'll see.
Â
He was sitting too far to do something more than brush his fingertips over Hakkai's shoulder. The skin was soft and smooth, just as he remembered. Hakkai twitched slightly under his touch, his eyes shutting tightly, just like in anticipation of something violent to come. Gojyo couldn't stop a nervous smile as he shoved himself close enough to place his hand over Hakkai's collarbone. He felt the cool moisture and shivering flesh, and suddenly he wanted to feel more. “Is it all right, `Kai?” he asked with low voice, moving his hand up to the brunette's throat and under his chin, urging him to turn his head. “Is it all right with you?”
Â
At first Hakkai didn't say anything, but he opened his eyes. Gojyo almost gasped at the sight of those big green irises, darkened now and looking almost like two precious emeralds. “It's all right Gojyo,” his voice so quiet, almost a whisper. “If it is what you feel.”
Â
Gojyo came little closer, moving his hand further up to meet damp strands plastered to slender neck. He was now kneeling next to Hakkai, so close that he could feel his hot breath. Hesitantly he reached out his other hand and cupped brunette's face. He waited for the smallest sign of disapproval but instead he received encouraging one. Hakkai half-closed his shiny eyes and slightly parted his lips. Gojyo didn't need a clearer invitation.
Â
He bent down and brushed the brunette's mouth with his own, softly and almost shyly before he pressed further, catching his lower lip and sucking it gently. He heard a soft sigh and felt strong yet gentle hands on his lower back. A sudden wave of pleasure came to him and washed him from head to toes. The hell with decency and morality. Now he knew what he wanted and he was going to have it. But just then, to his great surprise, he felt Hakkai's tongue, brushing slowly his upper lip. Great gods, he's not only answering my advances, he's going to take a lead, thought Gojyo, sighing with pleasure. Well, why not? He shifted his head and let this hot wet intruder in.
Â
That was the softest and sweetest kiss he's ever had. Hakkai's tongue slowly explored every inch of his mouth, tasting and probing, and twining around his own tongue, demanding for the answer. So Gojyo answered, first gently but then more passionately and aggressively. He tightened his grip on dark wet hair and pushed his tongue forward, shoving out the intruder and taking its place into Hakkai's mouth. He stopped thinking completely, surrendered to hot wave of pleasure racing down to his groin. He was already half-hardened and it was just a kiss. Sudden imagination of where it can take them made him even more excited. With low groan, he pushed Hakkai on the ground.
Â
The brunette tensed a little but Gojyo only deepened their kiss and moved himself on top, shoving his knee between Hakkai's legs. He gasped at the feeling of hard flesh on his thigh and he pressed himself even more on the slender body beneath him, rubbing his own freshly awakened erection over Hakkai's hip. “What are you…” Hakkai broke their kiss and asked breathlessly, staring at Gojyo with soft smile. “That's stupid question, `Kai,” the redhead hung himself only inches from his friend's lips. “Or maybe you want me to stop?”
Â
Hakkai smiled even wider, but it wasn't a simple smile anymore. Gojyo's eyes widened in surprise at the unmistakable sight of his own sexy smirk crawling upon brunette's lips. Unbelievable, just fuckin' unbelievable, thought Gojyo, second time during last ten minutes. It's not only me, who had changed into someone new. Well, that only means more fun for both of us!
Â
Whatever Gojyo had planned that second, never came to realization because of the white fur ball that came right from the sky and landed on Gojyo's arm, chirping anxiously. “What the fuck?!” the redhead jerked backwards, trying to shake off his assaulter. “It's ok, Gojyo. It's only Hakuryuu,” Hakkai lifted himself on one elbow, other hand clutched firmly on fabric of his friend's shirt, calming him down. “What's wrong, Hakuryuu?”
Â
“Kyu-yu!” the dragon chirped again with demanding tone. “Oh... Well, we're both all right, as you can see. Go back and tell Sanzo that he doesn't have to worry. We'll be there in a few minutes,” said Hakkai, his breath still ragged a little. “Kyu?” another chirp came, but this time the dragon sounded rather calm. And curious. “Yes, Hakuryuu, we were… making up. We're not angry anymore. Now please, go back.”
Â
“Kyu!” the dragon announced happily and rose up to the air. “Making up?” Gojyo lowered himself again and laid a light kiss on brunette's forehead. “I thought we were rather making out.”
Â
“Semantics,” Hakkai graciously slid himself from under Gojyo's weight and stood up. “But we really have to come back now. Sanzo's--“
Â
“Oh, fuck Sanzo!” Gojyo rose abruptly and grabbed Hakkai's arm just to pull him into tight embrace. “Are you gonna leave me like this?” he asked seductively, grinding their hips together. “Are you?”
Â
“Gojyo, please. We can't do it now,” Hakkai moaned softly, mimicking his movement in spite of his statement. “You don't want to?” Gojyo held him closer, kissing softly his swollen lips. “It's not that…” the brunette pressed his hands against Gojyo's chest in weak attempt to shove him off. “I just… don't want Sanzo to come after us…”
Â
“Maybe you're right,” Gojyo sighed, resting his head against Hakkai's shoulder. He inhaled deeply the cool scent of his almost-lover's body before he slowly moved away. It was painful, his aroused body seemed to be screaming with aching desire but he decided to ignore it. He didn't know why, but suddenly he wanted to show Hakkai that he's not sex-obsessed, driven by his hormones teenager. He wanted Hakkai to trust him not only as a friend but also as a lover. Mature and responsible lover. “Well, we'll have plenty of time to make… up again, won't we?” he asked with forced smile.
Â
Hakkai smiled back, with slight relief but also with a little bit of longing. “Yes, I think we will,” he said reaching down for his clothes. But then suddenly he froze, narrowing his eyes. “What's wrong, Hakkai?” Gojyo immediately forgot about all the sex. He rarely could see that kind of expression on his friend's face and it alerted him even more. He relaxed his right hand, ready to summon his weapon.
Â
“I can feel someone's presence,” Hakkai slowly brought his hands together, palms next to each other, not gathering his chi yet, but Gojyo knew in that position he could do it split second. “Somebody is watching us and it's not a friendly person.”
Â
“Nothing less from famous Sanzo Party,” a deep and silky voice breathed softly from behind the trees. “I wouldn't dare to interrupt you but since you're ready to leave…”
Â
“Who the fuck are you?!” Gojyo tried to see through the darkness but even his cat's eyes weren't able to find the owner of the voice. “Show yourself!”
Â
“As you wish, red,” came quiet answer and next moment tall, dark figure came out from nowhere and stepped on the grass just in front of two startled friends. “I listen and obey. Will you do the same for me?”

I would be happy if I could tell that I don't care if anybody likes my story. But I do care. I know that people open it, but does anybody actually read it? That lack of reviews makes me sad. And lonely.
Anyway, I will be writing it as long as I feel like it. Because real fun is about to start. More smut, more angst, more traumatic events from Traumatic Bunny's wicked imagination. You will see.
Â
By the way, Happy Easter! Do you still believe in Easter Bunny? You should. He's somewhere out there, waiting to reveal himself and traumatize your life. Beware of that Fluffy Disaster!
