The ride to the airport was relatively uneventful, and Narita was full of people, as always. Eiri parked his Mercedes in the long-term parking lot and stacked his suitcase, and Shuichi's over-sized duffel bag on a carriage. Shu followed him to check-in, where they met with the rest of their party. Sakano, K, Hiro, and Surugu all waved at the pair.
Hiro and Suguru did not seem at all fazed by Eiri's presence; it was normal for him to accompany Shu to the gate. However, when they noticed the extra luggage on the cart and Eiri's laptop bag, their brows furrowed, and they exchanged glances.
Shuichi noticed, and hastened to explain. "Yuki's coming with us, guys." He glanced at K. "I thought you were gonna tell them."
K grinned. "I wanted to see their reactions."
Shu rolled his eyes. "Sorry guys. I didn't mean to surprise you with this."
Hiro spoke up, "not a problem, Shu. Just wasn't expecting it." Suguru only nodded.
K escorted all of them to the check-in counter, where they handed over their baggage, and received their gate number.
Half way to the gate, Eiri began noting subtle changes in his lover: his smile became strained, his motions became mechanical, and little by little, he started lagging behind everyone else.
Eiri let it be for a few minutes, then fell into step with him, behind the rest of the group. Shuichi noticed the subtle comfort, and smiled up at his lover. They walked in silence for the rest of the way.
When they reached the gate, they all took seats, Shu sitting right next to Eiri, while everyone else had at least one chair between themselves and the next person. Shuichi was uncharacteristically quiet, but no one except Eiri seemed to pay any attention to the fact. He supposed this was normal behavior to them at an airport, but it was disconcerting to him. Each time someone's voice came over the intercom, Shu started. By the third time this happened, Shuichi was biting his nails. By the fifth time, he was visibly shaking.
Normally, Eiri would have mocked Shu,, and told him he was being stupid or childish, but the fear was too evident, and cause his whole demeanor to change. It worried the writer.
When the next announcement flowed through the P.A. System, Eiri was sure the boy was going to break down into tears.
"Shu," he said quietly, using his name to try and calm him. "You gonna be okay?"
Shuichi inhaled shakily, and nodded slightly. "I think so." He looked up at Eiri with worried eyes. Eiri wanted more than anything to pull the boy into his lap and hold him. He wanted to kiss away that worried expression. In doing so, however, he would reveal to other people, at Narita Airport that he actually harbored emotions. That was not an idea he liked.
Instead, he settled for running a hand through his own hair and resting a hand on Shu's thigh, squeezing gently.
The boy seemed to relax his tensed muscles slightly, and he leaned back in his seat.
They remained like that until the P.A. System again crackled to life, and they announced Bad Luck's flight.
Shu, again, began to tremble beneath Eiri's palm. Slowly, he stood, pulling the writer to his feet. Eiri held Shu back for a moment, allowing the other members of the band to walk ahead of them, then pulled the singer into an embrace. "It's gonna be okay, Shu." The boy held him tightly for a moment, then released him, grabbing his hand again, and headed for the plane. Eiri glanced around to see if anyone had noticed his display of affection, and narrowed his eyes at the few people that were watching them, then followed his lover to the entrance.

Ta ke-off was decent. Shuichi clung to Eiri's arm until the blonde pried Shu's fingers off, and laced his own through them. He was sure the boy was squeezing hard enough to break his hand into pieces, but he wasn't really worried - he could type one-handed if need be.
The first class seats were comfortable, and had enough leg room to make the flight somewhat enjoyable. That is if Eiri could calm Bad Luck's vocalist down enough to relax himself.
When the pilot announced that passengers could use portable electronic devices, Shu nearly tore his backpack apart in an attempt to reach his MD player. Eiri was able to retrieve his laptop once his hand was freed by his lover, and he put the tray table down to support the machine.
Music seemed to calm Shu down enough that Eiri could get at least a few paragraphs written, and he made sure to glance at the boy every few minutes to check on him. Shu leaned back in his chair, gripping the armrests. His eyes were closed, but Eiri guessed he could still feel the mild ascents and drops the plane made as it passed through the different pressure zones.
Things went on like this for several hours; Shu flinched when the plane dipped, and Eiri typed, taking no notice of the plane's altitude changes.
When they were somewhere over the Midwestern United States, the plane began to shake and dip rapidly, only to gain altitude and dip again.
Shuichi's eyes sprang open, and he began trembling. Quickly, Eiri saved his work, shut the lid of his laptop, not bothering to shut it down, and slid it into it's case underneath the seat in front of him. Before he could get the tray table up, the P.A. System came on.
"It seems we've hit a bit of turbulence, folks. Please place your seat backs and tray tables in their upright and locked positions. We should be clear of this momentarily."
Shu made an "eep!" noise, and gripped Eiri's arm again. Eiri calmly pried Shu's fingers away, put the armrest up, and extended his arm, inviting Shu to cling to him if need be. The boy did just that, flinging himself into his lover's embrace (as much as the seatbelt would allow), and holding onto him like a lifeline, with both arms. Slowly, the turbulence passed, and Eiri kissed Shu's forehead, still holding him loosely.
"You alright?" he inquired gently, suddenly wondering when he'd become so soft towards the boy. He ran his fingers through Shu's pink tresses, awaiting a response.
Shu sighed. "I think I will be." He turned his head to look up at his lover. "Sorry I'm such a pain in the ass," he stated.
Eiri shook his head. "A pain in the ass, you are. But it's okay. I'll get back at you later," he stated, giving Shu a lewd smirk.
Shu grinned for the first time since the entered the terminal. "I'll be waiting for that."
Eiri growled in his throat. 'Well, I know a really good way of distracting him from the fact that we're still on a plane.' He glanced around, noticing for the first time that the first class cabin harbored only six people, all in his party. The other two seats must have been bought by NG, too. For security reasons, he guessed. 'Well it's not like they don't know about our relationship. I'm horny now, and he needs a distraction.' Eiri shrugged to himself, and captured Shu's lips.
They spent the remainder of the flight necking, and Shu was so distracted by Eiri that he barely even noticed with the plane descended and touched down on the runway.
When Bad Luck stepped off the plane, Eiri was holding Shu's hand, their fingers interlocked. He was so horny at this point that he really didn't give a damn who saw them.
While they were waiting at the baggage claim, he pulled Shuichi towards him, wrapping his arms around Shu's midsection. "When we get back to the hotel, you can bet that you'll be getting your punishment for being such a pain," he growled.
Shu glanced up and grinned when he saw the lusty look he was receiving. His grin widened when he noted the soft, loving look behind Eiri's lust-darkened eyes.
Bad Luck's vocalist reached a hand up to cup Eiri's cheek. "Thank you, Yuki."
Eiri rolled his eyes, still grinning, and crushed the boy to him while they waited for the band's limo to arrive.
