[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]

Man it's been taking me forever to get to this chapter. I already have the story written out..it's just a real pain in the ass trying to decide how to split it up.

Many apologies, but this is going to be a really short chapter. I realized that…this is the only way to end the chapter. The next chapter will be really long. Lemons galore too… :P…

Disclaimer: *sob* no Ryu for me

Only when her footsteps faded did Tohma look at what she had written. He paled even more as he read the single word:

-LIAR-

She wouldn't cry. She wouldn't break down, she needed to be strong. Confronting Tohma had been painful. An intense pain, deep in her already scarred soul. It was even more painful than what had happened with Ryuichi. She couldn't believe that she had behaved the way she had. Now she ruined the one relationship that she might have been able to hold onto.

Kisa was sinking deeper and deeper into a cloud of depression. Then, suddenly Ryuichi came around the corner. He must have sensed her mood, because he smiled and walked directly towards her. He made no mention of her behavior as he neared her and opened his arms to her. She almost wept with the relief that he still wanted to be around her as she wrapped her own arms around his waist. His light brought her back, away from what she thought of as a betrayal. She ran her hands down his back, and encountered a soft, plush rabbit. She pulled Kuma from the waistband of Ryuichi's pants and held the animal close, finding comfort in Ryu's scent.

Ryuichi was torn between wanting to take Kuma back from Kisa, and letting her ease her obvious pain with the stuffed animal. No one knew the secrets that Kuma kept, and Ryuichi didn't want Kisa to find them. However, his innate chivalry won. The peaceful expression on her face as she hugged the rabbit and kissed it between the ears, tugged at his heart. He hated to take away from her contentment, but he needed to know.

“Kisa?”

She looked up at him with Kuma held close to her chest.

“What was it about seeing Yuki-san that upset you so much?”

Her grip tightened visibly on the stuffed creature, and Ryuichi put on his, now despised, childish disguise, and emitted a sound of distress. Kisa looked down, and flinched. She handed Kuma to Ryuichi and started to walk away.

“Kisa wait!” he said, jogging to catch up.

“I just wanted to know what made you so sad. I wanna help,” he pouted in his best cute-little-boy-with-puppy-dog-eyes-face.

She just frowned and shook her head. Then, she ran away. She made it through the elevator doors just as they were closing. Ryuichi ran down the stairs in an attempt to catch up with her. By the time he reached the lobby of NG, she was gone. He knew that she was really gone, she was going to leave Japan again. He wouldn't see her for another three years, at least. He might never see her again this time. That thought caused the thirty-one year old singer a little panic, and a great deal of sadness.
