Disclaimer: Sailor Moon and Gundam Wing belongs to respective companies. This is a Sailor Uranus/Amara Tenoh and Duo Maxwell centered fiction.

Dedication: A friend who passed away awhile ago. Her smile never failed to shine and her love for Formula 1 racing.

To Chibizoo, Blue Ninja, K-Money, Ember Blaze and Ashley Potetee . Thanks for the inspiration and sharing your gift of writing.

Warning: This is based on the dubbed version. I know Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune are in fact lovers in the Japanese version. The American Version made them as cousins. I'm sorry if I offended any Michiru/Haruka fans out there.

Part 1: Deliberation

The sounds of roaring engines thundering through the racetrack. Shining, metallic sports cars in a hot pursuit, accelerating at a rate of 150 miles per hour. All drivers competing in the Final Grand Prix for the World Championship Title in Milan, Italy. One of them was a girl named Amara Tenoh.

The spectators and fans alike watched from the sideline. There was tension in the air. It was the final round. All their eyes fixed on a particular a navy blue sport car leading in the first place position.

Amara's closest friends, Michelle, Trista and Hotaru were all there proudly supporting her. They were all cheering along with the crowd. A big smile written on their faces. After the years of hard work and dedication, Amara had finally became the top racecar driver in Japan.

"Please, please let Amara win.." Hotaru whispered nervously, clasping her hand together in a prayer form. She can't bear to see her dear friend to lose disappointingly.

"Have faith, little one." Trista said. She tried to ease the doubt in Hotaru's mind. "Amara needs our support more than ever."

"Amara is a strong girl. Nothing can pass by her." Michelle added, looking confidently.

At this moment, the blue navy-racing car was leading the pack. The driver was Amara herself. A red car was trailing behind her. All of a sudden, the red car dangerously spun out of control and collided next to Amara. Amara's car skidded off the racetrack and crashed to the wall. The car leapt in flames. Paramedics and fire department were immediately called upon the accident. The audiences went into a shock mode.

"Amara!" Michelle, Trista and Hotaru exclaimed. They went down the bleachers. They had worried expressions on their faces. They had to see if Amara had somehow survived the crash. A large man blocked their path.

"I'm sorry miss but you can't go any further." The man replied ruefully. "For your own safety, please go back to your seats."

"We want to see if our friend is okay." Michelle pleaded. "Please let us go."

The man shook his head. "We have professionals who are trying to handle the situation. She'll be in good hands."

Michelle, Trista and Hotaru stood silently still. They held hands altogether. They saw incoming stretcher carrying unconscious Amara. Her face was badly bruised.

Amara blinked her eyes a couple of times. She wasn't sure if this was a dream or she was partly hallucinating. She was surrounded in a white, pure light. It felt peaceful and comforting. It was unlike she'd ever experienced before.

"What is this place?" She curiously wondered.

"Amara." Someone had called out her name.

"Who's there?" Amara demanded. She braced herself in case an intruder attacked her.

"Don't be afraid, Amara." A woman appeared before her.

Amara gasped. "It couldn't be.."

To be continued.
