"She will probably die Heero." laughed Relena as she disappeared.

The doors suddenly unlocked and Duo ran in followed by the others.

"Angel!" yelled Duo as he ran in to see Heero holding Angel in his arms. She was bleeding severely from her chest and had passed out. "Oh my god" he whispered as he walked up to Heero.

"What happened to her?" asked Quatre running after Duo.

"I don't know. She just stood there when Relena reached into her chest and pulled out a green orb." Heero answered.

"Let's get her home." suggested Zechs who had ran in with Wu Fei, Hilde, and Trowa.

"I agree" Duo whispered in shock, his eyes wide as he reached for something in his pocket. It was a small cloth bag. "Home!" he commanded as he threw some dust around everyone. They all vanished and appeared in the den of their house. Heero laid Angel onto the couch. Duo knelt beside her and proceeded to throw the last bit of the dust onto Angel. "Heal" he commanded softly.

"What happened to her?" asked Hilde on the verge of tears.

"Her sole had been taken." answered Duo sitting on the floor near the couch.

"Her sole?" asked Trowa confused.

"I'll explain everything. Please sit down." Duo said, his voice softer then usual.

Everyone sat in a circle next to Duo.

"Where do I begin?" Duo wondered rubbing his eyes.

"Why did she want Heero?" asked Trowa.

"She needs Heero to become the Emperis. Heero is or was Angels mate. He was supposed to become king with Angel but I guess that won't happen. Heero has always known but it was sealed with a spell. Tonight Angel unlocked it with her gift to him. Her song. After she presents her gift, he must choose his mate. That is why she and Relena fought. When a vampire is kissed for the first time, their sole combines with the other person. It doesn't matter if the other person is human or vampire. That is why Angel had never kissed before. She was saving it for Heero and only Heero. If someone else had kissed her, then her sole wouldn't combine with Heero's. That is also why we never let Relena kiss Heero. Her sole will combine with him and she would become the Emperis."

"How about what happened to Angel?" Trowa asked wrapping an arm around Quatre. Quatre closed his eyes trying to prevent himself from crying, leaning into Trowa.

"Every vampire is born with 2 soles. One is human which is white, and the other is their vampire sole which is green. They are both intertwined and that is how vampires are able to hide their fangs and blend in with humans. Part of them is actually human. When a vampire freely gives up their vampire sole…they become human. Forever." Duo whispered.

"So Angel is human?" asked Trowa.

"Yeah," Duo sighed, "She is."

"It's my fault" Heero whispered resting his head onto his knees and his arms crossed in front of him.

"Why?" asked Trowa.

"I was the one…the one… wh…who she traded her sole for. If…if I hadn't left or…If I …" Heero closed his eyes as a few tears fell from his eyes.

"Heero" Duo whispered concerned.

"No" Heero lifted his head. "I need air" he whispered getting up and walking out of the house and sat onto the bench.

"Why would Relena want Angel to become human?" asked Hilde once the door closed.

"That is just a bonus. If she had Angel's sole she could become the Emperis without needing Heero in about 6 hours. She has to wait 6 hours for the sole to completely detach from Angel's other sole. Then she will rule and no one can stop her."

"6 hours! That means we have time to get her." Hilde exclaimed standing up.

"No! We can't!" shouted Duo on the verge of tears.

"Why?"

"I almost lost Angle once. I can't lose her again. She can't fight Relena now. She's human and Angel was the only person who could stand up to her."

"We can't give up." Quatre whispered.

"I agree" Zechs nodded.

"Same here" Wu Fei stood up followed by Zechs, Trowa, and Quatre.

"Neither will I"

The turned to the couch and saw Angel sitting up. "I will not let Relena win as long as I live." she vowed. Her eyes were brown, her skin peach, and her nails short and dull. She was completely human.

"But she could kill you." Duo asked worried.

"Don't worry. I can't die that easily." Angel smiled.

All of a sudden she heard an engine start and everyone ran to the window to see Heero ride off on Duo's motorcycle.

"What does he think he's doing?" demanded Wu Fei.

"He's going to Relena" Duo shouted running outside. "Damn!" he shouted as he watched Heero turn a corner with a screech.

"We have to get him back." Angel whispered trying to stand up.

"Angel!"

"We have to rescue him" Angel said determined as she stood.

"But you're human." Hilde pointed out.

"So?"

"Well…"

"You'll die." Duo said walking in.

"I will not sit here and do nothing." Angel yelled.

"We can't let Heero go alone." Quatre said walking up to Duo.

"I agree but…"

"But nothing. Let's go." Angel glared grabbing a hold of Duo's arm.

"Fine but you stay behind us." Duo sighed, grabbing Angel by the waist and jumped onto the roof. The others quickly followed.

Heero speed up and drove to where Relena was back in the auditorium He didn't know how he knew she was there but he did. He got off Duo's bike and walked up to the auditorium. He opened up the doors and walked in taking a deep breath. "Relena!" he shouted. It echoing through the room. `It's my fault Relena will win. I must stop it.' He thought.

"Heero!?" Relena smiled "What a wonderful surprise." She laughed.

`I hope I could waist enough time' Heero quickly thought.

"What are you doing here?" Relena asked.

"I want to do a trade."

"Another one?"

"Yes, I…I want to be with you Relena." Heero replied calmly walking up to her.

"Really?" Relena asked smiling again.

"Yes" he whispered looking into her eyes. "I…I love you Relena."

"You do?"

"I do." He whispered "But…"

"But what?" she asked.

"I need you to free Angel's sole."

"Why?"

"I don't want Angel to remain human. If you free her, I will kiss you." He replied not looking into her eyes.

"Give back her sole? Hmmmmm" Relena thought. "Well I guess I wouldn't need it if I had you."

"That's right."

"And you won't go back on you're word?" she asked suspiciously.

"Agreed." Heero nodded.

"Okay" she smiled as Duo, Angel, Hilde, Trowa, Quatre, Zechs, and Wu Fei ran in.

"Don't do it Heero!" shouted Angel.

"Too late" Relena smirked pulling out Angel's vampire sole and crushing it in her hands. "Stupid boy" she laughed pulling Heero in and kissing his.
