Trowa pulled into the small parking lot that surrounded the red and white building. A sign above the door said, 'Welcome to Santa's workshop'. A sleigh in the middle of the parking lot was richly decorated with lights and the wood statues before it looked like deer. They were all strung up with harnesses to the sleigh. holiday music filtered from speakers.

"What kind of tree were those made out of?" Wufei asked seeing the statues had knots in the wood making the knees look knobby.

"Diamond Willow, the knots are naturally formed. Cute aren't they?" Lynn asked, kneeling to 'pet' one of the raindeer, as Liz snapped a few shots with her camera of Quatre and Duo teasing each other with handfulls of powdery snow. She got another one of Heero blushing as Duo pulled him up into the sleigh with him, to use as a shield against the smaller blonde. The flash went off causing Lynn to look up seeing that Liz had taken a picture of her and Wufei.

"I couldn't resist that one. You two looked so cute." Liz beamed a bright smile.

"Where the others?" Wufei asked seeing that he was the only one of the pilots still out in the cold.

"Last I saw Trowa and Quatre they were headed that way." Liz pointed to the building. "Duo and Heero went that way." She pointed towards a barn like building. "Guess they want to see Dasher and Dancer." She grinned. The trio headed inside to warm up.

Quatre and Trowa disappeared into the building where it was warmer. The smell of spiced apples, gingerbread and peppermint filled the air as the two entered.

Quatre smiled seeing the room they entered was full of shelves holding everything from wooden blocks to little metal soldiers.

Trowa picked up a small doll looking at it.

"They're all handmade."A young woman said with a smile. "Those ones are my favorite. Jordan makes them."

"It's beautiful." Quatre said looking at the doll Trowa held.

"You think we should get one for Cathy? She did say she wanted something." Quatre asked picking up another doll. This one was a girl with cat ears looking happy about the yarn in her hands.

"Is she a girlfriend?" The girl asked.

"She's his sister." Quatre said politely. He turned hearing the bell telling that the others were catching up.

Duo lead the way into the barn. A large man in red pants and a big bushy white beard waved, seeing them as he fed the deer like creatures that were in the stalls. The antlered creatures looked at the two teenaged boys for a second then turned back to their feed.

"You boys enjoying yourselves so far?" The man asked. Duo nodded.

"Is it okay to touch them?" He asked.

"They might react a little better if you give them a treat." He held out his hand, which was filled with sugar cubes. Heero took one and tentavely reached out to the nearest stall. The name stenciled over the door was Cupid.

Duo smiled and went to the stall next to Heero's, which was labled Aura. The female caribou poked it's head out and licked at Duo's hand. The men in red smiled.

"She's one of my favorites. Gentle with little ones." He said as he went to the back of the heated barn for a brush to groom a few of them. Both boys looked up as he laughed. They looked at each other for a second.

"Hi." A young woman dressed in a green tunic and leggings outfit, complete with the elf hat, said as she hobbled slightly up to where Wufei was looking at some figures. She had her arm full of dolls. The girl tucked a lock of hair out of her eyes as she started to sort the dolls by the dress they wore. Wufei looked at her, realizing she was using crutches to walk.

"Jordan! I thought that you were going to stay at home today?" The girl with Trowa and Quatre said walking up to help put the dolls away.

"I was feeling better. Besides, I can handle the work load Beth. Therapy isn't that bad. The doctor still thinks I'm nuts for wanting to go out in the cold though. I can't help it. I'm too into the holiday season." She smiled warmly. As soon as the dolls were put away she tucked the stray lock of hair out of her eyes again. "Beth, there's a few more knights in the back. On the top shelf... Do you think you could get them for me?"

"Sure thing." She nodded heading back to get the dolls.

"So you're the artist..." Trowa smiled as Quatre spoke.

"Huh? Yeah... I make most of the dolls. A few of the others make the other toys. There's not a lot to do when it's cold out." She said and held out her hand. "Jordan Misan."

"Wufei Chang." Wufei said shaking her hand. "Those are my friends Trowa and Quatre."

"Pleased to meet you." She said with a slight bow of her head. She smiled seeing Trowa and Quatre were both holding four dolls each, trying to decide which ones to get for their female friends.

"The clowns go pretty quick." She said stepping back so a few other costumers could look at the warriors on the shelf by her and Wufei.

"I couldn't find the angels Jordan." Beth had her arm full of knights and a few princesses. It was clear by how each doll was slightly different that they were all handmade.

"That's okay. I'll make some more next week. I think we have enough for now." She said calmly.

Wufei picked up one of the Chinese warrior monks she had made. It was perfectly detailed even down to the small eyelashes and each strand of hair. The one he held had a few stray strands framing his face, looking as if he was ready to relax. Wufei set the doll on his palm. It's legs folded neatly so that it was sitting in the lotus position, fitting in his palm.

"Dragon Clan." He said softly tracing the symbol it had on it's jacket.

"My dad sent me pictures from China. I copied them the best I could." She carefully put the doll's hands on it's knees so it looked like it was meditating. "I actually like how the monks turned out."

"It's perfect." He said softly.

"Thank you. It's good to see a scholar say that they're perfect instead of an art critic." She blushed slightly as she spoke. He flashed her a small smile as she pulled her hand away from his.

"How'd..."

"You have that look on your face. One that hints at having been someone who studied a lot. Let me guess, a college student?"

"Not really..." Wufei said amazed she didn't see a soldier in him. She turned to straighten up the dolls again, to keep herself from staring at the man next to her. Wufei looked at the doll in his hand again. Somewhere in his mind he heard the bell on the door go off telling everyone that there were more visitors to the shop.

"Awsome soldiers!" Duo said breaking the uncomfortable silence that had enveloped Wufei and Jordan. Jordan blushed a second then nodded to the violet eyed boy, who had picked up a mossy haired blue eyed knight dressed in Japanese Samurai armor. "Hee-chan! This one looks almost like you." He said holding it up for his partner to see. Wufei looked at the doll in his hand. It had the same dark hair and eyes as his own.

Jordan had wondered off to help some other people pick out a stuffed bear for a three year-old child, who had was eagerly reaching for the bear Jordan held out to her.

Trowa and Quatre walked over with a clown doll that had one eye covered by it's mask, the other was a rich emerald green. They had a collection of other dolls in thier arms as well. One was a moussy brown haired fairy dressed in pink. The wings were thin and brittle looking. In one arm it held a lion cub, the other it held a small bird, both so fully detailed they looked like they would move at any moment. The fairy had soft green eyes that seemed to be laughing with joy.

Trowa was holding another doll, this one was dressed in a military uniform and had voilet hair. She had a sword at her hip and an arm draped across the arm of a white haired prince with a bird like face.

The last doll he held was dressed in a white gown with a tiara in her long blond locks. A blue sash fit around it's slim waist tied in a pretty bow behind it. Bright blue eyes peered out from under a mass of curly bangs.

"That's Relena for sure." Heero said looking at the doll.

"You saw the resemblance too."

"And Noin, and Zechs..." Duo said pointing to the couple that he held.

The two boys nodded. Wufei turned looking on the shelves for another doll. He saw one with short pigtails and picked it up. It was dressed in a chinese wedding gown. "Nantaku..." He whispered adding it to the other doll he was holding.

"Wufie... you okay?" Duo asked seeing tears in Wufei's eyes. He nodded and walked off with both dolls.

"You know... we haven't found one for Sally, Dorothy, Hilde, or the two of us." Quatre said drawing Duo's attention before the American pilot could bug Wufei again.

"Here's Hilde." Trowa said seeing a troll doll on another shelf that wore one of Hilde's smirks. She was dressed in leathers and had a small knife in her hand.

"I always said she was a monster." Duo said with a laugh taking the doll from him. "I want to see the look on her face when I give her this." He laughed.

"I want to be there when she decks you."

Heero found 'Dorothy' on the rack that Trowa and Quatre had been looking at. She was in the form of a peasant girl, her hair falling neatly over her shoulders. She wore a simple dress in a pale lavender color. Her blue eyes looking as if they were plotting something. The way the doll held herself screamed that she was more than she seemed, as well as dangerous if she was a real person.

Sally was found on a shelf of soldiers dressed as if they were in the Second World War. Her hair fell in two braids and the hat she wore was neatly on the top of her head. Her face was in deep concentration, mixed with worry. Her bangs were frayed, as if she had just brushed them out of her face so she could work.

Trowa handed Quatre a blond haired doll with white angel's wings. The face was male, and it wore long white flowing robes. The bright blue eyes made it clear that it was in fact Quatre. It's eyes were dancing with joy. In it's arms it held a violin readying to play.

"That's so Q-man." Duo smiled as Quatre squealed happily.

Wufei finished looking around in the shop, bumping into the man in red that Duo and Heero had met earlier.

"Looks as if the Christmas spirit hit you hard young man." He said noting the tears being held back.

"You could say that." Wufei said not looking at the man.

"Why not tell Ol' Nick what's troubling you?" The man asked.

"Nothing's troubling me... Just memories of lost ones."

"I see." The man nodded. "Of the girl you were forced to marry... The one you named your Gundam after." He said in a pleasent tone. Wufei looked up at him, startled. "I know everything about you Wufei Chang..."

"Who..." Wufei started, holding the two dolls close to him with one arm as he balled his free hand up. The old man smiled and stepped back showing he meant no harm.

"I'm not one that would use it against you. That wouldn't be right for Father Christmas now would it?" He asked. "Besides... You and your friends deserve to have your wishes granted, you've done more than your share, and have grown up much too fast for children your age." He smiled again. "We'll see each other soon." With that the man walked off. Wufei watched him go.

"They're the ones aren't they father?" Jordan asked standing in the back room as the bearded man entered. He looked at her. She smiled from where she stood leaning against an empty crate. In her hand was a small snow globe that had five figures inside. She already knew the answer to the question she asked.

"They are. You know what to do?" He asked. She nodded. "This wouldn't be the first time that I did this Papa." She felt his hand on her shoulder and looked up. Her bright eyes dancing with joy.

"You have started falling for the boy haven't you?"

"Well... Maybe a little... He's cute though. Not as cute as Jack... But still, there's that spark in him..."

"Frost still hitting on the Winter Princess?"

"He'll always hit on me father. He thinks that we are made for each other, I being the ruler of the winter day... He of the winter night... And you of all us sprites of the cold..."

"He'll learn soon enough that you're too feisty and strong willed."

"Aye, one would hope." The girl nodded as she walked back to the door. Her clothing shifted from the wintery ice blue gown she wore back to the little Santa's helper outfit she had been wearing. She set her snowglobe on the counter, where it quickly melted and dissapated into the air.

Jordan saw Wufei walk up to the counter and went to the register. She saw the hurt in his eyes. "Something wrong?"

"No. I'll take both of these." He said with a grim smile.

"Okay. I take it you like them both?"

"She reminded me of someone special."

"Oh? A lucky girlfriend?"

"My wife." He said running his thumb along the doll's face. Jordan bit her lip.

"I'm sorry... She must have been special to cause that much emotion. Because of that.. Call it an early christmas gift." She said as she rang up the two dolls. She wrapped them carefully with bubble wrap and placed them in two boxes, making sure they wouldn't break. "You're friends seem to have found themselves in the other dolls. Have you as well?" She asked. Wufei saw that the dolls only rang up for ten dollars. She saw the look on his face and smiled. "I told you one was a gift." She grinned. "And don't try to pay for him either. You'll wound my pride." She said giving him a small smile. "Just give me another one of those smiles of yours." She added with a wink. Wufei nodded smiling back at her. He was about to thank her when someone tapped his shoulder. Liz grinned.

"Jordan! There you are." Lynn smiled. "Hey Wufei. You find something you wanted?" She asked.

"You could say that." He nodded.

"Lin-lin! Is he part of your group?" Jordan asked as she limped around the counter and gave Lynn a hug.

"Yeah, I was wondering if you wanted to come tree hunting with us, we could drop you off at home afterwards."

"Oh, come on... How often do we see Jordan without Jim around... Why don't you come up to the lodge Jordan.." Liz asked making Wufei blush slightly. The three girls didn't notice it. "We'll drop you off whenever you want."

"Here I am!" Duo squealed finding himself as an angelic warrior, complete with a scythe as a weapon. Heero smiled seeing the look on Duo's face. It was one of pure joy.

"There goes my last Gabriel." Jordan laughed. "And you sure you have enough room for me in the van? Looks like you have a full crew."

"I would like it if you came with us." Wufei said softly. Jordan looked at him, her blond locks falling into her storm grey eyes.

"I..." She nodded with a giggle. "Just let me get my jacket okay? Beth, I'm heading out... Think you can manage the store on your own?"

"Of course I can. Hey Lizzy! I have the bear that you special ordered for your dad ready." Beth said seeing the pair.

"Think I can pick it up now? It would be great to put a few packages under the tree once we have it decorated."

"Sure, let me get the others checked out... then I'll get the bear okay."

"No hurry." Liz said nodding.

Jordan worked her way to the back with Wufei walking beside her. He had offered to get her jacket, but she had refused. "I've been cooped up with nothing to do for a while. It'll be good to actually move around."

"If you don't mind me asking... How'd that happen?" He asked.

"Actually, it was a stupid mistake. I was rock climbing with my Ex and fell. I'm lucky it was only my leg that got screwed up." She pulled off her tunic and hat, hanging them on a peg. Underneith the green shirt she was wearing a tight light blue tank top with silvery sparkles. Her jacket was a thick midnight blue parka with a fur ruff. She slid into it balancing on her good leg. She grabbed up a blue bag. "It's my after work clothes... I was going to go over to the club... Oh well, hanging out with friends would be so much more fun then doing the singles bit at a club full of hormone driven Army brats."

"Oh?" Wufei looked at her.

"The only club where all us teens hang out. It's okay 'till about ten o'clock, then we get the officers in there and the drugs... It's the only place you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for virgin drinks though." She stumbled slightly and Wufei caught her arm.

The two walked up to the others talking about life in general. Liz had a huge box in her arms. Lynn was carrying a drink carrier full of cocoa and a few other bags. Quatre had the dolls he and Trowa had bought while Trowa held another drink carrier and a big box of cookies.

"Never fails. You and your sweet tooth Lin-lin." Jordan grinned.

"It's not my fault. Matt cornered me. Besides, hot chocolate would be a great treat while we're searching for the right tree."

"Let me guess... You're dad's making a full spread tonight isn't he?"

"Since he's going to have to be away on Christmas because of the damn meeting. Yes." Liz nodded. Jordan nodded and allowed Wufei to lead her out of the shop.

The other pilots shot a glance at one another then followed after the pair. Liz and Lynn wondered what was up, but decided not to question. It had been a while since they had seen Jordan truely happy. They hoped that her Ex wouldn't show up to ruin everything.

"Could you hold these so I can get in?" Jordan asked handing her crutches to Wufei. He held them in one hand and held one hand out to steady her. She got into the back of the van and turned to get her crutches. She took them setting them behind the back seat.

Wufei set his two packages in the back along with the rest of the dolls that the group had bought.

"So... How big a tree do we have to get?" Duo asked as he and the others piledinto the car. Lynn took the driver's seat again, Trowa next to her, while the middle seat was filled with Quatre, Liz, and Heero. Duo sat in the back with Wufei and Jordan.

Jordan closed her eyes slightly reading the Christmas dreams the five pilots had, trying to figure out which of them would be the first she'd grant. She nodded to herself seeing the first one she'd grant.

"As big as you guys want. We have enough decorations to decorate the entire state. Dad and I always buy more each year."

"Thankfully I got them out of that habbit of buying enough to cover the house each year before they filled the house completely." Lynn said with a laugh.

"Just wait... When the two of us are on our own... I'll fill up that dinky apartment of yours in no time with decorations. Not to mention furnature."

"Hey, that's low Liz.... Besides, I spend the holidays with you guys." She said with mock anger.

Quatre passed out the hot chocolates, careful not to spill them when Lynn hit a bump. Jordan yelped with a small squeal of laughter almost spilling hers.

"Here." Wufei handed her a napkin.

"Thank you." She said blushing slightly.

The tree farm was actually a warehouse that was used mostly to store sports equipment. It was heated so that a person wouldn't need to stay fully bundled up in their jackets inside. The floor was smooth concrete making it easy for people to walk on. Jordan walked beside the others, who had agreed to let Quatre choose the tree.

"Guys... I've never done this before.." He said as he walked down the isles. Liz and Lynn had disappeared for a minute to go get a few small things that Liz's father had asked her to get.

"It's easy Quatre." Jordan said with a grin. "You get which ever one screams out to you." She said softly. He turned looking at all the trees trying to figure out what she had meant.

A tree, about six feet tall caught his eye. It was in with a bunch of taller trees and looked out of place. He walked over to it. "How about this one?" He asked.

"That one looks perfect." Trowa said smiling at his lover.

"It's cute." Jordan replied agreeing with Trowa. She looked at the green eyed pilot, his dream was the easiest to grant. She knew that it wouldn't take too much to help it along. He wanted his lover to have the best Christmas ever. So far Quatre was having the time of his life. It was clear in how much joy she had seen in the boy's eyes. Quatre wanted the same for Trowa. She decided to let the two have their lives work their way without being magicked.

Duo and Heero were a little more difficult. Duo wanted to completely shatter the shell Heero had built around himself. Heero on the other hand, just wanted Duo.

"Is that a good thing?" Quatre asked Jordan nodded.

"O'er the river and through the woods..." Liz's voice sang out from somewhere in the warehouse.

"...To Grandmother's house we go..." Lynn sang along laughing as they walked up with two huge boxes. Liz set hers down and stretched.

"I swear... You guys really don't need more decorations.."

"These ones are for outside. Besides... I didn't see you complain when we ordered them." Liz said with a laugh. "You guys find the tree?"

"Yes." Trowa and Wufei picked up the tree while Duo picked up the box that Liz had set down. "Anything else we need to get?" The boys asked.

"You already have them trained.... And they're the guests... You two are so lucky.." Jordan laughed as Heero took the box from Lynn.

"I didn't even think we were supposed to train them..." Liz said giving her a wink. Jordan nodded as she followed Liz to get the car.

"Jordan, why don't you wait with the others. Your father would kill me if he found out I let you stay out in this cold. Besides... You want to be in the car with my driving?"

"Good point." Jordan snickered as she walked back over to the others. She was starting to feel a little tired and was hoping she'd be able to make it the rest of the night.

"You okay?" Trowa asked seeing the look on her face. Quatre walked over to her to help her if she needed it. She shook her head to wave him off. He caught her as she lost her balance.

"Thank you." She whispered.

"You looked like you were about ready to fall. You sure you don't want one of us to carry you?"

"I doubt you could Quatre. You're a little smaller than I am."

"He was meaning me." Wufei said coming up silently on her other side. They had the van loaded already. Duo and Heero had taken over the back seat.

"They're horrible." Quatre giggled then turned seeing that Liz and Lynn were kissing each other. He blushed slightly.

"And you're an innocent warrior." Jordan snickered. "Trowa, you better make sure he stays that way. He's too adorable."

Trowa laughed as Quatre turned a deeper shade of red. "He is though. And we should get him inside. I don't like the blue shade he's turning.

Lynn pulled out of her lover's embrace, taking the keys from her. "You know the drill, no driving for you with passengers." Liz pouted as they climbed into the van.

"And remember who let's you drive her van Lynn."

"I could drive something else." Lynn shot her a look as she spoke just loud enough for the others to hear. Liz's face turned bright red.

"Not with others around." She snapped back.
