Calmaria (Part 02)
“So, what do you think, can we manage it?” Trowa arched an eyebrow and tried to look nonchalant.
“Of course we can! What do you take me for? Some weakling?” Wufei scorned and sat on the bed, arms crossed in front of his chest protectively.
Truth was that he was terrified. This was Trowa's first long term mission since he'd become knowingly sick and his husband was supposed to spend six days on one of the newer colonies that were being built by Winner Enterprises. It still had only the essentials in terms of communication, so no long calls nor messages and the agents had only a small amount of time each day to make their calls and that was almost all reserved to report back to the Preventers, what would leave Wufei with barely no time at all... If Trowa really did go on the mission; that was.
“No, that's not what I'm implying. I'm asking that because I am not sure I can do it.” Trowa offered and sat on the bed beside Wufei.
Wufei's eyes widened a bit and he looked the other way, “Oh… I'm sorry…” he muttered, “I didn't mean to push you into it or anything… it's just that, I assumed…”
“It's ok love. I understand how you feel, but you should have learned by now that I don't think less of you because of your illness”
“Hmm” Wufei nodded, “I was being a little selfish…”
“Yes you were” Trowa deadpanned, “now, am I to go, or to stay?”
“Do you really have an option or you're just asking to make us feel better?”
“I'm afraid I'm only asking…” Trowa sighed and Wufei snorted, “You know how Une is, always complaining about being short on agents…”
“Yes, I'm afraid I do know” The Chinese grimaced, trying not to remember all the times when he would go pick Trowa up or take his bloody once-a-year exams and have to listen to the woman threatening him for not using his, so called “abilities”, to help protecting peace.
“She wants you working there you know…” Trowa said quietly and smiled a bit.
“Oh… does she?” Wufei lifted an eyebrow and blew some of his ebony hair away for his eyes.
His husband laughed. “Yes… she always asks me about you… and when am I going to make you get back to your senses and join her…”
“Humph… I bet she doesn't want me now…”
“Of course she does!” Trowa replied indignant “You're still one of the best Fei, sickness or no sickness!”
“Yeah… Well… I'm sorry to disappoint your dear Lady… but I'm rather happy running my bookshop, even though I'm not working there as often as I wish…” He sighed.
“I'm sure your employees are taking care of everything love. You went there last week didn't you? Wasn't everything just fine?”
“Yes it was…”
“Then what's the problem?”
“I guess I'm just bothered by the fact that I'm not needed…”
Trowa sighed, “Oh Fei…” He enveloped his husband in his arms and held him protectively for a while. He knew Wufei had a huge lack of self-esteem problem, and that he simply needed to feel needed, that's why, over the years, Trowa had had to work on his own emotions a bit so he could show Wufei how much he really needed the man, when naturally he would just try to hide it all away, afraid of becoming too vulnerable. “I need you Fei…” he whispered sweetly on his lover's ear, “And I'm going to miss you so while I'm away…” he tightened his hold on the other man for emphasis and they both shuddered imagining the week ahead of them.
“I…” Wufei whispered, “I…” I'm frightened… “I'm going to be fine. We're both gonna be ok, you'll see…” He finished weakly, burring the truth deep inside his heart to look at it later. For now he had to be strong, for Trowa's sake.
“Thank you love…” Trowa nodded and kissed Wufei thoroughly, both, to reassure them and to hide his tears. He trailed a warm slick path with his tongue on Wufei's jaw and cheek and reached his earlobe, licking and biting at it lightly, playing with the tiny earring his lover had there.
Wufei moaned and slid forward for a better fit on his lover's lap. His hands started roaming on Trowa's body to peel off restricting cloth while he slowly rubbed their still restrained erections together.
Trowa grunted and bit a little harder on his husband's ear, faintly bruising the delicate skin. “Oh… Fei…” he moaned loudly and felt his lover's skin crawling with pleasurable Goosebumps, Wufei just loved when Trowa got all vocal.
“Yes… Trowa… keep making these noises…” he said, voice hoarse and breath catching as he lifted his lover's tee shirt.
Trowa half laughed but he drew his breath as a warm mouth enclosed on his sensitive nipples and toyed with them. “Oh gods…” He threw his head back and gasped, the wicked tongue pulling expertly on his nipple ring, keeping him just at the rim of pleasure-pain.
Wufei smiled against his chest and, the moment his mouth released him, Trowa pulled him up for a mind searing kiss. “I love you…” he whispered, catching his breath and starting again on his exploration of that delicate body he'd never get tired of, “I love you and I need you…”
By the time his tongue dipped and played with Wufei's navel, clothes were long gone and the Chinese had his legs wrapped around his waist firmly, the noises he was making left Trowa with no doubts about what his lover wanted. As he looked up Wufei placed the lube on his hands and urged him between his legs, “Please…” he mewled.
Trowa complied and in no time his cock was safely incased inside his lover's sheath. `Yes…' he though, `this is home… this is sin and this is heaven… this is Wufei… how am I going to live without this… without him for six whole days…?' he despaired.
Trowa slowed his already picking pace abruptly and Wufei protested vehemently, “I want this to last…” He offered by means of explanation.
Wufei didn't look pleased but his lusty eyes softened a bit and he complied. Trowa hovered over him and their eyes locked, opening a passage they didn't often use to communicate. Their eyes bared with the heat of their excruciatingly slow love making, they let their emotions flow freely from one to the other and Trowa's pace quickened again.
What they saw on each other's eyes was a mirror of their own feelings, nothing more and nothing less. Under layers of passion and lust lay hidden love, expectation and fear. Yes, they thought, they were both scared and that somehow made it a lighter burden to bare.
Their thoughts were getting blurry and emotions harder to read as climax approached. Trowa's hand snaked down from beside Wufei's head to stroke his cock and before the third stroke his lover was already squirming beneath him, his muscles clenching and unclenching around Trowa's member, making him come with the vision of the Chinese beauty, deep in ecstasy, burned inside his eyelids.
The glistening body, the cooling pearly seed, the shallow quick breaths, the trembling hands as they caressed his body, the golden face, framed by that silky curtain of ebony hair, the swollen and reddened lips, the flushed cheeks and the heavy lidded almond shaped eyes that were almost sinfully hidden by long black lashes, and the sound of his name, trailing endlessly from that perfect mouth as his lover rid the last waves of pleasure.
How many times would he remember this picture during his lonely nights at that far away colony? His heart clenched but he pushed down those thoughts and hid them deep inside his mind. Those were thoughts for later, when he was truly lonely, not for now while his lover was still with him…
Their breath slowed and Trowa got up to get the cloth to clean their essence away. As his soft member slid out of his husbands tight heat he felt a terrible loss and it was as if a piece of his heart had been left glued inside the Shenlong's ex-pilot.
He dragged himself to the bathroom and back and cleaned their mess swiftly. As soon as he was done the dirty cloth was tossed hastily away and Trowa rejoined his lover in bed. Wufei rolled next to him and pressed his body as close to Trowa's as it was physically possible.
“I miss you already…” He whispered, burring his face on the crook of Trowa's neck.
“Yes…” Trowa whispered back brokenly, his arms encircling Wufei and holding him possessively.
As the night passed he felt his lover's breath slow, the beating of his own heart lulling him to sleep.
Trowa however, wasn't able to sleep and his thoughts seemed to be running in circles, “What if his has an attack? What if the new treatment has awful side effects? What if the pain is too much and those painkillers don't kick in? What if they do and he faints in the middle of the street or in a crowded place?” The man was so immerse in thought that he didn't even notice his heart was racing at every new idea his brain came up with.
“Knock it out love” Wufei said sleepily, sounding a bit like a certain American they knew. He lifted his head to rest it on his hand, “It's almost morning and you have yet to close your eyes… did you even blink?” Her asked, smiling and looking down at him sheepishly.
Trowa smiled back faintly and sighed. “I'm sorry… It's just that it worries me to have to leave you alone… I mean, not because you're not able to take care of yourself, it's just that I wish you had someone with you if something should happen…”
“Don't worry Tro… I've already thought about that. I'm going to call Quatre in the morning to ask him if I can stay there for the week”
“Quatre?” Trowa lifted an eyebrow, “But I though Duo and you were best friends?”
“Oh… we are!” Wufei nodded vehemently and Trowa had to bite his lip not to point out how much the American's attitude could be seen on some of Wufei's gestures. The same went the other way around, he thought, Duo was getting more and more like Wufei… but then again, they all showed some signs of the other's personalities, it was only natural, after having known each other for so long it was hard to know just how much of yourself was really you…
“Why are you calling Quatre then?” he asked.
“Because Duo… well… he and Heero are having a few problems… over that “Relena issue”… so I don't think he'll be needing a sick Wufei to increase his list of problems…”
“Hum… I see…” Trowa agreed. “Well, I figure it would be better this way. You could help Quatre and Zechs with their little demon… the gods know they need all the help they can get…”
“Trowa!” Wufei hit his lover on the head playfully. “That was unfair, she's not a demon she is just a small child in need of an education!”
“All right, all right… I apologize; anything but please don't come with one of your speeches about justice again! I've heard them enough to know every word you'll say by heart!”
Wufei's eye's narrowed and he very maturely showed the tip of his pink tongue at his lover, pouting.
“Oh c'mon…” Trowa yawned, “Enough with the sulking…” He unceremoniously pulled Wufei and dropped the Chinese on top of him. Grinning, he kissed the tip of the delicate nose and said, “Now, be a nice lover, be quiet and let me get some sleep…”
“Hey, it's not my fault you didn't sleep when you should. Injustice!”
Trowa winced and then petted his lover on the head, mockingly, “I know, I know… now be a nice husband and let big bad unjust Trowa rest for a couple of hours `k?”
Trowa's eyes were already closing heavily and he barely heard if Wufei answered his teasing. He didn't feel the long wiry fingers tracing his face desperately, as if to memorize it, nor the warm tears that pooled on his chest after a while, neither did he wake up to the miserable sobs that were almost shaking his chest.
When Trowa woke up it was a fine morning, the weather was nice and all the evidence of sadness had been wiped away. He didn't see his lover for a while though…
