They set off early that morning in search for a way to the underworld where many ordeals awaited them.

The airship flew swiftly through the air, the wind strong yet warm. Duo looked over the side in search for new land, Heero by his side. Trowa and Yang also looked over the side to help in the search. Cid piloted the airship crossing every place possible.

"This is crazy..."muttered Heero as they crossed the ocean.

"Heero, don't give up. We still haven't searched everywhere yet. There is so much more to explore."Duo told him.

Heero sighed."I know, I'm sorry Duo. Let's keep looking."

"...Huh? Hey..."muttered Duo looking down to the island below.

"What?Duo did you see something!?"asked Heero.

Duo looked over to Cid. "Cid stop the ship!"

Cid looked up."Huh?"He stopped the airship.

"I heard once that there's a island where there's a well and nothing can reach the bottom! Many people go there to see if it's true. They say below is the underworld. But the well is so small that no one an get there. Not unless they had the key."

"Duo! Why didn't you say this sooner!?"asked Trowa.

Duo laughed slightly."Well... I only thought of it till I saw that Island below."

Heero looked."Cid, land the ship."

"That's Argart. It's a small town....hm... I haven't heard much about it but...."muttered Trowa as they got off the airship.

"Well that's more reason to check it out!"exclaimed Duo.

The group walked into town getting eyed up suspisiously by the few villagers there as they made their way into the center of town where a small, ancient, well was.

Duo ran over to it."This must be it! Trowa give me the Magma key!"Trowa did."Thanks!"Duo sihed and tossed the key in and they all stood in complete silence...waiting.

"Duo are you s--"Heero stopped as the ground began to shake violently.

"whoa!"exclaimed Trowa gripping onto the side of the well to keep himself balanced."What's going on?!"

"Ah!"Duo exclaimed almost falling but Heero held onto him.

The ground soon stopped shaking and the unsteady group stood up. Trowa helped Cid to his feet."What do you suppose that did....?"He asked. Cid shruged."I guess we should board back onto the enterprise and look around."The group nodded in agreement and went back to the airship.

Once they were in the air Duo gasped as he looked at the crevus made in the mountains."That key... did that?"He walked over to the front of the ship to get a better look. Heero followed.

"Cid! Is the enterprise small enough to fit through there?!"asked Trowa.

Cid laughed slightly."Of course!" He flew it over to the crevus and began to decend.

"I can't believe this we're actually going to the underworld... I wonder what it's like down there...?"muttered Duo.

They reached the bottom in afew moments, looking around to see lava everywhere, the heat quite strong but enough for the human body to handle.

"Uh Oh.. I don't think the enterprise can handle the heat too well, we're gonna have to avoid flying over the magma."Cid explained.

Suddenly they heard a sound of a approaching airship. Trowa turned around."The Red Wings!"shouted Heero.

Then huge Dwarven Army tanks approached by ground and began began battling with the approaching Red Wing airships, but with themselves caught in between.

"They have beaten us here."said Yang.

"Who are they fighting?"asked Trowa.

"I'm gonna bust through the line! Hang on!"Cid called to the others.

They all gripped on the side of the airship for support as they were suddenly caught in the fireing.

"She's falling apart!!"yelled Cid gripping the stearing wheel hard trying to keep the ship steady.

"We're going down!"exclaimed Trowa.

Heero held Duo closer to protect him and ducked down. Trowa and Yang ducked down and held on to the airship tightly.

The ship continued to fly, shaking violently. The group being tossed around the deck of the airship until it came to a stop, it hovered lowly to the ground.

Heero and Duo got up first."Duo are you alright?"Duo nodded and spotted Yang and Cid getting up.

"Where's Trowa?"asked Duo."Trowa!"He ran over to the side of the ship, the others followed him. Duo knelt down next to Trowa."Trowa!" He shook his slighlty.

Trowa moved slightly and began to sit up rubbing the back of his head. He groaned slightly and stood up slowly with the help of Duo.

"Is everyone alright?"He asked.

"Yeah, but my baby took a helluva beating. She might go down any minute."Cid mumbled.

"Let's set her down."said Trowa.

Cid lowered the ship the best he could so not to damage it any further.

Trowa and the rest of the group jumped off and looked ahead of them only to see a castle.

"Well at least we ended up in a good spot."said Duo. The rest sighed and shook their heads and headed towards the castle.

As they approached the castle there stood two dwarven men."Rally-ho!"They called to the group, letting them pass into the castle peacefully.

"Rally-ho?"muttered Duo.

"It's the Dwarven meaning for Hello, or whenever they want to greet someone. So I suspect they're not going to hurt us." Heero explained to Duo which nodded in reply.

"We should speak to the king about repairs for our airship. And...their Dark Crystals."said Trowa as they arrived at the throne room doorway. Suddenly a small dwarven girl approached them."I'm Luca. My doll's disappeared. Have you seen them?" The group shook their heads no and the girl continued on her way. The group entered the throne room and Trowa walked towards the Dwarven King kneeling down in respect.

"Rally-ho, King Giott, ruler of the underworld." The king said introducing himself to them.

"Thank you for welcoming us. My name is Trowa."

"State your business."

"We've come in search of the Dark Crystals."

"Like the tohers. But not on the same side."

Heero spoke up."Where are the Dark Crystals? Have they been taken?"

"They took two. Only two remain."

Yang sighed."One step too late."

Giott nodded."Yet, this castle's Crystal is still safe. Out tanks fought them off."

Duo smiled slightly."Yes, we saw your tanks fighting against the airships on our way here."

Giott blinked."Air-ships? The overworld makes incredible things... Hard battle for our tanks. Can you hep us--with your air-ship?"

Cid nodded."We need to repair her first. The bombardment really busted her good."

"We can help fix."

"Ahh, she won't last in the heat of all this lava anyway. For now, I'm gonna make temporary fixes, then fly back to the surface and gather me some Mythril to armor her better." Cid turned to leave.

"Cid!"Trowa called.

"Just button up and relax. I'll be back in a juffy!"

"Be careful, Cid!"Duo called.

Cid laughed."You're not fallin' for me are you Duo?" He then left the room.

Trowa and the rest turned back to Giott."King Giott, the Crystal in the castle--where is it?" asked Trowa.

"In the safest place."replied Giott."Hidden behind my throne."

Yang stepped forward a bit alarmed.

"Yang?"asked Trowa.

"Someone is spying on us..."

Giott's eyes widened"Come out!"

Nothing. The guards searched the room. Nothing still.

"Perhaps it was your imagination."muttered Trowa.

"I definitely sense something ahead." Yang and Giott looked at the scret door which led to the throne room.

"Open the door!"

"Rally!"The guard flipped a switch connected to the torch light, and a scret door opened. The group went in only to hear the door latch shut behind them.

"It's locked!"exclaimed Heero.

Suddenly they heard a voice."Yip-ho-ho! "

Trowa blinked.

"Dolls?" Duo blinked as six dolls appeared in front of them.

The dolls began to dance around them and then blocked the way to the crystal."Guess who? Calbrinas! We're cute! And we're scary! Love to kill! Let's take their heads! Yeah-Yeah! Gift for Golbez. Yip-ho-ho!" The dolls all chanted at the same time.

"D-dolls?! They're talking!?"Duo yelled.

"They're being controlled by Golbez! We have to stop them!" trowa pulled out his sword.

Heero held his lance out and stood in front of Duo."right!" He jumped in the air and came down slshing one of the dolls in half."They're not so tough."

"You wanna bet!" A doll came from behind and grabbed onto Heero's neck.

"Ack!" He struggled violently to get it off but the doll was strangely strong.

"Heero!" Duo pulled out his bow and a arrow and aimed carefully at the Calabrinas which was clutched onto Heero. THUD! The aroow landed into the Calbrinas head and it fell to the ground.

Heero fin ished it off by stabbing it.

Yang bashed into a Calbrina with a claw and tore it to peices.

The rest of the Calbrinas surrounded Trowa which was guarding himself the best he could."Hm..." One lunged forward and Trowa easily kicked it away at the same time stabbing another with his sword. He pulled the sword away and slashed at both Dolls swiftly watching them fall to the ground.

"Is... everyone... alright?" asked Trowa as they regrouped.

"I'm fine." Duo told him."That was...rough..."

Suddenly the doll peices began to gather together and floated into the air with a flash of light a gigantic doll appeared.

"Oh....my...." muttered Duo.

Trowa, Heero and Yang held their weapons out quickly, readying for battle. The doll stepped forward swinging it's arm knocking Heero, Trowa and Yang away.

"Heero! Trowa! Yang!"Duo called as the three fell to the floor.".... Cure2!" A white light came from Duo and surrounded the wounded. The doll walked toward Duo which pulled out his bow and readied an arrow then shot it.It pierced into the doll but not affecting it to well."Ah!" exclaimed Duo ducking as the Doll swung its arm.

Suddenly Heero jumped into the air stabbing his lance through the giant doll's head."Duo! You ok?!"

"Y-Yea!"replied Duo standing up."heero be careful!"

Trowa then ran from the other side stabbing the Calibrinas leg pulling along to cut the leg off. The doll then became unsteady and toppled to the floor."Now!"

Trowa, Heero and Yang, jumped on the dolls back and stabbed into it with their weapons. They jumped off and watched as the doll began to crumble and return back into the six shredded dolls."Owwww! Big bully! But Golbez now knows! He's gonna gettcha-getcha! Golbez!"The dolls eyes went blank and they disappeared.

Trowa blinked and suddenly a voice entered the room."Our paths cross again..." Golbez appeared in the room infront of them.

"Golbez!" Trowa yelled.

"I commend you for finding your way to the underworld. to reward your efforts. I shall tell you why I am collecting the Crystals. The eight Crystals of light and dark are the keys to reacting the Tower of Babil, which leads to the moon. Legend say the moon possesses power beyond our comprehension. I need only one more Crystal to realize my dream. You have been of great aid to my quest. Now prepare for your final reward!" He laughed. Trowa ran to attack but go pushed away by a forcefield."Such is your power? I expected more." He held out his hand."Hold gas!"

The four were captured in a paralizing hold unable to move.

"Dammit! We never even got a chance to attack!"yelled Trowa.

"Ugh..."groaned Duo.

"Duo!"exclaimed Heero.

Yang remained silent.

"Open your eyes... and taste the true terror! Shadow, come forth!" A giant black snake appeared in front of Golbez and faced the paralized group.

Suddenly a black circle enveloped Yang and he collapsed to the ground. The same happened to Heero. Then to Duo.

"Farewell, Trowa."Golbez laughed.

Just as he was about to send the final hit a mist dragon appeared and killed off the shadow.

"Dragon? Shadow....distroyed by mist...." muttered Golbez.

"Y'alright, you can move now!" called a voice as the spell on Trowa lifted.

"That... that.... voice.."Trowa turned around. He gasped, his eyes widened."QUATRE!?"

A blonde ran up to him. The cloths were torn and dirtied. His bangs covered over his blue eyes. He held a black whip in one hand. But... he looked.... older.

"Dah!"Golbez shot a spell at him."Bio!" But Quatre dodged.

"Shiva!" A young womanish creature appeared she spun her wand and shot out icicles at Golbez, then vanished.

"Bolt3!" Golbez's spell crashed down just missing.

Trowa ran in as Golbez's spell was going and sliced him with his sword making his stagger back."Im-Impossible..." He fell to the floor.

Duo, Heero and Yang got up weakly.

"We did it... We've defeated Golbez!"

Duo gasped."Quatre...!"

Quatre, was all Trowa thought. He smiled. He tried his best to hid his tears of happiness."What happened to you?"

"Leviathan took me to the Land of the Summons. A world where all the summoned monsters live. We became friends during my stay. I learned a lot there. I can't use White Magic anymore, but I've grown stronger as a summoner. time flows differently there, so maybe I've aged faster."

"That explains why you look older."Duo muttered.

Heero blinked."Trowa, who is he?"

"The boy we found in Mist."

Yang smiled."Fortune favors us indeed."

"Quatre, we owe you our lives. Thank you." Trowa smiled and wanted to hold the boy to him but hesitated.

"You don't have to thank me. The queen of the Land of Summons told me: A great force is secretly at work. We must confront it together."Quatre explained.

"Alright, let's go back and tell King Giott what has happened!"Trowa told them not taking his eyes once from Quatre. The then turned to leave.

"I....cannot perish!" a voice said from behind. Golbez's body vanished and his hand floated around going towards the crystal.

"THE CRYSTAL!!" yelled Trowa running up to the alter but it was too late and the crystal was taken....
