Shadowed eyes watched as a girl dodged a high kick that had been aimed for her chin, and then elbow her pursuer straight up into the gut. It seemed she was holding her own, but because of sheer number, he knew she would soon fall. Her six attackers fired off barrage after barrage of moves trying to get the young women to slip up. All at once, as if signaled the men backed off.

The figure hidden in the shadows watched with dismay as all of a sudden, the girl reached back at her neck and pulled something out of it, then sluggishly as she looked at it and then back up, she leaped up into the air to dodge of kick, but because of her drugged movements was surprised as a meaty fist collided with her cheek. The girl didn't even feel herself hit the ground.

The shadowed figure watched as the men seemed to congratulate themselves on their catch. "Counting your chickens before they hatch…" He muttered disgustedly, before slinking over to them, and quickly disposing of them. Violet eyes smiled with delight as they surveyed his work. The men were for the most part all collapsed into individual heaps on the cold cement. It was then, when he was sure that no one watched, that he went to the fallen girl's side, and took in her appearance closely for the first time. She seemed to be about 5'6. She was extremely well built from the look of it, and wore a dark navy blue rolled bandana over her forehead, that went around and under her pony tail. The dark hair seemed black in the shade, he noticed as the figure leaned over her, but in the sunlight, was actually deep dark brown, of almost ebony shading. It seemed that the sunlight also danced upon some dark red highlights. Her hair reached to about her shoulder blades, and the style was half up, where as she wore half of her hair up in a pony tail, but also wore some of it down. Her skin was a medium even tone.

Hearing foot steps in the distance though, the figure quickly scooped her up into his arms, grabbed two si that she had dropped next to her, and sprinted away.

As a small amount of light greeted her eyes, the girl opened them, but shut them quickly as the beams of light seemed as though they were trying to burrow down into her skull. She had caught the glimpse of some eyes watching her though, in that brief period of visual contact. One pair was black, and hard, where as the other was light and violet. She felt a small light tap against her cheek, but didn't dare open her eyes, for fear that her captors would know that she was awake. It seemed though that the black at the corners of her eyes was creeping up, and slowly consumed her consciousness. She only heard faint voices in the back.

"Oops…"

"That wouldn't happen if you would just cut the damn thing off Maxwell!" The voice was thick with a Chinese accent.

"Oh but Wufy, how would you pick on me then?"

"Wufei, Maxwell, Wufei! And trust me there are plenty of things I could dig on you about…"

That was all she caught before she could hear no more.

"Saisa! Come her signs are natural again. It is time she comes out of the tank." A raspy old voice said as, a series of buttons all started flashing green at once. Saisa, a man in his middle 30's with light brown hair and a white medic coat, walked to the doctor's aide. After climbing the ladder he reached down into the cylindrical tank and grabbing the girl underneath her arms, easily pulled her out. Another doctor was also standing with Saisa, whom wrapped the almost nude girl in a blanket. Saisa carried her down the steps and was about to lay her on a gurney when the MD stopped him. "No, just take her to her room. She just needs to rest and wake now." Saisa nodded and walked out of the clinic, making his way to her new quarters.

The girl opened her eyes slowly until she saw someone sitting next to her. Flexing her hand quickly to make sure she could move again, without tossing off the blanket she kicked up, aiming for the young mans. As if expecting it though, he held out his arm with a smart block. Sitting up she jumped from the bed, only to realize she still didn't have her complete strength back and started falling towards the person she was trying to knock out! Her mind starting going black as he caught her in his arms.

Amethyst eyes once more opened slowly. "Ah, finally, you're awake. Nice of you to join the living." A man in his middle 30's walked to her side, and helped her to sit up. "My name is Saisa. I'm the nurse that looked after you." His smile seemed warm and inviting enough, but that gave the girl no reason to trust him. "Now, I've given you my name, what if I might ask is yours?"

"Kouryuu." The young woman said, rather suspicious but knowing it was not that big of a deal, if she were all ready captured. "So why exactly did you chase after me. I already paid Zendou if that is why your hear." Upon watching his startled expression she gave an exasperated sigh. "Ok, so I was short a few, but tell him I'll get it too him."

"Rrright… well the reason that you are here will make itself known in all good time. In the mean time though, I'm going to find someone to show you the bathing and locker room areas. Then once you're refreshed he can show you around the base. Just wait a few moments if you would, Kouryuu." And with that he went off to find someone, leaving her to view her immediate surroundings and listen to the conversation taken place outside. "NO DUO! You're in the middle of a training, now go. Thank you Quatre, she's in here."

Kouryuu watched as what seemed like happy go lucky blonde haired blue eyed boy walked into her room. "Hello, I'm Quatre Rabarbra Winner."

"Kouryuu…" She said as she slowly stood to her feet, after tossing off her blanket.

"Here, put this on." Saisa said before tossing a robe over her shoulders. Kouryuu tied it into place, and with a smile from Quatre, and Saisa waving goodbye, they walked on down the cat walk and Saisa was soon out of sight.

Authors Note:

So, I hope you guys enjoyed the first chapter! I should be putting up the second one later on this evening. This is my first Fan Fic. Normally, I just write my own stories but I thought I would play my hand in one.

Side Note:

Kouryuu: means "rain dragon" in Japanese (Might come in to play later on in the fic!)
