Yeah... I got quite many reviews on the first day, thx guys! It encouraged me and reminds me that if I stop and continue later, I'd probably have forgotten half of the story ^^'. So, I hope you enjoy this chapter and review as much as you did before :]. Have fun!

The Miracles of San Juan

Have you ever seen someone eating so fast that you barely registered that there had been food before? This just happened to me. This someone, namely Duo Maxwell, was actually faster than any rubbish chute.

You probably wonder now how I knew his name after he had shouted at me like mad in the bath. Well, it seemed that eating not only calmed him down and brightened up his mind, but it also made him more talkative, in a friendly way.

After I went out of the bathroom to calm myself down from the incredible sight of his naked body, I decided to rest for a few minutes and lay down. My hearing was brilliant and so I would know when he emerged from the bathroom.

After an hour I began to worry if something happened to him, but I definetly didn't came up with the idea that he might have fallen asleep in the bathtub! But there he was, eyes closed, snoring slightly, looking so happy. Oh well, I told myself, there's a first time for everything. So I went over to the sleeping figure and wanted to wake him up, gently. But it seemed that there had to be another first time for he suddenly opened his eyes and before I could think about the reason why he grinned so evilly, he had already pulled me into the tub.

"Hey!!" I screamed in shock before spatting out some water I had swallowed accidently. But before I had time to ask what was wrong, he suddenly pushed my head down under the water. Of course I struggled like mad and took a very deep breath as he finally let me up again.

Before you wonder how it was probably possible to struggle around in a small tub, this tub was pure luxus and very very large. I guess there would have been space for two extra people.

Anyway, as soon as I had spat out the remaining water, I was confronted with the laughing face of Duo. I thought he would collaps at any moment for he laughed so hard that he had to hold onto the tub edge. But I was happy. Laughing about someone else was better than shouting in anger.

Finally out of breath, he whiped away his tears while giggling before he finally looked at me with a happy expression.

"Oh, that was SOOO good." He he told me before holding a hand over his mouth to keep back his laughs as I crawled out of the bathtub. I looked like a duck, or something worse. And my shirt and shorts hung down lazily, water dripping down from everywhere. My hair blocked some of my view for it hung down in front of my eyes.

"I guess you're feeling better." I stated before giving some of my bangs out of the view. He nodded and got out of the tub, making me blush and I quickly turned around, emberassed, somehow. A bit. Maybe. Or not. Maybe not. Probably not. Not really. Not at all. Actually I glanced back, just a little bit, to see a bit of his naked form, cursing myself inwardly for my curiousness.

Too bad that I was caught like a kid with his hand in the cookie jar and he grinned at me as our gazes met for just a second. Blushing even redder, I turned around and told myself not to look at him again, as long as he was naked at least.

"Whoa, I never knew you guys could turn fish into such delicious things!! It's even better than raw fish." Duo brought out happily before swallowing another fried fish in one piece. I've wondered, since the first time he did that, why he didn't chew. And since my brain and my body went different ways again, I simply asked, long before my mind interfered.

"Why don't you chew the food? I guess it would be healthier. And easier." He looked at me in a strange way before answering.

"What does that mean?" Duo stopped eating and stared at me. I winced silently before stammering.

"Well, uh.. I didn't … I didn't want to be rude… or.. something…"

"No, I mean, what does to chew mean?" I nearly fell off the chair as he asked that. Why didn't he knew?

"Well…." I thought about it. The best way was to show him. And I did just that as I took a piece of fish and put it into my mouth. He looked at me confused and quickly lost his patience asI chewed on the meat. It was really delicious.

"Hey, stop eating around! What does that word mean?!!" He shouted again. Oh, not good,definetly not good.

"I just showed you."

"Hu?" That cute expression of confusion made me smile and I took another piece, chewing it to show him.

"Oh, that's chewing?" He asked. And I nodded. My mind suddenly started to wonder why he was changing moods so often. And I wished that I wouldn't have for my mouth worked without me knowing.

"Duo, why are you so strange? I mean, friendly and calm now, and at the next moment unfriendly and … wild." I ducked right after my mouth finally closed, afraid that I have pissed him off. But well, he stayed calm.

"You wanna know why, hu?" He said questioning while playing with his dessert. Then, he suddenly grinned and before I knew what had happened, I had the cake in my face, and laughing, he stood up and dodged my tries to hit him with some fish.

"I'll never gonna tell ya!!" He shouted while ducking to avoid a piece of fish. I stopped throwing and whiped some cake from my face before sighing.He stood up again and looked at me.

"What's wrong? Got cake in your eye?" He smiled. But I didn't smile back. It seemed as if all energy had left my body and I sank down onto my chair, seeing him coming towards me while I looked straight ahead.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He suddenly had this really strange look of - worry in his eyes. But it changed for just a second, a sudden glint in them , just lightly. And the next thing I knew was that the cake was replaced by something wet.

He was licking my face!! I backed away in shock as the realization hit me and stared at him. And he came closer again and continued, and I shuddered. It was so pleasant, but at the same time, I knew it had to stop. Certain parts of me were…. Reacting, and I didn't want to emerass myself,so I pushed him away, slightly. I expected him to pout or even shout, but he looked at me, confused, asking.

"Why are you stopping me if you want this yourself?" He asked me. And I wondered where he exactly grew up and what the heck had happened in his past that he was not ashamed of ANYTHING. And I told myself not to think anymore.

"Why do you have no shame?" I cursed my mouth and looked at Duo, afraid that he would be angry now or run away. But he stayed calm again and smiled, coming up behind me and started to kiss my neck.

"Stop, Duo." I nearly warned.

"Why?" He asked." You want this. I can smell it." He grinned. I didn't like that grin. It made me feel unsure. Unsure of how much more of this I could bear without losing control over me completely. He made me stand up and guided me over to the bed, sitting down and pulling me onto his lap before starting to kiss around the are of my neck again.

"I … told you to stop." I tried to sound very, very serious, I really did. But well, it sounded very desperate instead. Distraction was the one and only thing I needed right now.

"Why are you so shameless, Duo?" I asked again. He stopped kissing for a moment before answering.

"Curious little human." It made me blink and I loosened his grip to turn around,still sitting on his lap.

"Human?" Why was he calling me a human? Strange it was. I mean, no one calls another one human exept he was not human.

"You are human as well, aren't you?" I stated, looking into his eyes.

"Uh…" He stammered. And I got nervous. Miracle or not,I didn't feel comfortable with something not-human like sitting in front of me. But I didn't show it, too visible, I hope.

"Well… you look like a human. Why aren't you one? Or are you one? Or not? Or what are you that you say you're not human?" No sense I made I guess. But he understood me already.

"Well, I've never been a good liar." He sighed.

"And that means?" I asked him.

"Well, I don't wanna tell you. For now, leave it like that that you know I'm not normal. Okay? Maybe, maybe I'll show you someday, tell you." He finally brought out. It didn't satisfy me, but well, it was better than nothing. There was just one other question left.

"Are you dangerous in some way??" I blurted out.

"No,definetly not for you." He smiled. An honest smile.It was the first real smile he'd given me `til now. And still, I was wondering why his habits had changed so much, and cursed myself for forgetting not to think anymore right now.

"Why did you kiss me on the neck before, why did you… umm… clean my face?" Short silence, then he looked at me, straight into my eyes, before answering. An answer that made me fall off him.

"It's because I fell in love with you."
