“I'm worried about him Trowa,” Quatre whispered looking through the small door window.

“I know you are, we all are,” Trowa replied.

“ I just can't believe the strong spirit we met during the war has been reduced to this.”

“ We all have our breaking point, Quatre. We have to accept that maybe Heero was never that mentally stable to begin with,” Trowa stated sadly.

“I refuse to believe what you just said. I knew him, YOU knew him! How could you say a thing like that?” Quatre hissed.

“ Calm down ok! What else is there to say here?” trowa spit back.

“Anything! You can comment on the weather for all I care but I don't want to hear you utter those words again.”

 

They both looked into Heero's room as he continued to sit staring at the window with dead eyes. He rocked slowly back and forth as his hands rubbed the bandages over his wrists.

 

“Tell me something Quatre, if he's not insane then why would he do THAT to himself”

 

“For love, I suppose. Instead of crying he shows his love for Duo through blood. I didn't think he would take the news THAT badly Trowa. If I had only known.” Quatre whimpered with unshed tears in his eyes. Trowa took him in his arms as he began to weep uncontrollably.

 

Trowa glanced back into the room to Heero's distant eyes and hollowed body and wondered one thing. Why?
