Chapter 25

Fight of Love! Upgrade to Warrior!

Back in Digital life in a dark clouded field Blackout came through the

portal carrying Bijou in her dazed state unable to wake up. Boss came

out after him and the portal closed. As he held out his paw his Black

Diamond axe appeared-

Boss: Get back here!

Blackout: Not on your life, you have to catch me.

Boss: I'll do more than that if you hurt Bijou.

Blackout: Oh a maiden like her I couldn't tarnish but the "bomb" program that's set to go off in 50 hours might. Even if my master and

I perish so will you and the girl, kind of romantic don't ya think.

Boss: Don't touch her, not now, not ever!

As he charges in Blackout puts Bijou aside and rams into him but he's

able to slash through him and is defeated.

Boss: Good riddens, huh?

Just then he saw from inside Blackout's former body was a ball of

white light and it transformed into a white hamster with grey diamond

marks

Boss: Who are you?

Hamster: I'm Zack, my human and I had playing this game when some guy named Lancor trapped us in this horrible place. He tied my Julie to

the trunk of that tree over there and turned me into that eyesore you

call Blackout. When you defeated him I was freed, please forgive me, I

honestly had no control of him when he did all that bad stuff.

Boss: its okay, at least he's gone now, and I can help Julie too.

Zack: You can? Thank you.

Meanwhile back in the real world T.W had went to Laura and Hamtaro's

house and into their room he quickly banged on the cage which

frightened Hamtaro awake.

Hamtaro: What's all the noise about?

T.W: I'm sorry but we have and emergency! We have to wake Laura up.

Hamtaro: But back here she can't understand us.

T.W: I've got an idea just wake her up and get her to the desk.

Hamtaro: Ok I'll try.

So while Hamtaro tries to wake Laura, T.W took a sheet of paper and

while found it hard to use a human-sized pencil wrote out a message.

T.W: I sure hope we can get to them before time runs out.

Meanwhile back in Digital life-

Zack: That's Julie, can you free her?

Boss: Sure, stand back.

As Zack backed away Boss carefully used his axe to break the shackles

that bound her to the tree and was freed. She groggily opened her eyes

to see her Zack in front of her.

Julie: Zack it's you, thanks for saving me.

(Thinking)

Zack: It wasn't me Julie, it was a protector.

Soon after Boss ran back to Bijou who was still in a dazed state-

Boss: Bijou?

He starts to shake her but she won't wake up.

Boss: Come on Bijou wake up, you just have to wake up!

Meanwhile back in Laura's room after much carousing Hamtaro finally woke Laura who seemed annoyed.

Laura: What is it Hamtaro?

He led her over to the desk and saw T.W's message-

"Bijou and Boss are in trouble! Enter the game again and send Maria

an e-mail about the situation."

T.W

Laura: Oh no! It won't be long before the "bomb" program is

unleashed.

She quickly sends an e-mail to Maria and with Hamtaro logged on again, T.W was outside the house and logged on as well.

Back at Maria's house Maria was sleeping peacefully unaware of what

was going on, we enter her dream which was about the day she bought

Digital life.

We flashback to a few days ago and Maria was on the computer in her

room.

Maria: This looks like a fun game; it's supposed to be a great sense

of realism.

After she went through the registration she and had her VR headset on logged into the game, he was in front of her cyber-home in Cyprus town, a root town that just opened.

Maria: This looks just like my house in the real world.

Soon she met her fairy guide Rakura traveled around the town and out
into the wide world ahead, as they crossed a bridge they were cornered by
a monster.

Maria: What is that?

Rakura: It's a segren, a dragon demon. Use a card-

Maria: Okay, got it!

She slashes a card-

Maria: Data modify, attack enemy!

It instantly defeated it and she collected the cards she won.

Maria: Well that wasn't so hard.

Just then a mammoth monster appeared.

Maria: What's that?!

Rakura: It's a field boss!

Her C.R.A.P-C scanned it-

MSU

Name: Gangal

Level: 34

Type: Darkness

Maria: That guy's too strong for us, but we won't be able to escape

in time.

It seemed this was it when just then something zipped by them-

Maria: Who was that?

A mysterious stranger in a ninja outfit threw a spray of stars

defeating him.

Ninja: You okay?

Maria: I think so. But who are you?

Ninja: Just some highly trained ninja.

Maria: Ninja huh?

Ninja: Yes. And we uphold the order and law of this game. So if anyone

causes trouble, we'll be there.

Maria: Wow. That sounds great. Is there anyway I can join?

Ninja: Well... Um, that is highly unlikely. We hardly accept new members.

But, we might make an exception. Since you had a little accident just

now with the boss's that wasn't supposed to be here.

Maria: What?

Ninja: That boss isn't supposed to be out here. Someone bad must've led

it here on purpose to take out newbie's. Since you were here, we can

make it up to you. So why don't you follow me through this portal.

He opens up some portal and enters.

Maria also enters-

That's when she started her training under the highly ranked ninja

school. She became one of the officials for the Game Master.

Maria wakes up.

Maria: Uhh... Huh? *sees no Bijou in her cage* Ah! Bijou! *she goes to

her cage to find no Bijou* Oh no. Bijou! Where are you?

She looks around the room and doesn't find her. Then her C.R.A.P-C-

flashes, for she has E-Mail.

Maria: Who would be sending me e-mail at this time?

She checks it out and reads that it's from his friends.

(Gasps)

Maria: Oh no. I gotta go save her!

She turns on her computer and logs into the game.

Meanwhile in the dark cloudy field Boss was still trying to wake Bijou-

Boss: Bijou you have wake up, can't you hear me?

Just then Hamtaro, T.W and Raishiuko arrived on the scene-

Hamtaro: Hold on guys we're coming!

Soon after T.W took out his first aid kit and took out a burlap pouch

of dried herbs.

T.W: Can someone hand me the apple cider in my backpack?

Hamtaro: I got it T.

T.W: Thanks.

He takes out a paper cup and sprinkles some of the dried herbs in, then

he poured in the cider and stirred it up/

Boss: What will this do?

T.W: The dried herbs mixed with the cider is a potion I thought up, it

also has caffeine and caffeine induces an active body, so it should help

her wake up.

He then takes it up to Bijou's mouth and pours it in, soon after she

started to twitch and her eyes opened.

Bijou: What happened? Where am I?

T.W: You're back in the game, Blackout tricked you but Boss defeated

him. It turns out Blackout was really a hamster being possessed with

evil powers but he's now back with his human and everything worked out,

Bijou: That's good, thanks everyone.

Raishiuko: Well we better get out of here, the bomb program goes off.

Just then they saw Maria coming towards them-

Maria: I just got your message, is everything alright?

Soon after they explained the situation-

Maria: So that's what happened? I'm glad you're alright now.

Raishiuko: Well it's late we better log off now.

Maria: I'm afraid we can't.

T.W: What do you mean "we can't?

Maria: I'm afraid when we shut the servers down anyone that would

still be inside the game can't log out. But we can take shelter at the

System administrator base. I'll get a portal started.

She presses some buttons on her C.R.A.P-C-, and a portal appears.

Everyone enters it. They are warped to some room in some highly tech room.

Maria: Okay. Here we are at HQ.

Hamtaro: Hold on. Where'd Boss and Bijou go?

T.W: And Julie and Zack. Where'd they go?

Raishiuko: But weren't they in the portal with us?

Maria: Oh no.

Man: Hey you!

A man comes in.

Man: Just how did you kids managed to get into here? Only authorized

personnel are allowed here.

Maria: Greg. It's me, Maria. I work here remember.

Greg: Maria? Oh sorry, didn't recognize you without your ninja outfit.
But who are these people? Don't they know that they're not supposed to
be in the game?

Maria: I know. But unfortunately some emergency occurred and they had to
come in here to find someone. I'm having them stay here until the Bomb
program goes off.

Raishiuko: What do you mean?

Maria: I'm going back out there to find Bijou and the others. I don't
know where they are, so I'm going to find them.

Greg: Maria. You mustn't go out now.

Maria: Why not? I'm part of this organization; I have every right to do
whatever.

Greg: But it's too dangerous now. We just got word from the Game Master

to reduce the countdown by some hours.

Maria: By how much?

Greg: Well...We only have one hour now.

Maria: What!?

Hamtaro: One hour. That's too short.

Greg: He figured that it just might be too long for the program to go.
Besides, we'd figure that no one would come into the game so he
shortened the time.

Maria: I can't believe it! My little Bijou is out there somewhere because of some reason, and now you tell me that the game's going to blow!?

Greg: Argh.

Raishiuko: Maria, where're you going?

Maria: I'm going to go find my hamster! And no one's gonna stop me!

She begins to push buttons to open a portal but nothing happens.

Maria: You shut down the portal system!

Greg: Well we just did.

Maria: Errr. Then I'll just use the one way portal then!

Greg: You mean the original? No wait!

He goes after Maria.

Hamtaro: Wait up!

Meanwhile....Boss is warped to some canyon.

Boss: Uh. Where is everyone? Eh... Hello! *no one* weird, I thought we're heading to that base....

He walks forward and he stops and gasps. He sees himself, only in evil

form.

Boss: Whoa, another me. Are you my lost brother or something?

The fake Boss creates a dark axe and slashes at Boss, missing of course.

Boss: Whoa! What is this?

The fake Boss slashes a few times, missing of course, then the fake stops and hears something, then he turns into a shadow and disappears.

Boss: Where'd he go?

Meanwhile... With Bijou, thinking she heard her owner's voice is left wondering where she is.

Bijou: Maria! Where are you?

A shadow sneaks up behind her and forms into the fake Boss before her-

Bijou: Boss it's you. I was so worried.

The fake takes out a dark axe-

Bijou: Uh Boss? Is something the matter?

The fake attacks Bijou, who could barely avoid.

Bijou: What are you doing? Why are you attacking me?

After a bit, a fake Bijou appears.

Bijou: What is this? Are you my twin sister?

Both fakes attack.

Bijou: (Those aren't real. Meaning Boss is somewhere else.)

She is under attack more, and she screams.

Meanwhile we find Boss again.

Boss: That was Bijou. Hold on Bijou, I'll save you!

He runs off. Meanwhile we find Zack and Julie fighting copies of them.

Zack: First day back again I see myself in a way I never thought possible.

Julie: Keep on fighting. They can't be the same as us.

Zack: Hope the others are okay.

They take out more copies-

Meanwhile...Back at HQ. Maria is now in the portal room.

Greg: Please Miss Maria, you can't go out there. You might be deleted

since you won't be able to log out, and who knows if there's a shelter

by where you'll be landing.

Maria: I'm taking my chances. *puts up Ninja hood* I will do what I

must do.

She activates the portal after setting the settings.

Greg: Oh do be careful then.

Maria is about to enter the portal when.

Hamtaro: Maria please don't go

She stops.

Maria: I'm sorry you guys, but you can't come with me.

Hamtaro: Please don't go.

Maria: But Bijou is out there. I have to save my friend.

Hamtaro: Yes. But the others are out there. If you go, we'd be losing

more people.

Maria: I don't care.

T.W: There might be another way you know. Maybe you can try and get

contact with them. Maybe point them to the nearest shelter. Then they can

go there until the bomb goes off.

Hamtaro: He's right. So please Maria?

After a bit....Maria: Greg, get the communication systems up. I want to try and make

contact. And get a full visual on them right away.

Greg: Yes ma'am!

He leaves the place. Maria steps down as the portal disappears.

Raishiuko: Thanks Maria.

Maria: All right. Let's go.

They head off after Greg.

Meanwhile...Bijou is cornered by her fake, and the fake Boss. They are

about to strike when...

Boss: Hey ugly copies! *Boss appears* Touch a hair on her and you'll be

sorry you were digitized!

Bijou: It is Boss!

The fake Boss and Bijou begin to fight Boss. Boss does his best into

this fight, and is winning.

Bijou: My hero.... Did I say that?

Boss beats up the fakes. Bijou is in some "My Hero moment" when a

shadow pulls her into a hole.

Boss: That takes care of that. *sees no Bijou* huh? Bijou, where'd you go, Bijou!

Below the cliffs, the dark hole lets out Bijou into some clearing. She

sees some shadowy thing on the ground in front of her.

Bijou: Now what? What is that thing?

Meanwhile....Zack and Julie are running away from the many copies of

themselves. They reach the edge of a cliff.

Zack: Oh no. This is not good.

Julie: Looks like the only thing we can do is make a jump for it.

Zack: Jump? But I can't jump that far. I'm only a tiny hamster. I can't

even jump over an apple. Or at least I think I can't.

Julie: Well then, *grabs him and stuffs him in a pocket* just hang on

to this then! Hang on! *slashes Speed card* Here we go!

She goes really fast and jumps very far. The copies act dumb and jump

too. But they don't make it. Julie makes the complete jump.

Zack: Eeeh. That was freaky.

Julie: This place gets even creepier than ever. We better find us a

shelter and quick.

Zack: Shouldn't we be looking for the others first?

Julie: Good idea. Luckily this tractor I bought when we started playing

should help us. *she checks it* Over there!

Zack: Then let's go!

Julie runs off, Zack is still in her pocket.

Meanwhile back with the others at HQ…

Maria: Get anything?

Greg: We're still looking. We've looked all over but still nothing so far.

Maria: Keep looking.

Raishiuko: You know. How the heck did they not warp to where ever we
went?

Greg: Probably a glitch in the program. Or someone might have switched the

location for those players.

T.W: Who would do that?

Maria: Probably Lancor. If he did this, then he'll pay.

Hamtaro: But he's already going to pay right? Isn't he gonna be gone

with the bomb?

Maria: Yes. But I want to take him down myself.

Greg: Hey I think I'm getting a visual.

They see Bijou in her area.

Hamtaro: There he is!

Maria: Do we have contact yet?

Greg: Not yet, just visual.

T.W: But where's Boss?

Back with Bijou, many more shadows come into the giant shadow in front
of her. They then form some giant shadow creature. It tries to smash
her. But she gets out of the way.

Bijou: What is this thing?

The creature unleashes shadow darts at her. She gets hit.

Boss: Hang in there Bijou!

He slides down some edge.

Bijou: Boss you came to rescue me!

Boss: No time for talk, we better take this thing down, whatever it is.

Boss begins to fight the beast.

Back with the others-

Maria: Oh no. It's the Shadow Beast.

Hamtaro: What's that?

Raishiuko uses her MSU.

MSU: Shadow Beast, level 99, Type: Unknown

Greg: This creature is supposively one of strongest bosses we know of
in the game. Only highly specialized fighters can actually stop a beast
like this.

Maria: I don't think they will be able to stop this thing.

T.W: Well what can we do?

Maria: How much time do we have?

Greg: Half an hour.

Maria: That's no good. We have to do something now!

Greg: Too late. We just turn off all possible teleportation methods.

I'm very sorry Maria.

Maria: *sigh* its okay.

Hamtaro: Looks like they're on their own until we get to them by

contact.

Maria: I'll get to full work on that. Greg, you done your job, just rest now

Greg: Yes ma'am!

He walks away feeling quite guilty.

Greg: (She has become a very strong and responsible ninja. It's a good

thing I found her.)

Meanwhile Boss is losing the fight. He can't leave one scratch on the
monster.

Boss: He's…too…much.

The creature attacks him again. It knocks him near Bijou.

Bijou: No Boss!

The Shadow Beast gets a bit closer. It strikes Shadow Darts at Boss-

Bijou: Oh no!

Boss hears something get hit, he opens his eyes and sees Bijou hugging

him and she got hit by the darts.

Boss: No Bijou! *turns her over* you didn't have to do that.

Bijou: I couldn't let you suffer like that. You've done enough. Boss: But what about you?

Bijou: I'll be fine as long as you're here.

Boss: I won't let anything happen to you.

She falls unconscious. The Shadow Beast is about to strike again when

Zack and Julie appear and shoots Stun Beams at it. They are holding it

there.

Julie: Hurry, get away!

Zack: Now's your chance to go! Quickly head for the Emergency Shelter on the
hill to the north, if you go now, you'll make it.

Boss: But what about you?

Zack: It's okay. We'll be okay.

Boss: But the bomb.

Zack: Even if we don't make it, at least we were able to make sure

something was right. At least I was able to do one thing for you; after all

I've done to you, and your loved one.

Boss: But I...

Zack: I'm glad you have someone to love. It's her you are able to fight
on strong like this. You do this for your friends, and her.

After a bit-

Boss: Thank you.

Julie: I don't think we can hold on here.

Zack: Go already!

Boss carries Bijou in his paws and heads up north. He turns back to see

Zack and Julie still there, and then he continues.

Everyone is watching the entire thing on screen.

Hamtaro: its Boss and Bijou!

Maria: He's heading up north. This is a good thing. That's where one of
our emergency shelters is.

Raishiuko: Do you think they'll make it?

They look at the clock. It shows 10 minutes.

Maria: Let's just hope now.

Hamtaro: Come on Boss! Don't give up now!

Boss is still continuing northward.

Boss: Don't worry Bijou. We're almost there.

All of a sudden, rocks fall from nowhere and block their path.

Boss: Oh great! What a perfect time to have a road blockage. *he sets
Bijou down on his hat* Hang on Bijou. I'm busting down the wall!
He charges at the wall with his axe. He slashes it a few times but no
ice.

Then he slashes a Power-Up card to increase his strength. He

destroys the road block.

Boss: Yes!

Then he sees in horror as more rocks fall and cover up Bijou.

Boss: Noooo!!!!

He goes to the rocks and tries to smash them. But he used up his card

already. So his attacks aren't working.

Boss: I will not lose Bijou to a stupid game!

Try as he might, he still can't bust it, Boss stops and pants and forms tears. He starts to remember moments when he was with Bijou.

All the good times he made her happy. Like with the rainbow and the museum. And
the boat incident he had, and including his first kiss with Bijou at

Madeen's place. Boss gets out of this and gets back to hacking the rocks.

Boss: No matter what happens, I will not let you down Bijou! I'm gonna

set you free!

Back with the others-

Hamtaro: Come on Boss! Free Bijou!

Raishiuko: I know I don't know you well, but don't give in!

T.W: You the man B-man! Fight the power!

Maria: (He's persistent. He'll do anything for her. *shows Boss hacking
again and back to her* I see that his love for my little Bijou is very
great. He won't give in to make her feel safe. *shows him again and
back* I see why she looks up to him, so strong, so brave. If only I had a
chance to know him better. (Then maybe)

Then it shows Boss glowing.

Boss: Uhh….What's going on?

Everyone back at HQ is shocked too. Boss glows for a bit, and then he gets
new armor.

He gets the kind of armor Warriors use.

Boss: What just happened?

C.R.A.P-C-: Secret Class up! Now Warrior Class!

Boss: Secret class?

At HQ-

Hamtaro: What just happened?

Maria: He became one of the secret classes, said to be better than all
normal classes. When a fighter turns into a warrior, he possesses great
strength. More powerful, even at a low level. He knows many techniques
and they are very powerful.

Raishiuko: (Boss became one kind of the classes like I had became for a while. Does this mean that they can be unlocked by simple means of special thought?)

Back with Boss, he takes his axe, which is now the Grand Shadow Axe, and smashes the rocks into dust. Everyone at HQ is amazed. Bijou is unharmed, as she is being shielded by her guardian spirit, Madeen. Boss picks her up.

Boss: Thank you Madeen.

Madeen disappears. Now Boss makes a mad sprint north again.

Maria: Only two minutes left. Not much time left.

Hamtaro: Look at him go.

Boss is literally reaching high speeds. He sees the shelter entrance, in a cave.

Boss: There it is! Hold on Bijou I'm almost there!

At HQ-

Maria: One minute. They're not gonna make it.

Hamtaro: Yes they are.

Boss is nearly there. 30 seconds remain. Boss is recapping his moments

again. 15 seconds, he remembers his friends. 10, his best friend T.W in mind-

5…4…3…2…1…-

Boss makes it inside, the door shuts behind him.

Hamtaro: They made it!

Outside, the air begins to turn red as a giant explosion in the sky occurs, and a large shockwave goes throughout the entire game. Many BA men
who were stuck inside are destroyed.

Five minutes later...the doors open to sunshine. Boss is holding on

tight to Bijou. He opens his eyes and sees the sunshine.

Boss: Zack. Thank you. If it weren't for you, we wouldn't have made it.

I'm sorry you had to go.

Bijou wakes up.

Boss: Bijou, you're okay.

Bijou: Boss. What happened?

He carries her to the door. Everything is normal.

Bijou: I thought I never see the sunshine again.

Boss: I thought I wouldn't be able to see you again after what happened

earlier.

Bijou: Why would you say that? I'm always with you. No matter where you

are or where I am. I'll be with you, in spirit.

Boss: Oh Bijou.

Bijou: Thank you for being there for me, and saving me many times.

He sets her down.

Boss: You gonna be okay?

Bijou: I'll be okay.

They look at the sun.

Bijou: You know Boss. I think that many times in my life, if you

wouldn't be there for me, I might not be living. You came to my rescue many

times, because you love me.

Boss: Yes.

Bijou: I guess its true then. *Boss looks at her* My heart tells me to
find one who is the one to always look after me, and make sure nothing
bad happens. I think you're the one.

Boss blushes a bit, but not in his usual way.

Bijou: I think what I'm saying is that....well......I love you
and...You're the one.

Boss: Bijou...

After a bit, they kiss on the lips.

At HQ, they get the monitors working and they see B+B alright, and

kissing.

Hamtaro: They're okay!

T.W: Uh Maria, I think you might want to turn the visual off.

Raishiuko: Aww. That's so romantic, a wild hamster in love with a house
hamster.

Maria: (He's definitely the one.)

Greg: Miss Maria! *he comes in* All servers are online! We can start

bringing back people into the game. Also, we reactivated everything that

we need to run the game.

Maria: Cool.

Hamtaro: Let's go see Boss and Bijou you guys!

T.W: Oh yeah! But before we do*he takes out a camera and takes a
picture of B+B kissing on screen. It comes out clear*

Raishiuko: Let's go.

Back with B+B They finish kissing and look at the sunrise. Then the
others come....

Meanwhile…in some dark and creepy place...we find a capsule with some

kind of shield. It goes away and the capsule opens. A man come out, it

is Lancor! He has survived the Bomb.

Lancor: If those fools think they can destroy me. Then they have an all
new game ahead. Without their little Bomb, I'm free to do
whatever I please...But the time to strike will be sooner than they think....Ha ha ha ha ha!
