CHAPTER EIGHT: FURRY INTRUDER

 

Alucard woke up the next night pressed between the wall and Seras. He gave a small smile at how easily he had gotten her in bed with him. He thought he might have some fun with her before he let her go, so he tightened his arm around her waist. Giving a fake moan like he was still asleep, he waited to see if Seras would wake up. His smile widened as he felt her stretch out, announcing that he had succeeded in waking her up. He almost laughed out loud but caught himself, before he could reveal that he was awake. He felt Seras start to squirm around, trying to free herself of his 'asleep' hold on her waist.

 

He shut his eyes, making his breath even so he wouldn't give himself away. He was happy that his face was behind her head, because no matter how hard he tried he couldn't stop himself from smiling.

 

Seras had finally stopped moving and was now tapping her foot in the air as she waited for Alucard to wake up, not wanting to wake him up herself in fear of the punishment she might receive. She sucked in a large breath as she felt him nuzzling his face into her hair. She wondered what he was dreaming, thinking it must be good for him to keep his hold on her.

 

Suddenly Seras was pulled off of the mattress, too stunned to even scream as she felt herself go up and over as her Master seemed to be rolling over. And with her in tow. Seras opened her eyes only to be confronted with the wall. She decided that it was enough; she was going to wake her Master even if she got in trouble. She was no one's possession for sleep aid. She could feel that his hold on her waist had loosened as she rolled over; thinking that now was her chance to wake him up.

 

Alucard's mind was screaming in laughter after he had supposedly rolled over with Seras, faking like he was still asleep. He loosened his hold on her waist, knowing that she couldn't get anywhere being pinned to the wall. He felt her start to shift and roll to face him, so he closed his eyes relaxing his face and acted as if he where still asleep.

 

As Seras rolled around, coming face to face with Alucard, her face softened as she saw that he was still asleep. She had never known anyone that could roll in their sleep, especially with someone else in their grasp. She gave a small sigh, deciding to let him sleep a little longer as her eyes took in his face. It had been almost a year since she had been made into a vampire, and she was remembering the first time she had seen Alucard. He had been a vision in red and black. She had been too scared at the moment to really notice how handsome he was, but when he had held her, making sure that she wanted what he offered, she had felt an attraction to him.

 

 

Seras' eyes scanned his sleeping face, memorizing it in every detail. She didn't know if she actually loved her Master but she did know that she thought him sexy in a dark way. He looked to be a few years older than her in mortal time, but she knew him to actually be a whole lot older than her in reality. She gave another sigh, knowing that he didn't have any kind of romantic intentions for her. He seemed to be obsessed with Integra; they had history and Seras really couldn't compete with that.

 

Seras thought back to when her Master had first offered her his blood to be free of the connections she had to him. She hadn't taken it, knowing that if she did she would be a true vampire and any chance of still having links to her humanity would be gone. She hated to admit it but she knew that she was a burden to Alucard. But she just couldn't let go of her past life that easily. She couldn't forget her father or her long dead friends so easily. And she knew that it disgusted Alucard and that he thought her weak because of it, but she refused to let it go. It had made her who she was.

 

Alucard could feel Seras' breathe blow onto his face and he wondered what she was doing. He had thought that she was going to wake him, not stare at him. He continued to feign sleep as he took a look into her thoughts, though not so deep that she could feel him. He was met with visions of humans and of the night he had first met his Police Girl. He felt disgusted and quickly pulled away from her mind, wondering how she could think of humans so early in the night. He decided that after he mated with her he would have to do something about her soft spot for the slow humans.

 

He felt the moon rise higher in the night sky and decided that if she wasn't going to wake him up and spoil his fun, then he would have to 'wake up' on his own. Besides, her scent was overwhelming him. He was so close to her and he really didn't want to attack her; at least, not that moment. He opened his eyes, quickly giving a smile as he saw that even though her eyes met his she was deep in thought. He gave a small laugh, bringing her out of thought.

 

Seras, lost in her thoughts, snapped out of it quickly when she heard a noise come from her Master. As soon as her eyes came back into focus she pulled her head back in surprise. She felt like a complete idiot when she felt her head come in contact with the wall behind her, making her eyes squeeze shut as she pulled a hand free and rubbed the back of her head.

 

Alucard couldn't help himself. He started to laugh, thinking how clumsy Police Girl could be at times. He finally stopped laughing when he felt a glare coming his way. He immediately turned serious as he leaned up and looked around, acting like he was just noticing the way they where lying. He then returned his eyes to Seras' face, which was now a light shade of pink thanks to her blushing. He kept his face serious as he asked

 

"Police Girl?" Seras snapped out of her embarrassment, asking in a very serous voice

 

"What is it Master?"

 

It took almost every bit of strength Alucard had to keep his face straight, as he said in a deep voice

 

 

"Did you roll over me? I could have sworn you were on the outer edge of the bed this morning."

 

Seras narrowed her eyes in anger at how her Master was teasing her as if he'd done nothing. She replied

 

"I was Master. You were the one that decided to roll over, and you took me with you."

 

Alucard gave her a puzzled look as he said "I do not roll over in my sleep, Police Girl."

 

By this time Seras was royally pissed off. How could he accuse her of something like that so early in the night?! She calmed herself down as she said

 

"I am not calling you a liar Master, but that is what happened. So if you could please let me off this bed."

 

Alucard let her comment fly by as he sat up, sliding his legs off of the edge of the bed. He just sat there watching as Seras crawled over next to him, sliding her own feet into some ridiculous looking slippers.

 

Seras felt herself relax when her Master didn't yell at her for what she had said. And when he sat up she had quickly scrambled to the side, putting on her slippers in the dark. Now with that done, she stood, fully intending on going up to the upper level of the house even if she couldn't see that well.

 

Alucard watched Seras get off of the bed, thinking it might be amusing to watch her stumble around in the dark for a while.

 

Both Alucard and Seras' heads snapped up, eyes on the ceiling, when they heard some strange sounds above. Alucard quickly got up and, being able to see in the dark, he found his boots, pulling one on then the other. He then immediately floated through the ceiling and into the kitchen above, leaving Seras to stumble around in the dark alone looking for the stairs.

 

Seras gave a sigh of relief when she felt her foot hit the stairs that lead to the upper level of the house. She climbed them as quickly as she could in her over size slippers, wondering what was going on in the kitchen. When she reached the top she flipped the light on and, keeping up her fast pace, she headed for the kitchen. There she also immediately flipping on that light as well. She gave out a gasp and started to giggle almost uncontrollably when she was met with the sight of Alucard holding up a raccoon with one hand, his nose wrinkled in disgust and his teeth bared. The raccoon, meanwhile, wasn't too happy either.

 

 

Alucard had thought it was another vampire searching for Seras, attracted by her scent. He was surprised to find instead an over weight raccoon looking for something to eat. He had picked the disgusting thing off of the chair it was trying to use to get to the table. It smelt bad and was extremely ugly. Alucard looked up, his disgust written all over his face when Seras had turned on the kitchen light. He was tempted to throw the thing at her when she had started laugh so hard that she had to hold her stomach with both hands.

 

Seras saw the anger on her Master's face but couldn't stop laughing. She had finally found something to laugh at that her Master had done and she wasn't going to let it pass. She finally calmed herself down, thinking that if she overdid it she might be in trouble. She took a deep breath and asked Alucard

 

"You're not going to drain it dry, are you Master?" Her chest started shake again as she held in her laughter, happy that she had enough guts to tease her Master like he teased her.

 

Alucard ignored Seras' comment as he narrowed his eyes. Turning with his free hand and opening the back door, he chucked the disgusting thing out behind the house. He then turned to Seras, who was still snickering at her little joke, and it made him mad that she dare tease him her Master. He took a few large steps, quickly coming to stand in front of Seras.

 

When Seras saw her Master advance on her she immediately stopped laughing and took a step back, coming in contact with the wall behind her. But she stood with her back straight, thinking that maybe she had taken it a little too far. He was after all her Master; he took care of her.

 

Alucard stood close to Seras' body, only a few inches between them. Seras was scared of what he might do to show her that he was the Master still, not her. So she tried to say something but had to stop to clear her throat. She was very nervous, so she said a quick

"Sorry Master," before he could do anything to show that she did know that he had the control not her.

 

Alucard let his eyes look Seras down and then up again, as if sizing her up. He could see that she was scared, so he decided to have a little power play with her, saying

 

"As you should be, Police Girl. After all, do not forget who made you." He could see her start to shake, her eyes wide as she bit her lip and gave him a big nod.

 

Alucard quickly turned and walked out of the room with a small smile on his face, though he made sure that Seras didn't see it. He was pleased that he still had power over her and it made him feel better after the stupid raccoon had lowered his tough outlook.

 

Seras gave a sigh of relief when Alucard had left. She had been scared that he might be mad, and when he had confirmed it she had gotten even more scared. Before she knew it he was in her face with a mean look. Seras had shaken her head obediently. She was used to this by now and it seemed that whenever she forgot her place he was always there to remind her of it.

 

 

Seras shuffled over to a chair, pulling it out with a small frown on her face as she thought great; once again I have made myself look like a fool. No wonder my Master is ashamed of me. She wanted to cry but held the tears back, knowing that it was another sign of weakness. And also, since she had already had her time of the month she really was weaker than usual and she didn't want to show that to her Master merely so she could get a look of disgust in return. She hated how her special time had come, of all times, when she was in close quarters with her Master. It not only made her weak, but it also made her emotions go wild and that wasn't good. In fact, that was horrible, especially since some of her feelings went deeper than her Master knew.

 

Alucard walked from the kitchen, intending on going down to the basement, but stopped at the top of the stairs as he smelt Seras' scent once again. He gave a huff and then turned to go back to the kitchen. When he had made it to the doorway he saw Seras just sitting there on the kitchen chair, a small frown on her face and once again with her head in the clouds. He cleared his throat, making her jump as he thought in his mind Police Girl needs to keep more alert; what if there had been another vampire here? She might have just walked past it like it wasn't even there. He then wondered if perhaps she was so distracted because of the time of year and that maybe it was a side effect of some kind.

When she turned around to look at him he asked "We are here to train, are we not Police Girl?" Seras gave a quiet nod, excitement now showing on her face as Alucard continued

"Then get dressed and take your blood." With that said, Alucard spun to leave but stopped when he heard Seras say

 

"Aren't you going to take your blood also Master?"

 

Alucard spun back around, giving a heavy sigh as he said

"Fine Police Girl, if that's what it takes to get you moving then hand me one."

 

Seras quickly got up from her chair, a smile now on her face as she opened the large fridge and took out two bags of blood. She quickly crossed the floor till she was in front of Alucard and handed him one of the bags, then backed away to sit back down on the chair she had just left. Giving her Master a smile, she sucked up the blood from the bag and watched as he did the same, his eyes staring back at her.

 

Seras started to get nervous as her Master stared at her, so she quickly broke eye contact and stared at the floor, a small smile still on her face. She wiggled her toes inside of her slippers, feeling more uncomfortable as she could feel his gaze still on her. She didn't know why but for some reason she felt like they were cat and mouse, her being the mouse of course. But she cleared the silly thoughts out of her head. Noticing that her bag was almost dry, she raised her eyes again only to find Alucard gone, an empty blood bag were he had once stood. She gave another sigh, but this time it was in annoyance, as she got up from her chair and walked over to pick up the bag that Alucard had discarded, idly thinking who does he think I am, Walter? She gave a little giggle as she thought of herself with the title `Angel of Death.'

 

 

Seras shook her head; it would have been fun to have a nickname like that. The only nick name she had ever had was kitten, but that was when she was human and now she was anything but a kitten. Her shoulders fell as she went over to the trash can, throwing away the two empty bags. She then tried to remember where she had left her bag with her clothes in it. She perked right up when she remembered it was in the bathroom, and she quickly walked down the hallway. Stopping at the bathroom doorway, she ducked under the now dry pillow case and snatched up her bag, setting it on the sink so that she could see better.

 

Seras quickly pulled out another pair of jeans, some socks, a bra, and a long sleeved shirt. She got dressed at lightening speed, excited once more about what she would learn that night and if she would get any stronger. She dove back into her bag after she pulled on her pants in search for a belt, giving a sound of relief when she found one. After putting that on she hopped from foot to foot, pulling on her socks, and then looked around the room for her shoes.

 

Seras' jaw dropped almost to the floor when she saw in the corner a pair of large black boots that she followed up to a body leaning back into the corner, and then to a very amused face. She took a step back, hitting the sink as she raised a finger and pointed it towards a very amused Alucard, stuttering as she said

 

"Wha-what are y-you doing here?!!"

 

Alucard stood from his leaning spot in the corner, flashing Seras his teeth in a smile as he laughed saying "What am I doing here Police Girl? Maybe I should ask you what you are doing here."

 

He gave another laugh at the confusion covering Seras' face and he spoke again, answering his own question "I came in here to get away from you and here you are following me and even giving me a little peep show."

 

That comment made Seras blush and snap her mouth shut, only to open it again as she said "Sorry Master, I didn't know you were in here."

 

Alucard couldn't help himself as he started to laugh some more at how uncomfortable Seras looked and when she started to speak again, he finally quieted down.

 

"Um, Master have you seen my shoes by chance?" Alucard moved his eyes over to the tub, knowing that Seras was watching him. She followed his gaze, seeing her shoes under the tub.

 

Seras couldn't help but wonder how they had gotten there, but ignored it as she quickly grabbed them and once again began hopping on one foot to the other pulling them on. She didn't even bothering to tie them as she almost ran from the bathroom and back to the kitchen, which seemed to be her safe zone for the moment.

 

 

She sat down on the chair thinking how stupid she was not to even notice that Alucard was in the bathroom. Her eyebrows came together as she wondered what he was doing there in the first place; he could have easily gone down to the basement to be "alone" but instead he had gone to the bathroom of all places. She looked down as she realized that she was tying her shoe laces into knots and cleared her mind, paying attention to what she was doing. She would have plenty of time to wonder about her questions later.

 

Alucard now stood alone in the bathroom, his face strained from being so close to a nude Seras. He hadn't planned on seeing her naked, he had just wanted to have some fun and maybe scare her a little. He had heard her pounding steps enter the bathroom, so he had floated up from the basement hoping to scare her. But when he had made it all the way into the bathroom Seras was nude. He couldn't help himself, knowing that it would be hard not to attack her but at the same time knowing how funny it would be when she found him. She would be so embarrassed, since she seemed to be once again in her own little world at the moment. So he thought it was his duty as her Master to stay that way she would learn to be more alert. He smiled, knowing that he was lying to himself and making up the excuse so he could check out what he would have in a night or two. He gave a sigh as he floated back down to the basement, thinking how much fun it was to tease Police Girl; she always seem to react the way he wanted.

 

Seras finished tying her shoes and stood up, wondering where her Master was, and decided that the most likely place was the basement since he seemed to be there a majority of the time. So she clomped her shoes down the hall and steps, stopping at the bottom of the stairs since the room was dark without a candle lit. She had a feeling that, candle or not, her Master was down there, so she gave a nervous laugh as she said

"Master, I'm ready to train. What are we doing tonight?"

 

Alucard knew that Seras couldn't see him but she still knew he was down there, so he answered "What would you like to learn Police Girl?"

 

Seras nearly fainted when her Master's voice came from the dark. She didn't know why she was so nervous; she had known he was there. She put a finger to her lips, chewing on it as she thought of what she wanted to learn. The first thing that popped in her head was flying, so she asked "Could I learn how to fly Master? Or is that not teachable?"

 

Alucard gave a laugh, already knowing that she wanted to learn to fly. But he wanted for her to ask first so that she didn't know that he had been taking little peeks into her thoughts every now and then. He responded "To fly? Are you sure? Even though it is teachable, it is very hard to learn. Are you ready for that Police Girl?"

 

Seras nodded her head but then remembered that it was dark and gave a very cheerful yes, her excitement filling the small word.

You like me you really like me hehe thanks for the reviews I update pretty fast. I usually write a chapter or two a night then send it to my beta (thanks beta hehe) and then when I get it back I reread it and then post it. I know how it is waiting for an update that never comes it can be really frustrating at times but I am having so much fun writing this so the updates will come quickly. As for it being hard to read sorry about that I was never really any good in English class when I was in high school. The first three chapters I wrote in one night and then I hooked up with a beta for four and up so I am sorry if you are having a hard time reading it, forgive me?? PLEASE? (Bows repeatedly) I might write my beta and ask the favor of her doing the first three chapters for me. So please review when you read it's hard to write when you don't know if anyone likes what you are writing. Thanks again
