Chapter 2: Sesshomaru's Spy

"Excellent, once we revive Kikyo from the dead, then we can use her against Inuyasha!" exclaimed Sesshomaru to Jaken and Rin.

"Oh yes, my lord, after Kikyo gets rid of that putrid Inuyasha, then you can retrieve not only that large fragment of the sacred jewel, but the Tetsusaiga as well!" replied Jaken excitedly to Sesshomaru.

"Lord Sesshomaru, is there any way I can help?" Rin asked.

"No, Rin, I can't take any risks in this experiment. Kikyo had died 50 years ago and after she was reborn anew she was nothing but skin and bones, and yet she was killed by Naraku yet again for he wanted to get rid of Onigumo's heart. Now Naraku cannot do anything rash to us as usual, now just go and see if you can help Jaken." Sesshomaru answered.

"Yes my lord!" replied Rin.

Rin ran over to Jaken, but was shooed away by him and she eventually ended up taking a nap.

"Lord Sesshomaru, I have someone who wants to see you." Jaken said excitedly.

Kikyo walked in by Sesshomaru, in perfect form and she was revived and was as lively as she was 50 years ago, which meant she was alive again, but under Sesshomaru's control.

"Excellent, Jaken, she's in perfect form." Sesshomaru replied.

"Sesshomaru what do you ask of me that's so important that you must wake me from my everlasting slumber?" Kikyo asked.

"So glad you asked, I wish for you to go and spy on Inuyasha, and steal the large jewel fragment as you have once before, and possibly that sword of his, the Tetsusaiga." Sesshomaru replied.

"Don't speak the name of Inuyasha, however, it will be easy for me to steal the fragment, but the sword might be a problem." Kikyo replied.

"Perfect, now go, they're outside that demon exterminator girl's village. Go spy on them and try to steal what will soon become mine." Sesshomaru explained.

"Fine, I will not fail you Sesshomaru." Kikyo replied.

Kirara turns to her true form, sensing a strange aura in the air. Inuyasha feels it too and gets on guard. Shippo becomes scared and hides behind Kagome.

"Inuyasha, what is it?" Kagome asked.

"Someone is here watching us, this scent is so familiar, but I don't know who it is." Inuyasha replied.

`Oh no could it be Kikyo, watching us? If it was then she saw us kiss!' thought Kagome.

"Ha, sharp as usual Inuyasha. I knew I couldn't cover my scent, but believe me I was ready for you since the moment I spied on everybody." Kikyo replied.

"Kikyo?! What are you doing here? I thought Naraku killed you again!" Inuyasha asked with great surprise.

"Oh, I bet you wished I was dead, but your merciful and kind brother, Sesshomaru had revived me from that wretched eternal sleep. In fact I'm here from Sesshomaru's orders in the first place." Kikyo replied. "Now hand over the jewel fragment and I won't be forced to hurt you as bad as I had planned."

`Oh no, what do I do, I simply cannot kill her again, yet I cannot give her the fragment!'

"You refuse to hand them over, then your special girl over there will have to come with me!"

`Oh no my suspicions were right, it was Kikyo!'

Kikyo flew to Kagome on one of her soul collectors and threatened to kill her with her sacred arrow.

"Now's your last chance hand them over, or the girl's blood will be stained by my hands!"

"Kagome! Fine Kikyo here's the jewel fragment." Inuyasha replied while handing Kikyo the large jewel fragment.

"I knew you'd eventually succumb to me after I threatened her life. Now I can relinquish myself as the guardian of the Shikon no Tama, and finally use it to heighten my power!" exclaimed Kikyo.

"Kikyo, but your under Sesshomaru's control? What the heck are you doing?" Inuyasha asked confused.

"Sesshomaru may have revived me from the dead, but I have died twice. With the power of this jewel fragment I can ensure my safety, I cannot just hand such important valuables to the likes of Sesshomaru." Kikyo replied while moving herself back to Naraku's Castle.

"Sesshomaru I have retrieved the large jewel fragment from Inuyasha, but alas I could not retrieve the Tetsusaiga." Kikyo replied.

"Ah, excellent Kikyo, now give me the fragment." Sesshomaru ordered.

"Not a chance!"

"You dare defy the very person who revived you?"

"I have relinquished myself as the sacred jewel guardian priestess. This jewel fragment is mine. I must heighten my power beyond anyone's control!"

Kikyo channeled the power of the jewel fragment and became stronger than Sesshomaru and Inuyasha combined. Her power was so great and so massive that not even Sesshomaru could keep her power in check. Just then Kikyo released a sacred energy blast with intention to kill Sesshomaru, but failed as did Inuyasha due to the power of the Tenseiga.
