Leyna grabbed a pair of faded blue jeans and changed out of her skirt. As she looked around the room she spotted the crystal necklace sitting on the nightstand. She walked over and picked it up, holding it into the sunlight streaming in from the balcony doors. It was more beautiful than she had realized. She undid the clasp and placed it around her neck. As she redid the clasp she remembered that she had left her cat and her adoption records at her house.

"Shit!" she exclaimed as she ran out of the room, down the stairs only to trip and fall flat on her face.

"Hey clumsy, watch where you're going." She looked up into Inuyasha's gloden eyes.

"Ha Ha, very funny Inuyasha." She got up and brushed herself off. "Hey, I forgot to bring my cat with me yesterday. Do you think we can go get him after we hang out?"

"Sure. We better get going, everyone's going to meet us at the mall." She followed him out into the garage only to have her jaw drop to the floor. There were thirty cars and over fifty motorcycles all lined up in the garage.

"Holy monkey balls! How many cars do you own?"

"Most of these are Sess's. I only have three cars, and most of the motorcycle's are mine."

"Damn. So, which one are we taking?" She couldn't take her eyes off of a silver and purple Yamaha.

"You ride that if you want, I'll drive my mustang behind you." As he looked at Leyna, he saw her shake.

"Are you okay?" He placed a hand on her shoulder, causing her to jump.

"Huh?"

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, but I think I'll just ride with you." She smiled at him when she saw his look of worry.

"Really, I'm fine. Come on, let's go." She walked away from Inuyasha and climbed into the passenger seat. Inuyasha followed and got in, starting the ignition. As he pushed a button the dash to open the garage door, Leyna turned on the radio. She glared to find nothing but commercials. She sighed as she sat back, laying her head against the cool glass, watching the trees and houses go by as Inuyasha drove. He glanced at her out of the corner of his eye. Leyna sat up as a familar song began. She turned up the volume as "Everytime" by Britney Spears came on.

"You like Britney Spears?"

"Hell no! She's a damn slut. I only like this song."

"Suuuure. Whatever you say Red."

"Bastard. You know I hate plastic barbie dolls like her."

"Uh huh. Hey, we're almost there so you better tell the truth."

"Okay. I will, you're the one who has dreams about barbie dolls chasing you with knives, not me."

"You aren't supposed to talk about that! They'll kill you." he said in a very sarcastic tone. They both cracked up laughing. Leyna stopped when an announcer came on the radio. She could barely hear it so she turned the volume up.

"We have a new Amber Alert for the Metropolitan area. A sixteen year old girl was abducted from her home this morning. She has shoulder-lengthred hair, pale skin, and a scar across her face. Her abducter was unseen. Please be on the look out for her."

'She sounds like me. God, this can't be happening. Not again, I thought it stopped in Japan.' was the only thing running through Leyna's mind.

"I hope they find her soon." Leyna's thoughts were broken by Inuyasha's saddened voice.

"Me too. Have you noticed that lately, most of the kidnappings are of girls who look like me?"

"Never noticed, until you mentioned it. I guess they do resemble you."

"I wonder if the guys who've followed me had anything to do with it." She shivered as she remebered what they had done to her. 'Are they doing that to those girls?'

"Earth to Leyna! Leyna, you okay?" Leyna looked at him and smiled.

"Stop worrying about me Inuyasha." He stopped the car and she looked back out the window. They were at the mall, and he had already found a parking spot. Inuyasha turned off the ignition and turned to her.

"I always worry about you. I can't lose you again." Leyna leaned in and kissed him softly on the lips.

"You will never lose me again Inuyasha. I promise that I won't leave you." She moved away from him and opened her door. Inuyasha got out, walked over to Leyna and put an arm around her waist. They headed into the mall, when Leyna started to shiver.

"Are you cold?" Leyna didn't answer, instead she stopped walking. Her head was pounding, which meant a vision was coming. She looked around for somewhere to sit. All she could find the edge of the fountain that was in the center of the mall's first floor. She walked over to it, Inuyasha following behind her. When she reached it, her legs were shaking and her vision was blurring. Inuyasha sat down next to her, but didn't speak. He knew she was about to have a vision, but that's also when her realized something very odd about her necklace. It was glowing a fierce blue, but then changed to an emerald green as the vision hit her.

All that Leyna could see was darkness, then suddenly the room was engulfed in candle light. The smell of incense reached her nose as a hooded figure came into view. The figure stood before a silver chalice, which was filled with what seemed to be blood. The figured placed a rose into the chalice and opened a thick book. The figure began to slowly chant in Latin. Leyna's eyes widened when she realized what the figure was saying, and then she recognized the voice.

Slowly, the scene in front of her was replaced with two golden orbs in front of her eyes. She was back in reality.

"Leyna, what'd you see?" Inuyasha almost didn't want to know. He saw the disgust and anger burning brightly in her now crimson eyes. She shook her head and took several deep breaths, calming herself down. When she felt the anger leave her she turned and faced Inuyasha.

"I don't want to ruin our day by talking about an insignificant vision. Don't worry, it wasn't important." Inuyasha knew she was lying, but decided against pushing it any further.

"So, where are we meeting the others?" Inuyasha looked around and smirked.

"Actually, right here." Leyna shook her head and smiled. Inuyasha pulled her closer to him and wrapped an arm around her waist. Leyna rested her head while they waited for the others.

'How do I tell him that Kagome didn't do any of that shit out of her own free will? I can't even begin to think of how they'll handle the truth about Kikyo.' Leyna sighed, unsure of how she was going to tell the others about her vision. She felt pity for Kagome, the poor girl had been used for an evil reason by someone she trusted. Then again, Leyna knew exactly what it was like to be betrayed. The pain never really left you, and if you weren't careful it would eat you alive. Leyna looked up to see the others walking towards them laughing. Leyna smiled, it had been a long time since she had been with a group of people just for fun. Before, the others spotted them, Leyna turned to Inuyasha and whispered,

"Did you happen to tell anyone about Kagome?"

"Yeah, just Miroku and Sess, but the probaly told the girls. Why?"

"No reason, just curious." Inuyasha was now more curious about her vision, but didn't have a chance to ask her about it because Sango's voice rang out through the crowded mall,

"PERVERT!" and a slap followed. Leyna looked to see Miroku touching his face where Sango had left a red hand print. Leyna was curious as to why Sango hit Miroku, but Inuyasha answered that question when he asked,

"Miroku, haven't you learned to not grope Sango?" Leyna laughed when she heard what Inuyasha said.

"I just appreciate the fine specimen that is a woman's body."

"So that's what you meant when you said he was a pervert, Inuyasha. I thought you meant he was like you." Inuyasha turned to face Leyna who was stiffling back a laugh, but failing miserablly.

'What's that supposed to mean?!" Lenya just smiled.

"Yeah, Leyna what do you mean?" Miroku asked. Inuyasha was constanly giving him a hard time because of his "wandering" hand. He would have given anything to be able to harass Inuyasha about something.

"Do you remeber all the jokes and comments you used to tell me in middle school?" Inuyasha's eyes widened, he knew exactly what she was talking about. Leyna smirked when she saw his eyes widening.

"I could tell everyone right now."

"You wouldn't dare. You're just bluffing."

"Oh really? Well, Inuyasha's favorite joke is the one about the..." Leyna couldn't finish what she was going to say because Inuyasha had clamped her mouth shut with his hand.

"Don't say it or else." Leyna nodded her head, and he let his hand drop down.

"Damn, I wanted to know." Miroku pouted. Sango just hit him on the back of the head.

"You would, you perv." Leyna stood up, leaving a very angry Inuyasha sitting on the fountain edge. She walked over to Sango and miroku, just as Sesshomaru and Rin showed up.

"Hey guys! So movie or pizza first?" a very hyper Rin asked. Inuyasha walked up behind Leyna, who wasn't paying a bit of attention to anything due to the fact she thought she heard someone calling her name, and put his hands around her waist. He had sensed her tensing up with fear, and she snapped back to reality as she felt his arms wrap around her.

"I say pizza first. Of course, we might want to think about what movie we're going to see. If it was up to Miroku we'd see something with a lot of blood and guts." Sango answered. Rin nodded and Leyna thought for a moment. Sesshomaru spoke up though.

"We better eat first, that way we don't have to worry too much about buying snacks." The others agreed and they headed over to the pizza joint. As they were walking they heard music and cheering.

"Wonder what that is all about." Sango said.

"Let's find out." Rin replied. They walked around the corner, to see a huge crowd of people gathered around a stage. Leyna automatically recognized the people who were standing on the stage.

"Uncle James!" She yelled at the top of her lungs. A man on stage turned when he heard her yell, then he jumped down from the stage. He finally made his way through the crowd and grabbed her in an embrace.

"Yo, Leyna, what are you doing here? I thought you were still in Japan." Inuyasha looked at the man, wanting desperatly to know who he was. He looked like a Linkin' Park wannabe.

"We left after dad's funeral." James' smile dissapeared at her words.

"Oh, well it's good to see ya again."

"Hey what's going on over there?" Miroku asked.

"Oh, well we're throwing a singing contest. Winner gets a shopping spree here at the mall and six tickets to a Linkin' Park concert."

"Who's 'we'" Inuyasha asked.

"Oh, Uncle James is a D.J. for X103. You know, the local rock station." Everyone's mouth fell open when Leyna told them that. She just sighed, she hated it when people responded that way.

"Guys, please come back to earth and stop staring like that!!" Everyone snapped back to reality when Leyna yelled at them.

"Leyna, I think you should enter our contest."

"But since I'm related to you, doesn't that prevent me from entering?"

"I hate to say this, but since you're adopted, it doesn't matter." Leyna frowned. She didn't want to get up in front of so many people to sing, and that had been her only way to get out of it.

"You have a great voice, girl. You NEED to get up there and sing." Sango tried to convince her.

"I will... if Inuyasha enters as well." Inuyasha looked at her in shock.

"There is no way I am going up there!"

"Inuyasha, then I won't keep my promise from earlier." Leyna had a devilish smirk on her face and Inuyasha looked pissed.

"You promised Leyna. I am not singing."

"Fine, i am NOT keeping the promise." Inuyasha was really pissed.

"What did she promise?" Misoku asked.

"Fine, I'll sing." Leyna smiled at him.

"Good boy Inuyasha."

"Okay, you two, you need to write down your names and at least four songs you want to sing. There are four rounds before the sudden death between the five finalists. Good Luck."

He handed them a clipboard that had a piece of lined paper on it. Leyna wrote her name and the songs she knew by heart. Then Inuyasha did the same before handing it back to James.

"You two have an hour before its your turns to perform. See ya then!" HE left them and went back on stage.

"What do we do now?" Sesshomaru asked.

"Shop!" Rin and Sango exclaimed.

"Leyna needs a killer outfit for her performance." Sango added.

She grabbed her by the arm and pulled her away from the guys, leaving them to find something else to do.

"Arcade anybody?" Miroku asked.

The other two simply followed.

Hey there dear readers. I just wanted to say that I know a lot of people are upset about how I'm portraying Kagome. Don't fret, that's not how she's going to really be in this story. My computer doesn't have spell check so please bear with me while I correct everything by hand.
