“I don’t know what’s worst. That stupid poltergeist or that evil smelling caretaker.” Inuyasha ranted, as they walked to their next class.

“Excuse me.” some said behind them. They turned to see a boy with a lightening shaped scar on his forehead and a bright, red-headed boy standing there.

“Yes?” Kagome said, with a bright smile on her face.

“We were…um…wondering if you knew the way to the Potions class.” the red haired boy asked.

“Sure. We’re on are way there now.” Kaela said after reading into the one with the lightening scar’s past. Something about him seemed off but she wasn’t for sure what. She knew his life was horrible but that was it.

“Oh, thank you. My name’s Harry Potter and this is Ron Weasley.” the one known as Harry said.

“Please to meet you. I’m Kaela Star, this is Kagome Higurashi, and Inuyasha Inuyoukai.” Kaela said, as she indicated to the others.

“We’re going to be late if we don’t hurry.” Kagome said, as she check the time.

“Follow me. I know a shortcut.” Kaela said and lead them to a hidden staircase. They jumped on of the steps and off to class.

Snape called the roll pausing on Kaela’s name and looked right at her, then continued. He stopped again on Harry’s name.

“Ah. Mr. Potter. Our celebrity. Tell me, Potter, what would I get if I added powdered root of asphodel to infusion of wormwood.” Snape said, staring down his nose. A girl’s hand went up, obvisiously she knew the answer but Snape ignored her.

Harry looked from Ron to Kagome to Inuyasha and then to Kaela. “Professor, I do believe that she knows the answer.” Kaela said, nodding toward the girl with her hand up.

“If I wanted her to answer, I would have asked her. I ask Mr. Potter and he will answer.” Snape glared at Kaela and turned back to Harry.

“Well if I was him, I would tell you to shut it.” Kaela said, returning the glare.

“I don’t believe I have a student with a smart mouth. Prehaps, detention will do you some good.” Snape smirked, thinking he had her.

“Oh, detention. I’m so scared.” Kaela said in mock fright. “Please. If that’s all you got then I’ve wasted my time.” Inuyasha smirked as the other students started to whisper.

“Silence. Ms. Star, I will see you after class. Five points from Gryffindor.”

Class went back to normal and the started working on their potions. Kaela had to stop Neville from adding the porcupine quills before taking his potion off the fire.

Snape wasn’t pleased with that. He wanted another reason to take points from Gryffindor.

When class was over, the students almost ran from the dungeons. Kaela on the other hand, walked straight to the front of the room.

“Prehaps I should speak to Professor McGonagall about your little outburst or I should just go to straight to Professor Dumbledore.” Snape smirked.

“By all means, go right ahead.” Kaela smiled. “Do you really think they’ll do something besides give me a little talking to?”

Snape glared. “Listen here, Dragon. Just because you’re a special guest here doesn’t mean you can’t be punished.”

“Right. Even if I’m expelled, no one can do anything. I can do magic without a wand.” Kaela smirked and turned to walk away.

“You won’t get away with this.”

“Get away with what?” Kaela asked in an innocent voice and exited the room..
