Anna and HoroHoro had found a small hut and they hid there, waiting for Yoh and Ren to show up. They huddled into a corner and slept.

"Good morning, Battle Royale participants! This the daily report for who has died and what zone is dangerous! Last night, Sanosuke Sagara died by a knife to the gut by Siri Moon and Yoh Asakura died by a Kwan-Dao to the heart by Tao Ren. Today's-" HoroHoro could hear Anna gasp and begin to cry. He couldn't believe that Ren would sink so low. There was knocking on the door. The ice shaman left Anna to grieve as he went to answer it. On the other side was the green haired boy they had met, Lyserg.

"Oh, hey. Come on in. Have you seen Ren?"

"No." Lyserg walked in, his fairy spirit, Morphin, followed him. Then a cry of anguish rattled the shack.

"HoroHoro-dono! Ren killed him! He kissed and killed Yoh-dono!" Amidamaru sobbed in his Spirit-Ball Mode and buried himself in HoroHoro's chest, "And he hid him in the forest!"

"It'll be okay, Amidamaru, we'll take care of Ren."

"Today's Danger Zone is D4. If you are in that area, you better get your butt out of there in a hurry!" The announcements buzzed out as a timer started on Inuyasha, Kagome, Kouga and Miroku's collars. Kouga cursed under his breath the scowled at Inuyasha who had lead them into that area.

"You trying to get us killed, mutt-face?"

"Shut up, Kouga, we need to get out of here!"

"And we only have 3 minutes to find the safe zone!" Miroku cried. Kouga and Inuyasha fought over who would carry Kagome, who got frustrated and jumped into Inuyasha's arms. They dashed off, heading south, as fast as they could. Time seemed to be against them as the harder they ran, the faster the time went down. The group finally made it to the edge of the of the danger zone with only seconds to go, Kagome slipped trying to curse, "Oh, sit! Wait!"

Inuyasha's beads pulled him down and in a desperate attempt to save Kagome, threw her to Kouga, and the three landed safely beyond the danger zone. Inuyasha looked up with pleading eyes as the last three seconds counted off...

"San..."

"Inuyasha! Get up!" (Miroku)

"Come on, mutt-face!" (Kouga)

"Ni..."

"Inuyasha, pick yourself up!" (Miroku)

"I can't move! Damn old wind-bag." (Inuyasha)

"Ichi....boom!" they watch in horror as Inuyasha screamed his last words ('Kagome!') and his collar exploded, leaving his head hanging by his spinal cord and his body blood ridden. Kagome shrieked and cried, trying to go back to him. Kouga held him back, he too was stunned by his rival's sacrifice. Miroku could bear no words, he stabbed his staff into the ground and became stoic in prayer, he was later joined by Kouga and Kagome.

"Curse this game and the authors, we will find a way out of here, so Inuyasha's death is not in vain."

"Aye, aye, Kouga."

"It really was nice to know you, Mutt-face." the proud wolf demon turned on his heel and quickly wheeled away, hoping that no one saw him cry.
