A little info on the parts of Inuyasha that I’m incorporating into the story. Naraku is still looking for the jewel shards.. Kagome has been trained by Kaede and by Sesshoumaru. (Later on there’s more details about that.) More interesting things are in Integra’s background…She says she’s an only child but that might not be true…

Chapter Two
Meeting Alucard and the Freak attack

Opening the large door to the room and walking in, Kagome gasped as she saw the room. It was huge! “thank you for showing me where my room was Walter. I would probably get lost trying to remember where Integra’s room was and trying to find mine would be just as hard.” Walter set the bag down by the large bed and replied. “It was no trouble at all Miss Higurashi.” The bags settled down and Walter caught sight of her bow and arrows. “Are you an archer Miss Higurashi? I could make you another bow. My father used to take me hunting as a child and he taught me to make them…” Kagome’s eyes lit up. Her bow was starting to crack and it was getting hard enough to fire arrows as it was.
“That would be great Walter. Could you make me some arrows as well? I only have the ones with me and I’ll most likely use them practicing…” The butler smiled and had a happy glint in his eyes. “I can do that Miss Higurashi. I haven’t done it since I was a boy but I can do it.” he exited the room and left Kagome to her thoughts. “Maybe I should go and see what ‘Tegra’s doing? If she’s too busy I can go ask Seras if there’s any targets around here…I can go and practice my archery…”
Going next door, she checked Integra’s room to see if she was there. It was empty. She couldn’t go upstairs any further so she decided to check out this floor first. After going through ten empty rooms she finally came to a set of large doors. Muffled words were coming through it. “She might be a threat later on…I don’t know what her powers can do to us…I want to meet her…” the voice was cool and calm. It was unrecognizable but definitely male. “I don’t know how she’ll react to meeting you Alucard! I don’t want to scare the living daylights out of her!” Integra’s voice was mad as she said this. Kagome had enough. She wanted to come down and see Integra and that’s what she was going to do. She knocked on the door and opened it.

Walking into Integra’s study, she found her cousin sitting at her desk with a cigar between her fingers. A tall black haired man dressed in a red trench coat, a large red hat, orange sunglasses, and a black dress shirt and pants was standing near the desk. Integra’s eyes raised to Kagome’s face. “What are you doing here Kagome?” Kagome frowned at her tone. “You wanted to know what was wrong didn’t you ‘Tegra? I came here to talk. Then afterwards, I wanted to teach you some archery. Oh who‘s black, red, and scary over there?”
Integra smirked at Alucard’s offended look. “His name is Alucard. Instead of teaching me archery Kagome, How about teaching Alucard? He could use something to keep himself occupied…” Her smirk grew even wider as he looked at her in disbelief. “What? I have to learn archery? Why don’t you have Police girl learn instead?” Integra shook her head and the smirk was still on her face. “No Alucard. You will learn archery and if Kagome tells me that you aren’t trying you will be punished.” Alucard snickered at the thought of the lame punishments his master could come up with. “And what would the punishment be?” Integra smirked. “You’ll have to be Kagome’s servant for a month.”
Both Kagome’s and Alucard’s eyes widened considerably. “What are you mad ‘Tegra? I hardly even know this man! Never mind scratch that. I can tell that he isn’t human. What are you?” She looked pointedly at him for an answer.
Alucard closed his eyes and chuckled darkly. “I knew that you would figure it out sooner or later priestess.” He took of his glasses and put them down on the chair. Looking at her with his blood red eyes, he said “You see I am a true vampire or in my native language a nosferatu.” As he spoke Kagome could see the glint of sharp fangs. “A vampire? I thought they were all killed centuries ago…” as she trailed off she thought about Alucard’s name. It sounded so familiar to her. “Wait a minute…Tegra? Is he Dracula?”
Alucard snorted. “Your information was wrong priestess. I was imprisoned By Van Hellsing and I now serve his family for eternity. There are fake vampires running around London called Freaks and humans that they drain completely called ghouls. You’ve also read Bram Stoker’s book Dracula I see.. So misinformed he was…I wasn’t dead, just captured by that disgusting human…” Kagome glared at him with her sapphire eyes.
“You’re a vampire? I’d rather believe that you’d be a demon instead…” If I remember right from the stories that uncle told me, you should be able to regenerate your limbs if I destroy them…” Alucard could see where she was going with this. She wanted to prove he wasn’t a vampire but she saw the fangs in his mouth when he spoke anyway.
“So I’ll be you’re target eh little priestess? This sounds like it could be fun.” Integra sighed. ‘This will get messy. I just know it. I can’t wait to see Alucard’s body full of Kagome’s arrows either…’
“I did not read that book at all Alucard. I only asked that question from the stories that the maids told me when I was a child. What do these ghouls look like? I think I had a run in with two of them at my shrine. They were an ugly pair. Bluish skin and everything…hardly had an aura…” Kagome really didn’t want to talk about finding her grandfather dead in front of the Goshinboku, but Alucard would know a lot about these ghouls…
“They look a lot like you described Kagome. They once were human but they were drained off all their blood and are now ghouls…They do whatever their master says, usually their master is a freak vampire but there has been odd occurrences of super freak vampires that control hundred of ghouls.” Integra looked at her with some worry. ‘Those monsters are in Japan too? What will we have to do to exterminate them all?’
“Let’s talk more later Tegra, I feel like filling this cocky bastard’s hide with my arrows.” Kagome smirked and looked over to her cousin. Integra caught her devious look and smirked as well.

“Alucard&# 8217;s always been like that Kagome…You should go and get your bow and arrows if you’re going to use him for target practice.” there was a knock on the door and Walter walked in with a rosewood bow and a quiver of arrows. “That was quick Walter. I thought it would take longer for you to make the bow…” Walter shook his head. “I make many different special firearms for the Hellsing Organization but when I have free time, I work on making bows like I did when I was a child. This one here is the best one I made so far. I would be glad for you to have it Miss Higurashi.” he handed the bow and quiver over to Kagome. She smiled at him and slung the quiver over her back.
Examining the bow, she found it was very finely made. Testing the string, she smiled again. It was perfectly strung. “Thank you very much Walter. The bow is a very fine piece of craftsmanship.” Integra and Alucard looked at Walter with slight wonder. “I didn’t know that you made bows and arrows Walter. I thought that you only made firearms… Are you going to come down to the training grounds with us and watch Alucard get his hide filled with arrows?” Walter had a thoughtful look on his face as he thought about it. ‘What has Alucard done now to make miss Higurashi want to fill his hide with her arrows? This could be interesting…’
“Alucard sorely needs to be taught a lesson. If it has to be Kagome that teaches him it, then so be it. I will come and watch Sir Integra.” walking to the door, he opened it and let the group walk through. He looked back and found the room empty. ‘Alucard’s most likely already at the training grounds. I wonder what will happen…will Kagome actually get some hits in?’ Integra sighed as she turned back to Walter. “Lead the way. I’m looking forward to this. We‘re not going to the normal training grounds. We‘re going to the ones on the west side of the manor.” Walter’s eyes widened. But those are the training grounds that Seras and Alucard use! Are you sure that Kagome should use them?”
Kagome looked at the two with determination flaring in her eyes. You don’t know what I can do. Is it because of Alucard? Don’t think that I’m weak! I’ve had many people think that and I’ve proved them wrong before!” her eyes took on a serious light as she remembered her first meeting with Inuyasha. She proved to him time and time again that She wasn’t weak…Integra smirked and looked over to Walter. “I’m sure of it Walter. Kagome’s not weak and It will be interesting to see what she can do.” Kagome smiled at her cousin with gratitude. “Can we go now please? I really want to Alucard with some arrows…” Integra nodded and led the way to the western training grounds.

As the group reached the grounds, Kagome looked around. She felt a weird aura around them that she couldn’t describe. ‘It sort of feels like Alucard’s aura but not quite. What is it? What is it about this place…I can’t describe it but it sort of gives me the same feeling that the areas that Naraku visits…’ Kagome’s face took on a thoughtful but serious look as she was lost in her thoughts. She gripped her bow tight as Naraku came to her thoughts again. ‘Naraku will pay…He won’t get the shards as long as I’m around…’ Integra couldn’t sense Alucard through their link anywhere around the training grounds. He most likely was hiding himself from her in the shadows and was observing Kagome to see what she would do.
‘Alucard, where are you? I can’t sense where you are through our link…’ Integra was mad and Alucard could tell from the tone of her voice. ‘I’m at the training grounds like you said master…Where are you?’ his tone was somewhat playful as he answered back. Integra scowled and replied. ‘Just get down here Alucard. Kagome’s waiting for you. We’re all waiting for you to come down here…’
Alucard smirked as he stepped out of the shadows on the training grounds. “Looking for me? I’m right here. Let’s get this started. I want to see what you can do little miko.” looking at her, he grinned devilishly and withdrew an odd looking gun from his trench coat. Seras was the one to see it first and gasped in horror. “Master are you crazy?! You’re using you’re Jackal on Kagome? It’ll kill her!” Integra looked to Alucard with rage. “Alucard what do you think you’re doing! I absolutely forbid you from using you’re Jackal against Kagome in this battle!” Alucard just quickly glanced over to Integra and switched his attention over to Kagome. Kagome began to laugh loudly. “You think he can kill me with that gun? I know what the bullets are made of ‘Tegra. The blessed mercury would just fall to the ground when it touches my aura…”
Everyone was confused. What do you mean Kagome? How would the bullets touch your aura? And how did you know that they were made of blessed mercury?” Kagome’s head was slightly tilted to the side and her eyes were shaded by her hair. “That would take a while to explain. I’ll tell you later.” turning to Alucard, she gripped she bow with one hand and withdrew an arrow from the quiver on her back in one quick movement. Loosely knocking the arrow on her bow, she waited for his move.
Alucard smirked predatorily and crept closer towards Kagome. He was going to see how fast she was with her bow and he knew the way to do it. Circling around her like he was sizing up a piece of meat, he held his Jackal in his right hand all the while grinning at her maniacally. As he completed his fourth circuit around her Kagome snapped. “What in the hell are you doing? Are we going to start this or what?”
Firing a single bullet from his Jackal was his answer. Instead of going through her arm like he thought it would, a blue transparent barrier appeared around Kagome and the bullet was trapped inside it. “I guess you weren’t lying little miko. My jackal’s useless right now. I’m going to have to use my fists against you.” he gave a wide fanged maniacal smile. “This hasn’t happened to me before. Very interesting.” Rushing towards her, he sent a kick to her stomach. Dodging the attack to her stomach, she knocked the arrow , aimed and fired it at his shoulder. Alucard managed to dodge it but his shoulder was burned badly where it was grazed by.
“What did you do to me miko? My skin burns and it won’t heal…” his voice had a tone of anger and wonder in it. Kagome smiled slightly. “So my miko powers affect vampires like it does youkai? Hmm interesting…I’ll heal it later if you want. It’ll just keep burning and it won’t heal if it isn’t treated properly.”
Alucard just scoffed and then appeared in front of her. “The battle’s still on little miko. Even if you managed to graze my shoulder with one of your arrows.” punching her in the stomach, he watched her fall to the ground.
‘Damn…that arrogant bastard sure packs a punch…I need to get an arrow into him…maybe a rosary too…‘ pushing herself up, she withdrew two arrows and fired them in succession. Alucard dodged the first arrow and the second arrow lodged itself into his left shoulder. He could only feel burning pain emanating from his shoulder. Alucard wouldn’t admit it out loud but having the arrow go through his shoulder hurt like hell.
Running towards Kagome again, he reached for both of her shoulders and went to pin her down. This strained his injured shoulder even more and he cringed inwardly. He grasped her shoulders and pushed her to the ground. “How are you going to get out of this little miko?” the grip on her shoulders moved down to her arms and stayed there. He grinned as he saw he struggling to get free.
“Let go of me! You’ll regret it if you don’t!” Alucard just smirked and replied “What can you do to me now? You’re pinned down. You can’t get to your arrows.” His inky black hair framed his pale white face and made his crimson eyes stand out even more. Kagome glared at him harshly. “You’ll be surprised at what I can do.” The blue barrier that he saw before sprang up around her and Alucard was flung back, palms singed and the wound in his shoulder opened even wider.

Staring each other down, the training grounds were eerily quiet. Kagome could sense other auras approaching and they felt like the ghouls that she encountered at her shrine. Speaking loudly for Alucard, and Seras to hear, she asked “Do you feel that? Ghouls are approaching…We’ll have to postpone this for later.” Alucard nodded slowly he could sense the disgusting, vile creatures. They were hiding in the forest, just waiting for their master’s order’s. Seras shook her head in confusion. “What are you talking about Kagome? I don’t sense anything…No hold on…I sense them…”Her voice got a steel edge to it as she searched the forest with her eyes.
Walking up behind Alucard, she whispered quiet enough for him to her. “Do you sense their exact position? I can sense their aura’s but they flicker so much…” Alucard just ignored her and continued to stare at the dark forest line. “Grab the arrow and pull it out. It will burn my hand if I try…” she nodded and reached up. Grasping the arrow, she pulled it out and threw it on the ground. Alucard hissed as he felt the purifying powers tear and burn at his flesh as the arrow was pulled out. Throwing it on the ground, she turned her attention to the tall vampire. “Are you alright?” He turned his head slightly and glared at her from the corner of his eyes. “Stay quiet. They’re going to attack soon.” Grasping his Jackal in his left hand, he grinned as he thought of tearing through the several bodies of the ghouls.
Several dark shapes jumped out from the trees that they were hiding in and rushed toward the group. Alucard smirked evilly and fired a shot. It was placed just right that it went through four ghouls. “Only four? I have to work on my aim a little more.” Two ghouls were racing toward Kagome and she finished them off easily, an arrow going through each of their skulls. As a ghoul that was trying to sneak up on her, Kagome quickly turned around and shot it in the heart. This ghoul was stronger than she rest and she needed to use another arrow to finish it off. Aiming between the eyes, the arrow landed true.
Getting up from her kneeling position, she slowly walked to the forest line where she could sense the last aura coming from. “Come out. We all know that you’re in there.” No one came out and Kagome raised her bow. She took an arrow from her quiver and fired it toward where the aura was the strongest. A shadow jumped out of the foliage and landed a few feet in front of her. Looking at the person, she saw that it was definitely male. Black hair and bright green eyes stood out to against his pale skin. “You wanted to see me fair lady? My name Is Suuichi. Yours is?” he smiled handsomely at her and his long fangs glinted as he opened his mouth. Kagome would have smiled back but she looked at him with disgust. “My name is none of your business. Why are you here?” Suuichi just grinned. “I’m here on the orders of my master. You’re supposed to come with me. Do you want to come quietly or are we going to have to fight about it?”
“I’d never go with you. I guess it’s a fight then.” Suuichi shook his head sadly. “I was hoping that you’d come quietly…” Kagome snorted unladylike. “As if! I’d never go with you.” Without notice, Suuichi lashed out at Kagome and she landed on the ground hard. As she got her wits, Kagome quickly got up onto her feet and dropped down low enough so that she could trip him. She tripped him and with her miko powers acting on reflex, she created a strong barrier around him. His vivid green eyes glared at the miko outside the barrier. “Damn you miko. You may have me trapped inside this barrier but my master will get what he wants!” Alucard walked up on the other side of Kagome. “And who exactly is your master freak?”
“That’s something I’ll never tell you or anyone.” Alucard looked at him coolly. “Are you ready for death? A true one? Not the one that your so called master promised you if you failed him?” True fear entered Suuichi’s eyes and he could almost see himself dying by Alucard’s hands. “I can never speak my master’s name. It is forbidden of me and if I do speak it, I will die instantly anyway, It won’t matter if you kill me.” Kagome shook her head. She had enough already. “Great just great. “What in the hell are we going to do with you now?” Alucard looked at her with an evil grin. “We’re going to kill him. He’s no use to us. He’s not talking and he wouldn’t be any use after he spoke his master’s name anyway. Lower the barrier.”
Kagome nodded and slowly lowered the barrier. As it lowered, it got halfway down and Alucard fired his Jackal. Suuichi just stood dead still like he was in a trance. The bullet went right through him and his body turned to ash. Kagome was surprised. “I wonder why he didn’t try to dodge it? He could have gone down fighting…” Alucard looked over to where the body of Suuichi was. “His master had a hold on his mind. He couldn’t move. He didn’t have a choice.”

Integra , Seras, and Walter were watching the duo from the sidelines and were shocked to see that they were actually talking without Kagome wanting to put an arrow through Alucard’s hide. “It’s amazing what Miss Higurashi’s arrows can do. I wonder, what was that blue light surrounding them?” Walter inquired out loud. Seras nodded. “It sure had it’s affect against the ghouls. How did she put up that blue glowing thing? I heard her say earlier that she was a miko, but what is a miko exactly? I’ve never heard of one.
Integra looked over to her cousin then at Seras and Walter. “If you really want to know, I suggest asking Kagome yourselves“.

The bow is a very fine piece of craftsmanship.” Integra and Alucard looked at Walter with slight wonder. “I didn’t know that you made bows and arrows Walter. I thought that you only made firearms… Are you going to come down to the training grounds with us and watch Alucard get his hide filled with arrows?” Walter had a thoughtful look on his face as he thought about it. ‘What has Alucard done now to make miss Higurashi want to fill his hide with her arrows? This could be interesting…’
“Alucard sorely needs to be taught a lesson. If it has to be Kagome that teaches him it, then so be it. I will come and watch Sir Integra.” walking to the door, he opened it and let the group walk through. He looked back and found the room empty. ‘Alucard’s most likely already at the training grounds. I wonder what will happen…will Kagome actually get some hits in?’ Integra sighed as she turned back to Walter. “Lead the way. I’m looking forward to this. We‘re not going to the normal training grounds. We‘re going to the ones on the west side of the manor.” Walter’s eyes widened. But those are the training grounds that Seras and Alucard use! Are you sure that Kagome should use them?”
Kagome looked at the two with determination flaring in her eyes. You don’t know what I can do. Is it because of Alucard? Don’t think that I’m weak! I’ve had many people think that and I’ve proved them wrong before!” her eyes took on a serious light as she remembered her first meeting with Inuyasha. She proved to him time and time again that She wasn’t weak…Integra smirked and looked over to Walter. “I’m sure of it Walter. Kagome’s not weak and It will be interesting to see what she can do.” Kagome smiled at her cousin with gratitude. “Can we go now please? I really want to Alucard with some arrows…” Integra nodded and led the way to the western training grounds.

As the group reached the grounds, Kagome looked around. She felt a weird aura around them that she couldn’t describe. ‘It sort of feels like Alucard’s aura but not quite. What is it? What is it about this place…I can’t describe it but it sort of gives me the same feeling that the areas that Naraku visits…’ Kagome’s face took on a thoughtful but serious look as she was lost in her thoughts. She gripped her bow tight as Naraku came to her thoughts again. ‘Naraku will pay…He won’t get the shards as long as I’m around…’ Integra couldn’t sense Alucard through their link anywhere around the training grounds. He most likely was hiding himself from her in the shadows and was observing Kagome to see what she would do.
‘Alucard, where are you? I can’t sense where you are through our link…’ Integra was mad and Alucard could tell from the tone of her voice. ‘I’m at the training grounds like you said master…Where are you?’ his tone was somewhat playful as he answered back. Integra scowled and replied. ‘Just get down here Alucard. Kagome’s waiting for you. We’re all waiting for you to come down here…’
Alucard smirked as he stepped out of the shadows on the training grounds. “Looking for me? I’m right here. Let’s get this started. I want to see what you can do little miko.” looking at her, he grinned devilishly and withdrew an odd looking gun from his trench coat. Seras was the one to see it first and gasped in horror. “Master are you crazy?! You’re using you’re Jackal on Kagome? It’ll kill her!” Integra looked to Alucard with rage. “Alucard what do you think you’re doing! I absolutely forbid you from using you’re Jackal against Kagome in this battle!” Alucard just quickly glanced over to Integra and switched his attention over to Kagome. Kagome began to laugh loudly. “You think he can kill me with that gun? I know what the bullets are made of ‘Tegra. The blessed mercury would just fall to the ground when it touches my aura…”
Everyone was confused. What do you mean Kagome? How would the bullets touch your aura? And how did you know that they were made of blessed mercury?” Kagome’s head was slightly tilted to the side and her eyes were shaded by her hair. “That would take a while to explain. I’ll tell you later.” turning to Alucard, she gripped she bow with one hand and withdrew an arrow from the quiver on her back in one quick movement. Loosely knocking the arrow on her bow, she waited for his move.
Alucard smirked predatorily and crept closer towards Kagome. He was going to see how fast she was with her bow and he knew the way to do it. Circling around her like he was sizing up a piece of meat, he held his Jackal in his right hand all the while grinning at her maniacally. As he completed his fourth circuit around her Kagome snapped. “What in the hell are you doing? Are we going to start this or what?”
Firing a single bullet from his Jackal was his answer. Instead of going through her arm like he thought it would, a blue transparent barrier appeared around Kagome and the bullet was trapped inside it. “I guess you weren’t lying little miko. My jackal’s useless right now. I’m going to have to use my fists against you.” he gave a wide fanged maniacal smile. “This hasn’t happened to me before. Very interesting.” Rushing towards her, he sent a kick to her stomach. Dodging the attack to her stomach, she knocked the arrow , aimed and fired it at his shoulder. Alucard managed to dodge it but his shoulder was burned badly where it was grazed by.
“What did you do to me miko? My skin burns and it won’t heal…” his voice had a tone of anger and wonder in it. Kagome smiled slightly. “So my miko powers affect vampires like it does youkai? Hmm interesting…I’ll heal it later if you want. It’ll just keep burning and it won’t heal if it isn’t treated properly.”
Alucard just scoffed and then appeared in front of her. “The battle’s still on little miko. Even if you managed to graze my shoulder with one of your arrows.” punching her in the stomach, he watched her fall to the ground.
‘Damn…that arrogant bastard sure packs a punch…I need to get an arrow into him…maybe a rosary too…‘ pushing herself up, she withdrew two arrows and fired them in succession. Alucard dodged the first arrow and the second arrow lodged itself into his left shoulder. He could only feel burning pain emanating from his shoulder. Alucard wouldn’t admit it out loud but having the arrow go through his shoulder hurt like hell.
Running towards Kagome again, he reached for both of her shoulders and went to pin her down. This strained his injured shoulder even more and he cringed inwardly. He grasped her shoulders and pushed her to the ground. “How are you going to get out of this little miko?” the grip on her shoulders moved down to her arms and stayed there. He grinned as he saw he struggling to get free.
“Let go of me! You’ll regret it if you don’t!” Alucard just smirked and replied “What can you do to me now? You’re pinned down. You can’t get to your arrows.” His inky black hair framed his pale white face and made his crimson eyes stand out even more. Kagome glared at him harshly. “You’ll be surprised at what I can do.” The blue barrier that he saw before sprang up around her and Alucard was flung back, palms singed and the wound in his shoulder opened even wider.

Staring each other down, the training grounds were eerily quiet. Kagome could sense other auras approaching and they felt like the ghouls that she encountered at her shrine. Speaking loudly for Alucard, and Seras to hear, she asked “Do you feel that? Ghouls are approaching…We’ll have to postpone this for later.” Alucard nodded slowly he could sense the disgusting, vile creatures. They were hiding in the forest, just waiting for their master’s order’s. Seras shook her head in confusion. “What are you talking about Kagome? I don’t sense anything…No hold on…I sense them…”Her voice got a steel edge to it as she searched the forest with her eyes.
Walking up behind Alucard, she whispered quiet enough for him to her. “Do you sense their exact position? I can sense their aura’s but they flicker so much…” Alucard just ignored her and continued to stare at the dark forest line. “Grab the arrow and pull it out. It will burn my hand if I try…” she nodded and reached up. Grasping the arrow, she pulled it out and threw it on the ground. Alucard hissed as he felt the purifying powers tear and burn at his flesh as the arrow was pulled out. Throwing it on the ground, she turned her attention to the tall vampire. “Are you alright?” He turned his head slightly and glared at her from the corner of his eyes. “Stay quiet. They’re going to attack soon.” Grasping his Jackal in his left hand, he grinned as he thought of tearing through the several bodies of the ghouls.
Several dark shapes jumped out from the trees that they were hiding in and rushed toward the group. Alucard smirked evilly and fired a shot. It was placed just right that it went through four ghouls. “Only four? I have to work on my aim a little more.” Two ghouls were racing toward Kagome and she finished them off easily, an arrow going through each of their skulls. As a ghoul that was trying to sneak up on her, Kagome quickly turned around and shot it in the heart. This ghoul was stronger than she rest and she needed to use another arrow to finish it off. Aiming between the eyes, the arrow landed true.
Getting up from her kneeling position, she slowly walked to the forest line where she could sense the last aura coming from. “Come out. We all know that you’re in there.” No one came out and Kagome raised her bow. She took an arrow from her quiver and fired it toward where the aura was the strongest. A shadow jumped out of the foliage and landed a few feet in front of her. Looking at the person, she saw that it was definitely male. Black hair and bright green eyes stood out to against his pale skin. “You wanted to see me fair lady? My name Is Suuichi. Yours is?” he smiled handsomely at her and his long fangs glinted as he opened his mouth. Kagome would have smiled back but she looked at him with disgust. “My name is none of your business. Why are you here?” Suuichi just grinned. “I’m here on the orders of my master. You’re supposed to come with me. Do you want to come quietly or are we going to have to fight about it?”
“I’d never go with you. I guess it’s a fight then.” Suuichi shook his head sadly. “I was hoping that you’d come quietly…” Kagome snorted unladylike. “As if! I’d never go with you.” Without notice, Suuichi lashed out at Kagome and she landed on the ground hard. As she got her wits, Kagome quickly got up onto her feet and dropped down low enough so that she could trip him. She tripped him and with her miko powers acting on reflex, she created a strong barrier around him. His vivid green eyes glared at the miko outside the barrier. “Damn you miko. You may have me trapped inside this barrier but my master will get what he wants!” Alucard walked up on the other side of Kagome. “And who exactly is your master freak?”
“That’s something I’ll never tell you or anyone.” Alucard looked at him coolly. “Are you ready for death? A true one? Not the one that your so called master promised you if you failed him?” True fear entered Suuichi’s eyes and he could almost see himself dying by Alucard’s hands. “I can never speak my master’s name. It is forbidden of me and if I do speak it, I will die instantly anyway, It won’t matter if you kill me.” Kagome shook her head. She had enough already. “Great just great. “What in the hell are we going to do with you now?” Alucard looked at her with an evil grin. “We’re going to kill him. He’s no use to us. He’s not talking and he wouldn’t be any use after he spoke his master’s name anyway. Lower the barrier.”
Kagome nodded and slowly lowered the barrier. As it lowered, it got halfway down and Alucard fired his Jackal. Suuichi just stood dead still like he was in a trance. The bullet went right through him and his body turned to ash. Kagome was surprised. “I wonder why he didn’t try to dodge it? He could have gone down fighting…” Alucard looked over to where the body of Suuichi was. “His master had a hold on his mind. He couldn’t move. He didn’t have a choice.”

Integra , Seras, and Walter were watching the duo from the sidelines and were shocked to see that they were actually talking without Kagome wanting to put an arrow through Alucard’s hide. “It’s amazing what Miss Higurashi’s arrows can do. I wonder, what was that blue light surrounding them?” Walter inquired out loud. Seras nodded. “It sure had it’s affect against the ghouls. How did she put up that blue glowing thing? I heard her say earlier that she was a miko, but what is a miko exactly? I’ve never heard of one.
Integra looked over to her cousin then at Seras and Walter. “If you really want to know, I suggest asking Kagome yourselves“.
