Unexpected Meetings

“So, what are we going to do?” Kagome asked as she was led through the estate. Integra sighed. “You’re going with Alucard and Seras on a mission. Walter has prepared new weapons for you.” Kagome laughed. “Well, I’m looking forward to it.” her eyes gleamed in excitement. Whistling in amazement at all of the weapons that were on the walls, she grinned at Walter. “Ah, Kagome-san. I’m sure Sir Integra has filled you in on what’s happening?” Kagome nodded. “Well then….” He said and pulled out a medium sized case. “I know that you like the bow, but this will help out nicely when you’re low or out of arrows.” Opening the case, Kagome’s eyes widened. It looks like Alucard’s, but smaller…

Walter smiled at her reaction. “Ah yes, it is almost exactly like Alucard’s Jackal, but it is lighter and therefore easier to wield.” Mentally scowling, she smiled at him and took the offered mini jackal. Studying it, she grinned. “This is going to be fun.” Glancing around, she saw that Alucard had stepped out of the shadows. “Hai it will little miko.” She scowled at him. Hugging Walter tightly, she waved goodbye and followed Integra back upstairs. Stopping in front of her room, she turned to her cousin. “I’m going to go and blow off some steam.” She muttered and walked back out and down to the training grounds.

Her eyes darkened as she repetitively fired arrow after arrow into a far off tree. “Damn it all to hell! Naraku, when I find your cowardly hide, you will rue the day you decided to mess with my friends!” Her violet eyes narrowed and became cold. “I will…defeat you…you pathetic excuse for a hanyou!”

“Who are you ‘zalking abou?” She turned around and sighed as she spotted Pip. “Nothing…Just forget about it.” Whistling loudly, he grinned a bit. “You’re really good with ze bow.” Kagome laughed. “Of course, I grew up on a shrine, its tradition!” She smirked as she whirled around and fired an arrow, almost hitting his left shoulder. The soft sound of clapping was heard, and Alucard appeared behind Pip. “quite a good shot little miko. But I don’t fall for the same trick twice.”

Kagome smirked. “How about something different?” A purifying whip appeared in her hands and she grinned as she lashed out at him. “Hey! Waz’ where you’re zrowin za zing!” She laughed as he dived to the ground. “Sorry. I was aiming for fangs here.”

Alucard grinned faintly. “Back to name calling?” she scowled and her whip lashed out again. As she was about to attack again, she stopped short as something fell from the sky and landed in front of them. The dust settled, and Kagome gasped out in shock. “’Roku-kun!” Kneeling before him, she took the semi-unconscious monk into her arms. Patting his face, she grinned as she saw his familiar dark violet orbs. “Kagome-sama? Am I in heaven?” she laughed. “Nope you perverted monk. You’re still on earth. Just in my time though. Very weird.”

Launching straight up, her hands clenched. “Miiiirokkuuu!!!” She growled. He smiled innocently. “I was just brushing a bug off of your robes Kagome-sama!” Kagome smirked. “And you expect me to believe that ‘Roku?” Alucard chuckled. “I take it he’s the sort of common pervert? But little miko, he wasn’t lying. The spider is crushed at your feet.” Kagome scowled. “Shut up fangs!” Looking down, her eyes widened. “I guess you weren’t lying…Sorry ‘Roku.” He smiled faintly and encased her in a hug. “Its alright Kagome-sama.” Kagome’s head snapped to the right as she heard a laugh come from Pip. “And what’s so funny?” He grinned. “I’m surprised he didn’t get hiz head lopped off.” Kagome laughed. “He’s always like that. He has a head that’s like friggin steel.” Miroku pouted. “Awww…Kagome-sama, you don’t have to put it that way.”

Chuckling, kagome glanced at Miroku. “well, do you want to end up my moving target, or do you want to watch me fill Alucard’s hide with arrows?” Miroku shuddered. “Uh…the second option Kagome-sama.” she grinned. “Good choice.” glancing at her in slight confusion, he said softly, “Your aura feels different Kagome-sama…a bit darker, but still pure. Why is that?” Kagome sighed and her violet eyes flashed. “I’ll tell you later ‘Roku, kay?” He nodded and watched as she quickly knocked an arrow on her bow and released it.

Noticing that her power glowed a fierce violet instead of its normal blue, he reminded himself to ask her about that later. “Allluuucard! C’mon, don’t be such a scardy cat! I just want to plaaaay!” Give up my little miko. She grinned as the agitated vampire appeared in front of her. “Bingo.” she whispered and encased him in a barrier. Grinning as she saw the angered glare that he was giving her, she released him, but not after letting her barrier burn him a bit with her miko powers.

“I’m not going to give up anything without a fight fangs. The sooner you learn that, the better.” she snarled, baring her fangs at him. He scoffed and turned his head to his master, who had appeared unexpectedly. “Master.” Integra glanced at kagome. “Alucard, what have you done to my cousin for her to act this way?” He was silent. Kagome’s head snapped to the right slightly. “He was being an annoying bastard that was trying to tell me what to do!” Miroku came up behind her and placed a calmin hand upon her shoulder. “Please calm down Kagome-sama.” Integra cocked a brow. “Kagome-sama?” Kagome grinned. “I’ll explain it later ‘Tegra.” Looking over her shoulder at Miroku, she spoke coolly. “’Roku, if you even ask your ‘famous’ question or touch my cousin in any way, you will not have a man’s most favorite organ. Do you understand me?”

His eyes widened. “O-of course Kagome-sama!.” She grinned. “Good. Now then, ‘Roku, this is my cousin Integra, and ‘Tegra, this is my one of my best friends, Miroku.” Miroku pouted. “Does that mean you’re not going to bear my child Kagome-sama?” Kagome sighed. Must keep my cool…Nevermind! “Hentai houshi!” She slapped him hard across the face, and he fell to the ground, unconscious. The others stared at him with amusement. “Alucard, place him in a room near Kagome’s.” He growled slightly, but did as he was told. Disappearing, Kagome turned to her cousin. “I’ll be back, I’m going into town for a while.”
