Chapter 3

Bloody Fangs

Kagome, Sango, and Rin reached Bloody Fangs. `I should've brought my gun, but no…I had to leave it in the car!' Kagome scolded herself. Under a dim light up a flight of stairs stood a person. No…not a person, a vampire. Kagome narrowed her eyes towards Rin.

“Well here it is!” Rin's voice was excited.

“What is it?” Sango asked.

“Welcome to a vampire strip bar Sango.” Kagome said in an annoyed tone. Sango gasped. She hated vampires; ever since they killed her family and took her little brother as a captive you could say she totally despised them. Kagome couldn't blame her.

“Oh c'mon it's gonna be fun!” Rin cried out grabbing Sango's wrist and hauling her up the stairs. Kagome didn't have a choice; she needed to protect her friends, so she followed.

Entering a vampire approached them w/ a box; she told them to remove their weapons and jewelry. Sango and Rin did it immediately but Kagome hesitated.

“Why, I didn't know you'd come here Kagome.” Kagome averted her gaze to another vampire that approached her. He didn't come too close.

“What do you want Kurama?” Her voice was harsh.

“I'm just surprised you are here. You know you'll have to remove your cross.” Kagome quickly looked down to her cross necklace. She quickly gave him an `I hate you' stare and removed it; placing it unwillingly into the box.

“There happy?” She said crossing her arms. He just smiled but she gave no emotion back.

“Enjoy the show Kagome he said and disappeared into the darkness.” She just walked into the audience; Rin was waving at her to join their table. She just huffed, her neck felt so bare without the protection of her cross.

“The show's about to start!” Rin said excitedly.

“Tell me Rin, have you been here before?”

“Um…no…why do you ask?” She said looking the opposite way. She was definitely hiding something.

The lights in the audience faded slowly and a huge light shined on the stage. A man walked out and the audience cheered. That's when she heard Kurama's voice say

“Who wants a kiss?” Immediately a lot of people raised their hands, including Rin's. The vampire stripper walked over and Rin placed a 20 in his pants. She leaned up and licked his neck. That's when Kagome was shocked.

Two long pointy fangs took place of her K-9's. Rin was a vampire! She then turned to the man and they kissed. Kagome new they tasted each other. She wanted to leave…now!

She got up to leave but her attention turned to Sango. She looked like she was in a daze.

“Sango?” Sango slowly stood up and that's when she heard Kurama say,

“Looks like we have a volunteer to come up to the stage.” Kagome shook her head and went to grab Sango's hand but was stopped by Rin. She pushed Kagome back into her seat.

“This is really cool she's gonna have fun!”

“What are you talking about! She's under a spell!” Kagome yelled and watched helpless as Sango walked up to the man and faced the audience.

“Say her name.” The vampire stripper said.

“SANGO! SANGO WAKE UP SANGO!” She knew it was useless.

“She cannot hear you, even if you come and yell in her ear she will never hear you.”

Kagome watched him circle her like a vulture. Then he snapped his fingers and she slightly jumped.

“Huh…wha…what?” The audience cheered and the vampire stripper yelled out,

“Wasn't she a great volunteer?! Give a round for her!” The audience just cheered again as Sango came back to take her seat.

“You were great Sango!” Rin smiled and Sango just nodded.

“I was? Um…what'd I do?” Kagome stood up to leave again. But froze. She turned back to the stripper he was smiling down at her. She slowly felt her body fade away. Her background darkened…all she could see was him.

In the back of her mind she knew he was putting her under a spell and her body was letting him. `No…' Her mind whispered as darkness consumed her. `No…!' It got a little louder as she clutched the table.

“NO!” The words burst through her lips as she broke the spell fall back onto a table breaking it in half.

“Enough.” Kurama's voice boomed out and he was at her side. She was shaking and he grabbed her arm to help her up.

“Let me go!” She said and tried to wiggle free.

“Please stop, I need to talk to you, act like what had just happened was part of the act.” He whispered to her. “Wasn't she brilliant everyone?!” Kurama asked as the audience did a small cheer. They were unsure of what happened because they too were under the spell.

He led Kagome up the stage and next to the stripper. “ENJOY THE REST OF THE SHOW!” He said and led Kagome back stage. The stripper went down to the audience.

Went they entered the backstage Kurama turned to face Kagome. “Are you going to join us?” He asked, some hope in his eyes.

“NO! For the last t--'' She was cut off as the stripper and Sango entered from the stage. Sango was back to the daze sort of state.

“Then I'm afraid to say is if you will not join us we will have to kill her.” Kurama said pointing towards Sango.

“Wha-what! You wouldn't dare!” Kagome's brow furrowed. “And even if I DO join you, how do you know I'm not gonna kill you all!”

“Because, she will stay with me.” Rin's voice said entering the backstage as well.

“You…YOU SET US UP!” Kagome yelled at Rin, Rin nervously looked to the ground. “I'M GONNA KILL YOU!” Kagome yelled and Kurama put a hand up to stop her.

“We promised Rin that we would not let you harm her. Now, you will join us, or loose your best friend.” Kurama said, something in his voice was saying that he was sorry. But the rest was forceful.

Kagome sighed. She was frustrated. “Fine…I will join you.”

Rei: WHAT DO YOU THINK?! It gets better! PLEASE R&R!

Hikaru: PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE?!
