Bloody Fangs
Chapter 5
The vampire mistress…Kikyo

The voices sounded like a dream. She told herself she was dreaming and she was waking up to the stupid annoying talk radio alarm clock. But soon the feeling rushed to her like ice cold water being splashed onto her. Her head felt horrible, it felt like it was splitting apart. Her body felt so numb, and she felt nausea flowing in waves.
“We shouldn't have moved her.”
“Did you not want to disobey our master?!”
Kagome shifted a tad.
“Kagome?”
She only moaned.
“Kagome are you awake?” She turned her head slightly and she felt the bones in her head move. She groaned and open her eyes but quickly closed them, shutting off the blinding light but the pain stayed.
“Are you alright?” Kagome wondered to herself how people could ask the stupidest questions. I mean, does she look alright?
“Oh yeah Kurama, I'm fine and dandy, couldn't feel better in my whole life.”
“What?” said the female voice owned only to Botan.
“She's kidding. She must be a little find if she's joking.” Kagome wasn't so sure. The pain in her head had increased and she swallowed hard feeling like she was going to puke.
“Can you move Kagome?”
Kagome thought for a moment before answering, “No.”
“Let me rephrase, if I help you, can you sit up?” Another quick pause.
“Maybe.” Two hands curled around her shoulders and lifted her. She could feel the bones in her head slide forward, a huge nausea wave came and her stomach came up into her throat.
“I think I'm gonna be sick.” She said turning around on all fours. The motion was too fast as hot vomit spilled from her mouth onto the floor.
A hand pressed lightly onto her forehead and an arm curled around her stomach. Kurama was speaking French very soothingly, he brought her to his chest and she was too weak to protest.
Du ciel à l'enfer, des uknown à dire, j'invite la permission de l'aider à guérir, à lui prendre la douleur et à l'écarter loin, et laisse elle joindre mon âme et le corps aujourd'hui.” He spoke softly. She couldn't understand but suddenly she felt the pain leave her so it hurt just barely. It was bearable now. She felt her face and mouth be patted by a damp rag.
“Kurama! What have you done?!” Botan cried out.
“You saw her condition! She was in need of a hospital not more beatings!” Kurama glared toward Sesshomaru. Kagome stared up to Kurama, she was still in his arms.
“What did you say? What did you do? What happened to my pain?” He looked down at her with a frown.
“Silly girl! He has taken the first step!” Botan spoke.
“What do you mean?!” Kagome snapped back.
“I joined our souls…” Kurama trailed off. Kagome blinked at him.
“So…you're feeling my pain right now?”
“No. I just ceased it is all.”
“And more than that!” Botan announced, she sounded slightly amused. “You shouldn't have Kurama, she's going to be pissed.”
“What?!” Kagome shouted in pure annoyance. Her patients were wearing on a thin rope.
“He has taken the first step of you becoming his human servant. Which means…” She went on so she didn't have to explain after Kagome asked, “ you'll age as fast as we do, you'll never die until your vampire master dies.” Kagome had scooted out of Kurama's arms.
“What?! Why?! How could you!” She was yelling and her face was turning red. Kurama didn't look at her. He could feel her anger, her hate.
Kurama finally looked up at her, she gasped. The look on his face wanted to make her cry. He looked hurt, and sorrowful, he looked like he wanted to hold her and cry saying he was sorry. He only gave her that look once…only once until now.
“C'mon Kurama, we have work to do.” Kurama turned as the other two walked through the door of the room. Kurama looked back to her and then turned and closed the door behind him. She sat there on the table in a dead silence.

An hour passed, or at least Kagome guesses an hour passed as she sat there in that room staring at the ceiling. She couldn't get Kurama's face out of her mind. His face…how could anyone forget that face.
There was a sudden sound and something came through the door. It was big and furry. Kagome scrambled to her feet and looked at the big giant looking man, but wasn't really a man. It was part rat too.
It was a rare thing to see ware rats nowadays but when you see them they could be as deadly as a ware wolf. And they're not merciful like the ware wolf sometimes can be.
It stared at her with big beady red eyes and smirked.
“What do you want?” Kagome said coldly. She was feeling around for her knives. Unfortunately, she found that all her knives had been stripped from her sheaths. Not surprising.
“Why don't you come with me and find out what fangs and fur really does.” It spoke and as it did it stroked its hand down its stomach and down to its pride and joy below. Kagome couldn't help it as her eyes followed, seeing upon this she turned and blushed a little.
“Is that SUPPOSED to impress me?” She heard him growl a little bit.
“What are you talking about human?! This is huge!” Kagome let out a laugh.
“That wimpy thing! I've seen better from turkey sandwiches!” She still wasn't looking at the ware rat. She could feel his anger and humiliation.
“You don't know what you're talking about!” He yelled.
“Maybe I am.” She smirked. It lunged at her and she dodged. She couldn't let it touch her, scratch her or anything.
“Why are you so scared?”
“Why are you so small?”
The ware rat grabbed onto her and sent them tumbling onto the ground. She kicked him off. She could feel her heart pounding in her throat as she scrambled back to her feet. She didn't get scratched, good.
“Why you little bitch.” It hissed out at her. It lunged at her again, this time her mind hesitated for a moment. Just one moment and she was down on the ground. He smirked at her, baring his sharp teeth.
“Get…off…of me!” she yelled kicking him hard down below sending him flying backwards and hitting a wall. Suddenly a brown spot flowed from underneath the door and got bigger.
A swarm of rats hurried at Kagome. The ware rat stood and smirked.
“Kill her.” A rat jumped up at her and she hit it away. More crawled up her legs. She let out a fearful shriek. The ware rat's smile never fading. Another rat jumped up and clung onto the skin between her thumb and pointer finger.
“Get off me you little pest!” She grabbed the rat by the middle and yanked it off, taking a chunk of skin with it. She clasped her bleeding hand and yelled at an ear piercing scream, “Kurama!”
“He's not going to save you.” The ware rat said chuckling.
“Stop!”
“Why?” She looked at him and then to the swarming killer rats and spoke softly.
“I'll give myself to you.” The ware rat looked stunned. Like he couldn't believe the words she just spoke. He snarled a little and the little vermin backed up suddenly and scurried back to their master.
He smirked. “Good.” He began to crawl after her. She smirked at him and put her hand behind her back.
“Don't move. Or I'll kill you.”
“You've got no weapons on you!”
“Oh really?” She said moving her hand a little. Even if this was a bluff, she had to keep it up, she just had to. He stared at her trying to read her face but she kept it as real as possible.
“We'll just see.” He said it like he was going to attack but hesitated.
“Really? And when will you see? I don't see you movin.” She spoke in a somewhat tempting way. She wanted him to attack her, she had a plan.
“Don't think I'm stupid!”
“No I don't think…I know.” She grinned. “Just like I know you couldn't even please a bug with your manhood.” This was the last straw, he jumped at her, just what she wanted. Her legs went up curled to her chest and when he came close enough she kicked as hard as she could, sending him up and through the roof. He wasn't gonna come back, at least, not for hours.
The other little vermin looked horrified and scurried back under the door. Kagome was safe…for now. She panted and held her bleeding hand again. Did this mean she was gonna be turned into a ware rat. No. She wasn't bitten by the ware rat himself.
Suddenly the door swung open. “Oh… what happened to the rats?”
“They ran.”
“What did they do?”
“They had their luck.” Kagome said showing her her bleeding hand.
“Did they scare you?”
Kagome shrugged. Botan scanned her face but Kagome made it look like she wasn't even fazed by it.
“Those rats didn't do their job. Well, c'mon, she awaits.”
“You're master?”
“Who do you think I'm talking about?!” Kagome stood and followed Botan out of the door. She was finally going to meet this Master of theirs. And she hell as hopped that this wasn't going to be hard.

They entered a dark open place, lit only with tortes. A huge shadowed figure sat on a chair on a huge upper landing overlooking the room. She got a huge shiver but strained herself to make it just a little.
“Well, well, well. So you are the Vampire Exterminator are you not?” Came a deep and shrill voice. It could make even zombies go insane. She looked down upon Kagome.
“Tell me, Kagome is it? How old am I?” Kagome stared up at her, her long black hair tied back; her eyes were cold and soulless. Kagome shrugged.
“I don't know.”
“You don't know? I thought you said she was good Kurama.”
“She is.”
“Are you Kikyo?” Kagome asked trying to change the subject.
“Yes I am. Now don't change the subject, tell me this then, how old is Botan?” Kagome looked over to Botan, who was looking away.
“A hundred. Maybe a hundred and fifty no more, no less.”
“You're right Kurama, she is good.” Kikyo said with a smirk. She walked down the stairs and came so close to Kagome that Kagome could smell her breath. It smelled of mints but behind that it smelled of blood, a fresh kill.
“Heh. You're breath smells of blood.” Kagome said with a smirk. Kikyo glared at her. Suddenly Kagome felt something in her mind. It was as if her mind was tearing apart. She fell to the floor and not acknowledging it. She had a sudden urge to praise Kikyo, to indulge her, what was she thinking to act such a way to Kikyo.
Her hand hit the stoned floor hard. Her arm went numb.
“No.”
Her hand hit even harder, still no good. She hit her hardest, making it bleed. “NO!” She was shaking, she could feel Kikyo's mind fade from her's.
“So tell me, Kagome, how old am I?” Kagome held her bleeding hand and said in a shaky voice.
“A thousand…maybe more.” Kikyo smiled and bent down in front of her. Kikyo stared her in the eye.
“Do as I say or I'll peel your mind like a union. You do believe I can do that, can't you?”
She believed.
