Basically this chapter is kind of a filler chapter as I reacquaint myself with my story. Not really any action, hopefully I can get a more action filled chapter up sometime next week. Sorry for the long wait.

long delay in this story, between computer issues and finishing up my undergraduate
psychology degree I didn't have a lot of time to work on the plot on top of which I forgot
where I was going with it. Hopefully I will be able to update more regularly from now on. ***
Chapter 9 Calm
(Sengoku )
The group had arrived at Keade's hut several hours earlier and Alecto was still
asleep, though hero wounds looked much better than then had upon arrival in the
village. Everyone was talking in small groups, either catching up or discussing the
days events.
Every so often Kagome and Shippo would check on Alecto, while the others
watched. About Midnight Alecto stirred gaining the attention of Sesshomaru and
Youko as they were the only ones still awake, Sesshomaru helped her to sit up and
brought her some tea before saying anything to her. "That was a rather stupid
thing to do Alecto." Alecto snorts "Perhaps but it has given us a slight advantage
Sesshou." She then set about going through supplies and organizing them.
Next morning (sengoku)
Alecto had tea and breakfast ready as the slightly larger group started to wake,
though she was nowhere in the hut. Kagome went to find her and discovered her
at the edge of the village going through a series of exercises. As Alecto finished
she turned and looked at Kagome with a grin "Good as new!" Kagome rolled her
eyes a little before they both headed back to the hut.
The day was spent with Alecto working with Shippo and Kagome, going through
some of there exercises and techniques and the rest of the group practicing and
watching them.
Ningenkai
War was pacing Alecto's living room with Kane, trying to put together then
information that he had come across it was just bits and pieces, nothing
complete and it didn't make any sense and what he could make out was making
him nervous. He decided to go have a talk with his siblings and see if they could
or would help him out.
Sengoku
In his castle Naraku was trying to turn this new set of events his way, on the one
had this new female was powerful and would be a great asset, however if she
couldn't be convinced she would be a powerful enemy. In any case she was out of
the way for the time being. Sinister laughter rang through the halls of the castle.
