In this story the group is out of high school. They are 18or 19 years old. They graduated while Genkai was training them.

Hiei took to the trees to wait his turn with the powerful miko. It was seven in the morning and Kagome's training had just gotten started.

A young girl sat on a bed playing with a kitsune kit. "Shippo, we've been here for almost two years now. Do you think I should tell them all about Inuyasha and the gang?" The young cub looked at his mother, the laughter fading from his eyes. "I know Kurama would understand but will the others mommy?" Kagome sighed, "I don't know if they'll understand but we have to trust them. Right?" "If you really want to we can tell them first thing in the morning." As he spoke the young kit launched himself at his mother tickling her till she was red in the face, her laughter echoing throughout the house.

As the sun began to peek over the horizon, tinting the sky pink, Kagome jumped out of bed. She glanced at her sleeping son. He had grown so much in the past months. She smiled fondly at him, while she laid his workout outfit next to him. She skipped into the bathroom, with her own workout outfit. Shippo woke to the sound of running water. He smiled shaking her head, his mother always showered before and after her workout. By the time she bounced out of the bathroom, much like Shippo bounced around the room, Shippo was already changed and weighted down ready to go for their daily jog. Shippo wore a pair of baggy midnight blue pants, and a pale orange muscle shirt. He no longer wore his hair in a bow but wore it loose. It came to just below his shoulders. He had also had a growth spurt, instead of the small kit he had been; he now looked like an eight or nine year old human child. Kagome also wore a pair of baggy pants but hers were black not blue. Her shirt was a tight green tank top that showed off her toned body. Her hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail. She wore weights on her arms and ankles like Shippo. Giggling she walked over to her son, "Alright Shippo its time for our run, but we have to do something about those ears." As she spoke she rubbed his ears, which had started to move to the top of his head. Her hands briefly glowed blue, and Shippo felt like someone was trickling water on him. He couldn't control the shiver that ran through his body. Glancing at the mirror, he was shocked to see that he looked like a brown-haired version of Sota. He smiled at his mother. "Can we go now?" He questioned already bouncing to the door. Kagome shook her head; her kit had so much energy. She sighed and ran out the door chasing her son.

Kagome ran everyday twice a day always weighted down. Shippo also ran with his mother but instead of the six miles she jogged he only jogged three miles. The other three miles Kagome carried him piggyback style. Everyday their jogs took them to the Higurashi Shrine. Kagome would go there and visit her family before returning to Genkai's. Today was no exception. She jogged to her old house, running up the steps to see her family, she felt a familiar power swell up. Gasping she took the stairs two at a time. Shippo was running to try and keep up. She reached the top as a familiar figure walked out of the old well house.

Yusuke, Kuwabara, Hiei, Kurama, and Genkai leapt out of bed. They all felt the power surge. Yusuke ran into Botan's room yelling at her to get up. "Botan WAKE UP! We need a portal now." "Huh? What? Where? What are you doing in my room? GET OUT!" The angered reaper whacked Yusuke over the head with her oar. "Okay I'm up where do you need to go?" "Do you sense the ancient power that recently was activated?" Kurama asked. "Oh you need to go to the Higurashi Shrine…No problem…but you might want to wake him up." She laughed and opened the portal. Hiei and Kuwabara walked through the portal without sparing Yusuke a second glance. Kurama shook his head and pulled the unconscious spirit detective through the portal.

"Mommy is that…?" Shippo was so stunned he couldn't complete the sentence. Kagome on the other hand took up a defensive position. "What are you doing here?" She questioned the child. She felt the power of the well again and nearly fell on her butt when a young lady walked out of the well carrying a small bundle. "S...Sango? Is that you?" Kagome questioned just as she felt Botan's power to her right. Glancing over she saw the boys walk out, well all the boys except Yusuke who was still unconscious. Hiei looked from Sango to Kohaku. He didn't know who they were or why they were here. To be completely honest he didn't care. Kohaku pulled out his Kusari-gama and whipped it at Hiei who had pulled out his katana blade. Kagome ran to Yusuke and begun to heal him. She shook her head as she listened to the boys fight. As Yusuke started grumbling she jumped to her feet and ran to Sango, Shippo right at her side. "What are you doing here Sango? How did you get through the well? Where's Miroku?" At the last question Sango's eyes filled with tears. She looked at the group of dumbfounded boys and then at Hiei and Kohaku, "Can we go inside please? Samiru and Kain need to go down for a nap." Kagome looked for the first time in the bundle Sango held. Inside was a small male child. "Okay we can go inside but um are you aware that you are only holding one child." "Oh, I wanted to make sure you were here before I brought Samiru out, hang on…Samiru sweetie, it's okay you can come out." As she spoke a child of about three walked out of the old well house. At the sight of her Kohaku stopped fighting and walked to her side. Hiei landed and went to stand with the spirit detectives. They looked at Kagome with questions in their eyes. Even Hiei was curious and he let it show. "Um…I think we should explain shouldn't we Shippo." She looked from her old friends to her new friends. At Shippo's affirmative nod, she sighed and hung her head. "I think we should go inside. It will be more comfortable." She had begun to walk away with Shippo to her left when a small hand slipped into her own. Startled Kagome looked down into clear blue eyes. "Are you my Auntie Kagme?" Samiru asked innocently. Kagome laughed at the hopeful expression on Samiru's angelic face. "Yes, sweetie I am your Auntie, but why don't you call me Kags. Its easier to say then Kagome." Samiru smile at the miko. Kagome felt her heart twist. She could have had this but she let him slip away. Sighing once again and begun to lead the way into the house. Sango carrying Kain followed Kagome into the house. Kohaku stopped at the door glaring at the teenage boys. He looked from one to the other, "If you harm either of my sisters or my niece and nephew, I will personally kill each and everyone of you." His words were harsh and clipped. "Listen up pipsqueak, Kagome is our friend were would never hurt her or her family. No move so we can go inside." Yusuke said to the demon exterminator. "You have your warning." With that Kohaku walked inside the house. The spirit detectives followed the fuming boy. Inside the house they were met with a strange sight. Kohaku was wrestling with another boy of about the same age and Shippo. Kagome was laughing at the sight and Sango was trying to break the battle up. "Boys if you wake my babies I will see to it that Kagome make rosaries for each and every one of you." Seeing the seriousness in her face they gulped and stood up. "We're sorry." They apologized before turning to each other, wicked gleams in their eyes. "Kagome, mom is out with Grandpa, she'll be back later. How about we play video games?" Sota called out as her raced to the living room with Kohaku and Shippo right behind him. "I play first." "I play winner." Could be heard over the sound of crashing cars. Kagome looked at the boys, when she saw the questioning looks she was getting, she knew there was no way out of it. Today she would finally tall them who she was.

"Okay to begin the other boy you saw, not the one you fought was my brother Sota, Kohaku is the one you fought. He is like my brother. This is Sango she is like my sister. Kohaku and Sango are brother and sister. The children are Kain and Samiru, Sango's children, my niece and nephew." She said this all in a rush. She began to fidget, trying to figure out the best way to start. "Well you see…Um…Sango and Kohaku are from five hundred years in the past. I met them when I fell down the well on my fifteenth. <Insert Story Here> So, you see the Shikon Jewel was my responsibility. I finally put it back together and it granted each of my friends a wish. There was a total of four wishes, and as soon as the last wish is granted the Shikon No Tama will finally release the four souls held inside. If the wish is a purely unselfish, then there will be no undue side effects, but if the wish is selfish there will be dire consequences. Miroku wished for the dead pack to come back to life, purely unselfish, Sango wished for Inuyasha and Kohaku's injuries to be healed, and for Kohaku not to remember the evil he had done while under Naraku's control. Again an unselfish wish, now the hanyou Inuyasha <She winced slightly while saying his name> he wished for his dead miko girlfriend Kikyo to be brought back to life. He also wished for her soul to be restored to her, knowing the possibility that it could kill me. His wish was selfish therefore the jewel cause the once human Kikyo to be turned into a hanyou just like Inuyasha. When my turn came I chose to save my wish for another time. I wasn't prepared to make a wish just yet.

Hiei didn't feel like commenting he was lost in his own thoughts. He couldn't believe that Kagome had been in so much danger. Hiei just didn't understand how someone could choose anyone over Kagome. She wasn't gorgeous yet she wasn't plain either. Why am I think about her, she is nothing to me just a stupid human girl.

While Hiei was lost in thought Yusuke and Kuwabara were trying to understand Kagome's story. "So wait you traveled back in time to fight and evil demon, broke a jewel, met some people, put said jewel back together, and made a wish?" "Yeah pretty much." Kuwabara grabbed Sango's hand, "Will you be my girlfriend?" Sango looked at him, her eyes wide. Kagome stood over him and hit him in the head with her weights. "Stupid baka. She has children of her own. That reminds me," Turning to the brown haired girl at her left she questioned, "Where's Miroku and how did you get here?" At her questions Sango began to cry.
