Kagome stood over him and hit him in the head with her weights. "Stupid baka. She has children of her own. That reminds me," Turning to the brown haired girl at her left she questioned, "Where's Miroku and how did you get here?" At her questions Sango began to cry.

Kuwabara lay unconscious on the kitchen floor mumbling something about flying lobsters and midget monkeys. The boy, Sota, Shippo, and Kohaku, were playing video games in the living room while Kagome tried to get her friend's story out of her. Hiei was sitting on the windowsill staring outside, while Kurama and Yusuke were trying to calm the crying girl. "Oh Kagome, it was terrible! I couldn't stop it. I watched him get ripped apart by that awful demon. We didn't defeat all the evil Kagome, Hakudoushi still lives. I came to warn you, he can travel to your time and he wants not only the jewel but you as well." Everyone was surprised when Hiei growled at that statement. They looked at him startled. He just returned their stares with an evil glare. After they turned back to the conversation at hand, Hiei was stunned. Why was he having this sort of reaction to the human girl? He didn't care for her, but the thought of someone wanting his Kagome upset him. Kuwabara began to stir on the ground. He sat up with a jerk knocking his head against the cabinet door. Buyo jumped into his arms as he tried to stand. "OOOOH! Look at the pretty fat cat." He started playing with the cat unaware of the turmoil the group was in. Kagome was crying, the tears ran own her face. Her beloved friend was gone. A thought occurred to her. "Sango, where's Kilala?" She questioned the grieving widow. "She was killed as well trying to save Miroku." Kagome began to cry even harder. By now Sota, Shippo, and Kohaku had stopped playing their video games and had come to see what the commotion was about. Kohaku was extremely upset. He needed to blow off some steam. He grabbed his Kusari-gama and ran out the door. "Shippo follow him, make sure he doesn't get hurt, fight him if you have to." Kagome called out to her son. Shippo ran out the door after his best friend. "Sota I need you to watch the children okay?" She asked her brother. He nodded slowly still not sure what was going on. Yusuke had left to phone Genkai and tell her about the evil Hakudoushi dude. Sango was passed out, to emotional drained to even stay awake. Kurama looked at the sleeping body of Sango. He sent a questioning glance at Kagome. At her brief nod he picked Sango up and laid her on the living room couch. After covering her with a blanket, he returned to the conversation in the kitchen. Kagome sat with her head in her hands. Silent sobs shook her body. "I can't believe Miroku's dead. How could we have over looked Hakudoushi? He was…is ten times worse then Naraku." She shook her head, "This is my fault. I should have known that he was still alive. I can't beat him myself but I can't involve Sango or you guys. It's way to dangerous. Damn I'll have to ask him for help." Kurama and Hiei looked up as she said this. They knew who she was talking about, the hanyou Inuyasha.
