Chapter 1

 

 

 

 

It is one p.m and it has been one day since Lina moved into the thieves palace. Yoko, Kuronue, Yomi, and Sesshomaru could mostly find her with Rin exploring the palace laughing and giggling female stuff they didn't bother with assuming they were catching up on lost time. Yoko, Kuronue, Sesshomaru, and Yomi were in the library discussing important business when they heard a far away yet most definantly a scream from Lina.

 

"One day here and already in trouble." Yomi said as Yoko sighed and left the library heading down the hallway to Rin and Lina's room with Yomi, Kuronue, and Sesshomaru behind him. After going through many twist and turns through different hallways they finally came upon the two girls room. Yoko opened the door to find Lina hanging on the chandelier with one hand while pointing to something one the floor with her other hand screaming get it out it is a blubbery nasty green thing. When the four demons looked down there was Jaken standing to where Lina was pointing at and Rin was on her bed laughing.

 

"Lina get down that is master Jaken you are going to fall." Rin said still giggling.

 

"And why is Jaken in here?" Sesshomaru asked looking at Rin seeking answers.

 

"I don't know." Rin answered as there was a huge thump. Looking up Lina had fell on her butt as Rin started laughing again as Yoko sighed and walked up to Lina who had stood up and started whiping herself off who was wearing a new pink kimono that stopped above her knees.

 

"I see a servant didn't fail to bring you new clothes as I requested." Yoko said.

 

"Yeah she brought me alot of kimonos." Lina said still brushing her tail off.

 

"Let me see your ankle." Yoko said kneeling down in front of Lina to study her recently wounded wrapped ankle. Lina held up her foot as Yoko grabbed her ankle with his left hand as he placed his right hand on her ankle. Lina then grabbed on to Yoko's shoulders so she won't fall as she felt a warm energy flow through her ankle. Looking down she noticed a healing energy flowing from his hand into her ankle. Yoko then ripped the bandages from her ankle revealing not so much as a scar as he released her leg. Standing up Yoko then grabbed her right arm that was wrapped in bandages from recently being wounded as he healed that and ripped the bandages away. Yoko then placed his hand on Lina's stomach as he healed the wound. Not really appreciating that Yoko's hand was on her stomach Lina just stayed silent as the warm energy flowed through his hand. After Yoko was done he turned around about to leave the room when Lina stopped him by yelling stop. Yoko then turned around with a questioning look on his face seeing what the hanyou kitsune wanted.

 

"Thank you. I um also have a problem." Lina said giving Yoko, Kuronue, Sesshomaru, and Yomi her best pleading eyes.

 

"Hey you show lord Sesshomaru such a lack of respect wench!" Jaken yelled as Lina unexpectantly kicked back kicking the toad in the face.

 

"What is it?" Yoko asked wanting to hear what this girl had to say.

 

"You see my personal belongings are in the nearby village and I don't want to have to hurt anyone to get them back because I know the villagers won't be to welcoming."

 

"You were the one we found beaten." Yomi said.

 

"Yeah but instead of hurting the people I ran yet in though the guys who did cut me with thier swords I did freeze by sending my ice powers through the sword but still the villagers got alot of my personal items and my most treasured item, my lock it." Lina explained.

 

"A lock it are you serious?" Yomi said clearly saying how immature.

 

"No see my parents gave me that lock it. It has a picture of my mom and dad truth be told the last time I seen my dad was after my mom was killed I don't know if he is dead or alive so it means alot to me besides my mother told me to keep that lock it with me and don't disguard it or if I am in danger something tragic will happen."

 

"And you are asking us to?" Kuronue asked to see what she wanted.

 

"Come with me so I won't have to hurt any one just to get my stuff back because I don't want to hurt or kill anyone please?" Lina begged as she got on both knees with her pleading expression still on. "Uh Yoko could you get a little shorter I am breaking my neck here?"

 

"Why should we?" Yomi asked as tears started spilling out of Lina's eyes.

 

"Okay just no tears." Yoko said sighing once again. Lina instantly brightened up and smiled thanking the four demons as they anime fell.

 

"Okay she has skills." Kuronue said acknowledging Lina.

 

"We will depart in half an hour we will come and get you." Yoko said as he turned around with the other three an started to proceed out of the room.

 

"Come on Jaken leave these two alone." Sesshomaru said as the toad answered him with a yes my lord and started walking behind the four others. Lina held up her hand and shot a small ice ball hitting Jaken in the head making him fall on his face with a scream as Rin busted out with laughter. Yoko, Kuronue, Sesshomaru, and Yomi then turned around seeing what was wrong with the toad demon as he got up rubbing the back of his head as Lina walked over to her bed and sat down.

 

"My lord that wench hit me in the back of the head with something!"

 

"Like I said it is always that wench refering to the half demon because I'm a half demon."

 

"And she hit you with?" Yoko asked.

 

"I don't know it felt like an ice ball."

 

"Ice in the palace who you are real smart there hasn't been any snow or ice in a while if anything the chandelier shot and light bulb at you for being so *dramatic pause* uglay." With Lina saying ugly funny making Rin bust out laughing.

 

"Lets go Jaken." Sesshomaru said to make the toad shut up.

 

"But my lord she assaulted me I say she needs justice!" Jaken yelled pointing at Lina.

 

"And you need some heavy duty soap to scrub all that ugliness off of your face. Oh wait that is impossible." Lina said making Rin giggle some more. This was highly unusual Sesshomaru never seen Rin smile or laugh so much.

 

"I know you shot the ice ball Lina because I can smell when some one lies but why are you picking on Jaken?" Yoko said clearly wanting some answers.

 

"He came in the room telling me that I need to find somewhere else to live because you guys don't like half demons and especially not Sesshomaru and he has a half demon brother. He said that you guys were going to execute me for showing you such a lack of respect and that the other thieves were going to kill me just for being here. I didn't look up until he said all of his nasty words but I seen his hideous, hideous, hideous, hideous, hideous face and I jumped up screaming while holding on to the chandelier. And you can smell when some one is lying I guess you can also smell when some one is uglay."

 

"She is lying I said no such things!" Jaken yelled trying to defend himself.

 

"Actually she is telling the truth you are the that I smell is lying." Yoko said as he turned around and left the room with Yomi, Kuronue, Sesshomaru, and Jaken following as he closed the door.

 

"I don't think Yomi or Jaken likes me very much." Lina said lying down staring at the ceiling of her new room as she put her hands behind her head.

 

"Jaken is always a meanie but I don't know about Yomi. I think Yoko likes you I have seen others get injured but I have never seen him heal them but then you come and he heals you." Rin explained.

 

"I see. Truth be told he isn't bad looking in fact him, Kuronue, and Sesshomaru are good looking but my attention is mostly directed towards Yoko. In fact I haven't seen three good looking guys in one place I usually see one once a month."

 

"I knew you liked Yoko." Rin said pointing at Lina as if accusing her of a crime.

 

"You think." Lina said sitting up blushing.

 

"Yeah and your blushing." Rin said giggling as Lina turned away.

 

"I don't know what you are talking about!"

 

"Lina and Yoko sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G first comes love then comes marriage then comes a baby in a baby carriage."

 

"Be quiet you little brat." Lina said jumping over to Rin's bed playfully ruffling her hair.

 

"Stop it!" Rin screamed while laughing as Lina stopped.

 

"Anyways that Yomi guy is just plain creepy I mean he gives me the chills. I mean Yoko, Kuronue, and Sesshomaru look sort of intimidating but Yomi is just I don't know." Lina said shuddering at his name.

 

"Well I guess I should get ready to get my items and while I am at it brush your hair you little brat." Lina said getting up heading toward the bathroom to rebrush her hair and get prepared to leave while removing the bandages off of her stomach while she is at it. After about a few moments Lina left the bathroom and walked over to Rin who was on her bed with a brush. Lina started brushing Rin's hair as the twelve year old girl started talking.

 

"So do you really like Yoko?" Rin asked.

 

"Don't know I don't really know him that well." Lina answered.

 

"You know what you two would make a good couple." Rin said unexpectantly.

 

"You know earlier I had the sudden urge to rub his ears they just look so tempting and fluffy." Lina told the girl.

 

"I guess you also want to feel Kuronue's wings and feel lord Sesshomaru's marks on his face and that fluffy stuff." Rin added.

 

"You know me well but not as much as I want to feel Yoko's ears I guess it is a girl thing." Lina answered as there was a knock at the door.

 

"Come in!" Lina yelled still doing Rin's hair as Yoko, Kuronue, Sesshomaru, Yomi, and Jaken walked in the room to see Lina sitting on Rin's bed brushing her hair.

 

"Lina I going to tell him." Rin said in a sing song voice.

 

"Tell who what?" Kuronue asked.

 

"Hey Yoko Lina said." Lina then covered up Rin's mouth.

 

"Lina said what." Yoko asked quirking and eyebrow.

 

"Lina said nothing." Lina said in a quick panicy voice as she whispered in Rin's ear, "You are such a brat I am going to get you."

 

"That is if I don't egt you first." Rin responded after Lina removed her hand.

 

"Yeah tell us little miss foxy what did you say about Yoko?" Kuronue said.

 

"I bet she was planning on attacking you." Jaken said trying to get Lina in trouble as she stood up.

 

"I am getting sick and tired of that hideous green thing can I please hurt it!" Lina yelled pointing at Jaken.

 

"No." Yomi said just because he doesn't care for Lina.

 

"So what did you say about Yoko?" Kuronue asked once more. Lina then ran past the five at the door yelling see you later and come on guys. With that Yoko, Kuronue, Sesshomaru, and Yomi just followed. When they made it to the woods the demons jumped through trees with incredible speed.

 

"So Yoko what is your plan?" Lina yelled at the spirit fox.

 

"When we get to the village we will hang low while you get your belongings but if things get ugly we will step in."

 

"Basically you guys will scramble like eggs and break fast?" Lina said.

 

"No just stay out of sight." Yoko replied.

 

When they finally made it to the village Yoko, Kuronue, Yomi, and Sesshomaru hid only to reveal themselves if need be as they kept an eye on Lina. As soon as Lina walked into the village she heard a guy yell something like that half breed wench is back for another ass kicking. Soon all of the villager males were gathering with guns and rocks to kill Lina.

 

"Wench I thought I told you that if you return we were killing you!" One of the villagers yelled.

 

"Remember your other five friends who tried to kill little ol me but was frozen do you want that to be you." Lina said clearly stating the facts.

 

"Like we will let you freeze us we are here to kill you not talk so come on!" Another villager yelled.

 

"Look I didn't come for trouble I only came to get my things."

 

"Come on then sweet stuff that is if you live!" Another villager yelled.

 

"I tried to warn you." Lina said as she held up her right hand, separated her fingers, and shot out a light blue blasst that looked like a light which collided with one of the of villagers and froze them from head to toe. Just then a villager shot Lina in her left arm which a twelve gage shotgun as Lina fell to her knees with a scream and grabbed her arm luckily it only grazed her. With Yoko, Kuronue, and Sesshomaru ready to jump down and handle the situation they suddenly stopped. Lina's scent changed from a half demon to a full demon as a strong ominous wind started to form around Lina as a deep growl came from her. The villagers then started shoting her with thier guns as she started running at them with extended claws ready to kill all of the villagers which was the thing she didn't want to do.
