Capter 5
Sango looked out the window as the last of the sunlight vanished. Kirara was on her shoulder purring contently. Her attention was drawn to the door as it opened, Sesshoumaru was standing just outside the door that was supposed to be her's and Kagome's room.

He looked at Sango for a moment before stepping to the side, letting Rin and Shippo enter. Sesshoumaru stepped inside as well, "Rin wished to tell you goodnight before she went to bed."

Sango nodded absently as she looked Sesshoumaru over a few times. "Where are Inuyasha and Miroku?" Rin ran up to her and hugged her.

"They have been in the dining hall for some time now." He reguarded her coldly, he could smell her anger towards him. He did not care, Kagome was his mate of her own free will.

Rin ran back out into the hall and waited patiently for Sesshoumaru. Shippo had already fallen asleep on the bed. Sesshoumaru turned his back on the human.

"And Kagome?"

He stopped and turned his face to look at her, "What about my mate?"

"Where is she?" Her face held anger at him. Sango wouldn't let Sesshoumaru keep Kagome from being with her friends.

"Kagome is asleep in our room with Yue. You will see her tomorrow, until then I suggest you keep your comments to yourself."

"My comments? What comments would that be?"

"I know you were asking Inuyasha and the monk about my mating Kagome. If you respect her in the least you will ask her not the other two." He nearly growled when her eyes narrowed at him. "You wish to challenge me? I will not let you do anything to hurt Kagome."

"Me hurt her?! You made her your mate! This mating came from out of nowhere and just after you become our ally. This is way too suspicious for my liking, and I know you forced her in some way!"

He growled loudly, "You will accuse me of no such lies human. If I wanted to mate simply for gain you think I'd mate a human?"

She said nothing.

"I mated Kagome because I..." His eyes turned up and he stayed quiet.

Sango looked at him in real fear, "Sesshoumaru?"

He sighed and looked back down at her, "I must go, it seems that my brother is waking my mate." He glared at her, "I will not have this discussion with you ever again Sango. I care for my mate and I will protect her."

Sango looked down, "I just don't want you to lock her away."

He chuckled lightly, "No one is or could be capable of locking Kagome away, besides," He continued, "I've made her stronger by mating her. And her strength, power, beauty, everything she is stem from her strong sense of independence. Why would I take that away?" He walked from the room not waiting for her response.

Sango looked at the door in wonder, 'Maybe I was wrong about this.' She sighed, "I need to talk to Kagome about this before I continue blaming Sesshoumaru."

"Kagome! Open up I know you are in there!" Inuyasha repeatedly beat on Sesshoumaru and Kagome's door. He needed to talk to Kagome about the Shikon shards and Sango. "Open the door!"

"Go away Inuyasha! I was trying to sleep!" Her answer was muffled by the door that stood between them.

"Why the hell are you sleeping!? It's not even that late! Open the door or I will break it down!"

"If you do Sesshoumaru will kill you!"

"It's just a door I doubt he'll care! He could have it fixed in no time!" He hit the door with his fist, "Open the damned door Kagome!"

"Inuyasha sit!"

Inuyasha glared at the door from his spot on the floor. Once the spell had worn off he jumped up and pulled out the Tetsusaiga. As he swung his feet lost balance and he toppled backwards. "What the-" He looked up.

"Tell me half-breed what are you doing?" Sesshoumaru's cold eyes regarded Inuyasha in boredom.

Inuyasha pointed to the door, "Your mate will not let me in!"

"Were you not told that my chambers are off limits? Perhaps you were not listening." He stepped over Inuyasha and pushed his door open. "I will bring my mate out here. Wait here hanyou or you will pay for your impatients." He then shut the door.

Inuyasha sat up and put Tetsusaiga away. He sat quietly on the floor waiting for his brother to bring Kagome out. "Stupid ass."

"Kagome I know you are awake. It would be hard to sleep with the noise." He walked over to where she laid with the covers up over her face. Sesshoumaru sat down on the bed and pulled the covers back.

Kagome frowned, "I'm going to kill Inuyasha. I was having the best sleep ever." She pulled the covers out of Sesshoumaru's hands and covered back up. "Make him go away."

"I could do that, but you must eat anyway. Unless you wish to eat in here?"

Kagome sighed, "No, I would like to talk to everyone about Naraku, especially Sango."

"Speaking of which, I just had a talk with her."

Kagome pushed the covers down and sat up, "About what?"

Sesshoumaru stood up with a growl. He walked over to the window and looked up at the moon.

She slipped out of bed and walked over to his side, "Please Sesshoumaru talk to me."

He growled again, louder this time. "She had the nerve to accuse me of forcing you into mating me." Sesshoumaru faced her, "She is lucky to be alive Kagome. I will not have such things said about me or you. If she wasn't your friend she would be dead."

Tears formed in Kagome's eyes, "I am so sorry Sesshou. Sango doesn't understand, I never talked to her about what was going on between us." She looked away from him, "To tell you the truth, I felt ashamed of what we were doing.

"We slept with eachother for over four months and we never talked about it or why we did it. I-I felt dirty everytime my mom would talk about me being such a good daughter and talking about wearing a white wedding dress." Slowly tears trailed down her face and fell to the floor.

Sesshoumaru's eyes shone with concern, "I am sorry Kagome. I took a lot from you and never thought about the consequences. And I suppose the biggest was capturing your heart." He turned away from her, not wanting her to see his regret.

Kagome looked back up at him, she reached up and turned his face back towards her. "Sesshoumaru I don't regret mating you. I don't even regret those uncertain months when we just had sex. Most of all I don't regret falling in love with you."

"I gave you so many reasons to hate me, but you never did. Why was I the one you chose?"

Kagome laughed through her tears, "Actually from the first time I saw you I thought you were extremely handsome; hot even. I never said anything to Inuyasha because I know he'd pitch a hissy fit, but the feelings were there. Why did you choose me?"

He cupped her face, "You had the courage to fight me, the loyalty to never leave Inuyasha in battle, and the strength to fight when you had no chance of winning. You even proved that you are stubborn enough to love me, when I didn't want to get close to anyone." He kissed her nose, "And here I am now with you."

"We are lucky aren't we?"

"It was not luck that brought you to this time, to me. It was fate Kagome." Sesshoumaru leaned down and placed his lips over hers. His hands snaked around her waist and cupped her bottom. He pulled her up against him.

There was a banging on the door, "Hey, I meant today when I said open the door! If you two start something you intend to finish I'd save it for later!"

Sesshoumaru growled and glared at the door, "I'm going to kill him."

Kagome laughed, "Come on Sesshou, can't leave his highness waiting now can we?"

"I don't see why not."

Kagome laughed again, then something popped into her head. She smiled devilishly at the door. She crept up to the door and at Sesshoumaru's questioning gaze she placed a finger to her lips.

Sesshoumaru remained silent wondering what she could have in mind now.

She put her back a few inches from the door and fell back with a loud thump aginst the door. With a smile she started moaning, "Oh, Sesshoumaru! Right there!"

Sesshoumaru smirked as he caught on to her game, he decided to play along. "Beg for it Kagome."

Nothing was heard from the other side of the door, then, "What the hell?"

Kagome continued moaning and Sesshoumaru started growling loudly. By the end Kagome could barely contain her laughter. Yue had awoken and looked at them in confusion. Sesshoumaru and Kagome abruptly stopped their noises and stood before the door quietly.

She held her fingers up, three of them erect. She counted down and when the last one went down the opened the door to see Inuyasha blushing on the floor. Kagome looked at him closely, "Are you alright Inuyasha? You look a little red."

He averted his eyes, "Y-yeah, I'm fine." He stood up and still wouldn't look them in the eyes. "Come on."

Sesshoumaru couldn't resist, "Little brother I do believe you are blushing."

"Well you and Kagome did just-against the door and all too."

Kagome laughed and patted Inuyasha on the top of his head, "Silly Inuyasha. Believe me when I say sex with Sesshoumaru lasts much longer than that." She smiled at him slyly, "I just started making noises and hitting the door with my hands."

He stared at her for a moment then his face twisted into a grimace, "Eww, I didn't need to know about him in the sack."

"Come on Inuyasha I know you secretly want to know. You wouldn't believe how talented his tongue is."

He clamped his hands over his ears and took off down the hall. "I am not listening."

Kagome laughed and held her hand out to Sesshoumaru, "Shall we?"

He smiled and shook his head. Sesshoumaru took her hand and they walked down the hall where the others should be.

All of them were called to Sesshoumaru's library, where they awaited his arrival. Sitora and Shinjiru were also there, though they weren't sure why. The first of the three missing to arrive was Inuyasha.

Miroku took note of the red faced hanyou and said, "Inuyasha are you alright?"

He sat in the corner, mumbling about perverse brothers.

Kagome and Sesshoumaru arrived seconds later with Yue trailing behind them. Kagome came in with a huge smile, "Inuyasha you know I was kidding, somewhat."

Sesshoumaru shook his head, "Feel free to ignore any and all comments you hear from her regarding me Inuyasha."

"Yeah, I'm already doing that."

Miroku silently wodered what went on between the three of them. His inquiring eyes turned to Sesshoumaru, "Why have we been called here?"

Sesshoumaru sat at the large desk in the center of the room, "We need to discuss Naraku."

He was met with silence.

"He has been seen in the Northern Lands. His castle has been in those lands for over two months. I have set up a meeting with the Northern Lord. We are to make the journey to his lands in two days."

Sitora walked over to where the map of the Northern Lands was and pointed, "He is in this area, but we can't act unless we have permission from the Lord."

"Feh, why not?"

"An attack on any being in the Northern Lands would mean war for me. There is an order things must be done in and I intend to avoid war at all costs."

Shin spoke up, "Are we all going to the North?"

He shook his head, "No. You will remain here with Rin and the kit , Sitora will go with me." Before she could argue he said, "I would prefer if Sitora is protected fully and the only way to do that is if she comes with me."

"Alright, when will you be getting back?"

"It depends on his cooperation entirely. Up until now Naraku stayed within the boundaries of my land. Now it will be harder to get to him." Sesshoumaru was silent, then, "No more than two weeks, after that I will do what I have to."

Kagome said, "If I were threatened by Naraku wouldn't that be enough to convince the Northern Lord to let us attack Naraku?"

"Yes, but you will not be put in that situation. If it was my decision I wouldn't let you come, but you have a right to be there."

"Yes, I do have a right to be there. Besides as your mate I want to meet this Northern Lord." She looked at everyone, "You don't have to come, you can all stay here and wait for us to get back."

Inuyasha smirked, "Are you trying to get rid of us?" He stood up, "Remember Naraku is all of our business, not just yours."

To Kagome, Sango said, "You are our friend Kagome and we want to be there with you."

Sitora nodded, "Besides the Lord of the North is an ass. I don't like him, but his generals are extremely-"

"Extremely what Sitora?" Sesshoumaru looked at her closely.

She smiled, "Nice, courtious, and very much like gentlemen."

He grunted, Sesshoumaru would have to watch her while they were at the palace of the North. "We will leave in two days. That gives enough time to let Lord Raizen prepare for our visit."

Kagome smiled, "Okay now that that is settled, Sitora will you accompany me to the garden?"

"Uh, sure." Sitora stood up and followed Kagome out into the hall. "Why do you want me to come with you? I figured you'd want to spend time with Sesshoumaru."

Kagome smacked her forehead, "I wanted to hear what you were going to say before Sesshoumaru went all protective like. So what were you saying?"

"I as I was saying they are extremely handsome. There's four of them, but only three of them are drool worthy. One of them-the best looking-is a kitsune, the second is a koori. He's kinda short but droolable anyway, the only bad thing is he acts like Sesshoumaru, so it's a little weird being around him. The last one is human-I think-he has an attitude like Inuyasha."

"What about the last one?"

"Hes' human, but he's so rude and ugly. The first one is the hottest. He has the most gorgeous eyes and hair and tail and butt and-"

"Who are you speaking of Sitora?"

She turned around and Sesshoumaru was standing there with his arms crossed over his chest. "Oh, no one in particular." She smiled at him slightly, he wasn't going to let her get away this time.

"Oh really? So no one has a nice butt?"

Sitora winced, "I don't want to talk about it Sesshoumaru."

He growled, "You will talk about it whether you like it or not."

Kagome stepped up to him, "Sesshoumaru, leave her alone. She hasn't done anything wrong."

His eyes were angry as he looked at Kagome. "Do you know who she is talking about? If you do tell me Kagome."

Sitora had tears in her eyes, "It is none of your business Sesshoumaru!"

"The last time it wasn't my business you almost died Sitora! I will make it my business whenever you are involved."

She shook her head as long dead memories surfaced. Sitora turned from Sesshoumaru and ran down the hall, tears stingging her eyes and trailing down her face.

Sesshoumaru made to follow her, but Kagome held onto his sleeve and effectively stopped him. He looked at her, "Why did you stop me?"

Kagome looked up at him and unable to stop herself, she slapped him hard across his face. "I don't know what happened before and I really don't want to know. You had no right bringing up something that you knew would hurt her." She turned from him, "You want to protect her? The only way you can do that is to let her live Sesshoumaru."

"You don't know what happened."

"And I don't care. You learn by making mistakes and she obviously has. Protecting her for the rest of her life isn't going to help her, neither is bringing up a mistake from the past." Kagome sighed, "I'm going to go talk to her."

Sesshoumaru watched her leave, his cheek was still stinging and he was trying to hold back from punishing her. No one had ever dared to strike him and he wasn't happy that his mate had. He shook his head, part of him knew he deserved it and what he said was uncalled for. So for now he would trust his mate's judgement.

"Sitora? Are you out here?"

Sitora watched from above in the tree, Kagome was very brave to take on Sesshoumaru when he was angry. She dropped to the ground, "Yes, I'm here."

Kagome looked into her red, tear filled eyes. "Are you alright?"

Sitora broke down, tears fell from her eyes non-stop. She latched onto Kagome like a life line.

She sat down with Sitora in her lap, "Shhh. It's okay Sitora." Kagome was even more mad now that she saw how much Sesshoumaru hurt Sitora, 'I should have punched him.'

From her close proximity Sitora could feel Kagome's youkai blood awakening and knew that she blamed Sesshoumaru. "Don't blame him Kagome. It isn't his fault."

"He shouldn't have said that to you though. There is no excuse for that."

"Yeah, but he's just trying to protect me."

"If you don't mind me asking, what happened before?"

"When I was younger I met someone who I grew to love. He was everything I ever wanted, well we got physical and then he dropped me like I was nothing. I went to him later and asked him about it and he said that I was just a way to have fun.

"Koji used me in the worst way, then when I had gone to see him he tried to rape me. Sesshoumaru found out about him from Shin and came in time to stop him. Sesshoumaru killed him without hesitation. Ever since then, I haven't been alone with any guy in a room unless I was here at the palace."

"Wow, Sitora I'm so sorry. Does Sesshoumaru know who the three generals are?"

"No, I haven't even met them, I've only seen them. Sesshoumaru never lets me out of his sight when we are there because he doesn't trust Raizen."

"Then this is the first time he's heard anything about them?"

"Yes. I want to get close to someone but Sesshoumaru will always be there and that might scare anyone who loves me away."

Kagome smiled, "If someone truly loves you then they will not let Sesshoumaru scare them away. They will fight for you."

"Thank you Kagome." She looked up at the first stars of the night, "You should head in. Your youkai blood was waking up and it would be best if you are with Sesshoumaru when that happens."

"Alright. Are you alright now?"

"Yes, much better." Sitora hugged Kagome. "If Sesshoumaru asks tell him I'll be out here tonight."

"Okay, I will see you in the morning. And I think while we are at the Northern palace we need to meet these three guys, ne?" She smiled at Sitora's grin, "I thought so too."

"Good night Kagome."

"Night Sitora."

Sesshoumaru sat on his bed reading over an account taken by one of his field soldiers. There was trouble in one of the hanyou villages on his land, they were being raided by wolves.

'Wolves,' Sesshoumaru thought. He hated wolves with a passion. They were ignorant, sloppy, and all inbred. It was wolves that had killed Rin in the first place and that just fueled his hatred for their kind.

He turned when he heard his door open, Kagome was slipping through the door. She didn't seem mad anymore and she smelled like Sitora and salt. 'Sitora was crying,' He thought angrily. 'I should have left things alone and not said what I did.'

"Sesshoumaru?"

His gold eyes met her golden blue ones. Sesshoumaru cocked his head to the side, that was new. Her eyes changed color.

When he didn't answer her Kagome started to worry. "Are you okay?"

He stood up and looked at her more closely through the darkness. The changes were subtle, but they were there. She was slightly taller and the crescent of his family was starting to appear on her forehead. Her scent was also changing.

The continued silence unnerved Kagome to no end, she was afraid he was still mad. "Please talk to me."

His eyes drifted back to her worried ones and softened. Slowly he walked towards her and stopped before her. He cupped her face in his powerful hands and lifted her face to look at him. "How was I lucky enough to get you as my mate? So beautiful." Sesshoumaru kissed her.

Kagome was so confused she pulled away from him, "You're not mad?"

"No. I have no reason to be." He kissed her again.

Her arms wrapped around his neck in instinct. Kagome pushed her body flush against his and felt his shaft jump to life at the contact. An evil smirk formed on Kagome's lips as she kissed Sesshoumaru. Slowly Kagome walked Sesshoumaru back towards their bed and wasn't surprised when he pushed her in front and down onto the bed with him above her.

Sesshoumaru kissed his way down her neck, then noticed her lack of reaction to him. He looked down at her and she looked bored. A frown marred his face, "Kagome?"

"Huh? Oh, sorry I was just thinking about something from my time. Something my friends told me about."

"Oh really? And what would that be?"

She traced patterns on his chest lazily, "Well, it's just something I wanted to try."

"Fine, I do not care. I leave you in control, for now."

Kagome smiled, "Thank you Sesshou." Kagome pushed Sesshoumaru's chest and made him lay down. She was now on top. Even if Sesshoumaru let her be in control Kagome knew it went against his youkai nature.

She worked on getting his hakamas off since he wasn't wearing anything else. Kagome untied his sash and with help from him, pulled his hakamas off. A shiver passed over her body at the sight of him.

Slowly she slid over his body and kissed him deeply. Kagome felt his arousal on her thigh and with no warning pushed back on it. She was filled with his length, earning a growl from Sesshoumaru.

Sesshoumaru had never taken Kagome or any female like this. He was always entering them from behind with complete control over them. Now, with Kagome stradling his hips he couldn't help but growl at his mate's show of control.

Kagome slid up Sesshoumaru's body nearly drawing him all the way out, then slammed back hard. She screamed out his name and kept a steady pace.

Removing his claws from their bedding he made to put them on Kagome's hips to steady her, but her growls stopped him. She was growling at him for trying to touch her. His eyes met hers and he was startled to see that her's were tinged in red. Her youkai blood had finally taken over.

With a feral roar Sesshoumaru flipped them over. If Kagome thought she could dominate him, then her inner youkai would always demand to be in control of their mating. Sesshoumaru would not allow that. He took her now clawed hands in one of his and held them over her head. With his other one he held her hips still and pounded into her like he had never done before.

Kagome screamed with every well placed thrust. Sesshoumaru was hitting a spot he had never hit before. His force was enough to make Kagome cum all too soon. She screamed even louder and with no thought bit into Sesshoumaru's neck, completing their bond. Her fangs stayed firm in Sesshoumaru's neck as he continuously thrusted into her.

Sesshoumaru growled and sped up when he felt Kagome bite him. Holding nothing back he was lost in his youkai instincts. He slammed into her one last time and emptied his seed into her spent body. Instead of falling forward on top of Kagome Sesshoumaru collapsed backwards bringing Kagome on top of him once more.

Kagome removed her fangs from his neck and nuzzled into his neck. She sighed contently and fell asleep in Sesshoumaru's arms.

He lazily pulled the covers over them and fell asleep too. He purred as Kagome licked his neck in her sleep.

The next moring a messenger came back with a reply from Raizen. He wanted them to come immediately, needing their help with something. His message didn't tell what he needed help with, but it was important.

Before he talked to anyone else he talked to Kagome about the new plans. "What do you think Kagome?"

"Well, do you have any reason to doubt his word? Has he given you any reason to not trust him?" She looked over the parchment in her hands, it felt important for some reason.

He looked at her closely, "You're not telling me something."

Kagome frowned, "I don't know why, but this feels important." She shrugged, "In the end it's up to you."

"I trust your instincts Kagome, we will leave this afternoon." He kissed her and made ready to leave. He called a servant to his room, "Tell Inuyasha and his companions to get prepared to depart."

"Yes my Lord."

Sesshoumaru dressed in his regualr haori and hakamas. Tokijin and Tenseiga were tied at his waist, and his armor was on. He turned and saw his mate, she had changed during the night.

Her hair was down past her knees and was mostly silver now, with two stripes of black at her temples. She had the purple crescent moon and stripes on her face just like Sesshoumaru except hers were dark blue. Her build hadn't really changed, but she had grown to be taller than Inuyasha though still shorter than Sesshoumaru.

He could feel the power radiating off of her in waves and an involutary shiver past down his spine. He held out his hand to her and she took it.

They walked out of their room, rested and clean. Before the sun came up Kagome had gone to the hotspring and Sesshoumaru followed. She saw her new look and wasn't disappointed by Sesshoumaru's reaction. He showed her how much her loved her, twice. So now hand in hand, they looked every bit the title they held.

Kagome never believed she could fit in the role of the Lady of the West, but now she was more confident. Explaining things to everyone was going to be easy, except Sango that is. Kagome still needed to talk to her about Sesshoumaru.

Everyone was assembled in the library again. Most of them were grumpy for having thier breakfast interrupted. Sitora sat calmly by the door, something was wrong she could feel it and it needed to be fixed, whatever it was. Her attention was drawn to the door when Kagome and Sesshoumaru arrived. Sitora smiled at Kagome's new look, it fit her.

"We will be leaving sooner than expected, Raizen has requested that we arrive earlier than what I had said." Sesshoumaru let go of Kagome's hand, "He did not elaborate on why, but it seems important."

Kagome nodded, "I have this feeling that something big is going on and we need to be there. So we are leaving this afternoon, so we should get there early tomorrow."

"What's with the new look?" Inuyasha hadn't really been paying attention to what she was saying, he just knew that they were leaving sooner than before.

She looked down, forgetting that she had changed. Kagome blushed, "Oh, yeah, that's just from mating. I'm a youkai now."

Miroku eyed her, "I suppose asking you to bear my children is out of the question?"

Before she could answer Sesshoumaru cut in, "Yes, if you ask I will remove your ability to create life; permanently."

He winced, "Point taken."

Kagome smiled at them, then she saw Sitora's face, "Is everything alright?"

"No, something is most definately wrong, I can feel it. It's like a tickle in the back of my mind and it won't go away." She shook her head and smiled, "We should get ready to go." Sitora stood up and left the room.

Sesshoumaru made eye contact with Kagome and then left.

"Where is he going?"

To Inuyasha, Kagome said, "He's going to talk to Sitora." She looked at Sango from the corner of her eye, "Hey Sango will you help me get a few things together?"

Sango smiled, "Yeah."

They walked out into the hall and made their way to Kagome and Sesshoumaru's room. Sango would occasionally steal a glance at Kagome only to see her smiling to herself. How could she possibly broach the subject that needed to be talked about. She thought about over a thousand ways to bring it up, but no matter what it always ended bad in her mind.

"Sango, I need to ask you something." Kagome opened the door to her room and walked inside. She stopped when she noticed that Sango wasn't coming in. "What's wrong?"

"I thought I wasn't allowed in here."

Kagome laughed, "No that was mostly just for Inuyasha. Come on in, just don't sit on the bed, I think the sheets haven't been changed yet."

Sango blushed and entered the room, shutting the door behind her. "What did you want to ask me?"

"How do you feel about my mating to Sesshoumaru? Honestly I want to know."

Sango's eyes leveled on Kagome's, "I thought it was sudden. I mean no offense Kagome, but you always talked about loving Inuyasha, then out of nowhere you mate Sesshoumaru. How does that work?"

She smiled, "I'll tell you a secret, but you have to promise me you will not say anything to anyone." When Sango nodded Kagome continued, "I have been seeing Sesshoumaru for the past four and a half months. I used our meetings as a way to feel like I was wanted, needed by someone. The fact that Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha look alike was also a factor, so I slept with him. Eventually my feelings started to change, but I never said anything.

"After a while we would talk after we had sex and it was through our talking that I gained a new respect for Sesshoumaru. I never in a million years imagined that he could feel the way he did. He always told me that he was incapable of love, being a Taiyoukai prevented that luxury. We had a fight after one of our meetings, over Inuyasha, and I accidentally told him I had fallen in love with him.

"I told Inuyasha later on what was going on and he understood. When I found out I could speak High Inu I went to Sesshoumaru and asked him what was going on. He told me that sometimes if the male youkai has strong enough feelings for the female they are rutting with, then something can be transmitted from the male to the female."

"He loves you."

Kagome beamed, "Yes, he does. I nearly died when I heard that. Loving someone who doesn't love you back is the worst pain imaginable. I don't know if I could handle the pain of Sesshoumaru not loving me." She turned to Sango, "I don't want you to think that I was forced into this Sango, I love him."

Sango closed her eyes, "I see that now. I just didn't understand, now I do Kagome and I'm happy for you." Sango hugged Kagome. "So what are you doing?"

"I'm trying to find something of Sesshoumaru's. He wore it once and then didn't afterwards again." She searched through the huge closet, Sessshoumaru had a lot of clothes he never wore. Kagome nearly drooled at the thought of him in clothes from her era. 'Baggy jeans and a wife beater.'

Sango watched her in amusement, "Have you found it yet?"

"No, but I found a bright haori that needs to be burned, it's almost pink and Sesshoumaru is not a wearer of pink." She pushed aside another haori and, "Aha, I found it!" Kagome came out of the closet holding a haori with matching hakamas.

The haori was black outlined in silver and had a pattern that resembled stars on it. On the back was a dark blue crescent moon. The hakamas were all black with a single silver stripe running down the left leg.

Sango looked at in awe, "I didn't know Sesshoumaru wore black. Where did he get that?"

Kagome held it up, "It's a long story that I don't think he wants shared. I asked him once how come he always wore white and the next time I saw him he was wearing this. He looked so handsome in it, so hot." She got chills just thinking about the wild time she had with him that night.

Their attention was drawn to the door when Sesshoumaru walked through. He cocked an eyebrow at Sango but said nothing. His attention returned to Kagome, "The black one?"

Kagome smiled, "Yep, you look good in black Sesshoumaru, you know that." She kissed him when he walked up to her.

He leaned in and whispered, "You actually think we are going to get anything done if I wear that?"

Her smile widened, "Sure, we could get things done. Maybe not what we set out to do, but we could get it done." She set the haori and hakamas on the bed, "Besides, you love me so you would wear it for me, right?"

Sesshoumaru paused long enough to make her frown, "Perhaps." His eyes lit with amusement when she started to pout, "Leave it on the bed and as soon as the room is vacant of visitors I will change."

Kagome squeeled, "Come on Sango, lets let his highness change." She grabbed Sango and dragged her out of the room. As she was leaving she caught Sesshoumaru's questioning glance and she smiled, "If I stay in here I doubt we will leave on time. See you in a few minutes." And she closed the door.

He shook his head and started to strip down.
