A Lady's Dream Few Introductions
Shippou-chan brought me to my room and told me that a girl next door would help me out. Her name was Sango and Shippou-chan went to introduce me to her.
"Sango?" He knocked.
"Who is it?"
"Shippou."
"Come in."entered and she asked,
"Who's this?"
"I'm Kagome." I said.
"Pleased to meet you Kagome. I'm Sango." She rose to shake my hand.
"Sango, Kagome's new here and she'll be staying next door to you. So, if you could help her out....."
"No problem. Where's she working?"
"With Kaede-bachan, I believe. Right Kagome?
"Hai."
"Alrighty, then."
"I got to go. I was supposed to meet Rin an hour ago. See you guys later."
"Bye-bye."ran out and left me and Sango inside.
"So, Kagome. Are you the new girl everyone's talking about?"
"Nani?"
"Everyone's talking about a new girl who Inuyasha saved from a Centipede youkai (demon, monster, etc.). They said she lost her memory and is staying here."
"Yup. That's me."
"Okay. So, you're working with Kaede-bachan?"
"Hai."
"Then you should wake up around six-ish and be there by seven."
"Be where?"
"The kitchens."
"Which is?"
"That's right. You don't know where anything is, do you?"
"Nope."
"Okay. Me and Miroku will take you on a tour, then."
"Who's Miroku?"
"He's my partner, advisor and best friend to Inuyasha, battle official and pervert."laughed.
"It's true. Let your guard down for a second and you'll find him groping you."
"Okay...."on. Let's find him."left Sango-chan's room, headed right, down the hall, and up some stairs, then right and up the hall. We stopped in front of a door.
"His room is right above mine."knocked.
"Miroku? Open up."boy about the same age as Sango-chan opened the door and replied saying:
"Ah, my lovely Sango. What has happened so that I may enjoy the honor of your presence?"
"You're going on a tour with me and Kagome-chan."
"Kagome? This young maiden here?"looked at me, walked up and kissed my hand saying:
"Lovely lady, will you do me the honor of bear-"suddenly smacked Miroku-sama across the face and said:
"Don't even think about it."
"Sorry.~ahem~ Pleased to meet you, Kagome-sama." He shook my hand.
"The pleasure is mine...., I'm sure......"
"Miroku, Kagome-chan's the new girl and we're going to show her around. She'll be working with Kaede-bachan."
"First stop's the kitchens, then. I assume you've met Kaede-bachan?"
"Hai."
"Did you meet Inuyasha?"
"Unfortunately."and Sango-chan laughed."
"Yup. That's Inuyasha."door next to Miroku-sama's opened and Inuyasha came out.
"Did I hear my name? Oh. It's you....." He said upon seeing me.
"I'm not happy to see you, either."
"Inuyasha, we were just about to give Kagome-sama a tour. Would you like to join us?"
"Hell, no. I ain't going nowhere with her."
"Well, you didn't have to be so rude about it."
"Rudeness is my specialty."
"I could tell."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"That you're rude."
"Am not!"
"You just said you are."
"Of course I am. To you."
"Why to me?"
"Because I hate you."
"I hate you, too."
"I hate you more."
"Do not."
"Do too"
"Do not."
"Do too."and Sango sighed. 'This is going to be a long day.'
