Chapter 19

You're...WHO!?!?

The group had been walking for hours now. So they decided to stop for camp. Sango, Miroku and Shippo decided to set up camp, while Inuyasha, Kagome and Katera went to get something to eat. There Inuyasha stood looking at the water for a fish. He saw one and readied his claw. Right when he was about to catch it Katera jumped into the river. “DRANAMO!!” She yelled and made a gigantic splash. “Whoa!!!” The angel shouted as she was almost splash. “Oi, Kat! Watch where you're splashing.” The angel yelled. “Sorry.” Katera teased. “KID, YOU ARE SCARING THE FISH!!!” Inuyasha yelled at Katera. “Sorry, Uncle Yasha.” She said whimpering. “Ah, man, its getting dark. Now all we have to eat are these tiny fish.” Inuyasha said as he held up fish that were no more than 4 inches long. There were 8 of them but it still wouldn't be enough, even for humans. “It'll be okay. We can eat our fill tomorrow.” The angel said as she pulled Katera out of the water. “Well, I guess I don't have to worry about giving you a bath eh, Kat?” Kagome asked. “Nope.” Katera said funnily. “Here put this around you or you'll get cold.” Kagome said while handing Katera a towel. “Thanks.” Katera said as she ran away. “C'mon lets get back to camp.” Inuyasha slung the fish over his shoulder and walked away. `Some things never change I suppose.' Kagome thought. When they got back to camp Kagome seasoned the fish and put them over the fire, then jumped up into the tree. Everyone was sitting by the fire watching the fish and waiting for them to be done. After what seemed like centuries Kagome laughed at the eagerness and yelled “Oh, come on, are you that hungry?” They all yelled back “YES!!!” “Okay, well, in that case, their done.” Everyone grabbed one but their was still one by the fire. “My Lady, aren't you gonna come and get yours?” Miroku asked. “Naw, I'm not hungry…someone else can have mine.” But before Inuyasha had the chance to grab it. Katera grabbed it and yelled. “Auntie, you need to eat something! You haven't eaten in three days.” “That's because I don't need as much food as humans. I can deal with hunger until we get home.” Katera sighed and sliced the fish into 6 pieces. Everyone gladly accepted their piece and ate it quickly. “My Lady, that was the best fish I ever tasted. It tasted like Kagomes.” Shippo told her. Everyone merely nodded in agreement. But when he didn't get an answer from her he questioned. “My Lady?” “She's not there Ippo, she left to probably scout the area.” Katera told them all. Kagome came back to camp in five minutes with a bucket of water. She poured it on the fire and covered the ashes with leaves. “What are you doing?” Inuyasha asked. “We are being followed by a demon. I am surprised you didn't smell it.” She said as she cut her arm with her claws. “What are you doing?” Inuyasha asked again. “Luring the demon, so I can find out where it came from.” “I am with you Auntie.” Katera said as she ran up and transformed into her dog demon form. The demon came out and Kagome destroyed it as soon as it came out. “Nothing lures a demon more than blood.” Then she gasped. “What is it?” Sango asked. “This is a demon from the eastern lands……we need to leave at dawn. Get some sleep.” And with that everyone went to bed. Or almost. At the crack of dawn Kagome woke everyone up and they were on their way. It was almost noon, and they weren't planning on stopping, until Kagome stopped. She let out a low growl. “Inuyasha do you sense it?” She asked. “Yeah, a lot of demons, coming our way.” He told her back. They put there arms up to there eyes as the dust started to form in. When they opened their eyes they were surrounded by demons on horseback. Inuyasha drew his blade. “Who are you!?” Inuyasha yelled. “Are you the one that they call Inuyasha?” The general asked. “Who's askin?” Inuyasha asked back. The general raised his hand and dropped it. Bullets and arrows were release and before anyone could stop it, Inuyasha was hit with all of them. He fell to his knees and cried with pain. “You are wanted for several murders of your demon form. Second fire, at your ready. Aim. Fir-.” Kagome stood in front of Inuyasha. “Move out of the way wench. This does not concern you.” “It concerns me since it is happening on my lands.” “Ah, you must be that bitch Kagome, well, two birds with one stone then.” He said as he jumped down and pulled his knife to her neck. “You're going to come with us, Princess Kagome. Now don't struggle or speak,” He said as he cut a little part of her neck. She whimpered. “Or I might have to do something I don't want to...” He told her. “Oh, I'm not gonna talk I'm gonna sing!” She told him quietly while attacking. “Solar Plexus.” She said as she elbowed his stomach. “In Step.” As she crashed into his foot. “Nose.” She punched his nose. “Groin.” Then she kicked him where it hurts. She picked him up by the collar of his shirt. “Who sent you?” “Lord Riokyu...” He stammered. “Well you go tell Lord Riokyu that these people are under my protection, and if he wants them, he can answer to me.” Then she threw him across the plain. “Get off my lands. NOW!!” And with that they were all gone. “Aunt Gome!” Katera yelled as she came up to her. “They know, don't they?” “Yeah I think they do.” Kagome said as she turned to look at the shocked Inu-group. “Maybe its time I properly introduce myself. My name is Kagome Lily DeAnn Higarashi, Lady of the southern lands.” The group just stood there dumbstruck.
