Chapter 22

Breakfast Time!

There Kagome slept in the media room, and what was left of Date Movie was playing, but deep inside Kagomes mind, her dream was no comedy.

*Kagome's Dream*

“Okaa, Okaa!” Kia shouted as her mother spun her around. Kagome laughed as she dropped to the ground. “More More!!” Kia yelled. “No more, no more.” Kagome told her as she laid on her back, with Kia lying on her chest. Then a familiar scent reached Kagome's nose. `Shuuto.' Kagome thought as she instinctively reached for Kia only to find she wasn't there. “Kia!” Kagome shouted as she looked around while running. Then all of a sudden she was rammed into a tree. Two hands were wrapped around her neck. “C'mon Baby, you didn't think I would forget about you, did ya?” A man whispered into her while starting to suck on her neck where she would be marked if she got a mate. “Shuuto, you bastard, GET OFF OF ME!!!” Kagome screamed while she tried to squirm from his grasp. “Baby, Kia is my kid too, but if your outta the way I'll take good care of her.” He told her while taking a breath. “You are not her father you are a sick man that took something away from me that one night.” Kagome whispered. She was running out of air. “Well, I guess I better have one last run your way before I take Kia.” He said while biting her neck. Marking her forever.*

“NOO!” Kagome screamed as she sat up. Hot tears poured down her face as she gasped for breath. She went to the right side of her neck and rubbed it. Only smooth skin, no bite mark. She sighed and wiped away her tears. `Why does he have to always be there?' Kagome thought as she walked down the hall. She had been raped almost a year and a half ago but Shuuto always seemed to get in her dreams. She shook it off as she approached her bedroom door. There was a beautiful carving of a black dog demon with brown eyes, and a small black dog demon with blue eyes. `Father.' Kagome thought as she glided her fingers along the bigger dog demon. This used to be her fathers room. But when she inherited her father's lands she took this room right away. It was exactly as it was, the same paint, bed, fresh sheets everything, except the add on room she added 8 years back when she wanted to record music and write it. She went to the wardrobe and changed into a shirt that said, `I might be strange, maybe even crazy, but there's never a dull day!' and a pair of faded jeans. She brushed her teeth and hair, and then threw it into a ponytail. She walked out of her room and looked out of the hallway window. It was dawn and she needed to be downstairs. He wounds had healed over night with Chie's care thankfully, and she felt good as new. She sat on the banister and slid down. “Yee-haw.” Then she landed on her butt at the bottom. “Whoop, whoop. Kagome is in the house.” Kagome said as she came into the kitchen to find Chie making breakfast. “WOOOO!!! Lets make some breakfast.” Kagome sang while getting out plates, forks, knifes, napkins, spoons, and glasses. The she waved her hand and pointed her finger at each spot at the table. The table was set so Kagome went back into the kitchen and said. “I love my magic, it makes me feel special.” Kagome hugged herself and started to make some pancakes. “Yeah, special ed.” Rin said as she walked into the room with dark denim jeans on and a t-shirt that said, `I am a reverse Oreo, white on the outside, black on the inside.' “Hay gurlie.” Kags said while pouring the mix in a bowl. “Hello Lady Rin.” Chie said while washing some dishes. “Okay, your doing dishes, your doing pancakes, that leaves me with eggs and bacon.” “NOOOO!! I GET BACON!!!” Nobuya yelled as he walked into the kitchen. Nobuya had been Kagomes best friend since her family died. He was there for her, he even asked her out but didn't push it when she said no. He had his own girlfriend but roomed with her. He was a warlock so he could poof back to the future when he needed to. “Okay, okay, you get bacon.” Rin said while laughing. He walked up to Kagome and gave her a kiss on the cheek and the went to the refrigerator and got the bacon. “Someone is in a good mood Mr. Kissy on the Cheeky.” Kagome teased. “Well I could here you screaming last night so I thought the scardey cat could use a kiss.” Nobuya said back. Kagome flicked some batter in his hair. “Okay, shut up. I am not gonna listen to this you are getting on my nerves.” Kagome said as she walked to the radio in the kitchen and flipped on. The music to Lean wit it Rock wit it came on. “Rin its our song, they left their stations and started to dance while singing.

Nobuya turned off the radio. “HEY!!” Rin and Kagome shouted. No rap. I mean it. “Fine fine.” Kagome said while turning the staton. “Here we go. I like this song.” Kagome said, Nobuya agreed and they started cooking and singing along to it.
