A New Journey and A New Friend
Discovered and Finally There
Kagome got into a fighting stance and scanned
the area. Miroku, Sango, and Inuyasha taught
her how to fight just in case someting happened
to Inuyasha that he couldnt protect her in battle.
And that just what happened, he was killed by
Naraku which sent Kagome in a rage and deliverd
the final blow on him with all the training she had.
She was very skilled and learned so quick that she
was better than Miroku and Sango in no time at all.
She got better and was able to beat Inuyasha in battle.
Shesshomaru had joined the group before the final
battle and Kagome became quick friends with him and
soon was as good as him in battle. She could run with
inhuman speed thanks to Sesshomaru and Inuyasha's
help.
She brought out of her thoughts when a rustle from the
bushes was heard. She quickly changed positions and
walked towards the bush. Then a little fur ball came at her.
She was caught off guard and fell when Shippo cam at her.
They both laughed and then she remembered about the
demon in the tree watching her.
"Come on Shippo, we need to go," Kagome said.
"Alright mama," Shippo said and jumped on her shoulder
and they took off towards the southern castle.
'I thought she couldnt sense me' was going through Hiei's
head as he took off after them.
Hiei jumped from tree branch to tree branch till he was over
Kagome and Shippo.
Kagome heard something and skidded to a hault. She looked
looked at the trees where she sensed the demon. She formed
her bow and arrows out of her miko powers that she learned
to control thanks to Kaede. She swiftly shot it up and heard
it hit the tree. Then all of the sudden the demon jumped in
front of her glaring holes in her.
"Who are you," Kagome asked calmly forming another arrow
and notching it in the bow.
"Hn," was all Hiei said and charged at her.
Kagome dodged him and ran off towards the castle with Shippo
in her arms so he didnt fall off. She ran through the gates with
Hiei following soon after. Hiei jumped in front of her cutting her
off.
"Demon i have no intentions on killing you but if i have to i will,
i am only here to visit a friend, now move or die," Kagome said
coldly that it could compare with Sesshomaru.
Again all Hiei said was a "hn" and he walked off towards the castle.
"What's his problem," Kagome asked as she walked after him.
"Mama, will this be anything like Sesshomaru's castle," Shippo
asked.
"Probally, but you never know," Kagome replied.
Kagome headed into the castle and found it decorated with black,
red and ice blue dragons. The interior was a lot like Sesshomaru's
castle but black, red, ice blue, and with dragons. Kagome walked
through the hall and went were she sensed her friend's aura. She
walked past Hiei. She smiled at him but recieved a glare. Her smile
never faded as she approched her friends door, it only widened.
Hiei's POV
I watched as she passed me and smiled. I glared at her but wanted
to smile. I had no clue why, but i just kept glaring. I watched as she
went to my sister Yukina's room. I watched as she knocked and my
sister answerd She seemed really happy to see this girl because she
hugged her.
Kagome's POV
I knocked on the door and was greeted with a hug from a very happy
Yukina. She always seemed to be happy, i never really saw her mad or
sad too much but sometimes i would have to comfort her. She was like
a sister to me like Sango.
"Kagome, Im surpised to see you, where's Inuyasha," Yukina asked me.
A lone tear fell from my eye and the next thing i knew i broke down crying
there infront of her. I latched myself onto her. I cried on her shoulder and
after awhile i stopped and told her how Inuyasha died and how i had avenged
him. Yukina gave me a hug and we headed towards the garden.
Hiei's POV
I watched as my sister asked Kagome, was it, about this Inuyasha person and
saw her break down. I turned to leave when she stopped and told my sister
about how she avenged him.
Normal POV
Kagome and Yukina headed to the gardens when they stopped by Hiei and
Yukina introduced Kagome to him.
"Kagome, this is my brother Hiei, and Hiei this is my friend Kagome," Yukina
exclaimed happily.
"Hey, its you from before," Kagome exclaimed.
"Uhhh, I take it you two have met," Yukina asked.
"Hn, I didnt know you knew my sister," Hiei said emotionlessly.
Yeah, me and Yukina go way back," Kagome said with a smile as they left
for the gardens.
Kagome's POV
Me and Yukina walked for about 5 minutes talking about he past with Inuyasha.
I was happy with the memories when except when Inuyasha had died. I was also
happy i could talk to someone about him and comfort me about the bad times.
"Maybe i can live a normal life now," i whispered to myself but i knew Yukina
could hear me.

I recived a small smile from her as we reached the gardens. In the pit of my stomach
it felt like somthing bad was going to happen but i shrugged it off.
