Chapter Eight - Kidnapped By Luna

Maiyu lowered her body in the water to cover any private part of her.

"What do you want?" Maiyu looked the man in the eyes. They hungrily watched her, wanting her. He had short black hair, and cold grey eyes. His lips curved in a satisfied yet hungry smile.

"Just you."

"Well...give me my clothes and I'll go with you," Maiyu smiled.

"You think I'll fall for that woman! No! I won't. Now...come with me!"

"NO!" Maiyu wished she could reach for any weapon, a stick, some mud, nothing. Maiyu sighed and stayed in the water, she wouldn't let him win. 'I should have paid more attention to what was going on around me than blaming myself for something that wasn't my fault. Damn it all!' Maiyu looked at the man. She knew what he wanted and she wasn't about to give it to him.

"GET OUT! NOW!" The man ordered. A hord of demons surronded the area. Maiyu knew she was in trouble.

'Damn! I've got to worm my way out of this. Maybe...no! I won't show that I'm weak!' Maiyu stood up and left the dignity she had in the water. "I'll come, just give me my clothes. You don't want these ingrats to see me naked do you?"

"Of course not," the man handed her the clothes and she dressed. She noticed her weapons but couldn't reach them. She backed away, pretending to be scared and fell into the hot spring fully clothed. She swam toward her weapon...

"I don't think so..." the man said and threw his sword down and it landed right in front of her face. The sudden attack startled her a little but being one not to get frightened she just swam around it and ran to her boomerang and twin swords. Once she picked them up, the boomerang being first, Maiyu threw it and sliced the man's demonic minions in half leaving him standing alone.

"You want me? Come and get me," Maiyu taunted knowing this would make the man angry. He suprised her when he vanished into thin air. He reapeared behind Maiyu. She turned around quickly and pushed him to the ground; the blade of one of her swords near his neck.

"All I wanted was you, and I will have you!" he clasped the blade of the sword between the palms of his hands. He pushed the sword up and kicked Maiyu in the back of the legs causing them to buckle. She fell to the ground. Now his sword rested against her neck.

"Why do you want me so bad? Who are you? Who do you work for?" Maiyu asked seeing the position she was in.

"MY name Hirogi, I work for Luna. Unfortunatly she's taken. So I'll make due with you..." Hirogi bent down and ran his fingers along Maiyu's cheek.

"You won't have me you freak!" Maiyu spat in his face and kicked the sword away. She got back onto her feet and put the blades of her swords on the base of his neck. "Make one wrong move and your a dead demon!"

"Like I could live without you," the demon named Hirogi pushed the swords away from his neck, "Now I shall take you!" His lips met hers. Gas filled her lungs. He parted from the kiss leaving Maiyu weak.

"Oh no......sleeping.........gas!" She fell into his waiting arms. Damon showed up just at that moment. He saw Maiyu being carried away.

"Hey! Put her down!" Damon yelled furiously. His eyes narrowed to thin slits as he withdrew his claws. "Iron Reaver SOUL STEALER!" he cried and sliced off Hirogi's right arm.

Hirogi was still holding Maiyu up with his left arm. Two vampire like fangs appeared in his mouth.

"You want to be more careful next time. She might just be my dinner," Damon stopped his latest attack when he saw the fangs near Maiyu's shoulder blade. "Now that's more like it. Hmm...what would I do first. Rape her than devour her. First I'll eat her insides, than I'll eat the shell."

"You bastard!" Damon screamed and ran toward Hirogi who was shocked at Damon's speed. Damon caught Maiyu with his right arm and used Iron Revear Soul Stealer with his left arm. "I'm out of 'arms' reach huh?" Damon asked, bemused by his little pun. Hirogi had no arms left to use for 'arms' reach.

"Laugh now, I'll be back!"

"Aw...did little Hirogi get stopped?"

"Mistress Luna! Help me! Please?" Hirogi begged on his knees.

"Well...aren't you going to kill him?" Luna asked looking at Damon with a playful grin.

"No. He doesn't deserve death...he should live in pain for what he was going to try to do," Damon had no regret for the demon.

"Too bad. Hell seems to be the only place for him. Now, how should I kill you?" She asked looking down Damon. "Hmm...maybe I should just rip out your beating heart and feed it to the hungry youkai. Nah...that's too simple. I'll just take your little girlfriend and be on my way," Luna plainly stated in a mocking voice.

"I don't think so! You couldn't get close enough to grab her! I won't allow it!" Damon yelled clenching his fists, causing them to tremble in extreme rage.

"Hah, you don't think I'm capable? Just watch me little dog boy and you will see a true demon at work!" With those last words, she threw her whip down as it tightly wrapped itself around Maiyu. That was when Luna pulled it back up, grabbed Maiyu by the stomach with one arm and then began jumping from tree branch to tree branch.

"HEY! BRING HER BACK!" Damon screamed at the top of his lungs. He then decided to run back to the village and get some help from Inuyasha and the others.

On his way back all he could think about was if Maiyu would be all right. He couldn't explain his feelings, but one thing's for sure...he couldn't deny them no matter how hard he tried. 'What's wrong with me? Why can't I stop thinking about her? One minute I'm fighting with her over something stupid and the next she's the only thing on my mind. Am I really falling in love with her? No. That's ridiculous. Impossible. We're two completely different beings. There's no way we could fall in love. Why am I bombarding myself with all these questions?' After thinking for some time, Damon finally reached the village where he saw his parents sitting outside their hut.

"Mom! Dad! Maiyu's been kidnapped!" Damon cried.

"WHAT?!" Kagome and Inuyasha yelled in unison!

"I knew she was weak!" Inuyasha retorted.

"Dad! She was knocked out with sleeping gas! That bastard kissed her!"

"Well if it was me, I wouldn't have got knocked out by sleeping gas!" Inuyasha gloated.

"Oh yah? What about the 'ink' incident?" Kagome asked with her hands on her hips.

Clenching his teeth, Inuyasha replied, "I said don't bring that up!"

"Uh...mom...dad...MAIYU'S BEEN KIDNAPPED!"

"WHAT?!" Sango and Miroku yelled.

"Well...guess everyone knows now," Damon took off at a run, following Maiyu's scent.

"Let's go!" Sango yelled pulling Miroku along.
