Chapter 21

 

Inu-Yasha took one last leaping step through the underbrush. He landed lightly in front of a cliff. If a person didn't know it was there, then they would have never noticed the heavy boulder blocking a half hidden entrance to a cave. To be honest, he himself didn't even know how he had found it, he had been hurt badly by a bear youkia when he was young and had blacked out somewhat. When he came too, he was in the cave and there was a small fire going.

He set Kagome down gently and took her hand, leading her to the hidden entrance. He turned and slid in sideways, hearing Kagome do the same. Throughout the years he had kept the cave stocked with basic supplies. There was always wood, and if he ever used the wood that was there he was sure to replace it before he left. The cave kept everything fresh, no matter how long he was absent, Inu-Yasha figured there was magic in this cave, and he could feel it sometimes.

“What is this place Inu-Yasha?” Kagome asked as she squinted in the dark. She heard Inu-Yasha move off towards what she thought was the wall. She heard shuffling noises and wood hitting the ground.

“The cave I told you about. I used to live here, don't ask me how I found it.” He said as he struck the flint to make a fire. Sparks flew and Inu-Yasha set the flint back on the shelf he had made when he was young.

Kagome blinked as the fire started, it's light spreading into a dome of light. She watched as Inu-Yasha grabbed a couple things at the edge of the light and it was only when he thrust them into the fire she realized they were torches.

“There is a hot spring in the back of the cave, I want to show you where everything is,” He said as he lifted the torches and started to head off towards the back of the cave. He wanted to show her where everything was now in order to avoid having to interrupt anything they were doing later. He blushed slightly and was thankful his back was turned towards Kagome as he walked carefully through the cave. He hadn't been here in awhile to clean up small rocks and stones, and he didn't want to stop on any. He glanced along the wall and found the first bracket he had made. He fitted the first torch in place and turned towards Kagome.

“Inu-Yasha…did you make the shelves and torch brackets?” Kagome asked curiously. If she had known he was that handy she would have had him make things during their travels.

Inu-Yasha nodded and blushed again. “When you're living alone and not in the best of places, you learn to adapt and make the best of your surroundings,” he stated simply as he led the way a little farther.

As the light of the second torch hit the glassy surface of the steaming water, he heard a gasp from Kagome. He smiled slightly and was glad that he had the cave. If Kagome did decide to live in the past, then they could live here. The hot springs would ease some of her discomfort from living in the past.

Kagome grinned and kneeled to run a finger through the water. It wasn't too hot, but just hot enough to make her shiver. She looked up and frowned as Inu-Yasha put the second torch in another bracket. “Inu-Yasha, won't those torches go out?”

Inu-Yasha frowned and shook his head. “There's a magic around this place that keeps supplies fresh and fires going until they are put out. I'll put the torches out when we're ready to return to the others.”

Kagome nodded and looked around carefully. Now that Inu-Yasha mentioned it, she did feel a light magical presence around her. It wasn't too noticeable, and it didn't feel hostile. Perhaps the people that had used the cave before Inu-Yasha had enchanted the place to make it better, just as Inu-Yasha had made the shelves and torch brackets.

“It's nice here,” Kagome murmured as she turned to head back to the main part of the cave.

Inu-Yasha nodded and followed Kagome. Suddenly his eyes drifted lower and he couldn't help but admire her form. He growled softly, possessively as her hips swayed. His eyes tinted red slightly and he shook his head violently to return to normal. `The pull is stronger now,' he thought as Kagome stopped and looked around the main cave again. To one side of the fire was a bed of sorts. It had furs and pelts and it looked like a mattress of some type had been made. She shifted nervously and looked away from the bed. “Inu-Yasha…I…” she hesitated. Suddenly, she was extremely nervous. Wasn't there supposed to be something called foreplay or something? Or were they just supposed to…start? She gulped and squeaked as arms snaked around her waste from behind.

“We don't have to do anything right now.” Inu-Yasha murmured his voice deeper then normal and huskier. Gods did he want her! She smelled wonderful and she fit so perfectly in his arms. He nuzzled the side of her neck and buried his nose in her hair, inhaling her scent. He could feel Kagome slowly relax in his arms as he gently held her and comforted her. To be honest, if his instincts weren't pushing him as hard as they were, he would probably be pretty nervous right now as well.

Kagome moaned softly as Inu-Yasha started running his hands gently across her stomach. `That feels good,' she thought groggily to herself. She felt her whole body relax and she leaned against Inu-Yasha as he continued to hold her. Her eyes fluttered shut and she arched into his hand. She moaned softly in contentment and turned her head slightly to look at her mate too be. She gasped and tried to pull away when red eyes replaced gold. “Inu...Inu-Yasha?” She squeaked out as the hand moved lower. She tried to pull away again, but was pulled back against his firm chest.

“Don't be afraid,” he said, his breaths coming in pants now as her beauty engulfed him. He growled softly and nipped at her neck, turning her head to the right as he did so. He flicked his tongue out over her heated skin and slid his hand under the waist band of the shorts she was wearing. He growled at the sound of Kagome's gasps and silent pleas. He grinned and paused for a moment when his hand came in contact with a place that made Kagome gasp loudly and hiss in pleasure. “Inu-Yasha!” she cried out her hand clinging to his hitoe.

Inu-Yasha lost it as her cry reached his ears. His vision became red and with full demonic speed he picked Kagome up and swiftly had her lying on the bed, her clothes already in a pile.

Kagome was panting, when Inu-Yasha had touched her in her most private place she had felt a burst of pleasure run through her. Her mind was hazy with need now, a need she had never really encountered before. This was much more demanding then anything else she had ever felt and the building pressure in her abdomen. She whimpered and she reached out to pull Inu-Yasha close onto to come in contact with skin and not cloth. Her eyes snapped open and the first then she registered was she was she was lying on her back. The second thing she noticed was the fact that both she and Inu-Yasha were nude. The third was that Inu-Yasha had gone full demon, markings and all. Fear spread through her for a moment, which Inu-Yasha picked up on.

Inu-Yasha frowned slightly and started purring comfortingly as he saw fear in Kagome's eyes. He ran his hand down her stomach again and rubbed her lovingly, calmingly. “I won't hurt you,” He murmured again, spreading her legs gently. He wouldn't hurt her intentionally, there would be some pain the first time, but he would be careful. “Please Kagome, don't be afraid,” he whispered, his warm breath sending shivers across Kagome's skin. He continued to run his hands over her, massaging parts of her until he felt her arousal return and the fear fade away.

Inu-Yasha captured her lips in a searing kiss as he positioned himself between her legs. He couldn't wait much longer, his length pulsed with need and Kagome was wet and ready. “I love you,” he murmured as he gently started to push into her.

Kagome gasped and whimpered softly, she wrapped her arms tightly around him as she felt him start to push into her. Was he supposed to feel that large? She screwed her eyes shut and tears prickled the edges of her eyes. She wanted this, she understood that it might hurt, but he felt so large for her. She could feel him move slowly into her and she was grateful for it.

After a few minutes Inu-Yasha was panting heavily having finally pushed all the way into Kagome. Her walls constricted around him, pulling at him. Kagome was relaxed and he felt her hands unclench themselves from his back. He waited a moment longer until he felt Kagome arch gently against him. “I…I'm” she tried to tell him she was ready, but words failed her suddenly as Inu-Yasha pulled out carefully and pushed back into just as carefully. She could see the strain in his face, and feel his muscles bunching up as he forced himself to go slow and be careful for her. She moaned and gently clawed at his back as he pulled out again only to push back in a little faster.

Inu-Yasha was close to loosing it. He was forcing himself with every once of his being to go slow for awhile, but since his demon was already in control it was hard for him to convince the demonic part of him to be careful. His demon side wanted to plunge into Kagome again and again, to pup her, and to mark her for everyone to see that she belonged to him. He ground his teeth together and was so occupied with trying to control himself that when hot, needing lips captured his own he was utterly surprised. He plunged into Kagome fast and hard, his demon taking full control as Kagome cried out in pleasure. He pulled out swiftly and plunged in again. Inu-Yasha moaned and growled in pleasure at the feel of Kagome's hands clawing at him and her need enveloping him.

 

Kagome couldn't believe it, she felt like she was going to burst because of how slow he was going. She had adjusted to him readily enough after a few minutes of him going slow, now she needed him to pick up the pace. She could feel the hot coil inside her tightening as he pulled out and pushed back into her. She could feel her body clinging to him each and every time. It was time to take matters into her own hands…lips in this case. She latched onto him and slammed her lips onto his, forcing his lips apart with her tongue. She searched his mouth, clawing at his back as he went faster and harder. She moaned and gasped, arching against him and meeting his thrusts with her own. She was so close, so very close. She wrapped her arms tight around him and felt him nuzzle her left shoulder as he panted and gasped himself. She felt him lick her neck and she cried out in pleasure and surprise. “Inu-Yasha, please!” she begged as his fangs scraped against her shoulder.

Inu-Yasha heard her plea and went faster, faster then any human male could. He growled deeply and felt his fangs elongate as he felt his climax coming. He panted and just as he felt his pleasure bursting from him, making his knot slam into her locking them together, he bit her deeply on the shoulder.

Kagome cried out as pleasure mixed with pain slammed through her senses. The pain enhanced the pleasure and she clung to Inu-Yasha desperately as she rode out the orgasmic waves. She dug her hands into his back and kept her legs wrapped around him as she felt him pulse inside of her. She moaned softly as the pulsing forced her abused muscles to stretch a little each time.

As Inu-Yasha's fangs retreated from Kagome's shoulder, his demon also retreated into his mind. His demon was content and pleased with being able to finally claim this beautiful female laying under him. He would be content, for the time being. As Inu-Yasha regained control of himself, he pulled gently out of Kagome, his body and senses already registering the fact that Kagome could not be pupped at this time. Inu-Yasha lifted himself up onto his shaking arms as Kagome finally released him from her death grip. He purred contently at the vision under him. Kagome was still flushed, her breasts shaking with every breath she took. Her hands clenched and unclenched every few seconds. Her eyes were still closed and her head was still tilted to the right, exposing the bite mark he had placed on her shoulder. He leaned down and flicked his tongue lazily over the bite mark, making his mate shiver and gasp.

Kagome felt relaxed and extremely satisfied with what just happened. She gasped softly and her eyes fluttered open as she felt Inu-Yasha's tongue slide across her shoulder, which felt very sensitive right then. She looked up into content golden orbs and she smiled loving, reaching up to run a finger across his cheek. “I love you,” she murmured tiredly.

“I love you too,” He whispered as he kissed her lightly on the lips. “Rest my love, tomorrow will be another busy day,” he whispered seductively into her ear. He felt her heart beat speed up and he grinned. She did realize he would want to take her multiple times while they were alone, right? He chuckled and felt his mate under him fall into sleep and he shifted so that he was lying on his side next to her. He stayed like that for awhile before sighing and grabbing a couple furs. He pulled the furs onto himself and Kagome, pulling her close as he did so.

He held her close and his content smile turned to an angry frown. If it wasn't for Naraku, he could have pupped her tonight. He swore then and there he would kill Naraku as soon as he could, in order to start the family his heart yearned for.

“Soon.” He murmured as he ran a clawed hand through Kagome's hair.

After awhile, he too fell asleep with Kagome tucked under his chin. Outside, the sliver of the moon shown with a pale light as the stars twinkled and the heavens released a collective sigh. Everything was falling into place.

Ok, so it's not as long as Sesshomaru and Ether's chapter. But I never was good with the typical Inu-Yasha/Kagome scenes. So here you go. Hope you guys enjoyed it.

 

For some reason, every time I looked at how I was going to write this chapter, I thought Kagome would be really shy about it and nervous. So that's what happened. Oh well, tell me if you guys want a look at Richard and Sarah. If not I'll just go and write the next chapter with Sesshomaru and Ether.
