Foot falls was heard in the distance.Creatures turned to see a young girl, or what was left of what should have been, walking in the depths of the forest.One would think the dead had been raised if they looked at the poor excuse for a human.Kagome's bone's protruded fro her body and you could see the muscle tissue and skeleton underneath the skin strain with every jarment she made.Her eyes were sunk into the back of her head, and her hair limp and greasy from depression and from not washing.Her skin was an unhealthy grey colour and her eyes were that of the haunted.They were large and the once chocolate depths were now a black.They now always held fear,anger,depression and the trace of searching in them.Kagome sighed as she saw a sakura tree in the distance.She looked up into the night sky and glowered as memories flooded into her wrecked mind.She sat undreneath the large tree.Looking up at the sakura blossoms, she looked up at the twinkling lights above her.Drawing in a pained breath, she glared at the heavens in hatred and sobbed.......

Kagome sighed as she leaned her head against her two arms that lay underneath her.Hearing a "keh" she turned and giggled at the disgruntled hanyou."Dajibou?"She asked quesitonally.Inu Yasha glowered at her."Why are we out here Kagome?This is pointless!We should be resting so we can find more jewel shards tomorrow!"The half dog demon growled.Kagome exhaled in exasperation and turned to the hanyou, pinning him with her stare."Inu Yasha, arent they pretty?My oka-san says they're the peeping holes for angels."Kagome murmured.Inu Yasha's snort of indignation filled the silent clearing."Keh! Blushing,she quickly brought her lips to his.Inu Yasha's eyes widened in surprise as their lips met.Kagome wrapped her arms around his raised head and sighed into the lip lock.Inu Yasha relaxed into the pleasant feeling and drew in her scent and almost passed out from happiness.Bringing his claws to the middle of her back, he pushed her gently onto him more, deepening the kiss.He traced his tounge on her lips,begging for entrance.Kagome shyly opened her mouth to him.Inu Yasha's tounge dove through her opened lips and tasted her hot,warm honey.Purring with joy, he became faint as Kagome's tounge touched his and twirled around it.The two made love to eachother's mouths until they came up for air.Kagome stared into Inu Yasha's loving gaze as did he.Blushing and giving a shy smile, she lowered herself back on his shoulder,starting to doze off."Maybe...stars are good for something."She heard Inu Yasha whisper to her.

He said he would always protect me!But where is he now ?!"She screamed to the heavens,her body shaking from tears.Looking at the ground in hatred,she tore at it in her fury, breaking her nails and cutting her hands from sharp roots.Bowing her head in defeat as she sat on her knee's, she watched as each tear soaked the soil beneath."But...he never said how would protect me from himself."She whispered to the wind.Thats when she noticed the sharp rock near her hand.Her gaze hardening, her eyes steeling,she picked up the stone that was as sharp as a sword."Or myself."She whispered as she slowly brought the rock to her cheast onto her heart.
