Dem: And were back! Sorry for the wait I had a lot of homework to do! Geeez! Being a senior is hard!

Inu: Hey! Will you just hurry up! They've been waiting long enough!

Dem: oh shut up! You just like hearing this chapter!

Inu: Feh! * Sits on ground like dog and pouts *

Dem: Cute!!! Ok anyways I only got 1 review last time! But I feel so special! Thanx Goku's Lover!! Anyway on with the story! Oh yea! And sadly I still don't own InuYasha. * Sniffles *

Inu: kidnapper!

Dem: * laughs shyly * yea ok back to the story.

InuYasha's heart raced he had never been so nervous and by Kagome's intoxicating scent she was too.

InuYasha just wanted dinner to be over. `No backing down, I have to do this, I'll just take her hands look her in the eye and say Kagome, I love you.'

But as Luck would have it Kagome's Grandfather decided to have sake with dinner and when in his drunken state he offered some to everyone and everyone got a bit tipsy (except Sota).

After the dishes were cleared and conversations were coming to a close InuYasha nudged Kagome and motioned her upstairs. Kagome nodded and wobbled up the staircase to her room.

Kagome walked straight to her bed and sat down. Kagome smiled up at InuYasha as he came into the room and closed the door behind him; he walked across the room and sat down to a very intoxicated Kagome.

InuYasha took a deep breath and turned to look at her. Kagome just smiled dumbly.

"Kagome, we need to talk about something."

"I know." Kagome exclaimed dumbly and slightly slurred.

InuYasha smirked and slightly shook his head. But before he could continue what he was going to say Kagome blurted out something that took him by surprise.

"InuYasha, I love you! And you love me! Right? Right! So ya know what!" Kagome slurred out "lets have sex!" Kagome whispered out the last part like it was some sort of exciting secret.

InuYasha's eyes grew as large as plates. "What!"

Kagome gave him the saddest puppy face she could muster and even quivered her bottom lip for effect. She leaned over him and looked up into his amber eyes. She then slid her hand up the top of his thigh, around the curve of his hip, over his stomach and stopped at his chest as she played with the ties of his haori.

InuYasha wanted nothing more then to take her then and there, her scent was almost overwhelming with arousal. If he didn't stop her he might loose control. Part of him didn't care but the other part did and knew she was drunk and that she wasn't aware of what she was really doing, because she sure as hell wouldn't act this bold normally.

InuYasha really didn't want to do it but he didn't want to hurt her. InuYasha grasped Kagome's wrists gently and pulled her into his chest and kissed her forehead. "Kagome your drunk we'll talk tomorrow when you feel better." InuYasha stood up laid Kagome down on her bed, covered her up, and leaned down and kissed her forehead again.

"Goodnight my love, sleep well, I'll be right here when you wake up." InuYasha whispered into her ear and nuzzled her hair before planting another kiss on her temple. InuYasha stood up and crossed the room to the window and watched as Kagome drifted off to sleep.

"Goodnight, my Kagome." And with that InuYasha crawled out through the window onto his perch in the tree outside her window and drifted off to sleep.

"InuYasha!… InuYasha! Where are you?" Kagome called mischievously, she was walking rather quickly through a forest, and she couldn't see a thing even though the moon was full. Everything was black, all around her the sounds of the night played like a sonata. "InuYasha!" Kagome sang out his name into the night once more before she got a response.

"Kagome." Kagome felt a slight breeze brush past her.

"InuYasha, where are you?"

"Over here Kagome."

Kagome walked towards his voice and came into a clearing. "InuYasha!" Kagome ran over to him, he was lying back against a huge rock on his elbows and his legs were stretched out in front of him and crossed at the ankles in an exceptionally sexy and taunting manner.

When Kagome approached the rock he was sitting lying on he sat up and stared into her eyes.

"InuYasha?" Kagome moved closer.

"Kagome come here."

Kagome walked into his open arms, as he hugged her closer she could feel him breath against her neck as he whispered into her ear "I love you."

"I love you too, InuYasha."

Kagome suddenly gasped in slight pain "Inu…. Yasha?" she squeaked out.

InuYasha was crushing her, She couldn't breath, she had to get him off of her or he would smother her. Kagome started pushing hard against him pushing with her arms and legs, anyway she could she struggled against him.

Kagome froze and gasped when he started laughing, but it wasn't InuYasha. Kagome started struggling again. "It's so familiar." Kagome had stopped breathing and felt sick, the world was spinning, and Naraku's face appeared in front of her instead of InuYasha's.

Kagome was shocked enough to gasp in a single small breath of air. Naraku was shaking her and still laughing manically.

Tears began to stain her face. The only thought that crossed her mind was ` I'm going to die, and I'm never going to see InuYasha again.'

Kagome was starting to black out when she heard him, InuYasha, he was calling her name, but from where? Why wasn't he saving her?

"InuYasha." She squeaked out weakly. The shaking became more forceful, and InuYasha was practically screaming her name.

Kagome felt small pats on her check and the only thing that went through her mind was InuYasha screaming something.

"WAKE UP!"

Kagome sat up straight and desperately gasped for air, one quick look around and she found InuYasha who had a frantic look of worry and panic on his face.

Kagome flung herself into his chest and clung to his haori as if her life depended on it. She sobbed into his chest, frantically talking but InuYasha couldn't make any of it out.

InuYasha ran his palm up and down her back trying to calm her down, when a gentle rumble sounded low in his chest.

At first Kagome thought he was mad at her and was growling at her but she realized that it was much to soothing almost like a purr that a Buyo made but different. It was so soothing and Kagome began to calm down.

"It's ok Kagome, your safe now, I won't let anything hurt you. Shhhhhh." InuYasha repeated this randomly and began slightly rocking back and forth.

"InuYasha I was so scared!" she sobbed.

"I know, shhhhh, it's ok now, it was just a bad dream. Shhhhhh."

Kagome looked up into his amber eyes, she saw the passion within there depths. The softer side of InuYasha that no one sees was shining through and she knew he loved her.

Kagome rushed up and kissed him, taking him by surprise. When she broke free she whispered against his lips four little words she had been dieing to say for years. "I love you InuYasha."

This time it was InuYasha to claim a kiss and whisper against her soft lips between three small kisses. "I….love you….too Kagome…."

Kagome wrapped herself into his lap and leaned her head against his chest. "InuYasha?"

"Yes Kagome?"

"Can we stay like this? Just for tonight? Just hold me, I don't want to be alone."

InuYasha smiled and began purring again. With very little effort he repositioned himself so that he and Kagome could lay comfortably on her bed but he never let her go. InuYasha lay there purring and gently running his fingers through her raven black hair when she drifted off to sleep and he smiled lovingly down at her.

InuYasha gently placed his hand over her stomach and ran his thumb up and down he closed his eyes and imagined her being pregnant. This thought played a wicked grin across his face as he opened his eyes and looked down at her sleeping form.

After about twenty minuets she muttered something about fuzzy flying monkeys and InuYasha had to suppress a laugh when she told the fuzzy flying monkeys to attack the neighbors because they where too nosey.

InuYasha shook his head with a smile and slightly repositioned her and closed his eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep.

When InuYasha awoke Kagome was not there, but he knew she was not far because her intoxicating scent was still strong, it was teasing InuYasha's senses and he sat up with a snort. InuYasha stretched his arms and yawn when Kagome knocked on the door.

* Knock * *Knock * * Knock *

InuYasha laid back down and closed his eyes just as Kagome walked into the room.

"InuYasha?"

"……….."

Kagome smirked and walked over to her bed and laid a tray on the floor.

"InuYasha, wake up." Kagome ran her hand gently across his check and leaned down and kissed his nose. InuYasha scrunched up his nose, twitched his ears, and cracked open his amber eyes with a smile.

"Good morning, koibito, I.... made you...some breakfast." Kagome pushed out shyly. "It's not ramen but…"

"I'm sure I'll like it if you made it."

Kagome smiled and blushed. She bent down and lifted the tray to her bed for him. InuYasha picked up his chopsticks and poked at his egg and raised an eyebrow at it, he picked it up with his chopsticks and examined it, sniffed it and eat it. InuYasha smiled at Kagome and continued to eat.

When InuYasha was done Kagome cleared the dishes away to the kitchen. InuYasha stood up from the bed and walked around her room and stopped in front of her full size mirror.

InuYasha growled at his reflection and was surprised when it did the same action. InuYasha sniffed at the mirror and twitched his ears manically. When he reached up to touch the scentless demon it did once again the same action. `What the hell?'

InuYasha addressed the scentless demon it addressed him too but made no sound, InuYasha poked the mirror again and then look behind the mirror but nothing was there but the hard blank back of the mirror and some dust bunnies.

When InuYasha looked back into the mirror he was started to see Kagome standing next to the scentless demon and when she giggled and kissed his cheek he nearly jumped out of his skin.

InuYasha stared at her then her reflection then back at her. As if reading his mind Kagome answered his unspoken question.

"It's a mirror silly."

"Me-err?"

Kagome giggled. "It's like when you lean over water and you can see yourself."

InuYasha mentally slapped himself for being that stupid and not realizing it was only himself in the mirror. InuYasha looked back into the mirror at himself, he was so dirty and his hair was tangled in a few places with dried mud or blood. Kagome wasn't going to want to mate someone who was dirty.

InuYasha looked at Kagome through the mirror. "Kagome, would it be ok if I took a bath?"

Kagome laughed. "Of course!" Kagome took InuYasha's hand and led him to her bathroom and started the water for him it would be awhile because the tub was so big so she told him what to do.

Finally she handed him a towel and said "Dry off with this and when you're done call for me so I can get in."

Before she could leave though InuYasha caught her arm. "Kagome, would you, umm…. I mean…" Kagome looked at him in bewilderment `Is he going to ask me what I think he's going to ask me!"

InuYasha sighed and just asked her his question as fast as he could.

"Kagomewillyoujusttakeabathwithme?"

"What?" Kagome asked innocently. She knew what he had said but she wanted him to ask her slowly, she didn't want him to be embarrassed about asked her something like that anymore.

`Great she's gonna think I'm a hentai and `sit' me into oblivion' InuYasha took a deep breath and mumbled out loud enough for her to hear "Will you bathe with me?"

Kagome blushed crimson red `oh boy here goes nothing' and with the slightest hint of a smirk responded to his question. "As you wish, InuYasha." Kagome looked up into his amber eyes and continued. "But can you wait a few more moments? My family is going out and I would like to see them off."

Still surprised by her answer InuYasha merely nodded. `I can't believe this, it's all going according to plan, she's aroused and sober! This means I can talk to her and I will be able to take her as my mate! But what if she backs out because of the consequences of mating with youkai? No, she won't. I know she won't.' InuYasha smirked arrogantly and bound happily down the stairs after his soon to be mate.

Dem: yea!!!!! Chapter two is done!

Inu: yea…. * waves tiny flag *

Dem: anyways this time I hope to get more then just one review, please? Thanx again Goku's Lover!

Inu: can I go home now?

Dem: shut up! you are home! And just to be nice I got you a present!

Inu:??????

Dem: TADA!!!!!

* Kagome trips out of a box *

Inu: Kagome!?

Kag: where am I? InuYasha!?

* InuYasha and Kagome start kissing * * DemonKitty closes a curtain around them *

Dem: * grins evilly * okay well I have to go now see you all later! Oh and don't forget to review!
