Chapter Seven: Kouga.

"Where are they!?" Shippo cried from Miroku's shoulder as they watched Sango pace a hole into Keade's floor.

"I do not know Shippo but if they don't return soon Keade is going to need a new floor."

"FOUR DAYS!" Sango cried out scaring the wits out of Miroku and Shippo. "It's been four fucking days! Were in seven hells are they?" Shippo and Miroku nearly had heart attacks from Sango's sudden outburst; she had been silent for hours.

"Sango, they'll be back soon, I promise, come sit down with us while we wait." Sango sighed and collapsed where she stood next to the wall.

"Keade?"

"Yes Shippo?"

"What if they don't come back?"

"Worry not child, they will return."

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~6 hours later~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

*Sniff* *Sniff* "Kagome?" Shippo said sleepily. He had been asleep for the last three hours. The sun was setting and Sango and Miroku had left to go on a walk to get their minds off they whereabouts of their friends.

"Keade! There back!" Shippo exclaimed now fully awake.

"I know Shippo, they've been back for nearly an hour I tried to wake you but you wouldn't."

"Where are they?"

"Out back, go find Sango and Miroku." Shippo jumped up and ran outside in search of Miroku and Sango.

"Sango! Miroku! They're baaaaack!" Shippo ran through a bush and crashed into Miroku's leg. "They're back!" he repeated as he rubbed his forehead after crashing into Miroku.

"Finally!"

"I wonder what they were doing for four and a half days?"

THWACK! Sango smacked Miroku over the head with her boomerang. "Lech!"

"You know you love me." He winked up at her.

Sango blushed and walked back towards Keade's hut with Shippo.

"Kago…me?" Shippo stopped mid everything when he saw her. "InuYasha! Where's Kagome! And who is this?" Shippo cried as he lunged onto InuYasha's shoulder and started crying.

"Shippo, that is Kagome."

Shippo rubbed his eyes and jumped onto Kagome's shoulder and sniffed. "Kagome? What happened?"

Kagome giggled and looked at InuYasha.

"I mated with her you dolt, now get off your mother."

Shippo looked back at Kagome and smiled. "Why?" he pushed her hair back and continued to her instead of InuYasha. "I think your even prettier now and I thought you were pretty before."

Kagome blushed and kissed Shippo's nose. "Thank you Shippo."

Sango and Miroku walked outside. "Kagome! Keade told us what happened but I couldn't believe it!" Sango said as she embraced Kagome tightly.

"Your beauty surpasses all." Miroku said but leaned into Sango and whispered in her ear. "All that is but you my love."

Kagome and InuYasha smiled knowingly. "Thank you Miroku."

"I'm hungry!" cried Shippo as his and the others stomachs growled.

"Yea. Heh heh. Maybe we should go in." Kagome said with a nervous laugh as her stomach growled loudest.

~*~*~*~*~*~Back in the hut~*~*~*~*~*~*~

"InuYasha, will ye go retrieve us something for supper?"

InuYasha hefted himself up and sighed. "Yea alright."

"I'll do it!" called out Kagome full of excitement.

InuYasha raised an eyebrow at her in inquiry. "Really now?"

"What, you think I can't?"

"No! That's not what I meant!" InuYasha threw up his hands defensively.

"Well what did you mean then?" she asked crossing her arms over her chest in a very InuYasha stance.

"I… um… I mean… oh forget it!" Kagome laughed at his frustration and kissed his flustered cheek.

Sango, Miroku, Shippo, and Keade all sweat-dropped and went back to what they were doing, they had all been ready for a hanyou vs. hanyou battle of the sexes

"We'll go together." She said smiling.

"Feh." Kagome rolled her eyes and exited the hut.

"You don't think I can do it do you."

"I never said that." He said then thought. `I just don't want you to."

Kagome whirled around and kissed him then whispered softly with an evil grin. "Let's go hunting."

`Kami's she so fucking sexy when she does that!'

Kagome and InuYasha "sniffed" the ground crept through the forest in near silence save for the occasional brush of clothing.

Kagome suddenly stopped and motioned for InuYasha to follow suit. She pointed out into a small clearing where a nice sized deer stood grazing.

"Go ahead. You found him." He whispered just loud enough for her to hear.

Kagome grinned and slinked forward. (Much like a cat would when stalking.) She waited, and took another step closer, and another, never taking her eyes of the deer. When she was about 15ft from it she longed forward and grabbed it around the throat. Killing it instantly.

She sunk her claws into its neck amazed at the feel of blood running over her hand, feeling its pulse faint into oblivion. She grinned at InuYasha as he slowly made his way over to her.

"InuYa-SHAAA!!!" Kagome was suddenly swept off her feet and carried away into a nearby tree.

"Kouga! What are you doing!" she yelled.

"Kagome! What has he done to you! Not that I'm complaining… your gorgeous but still! He's violated you!" Kouga said pretending not to have heard her before.

"Shut up! And get your fucking hands off my mate! Yelled InuYasha from down below.

Kouga continued on as if he didn't hear InuYasha either. "Kagome, come with me, and leave dog-turd here to his dead bitch."

"Kouga, I…" she never finished her sentence because Kouga had done the unthinkable; he bent down and kissed her. Kagome's eyes were as wide as plates and InuYasha's were slowly filling with red.

InuYasha saw the evil grin in her eyes and did nothing when she kissed him back.

"Kouga dear." She said sweetly as she traced little circles on his chest.

"Yes Kagome."

Kagome grinned wickedly and grabbed his precious member and balls and squeezed hard. She pulled downward so that he was more eye level with her and whispered in his ear slowly. "If you ever do that again, I'll rip these off, put them in a box and feed them to your wolves, or be nice and let InuYasha kill you." she said the later in a sweet perky tone.

Kouga yelped and stood up quickly when she released him. "Your right. I apologize Kagome, it will never happen again."

"Glad you see it my way." She said sweetly and smiled, she then jumped from the tree and walked over to InuYasha and kissed his cheek.

"You may not share my feelings Kagome, but I will always be here, should you need me." Called Kouga from his branch.

"Why thank you Kouga!" she said with a genuine smile, which turned into an evil grin. "Now you boys play nice."

Kagome turned and walked towards her earlier kill and slung it over her shoulder and headed back to Keade's hut without another word.

Loud crashes could be heard from within the forest, Kagome reassured the others and continued watching Keade clean the deer.

"Kagome!" said girl smiled broadly as she bound out the door.

"Coming!" she called sweetly.

Kagome jumped into InuYasha's arms and began kissing him repeatedly over the lips.

"Kagome… I was… only… gone… for… not even… five minuets!" Kagome stopped and frowned and began checking for wounds. "If he hurt you I swear!"

InuYasha grabbed her wandering hands and kissed her forehead. "I'm fine, don't worry."

"Good! I wouldn't want to have to kill him, I might get dirty!"

InuYasha shook his head and laughed softly.

"InuYasha, will ye come and finish cleaning this deer for me?" came Keade's voice.

"Yea, whatever."

~*~*~2 or so hours later~*~*~

"I'm stuffed!" sighed Shippo as he curled up next to Kirara. Kirara purred and closed her eyes.

Sango stretched and yawned. "Miroku, I'm going to bed, you coming?"

Miroku smirked and followed Sango. "Night." They said in unison.

"Night." Kagome replied as she stood and somberly walked out the door. InuYasha nodded towards them and followed Kagome.

She smiled as she looked up at the night sky. "New moons coming, InuYasha, will I turn human again as well?"

"Yes, maybe, we should tell your family on that night."

"Yea… but, I think I need to do this on my own." Kagome looked up into InuYasha's eyes with a far off look.

"I understand Kagome."

"Thank you." She said as she kissed his cheek and laid her head on his chest when he pulled her into a tight embrace. After a short while he turned her around and rested his chin on her shoulder as he slowly started to sway from side to side.

InuYasha kissed her jawbone and slid his hand down her stomach her lean into him with a slight moan.

InuYasha's hand stopped over her belly button and very gently squeezed. Kagome's closed eyes flew open at the gesture and widened when he whispered, "Don't forget to tell your mother that she'll be a grand-mother."

Kagome whirled around and stared up into his eyes and smiled. InuYasha just smiled genuinely and pulled her into a tight embrace just as the tears poured from her eyes.

"I love you InuYasha." She whispered.

"I love you too." He whispered back softly into her after kissing the top of her head.

They stayed like that for a while, holding each other in a warm embrace, full of passion and love, whispering things inaudible to anyone but them. Finally they turned and went in side, totally oblivious to the fact that they had been being watched.

`So InuYasha has taken her as his mate…Naraku will find this most amusing I'm sure.' Kagura laughed wickedly and took flight on her feather.
