I forgot to mention (Thanks to Catty, Catherine!) Vampires who are half human CAN be in the daylight without being burnt or dust, but they can still be harmed. Crosses, stakes, garlic, and holy water can harm them. It's the full-fledged vamps that CAN'T be in the daylight.

Chapter 12-

Another Encounter with Kikyo and meeting Naraku

*Next Morning; Inuyasha's Room*

The sun's gentle ray's is wrapping a blanket of warmth around Inuyasha and Kagome as they lay asleep in bed. They were both sleeping very peacefully. Inuyasha had his arms protectively around Kagome's waist. She was snuggled very close to him. A smile grazed both their lips. The sun was warming them. It gave them a glow that only lovers could see. Inuyasha's ears moved to hear any sound or danger that might try to get them. The door quietly opened to see a curious Shippo, peeking in.

He looked towards the bed and smiled. Inuyasha noticed how he held Kagome gently in his arms. Inuyasha then walked to the bed and climbed in. He gently lifted Kagome's arms and snuggled within. He then fell fast asleep, not seeing amber eyes (he returned hanyou as they slept) looking upon the sleeping kitsune.

It is now 9:00am and that's when Kagome awoke. She opened her eyes and felt weight within her arms. She looked down to see Shippo sleeping with a smile on his face. She smiled also and when she turned to look at Inuyasha, she saw amber.

"Good morning, love." He whispered. She smiled warmly. "Good morning." She replied back and kissed his nose. Inuyasha released his arms, being careful not to wake Shippo and got out of bed. He then proceeded to get his shirt. Kagome watched from her place as he moved around, getting his clothes and putting them on. He turned to see Kagome watching him. He smirked.

"Like what you see?" She saw mischievousness in his eyes. She smiled and winked. "Very much." Inuyasha growled playfully and then lunged at her. Kagome squeaked and ran off the bed as he landed. As she ran, she picked up her shirt and put it on. She stopped as she heard low growling from behind. She turned around and saw Inuyasha right behind her. She squealed as Inuyasha tackled her down and he started kissing her lips and worked his way down to his mark.

He made it and started sucking and licking it. Kagome moaned and reached up and started rubbing his ears. Inuyasha groaned from the sensation she was giving him. He couldn't help but growl. He started running his hands over her body. Just as he was about to rip her shirt off and take her there and make her his completely, there…

"KAGOME!" squealed Shippo as he landed on Inuyasha's head and started hitting him. He started hitting his head. "Get off of Kagome!"

Inuyasha groaned as Kagome giggled. He got off of Kagome and Shippo got off of Inuyasha and hugged her. He hugged her very tightly. "He didn't hurt you, did he?" Kagome looked into Shippo's emerald eyes and smiled. "No, he didn't."

Inuyasha heard him and picked up Shippo by his collar. "Let me go!" he wailed, thrashing around. "I would never harm Kagome, Shippo. Why would I? She is my mate, Shippo." He said proudly. Shippo looked at Kagome and she nodded. Inuyasha gently let Shippo down and he crawled to where mates mark themselves. There, indeed, was the mark of a future mate to be.

Shippo looked from Inuyasha and Kagome. He saw Inuyasha smile and nod. He saw the same from Kagome. He smiled widely and his eyes shined. He was so happy. He hadn't been since his parents died and Inuyasha took him in. Now, he was going to have a family again. He squealed and hugged Kagome. She hugged back. He turned to Inuyasha and jumped into his arms, hugging him.

"Does this mean Kagome's going to be my mommy now?" He asked in his child voice. Inuyasha held a hand to Kagome, who gladly took and helped her up. He then turned back to Shippo and smiled. "Yes, if she wants to." Shippo looked innocently at Kagome. "Please, Kagome?" Kagome smiled and took him in her arms.

"Yes. I'd love to be your mother. I know I won't replace your real mother, but I'll do my best." Shippo smiled and hugged his "mother". "Ok. We should get something to eat. I'm starved!" Inuyasha replied. The others agreed and they headed for the kitchen.

*Kitchen*

Sango and Miroku were already eating breakfast. They were eating eggs, bacon, sausages, and grits. (YUMMY!)

They looked up when they heard the door open. They saw Inuyasha and Kagome, who was carrying Shippo walk in. They noticed that Inuyasha and Kagome's hair was messed. They got their breakfast and started eating.

Sango and Miroku looked at each other and got the same idea. They turned to Inuyasha and Kagome. They then noticed the two marks on Kagome's neck.

"Yasha, have you claimed Kagome as your future mate?" Sango asked. Both Inuyasha and Kagome stopped eating and looked from each other to them. Inuyasha nodded. "I claimed her as my future mate last night." Both gasped. "Why'd you not tell us?! Way to go!" both Sango and Miroku yelled in unison.

"You guys were asleep. Besides, IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!" Inuyasha said. They knew that he was right. They stopped questioning them for now, but they would get their answers soon. "That means I can't hit on Kagome-sama?" With that, he heard a growl from Inuyasha, whose eyes slightly turned red. Miroku flew up his hands in surrender. "Sorry, man!" Kagome saw this and gently laid her hand on his shoulder. He immediately calmed down.

Both Sango and Shippo hit Miroku numerous times, giving him about 10 bumps. Sango also gave him quite a few slaps, leaving red hand marks on his face. With that, he fell on the ground; out cold. They then went back to eating breakfast.

"I'm going to need a ride to school, Inuyasha." Kagome said, finishing up her breakfast. Inuyasha had finished his breakfast and nodded. They got their stuff and left for the garage. On the way, Shippo gave Kagome a hug and said good-bye. They then headed out.

*Garage*

Inuyasha and Kagome grabbed their helmets and put them on. Inuyasha got on first and helped Kagome. She wrapped her arms around his waist. They then drove to the school.

*School*

Girls and boys stopped what they were doing when they saw the familiar cycle riding in. The girls had hearts in their eyes and sighed dreamily, while the guys were fuming with jealousy. Inuyasha parked the cycle near the entrance and Kagome got off. They took their helmets off. Kagome then grabbed her bag and turned to Inuyasha. She smiled warmly at him and he smiled back.

"Thanks for the ride, Inu-chan." She said. Inuyasha slightly blushed from his new nickname. He loved how it sounded coming from her lips. "It was no problem, Kagome. Glad I could do it." As Kagome turned to head into the school, she was gently grabbed by the waist and turned around. She then felt cool warm lips on hers. She then felt his tongue, asking for permission, which she granted. She moaned as he probed her sweet mouth. After a few minutes, they broke apart.

"See you later, Kagome." He purred seductively. Kagome slightly blushed, but shook it out. She then reached out and started to rub his ear. She heard what she wanted; he was purring. She giggled and kept it up. Inuyasha was in heaven. Her touch was so soft and gentle. It sent shivers throughout his entire body. She soon stopped. He looked at her and whimpered. She smiled and whispered, "There's more where that came from."

Inuyasha then scooped her up and kissed her passionately. After a few moments, they broke apart.

"INU-BABY!" Came, an annoying voice. They both sighed and looked to see as Kikyo hauled herself onto Inuyasha's back. "Why are you still with this trash when you should be with me, Inu-baby?" Kagome fumed and was about to smack her again, when they heard…

THUMP!

Inuyasha had thrown Kikyo onto the ground. "NEVER…CALL KAGOME TRASH, YOU BITCH!" He yelled. Kikyo got up and dusted herself; ignoring what he said. She then walked to Inuyasha seductively. (YUCK!) She ran her finger over his chest and down near his pants.

"Come on, Inu-baby," she purred seductively, "You know you want me." At that, Inuyasha threw her hand away from him. He then walked and wrapped his arms around Kagome. He laid his head on hers and sniffed her scent, which calmed him greatly. It had to take all his strength not to turn demon.

"I never wanted you, Kikyo." He said turning to look to her. (Go, Inuyasha!) "I want Kagome, who's going to be my future mate. I never loved you Kikyo never have and never will. You hurt my friends especially Shippo. You only dated me for my money and not for who I was!"

Kikyo pretended to be shocked. "What do you mean you never loved me and that I was only dating you for your money!? That's not true! I dated you because I loved you! (I'm getting sick from writing this, but I have too!) And I know you love me!"

"Think again, bitch! As I told you before, I never loved you! Why do you think whenever you tried to get in bed with me, I always resisted!? I knew that you were a bitch and a sleeping whore." NOW Kikyo's face was filled with shock. Everyone gasped. Kikyo so shocked that she ran away with tears in her eyes. (Way to go Inuyasha! ~Cheering! ~ You tell her!) Everyone then cheered for Inuyasha. Nobody has ever had the guts to stand up to her.

Just as soon as everyone stopped, a guy with long black hair and black eyes walked to Inuyasha and Kagome. Inuyasha sniffed and smelt a familiar scent; dirt and earth. (I don't know how they describe Naraku's scent. If anyone knows, email me and I'll correct it!) He turned to see Naraku walking to them. He wore a black t-shirt, black leather pants and boots. His hair was in a ponytail.

"Naraku." Inuyasha growled and tightened his grip on Kagome. Kagome looked to see Naraku also. She felt scared and frightened. She wrapped her arms tightly around Inuyasha's waist and laid her head on his chest. Inuyasha felt Kagome's fear through the temporal mark on her and nuzzled her, hoping it'd calm her. It worked. The fear scent was still on her, but not as much.

"Well. Hello, Inuyasha. And who is this rare beauty?" Naraku greeted. Inuyasha growled. "Her name's none of your business! Why don't you fuck off, Naraku?" He growled. "No need to growl, Inuyasha. I'll leave as soon as I know her name."

"Kagome." She said. Naraku turned to Kagome and nodded. As he left, he looked back and winked at Kagome. As soon as he was gone, Inuyasha turned to Kagome. "Don't go near Naraku, Kagome. He's bad news."

"You don't have to tell me. I'll stay away from him. I promise."
