Just to remind you, (Thanks to Catty, Catherine!) Vampires who are half human CAN be in the daylight without being burnt or dust, but they can still be harmed. Crosses, stakes, garlic, and holy water can harm them. It's the full-fledged vamps that CAN'T be in the daylight.

Chapter 17

Encountering Kouga Once Again

*Kagome*

Kagome was at her locker, getting her lunch. As soon as she closed it, she felt arms wrap around her. She smiled, thinking it was Inuyasha, but what was said next, made her blood run cold.

"Hello, Kagome. How's my woman?" came a familiar voice. Kagome stiffened and turned to see….

"Kouga!" she squeaked. She tried to get his arms off her, but couldn't. She was about to yell for Inuyasha, but Kouga clamped his hand over her mouth and dragged her to an empty room.

*Empty Room; Kouga and Kagome*

As soon as they entered the room, Kouga locked it behind himself and turned to Kagome. She was afraid for herself and her baby. "What do you want, Kouga." She calmly said. Kouga walked up to her and tightly grabbed her arms. The pain shot through her arms. She gasped from the pain and looked at Kouga terrified. "What are you doing!? Let go! You're hurting me!"

She tried to pry his hands off of her, but couldn't. "You're mated to that dog-shit!? You're MINE and no one else's!" he yelled. "Inuyasha's not a dog-shit! YOU are! I'm HIS and ONLY his!" she said. His eyes glowed red and he slapped her. The pain from the hit gave her a pretty good bruise. She gasped and held her injured cheek in her hand.

Tears formed in her eyes. "THAT'S for mating with the dog-shit." When he slapped her, his grip on her loosened and she backed up. Kouga stalked towards her. "I'm going to correct your mistake." He said with lust in his eyes. Kagome backed up further into a dark corner and whimpered. "Inuyasha." She whispered.

*Inuyasha*

It had been twenty minutes and Kagome hadn't shown up. He and the others were very worried. He suddenly felt a sting on his cheek. "No!" Inuyasha thought as he raced to where he could feel Kagome's presence. The others were very confused and decided to follow. On the way, Inuyasha could feel his demon scream. "Hang on, Kagome. I'm coming!" He thought.

*Kagome and Kouga*

As Kouga hovered over Kagome, she looked at him with tears. "What are you going to do?" she asked. Kouga stopped right in front of her and crouched down, taking her chin in his hand. "First, I'm going to kill your unborn child that you're carrying. ~Kagome's gasps and protectively wraps her arms around her belly. ~ You're only allowed to carry MY pup and not HIS!"

He then tore her arms from her belly. He then grabbed her roughly and threw her to the other wall. She hit it with her belly and fell to the ground. She gasped for air and suddenly realized she hit the wall with her belly facing it. "Oh, no." she gaped and looked to see her panties bleeding. "NNOOOO!!!!!" she screamed as she cried. Kouga advanced on her.

*Inuyasha*

As he came upon the area where he could smell and sense her, he heard a bloody scream. "NNOOOO!" He knew then that was Kagome's scream. He sniffed the air and he smelt blood. It wasn't Kagome's, but of their pup's. His eyes grew wide and he growled loudly. His eyes changed red in an instant. He was beyond pissed. That wolf would pay with his blood.

*Kagome and Kouga*

Kouga now had Kagome under him and he was "kissing" her neck. (Retch! More like violating!) She tried to get him off of her, but she was in too much shock. As he was about to lift her shirt, the door slammed open and there came a huge roar. He was thrown off of Kagome and hit the farthest wall.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING TOUCHING MY BITCH!?" Inuyasha howled. He was crouched over Kagome. His shirt ripped from the transformation. He sniffed and smelled blood. "Can't you see she's pregnant!?" Kouga slowly got up, with the help of the wall. He smirked at Inuyasha. "Not anymore, shit-head." Inuyasha's red eyes widen.

He turned to see Kagome crying in a nearby corner. Her arms were around her stomach and she rocked back and forth. He crawled over to her and wrapped his arms around her, nuzzling her neck. Kagome wrapped her arms around her mate and cried. "I lost the pup." She whispered. "Its ok, Kagome." Kagome looked at Inuyasha, shocked. "No, it's not! It's MY fault I lost our child!"

Inuyasha brought her closer to himself. "We can try it again when you're in heat." She calmed down. Kouga walked towards them. Inuyasha smelt him and growled. "Fuck off, Kouga! It's your fault that our child died!" "Kagome's MY mate and only MINE." As Kouga reached to take Kagome, he found himself on his back with a growling Inuyasha over him.

"Get it through that thick brain of yours. Kagome's not yours. She's MINE! I claimed her and therefore, she's MINE! If I see you near or even touching her, I'll kill you!" With that said and done, Inuyasha slashed at Kouga, giving him a really huge claw marks on his chest. Blood poured out as Kouga gasped for air. Inuyasha then went back to Kagome. Just then, Sango and Miroku came in.

"What happened?" Sango asked, walking to the grieving couple. "We lost our child." Inuyasha simply said. He then picked Kagome up in his arms and disappeared. The others watched him and after he was gone, they turned to Kouga. They smirked evilly and went to work. All that was heard were bones crunching and screaming.

*Mansion*

Inuyasha entered his room and gently laid Kagome on the bed. He then went to his bathroom and grabbed the first-aid kit. He returned and started cleaning her wounds. As soon as he was done, he returned and crawled in behind her. He gently set her between his legs, and gently wrapped his arms around her, laying his head on top of hers. That's how the others found them.

Inuyasha: I can't believe you made Kagome loose our child! I'm going to kill you, Shero!

Shero: Yeek! ~ Runs from Inuyasha~ I promise, Inuyasha, there'll be a very romantic scene with you and Kag!

Inuyasha: ~ immediately stops and lustily looks at Kagome. He grabs her, puts her on his shoulder, and runs to an empty room. We hear grunts and moaning coming it. ~

Shero: ~sighs~ Keep it down in there!!
