Just to remind you, (Thanks to Catty; Catherine!) Vampires who are half human CAN be in the daylight without being burnt or dust, but they can still be harmed. Crosses, stakes, garlic, and holy water can harm them. It's the full-fledged vamps that CAN'T be in the daylight.

Chapter 19

Again…Naraku

*Inuyasha's Room; Next Day*

Inuyasha and Kagome were sleeping peacefully with smiles on their faces. Their door quietly opened and Shippo appeared. He quietly walked into the room and closed the door. He saw his mother and father's sleeping forms on the bed. He walked over to them and snuggled in between. As soon as he fell asleep, Inuyasha opened his eyes. He looked down to see Shippo sleeping between him and Kagome.

He gently smiled and ruffled the pup's head. Shippo awoke and looked at Inuyasha. "Hi, daddy." He whispered as he hugged Inuyasha. He gladly hugged back. "Morning, Shippo." He greeted. Shippo snuggled closer to Inuyasha sniffed the air. He smelt Inuyasha's, Kagome's, and a different, yet, familiar scent; like it was a mixture of Inuyasha and Kagome.

He looked at Inuyasha and saw him nod. His eyes widen and sparkled. You could actually see stars in his eyes. "Mommy's pregnant?" He asked. Another nod. Shippo smiled widely and began jumping up and down on the bed. That caused Kagome to awake. She opened her eyes. "What's all the jumping about?" Shippo stopped and he and Inuyasha turned to Kagome. "You're pregnant!!!" Shippo cheered and hugged Kagome.

Kagome hugged him back and nodded. Inuyasha watched his mate and pup embrace each other. He then grabbed Shippo's tail (gently) and set him on Kagome's lap as he wrapped his arms around Kagome. She snuggled closer to him as Shippo snuggled closer to her. After a few more hours, they decided to get ready for school. Shippo left to let his parents change. Kagome grabbed everything she needed and walked into the shower.

*Shower*

She closed the door and began undressing. As soon as Kagome was undressed, she stepped into the shower and turned on the water. She got it to where she wanted it and started to wash herself. She then felt a cool draft enter the room and the door open. Pale-tan arms wrapped around her and a wet nose nuzzled her neck. She giggled from the nuzzling and turned to see her handsome mate looking back at her. (Man! I'd like to be in Kagome's place!)

He was also undressed. His chest was perfect. It wasn't too toned, but just right. His silver hair was drenched from the water. She smiled at him and kissed him. He kissed back with passion. He then led her to the wall and began kissing her. Next thing you could hear were moaning and growling coming from the room.

After an hour in the shower, they were done. Kagome had a pick towel wrapped around her and she had another she used to dry her hair. Inuyasha had a blue towel wrapped around his waist as he dried his hair. They then dressed. Inuyasha wore a red t-shirt that clung to him, black leather jeans, his boots, and his duster. Kagome wore a blue leather no-sleeve shirt, black leather jeans and her boots. They then went to get breakfast.

*Kitchen*

As the couple walked in, they saw Miroku and Sango grabbing at each other's clothes! Both were very shocked. They cleared their throats and Sango and Miroku quickly stopped what they were doing and went back to eating. Kagome giggled and Inuyasha chuckled at their blushing friends. Soon, everyone was done. They headed off to Kaeda to drop off Shippo and rode to school.

*School*

As the gang walked through the hallways, they got glances from both the girls and the guys. The girls had hearts in their eyes and sighed dreamily while the guys held anger in their eyes, but were wolf-whistling and cat-calling both Sango and Kagome. Both, Inuyasha and Miroku growled and placed a possessive arm around "their" girls. The guys immediately shut up and went back to what they were doing.

As they continued walking, Hojo walked up to them. "Hi, Kagome." He greeted. Kagome's smile faded. "What do YOU want, Hojo?" "I...uh...was wondering if you and I would get together sometime." Before Kagome could reply, Inuyasha spoke up. "Back off, Hobo! She's mine!" Inuyasha then pushed Hojo away. Hojo thought Kagome would help him, but she just stood there with a smirk on her face. Inuyasha returned to her side and the gang started walking again.

They soon grabbed their stuff and headed to first period.

*Classroom*

They were seated together. Inuyasha/Kagome together and Sango/Miroku. As class started, the door opened to reveal a badly injured Kouga. He had slash marks on his face and his left arm was in a cast. His right foot was in a cast too, but it wasn't as bad. He had a slash over his right eye. He walked in and took his seat. Both Sango and Miroku smirked.

First period soon ended and it was lunchtime. Kagome told them she had to get something from her locker and Inuyasha went with her. She made no complaint. After what happened last time, neither she nor Inuyasha was going to risk losing their pup again.

*Kagome's and Inuyasha's Locker*

As Kagome was getting her lunch, a shadow appeared behind her. She heard Inuyasha growling and turned to see Naraku looking at them. In an instant, she was behind Inuyasha. His eyes were turning from amber t red. His growling intensified. "What do you want, bastard!?" Inuyasha said venomously. Naraku smirked. "I want to talk to Kagome of course." He tried to grab Kagome, but his hand was slapped away with Inuyasha's claws.

His eyes were red and the demon took over, but he made sure not to cause a scene within the school. "I've told you before…stay away from my mate! She's mine!" Inuyasha growled. "Yeah right, dog-shit! ~Growl from Inuyasha~ A half-breed like you could never beat a full demon like me!"

Kagome had enough! She stood in front of Inuyasha, with him trying to pull back gently behind him. She looked at him and shook her head. She then turned to see Naraku smirk. She brought her hand back and slapped the shit out of him! He fell back with blood and a very red handprint on his cheek. He looked at Kagome murderously and as he sprang at her, he fell back down with Inuyasha on top.

"NEVER…TRY…TO HARM HER AGAIN!" he growled. He then slashed very deep cuts at Naraku and slashed at his eyes. As soon as he was done, he calmed down and took Kagome's hand. They returned to their group.

*The Gang*

The others saw them coming. They could hear Inuyasha mumble angrily under his breath and Kagome trying to calm him down. Inuyasha calmed down and the gang ate.

*After School*

It was now time to go home. Ever since Inuyasha threatened Naraku, they haven't seen him. It was like he disappeared! Kouga stopped bothering Kagome. She and Inuyasha were very happy to have the wolf off their backs. They were riding home when they saw an explosion! It was where they dropped off Shippo! They raced to see what happened!
