Chapter 6 A rather full day

Hi, guys I'm glad you like all my stories, and thanks for the absolutely great reviews I got. I will try to do evrything to get my stories to be extremely great and thus worth your time.

Kagome absolutely loved his car. He definetly was a total jerk, but the car, that black BMW E-Klass, was another thing. It was absolutely great, especially with the gray interior contrasting the outer appearance of the car. It was great, and extremely smooth to drive, if you'd neglect the slight feeling of dizzyness Rin caused with all her movements in the back.

"When do we get there ?" she asked for , what was exactly, Kagome and Sesshoumaru counted, 123-d time.

Kagome smiled and looked at the little girl.

"We're going to be there soon Rin, but until then let's play something. How about `I see something you don't see`?" she asked.

Rin seemed to consider it for a while and then agreed.

"But only if Sesshoumaru plays as well." The little girl answered.

"He will ." Kagome answered for him, totaly ignoring his icy glare .

Who was she to decide what he was doing or not doing? Glaring at her once again, she ignored him once again. `I knew mikos were suicidal, but this suicidal.`

"I see something you don't see and it's silver!" Rin chirped happyly.

"Sesshoumaru's hair." Kagome answered smiling at the now unhappy little face.Then it was her turn.

"I see something you don't see and it's, whatever colour you wish."

Rin started to think about it, but a object with every colour didn't really pop up in her mind so she pouted.

"Sesshoumaru, please help." She pleaded to him.

"The car mirror." He simply answered in his usual detached voice.

"The mirror?But it doesn't have every colour there is."she pouted again.

Kagome turned her once angry gaze from Sesshoumaru and placed a nice one on Rin.

"Well a mirror can reflect everything, so it can basicly reflect every colour." Kagome explained.

"Oh." Rin just answered , toying with the new information.

"Your turn Sesshoumaru." Kagome challenged.

Sesshoumaru simply looked at her out of the corner of his eyes , being rather amused with the mad looks her saphire eyes continued to grant him. ` Fiery, very fiery. Note to self - never get her fully mad.`

"I see something you don't see and it's" here he looked

at Kagome's skirt for a second before continuing "white."

Kagome's eyes instantly showed her extreme anger, while Rin kept looking for white objects.

Sesshoumaru was merely smirking at her , his eyes never once missing the road.

Kagome was just about to answer when Rin spotted the Zoo. Strangely the letters on the sign of the establishment were also white so Kagome had to swallow her retort, knowing fully well Sesshoumaru never ment the sign.

After exactly, Sesshoumaru counted, five hours of watching animals, petting animals, being scared of animals, feeding animals, and of course eating cotton candy,

Rin and Kagome that is, they were now sitting in a restaurant near the Zoo, eating dinner.

The restaurant was actually pretty nice . It was a only litt by candles which were placed on each table and on a few of the walls, but the food was really great.

At least until Rin got a little bit sick.

"What's wrong Rin?" Sesshoumaru asked already sensing a disturbance in her scent .

"Nothing I just feel a little sick , that's all." She answered.

"That's the cotton candy. Come on I'll go to the bathroom with you, it'll be Ok, I promise ." Kagome said while taking Rin to the bathroom.

"I just couldn't help but notice you here, Sesshoumaru."

A slightly venomous voice behind him said.

Kagura. One of the many after him.

Sighing Sesshoumaru got up and pulled out a chair for her.

" Yes , well people need to eat." He answered in his ice voice.

"I noticed you were here with your daughter .Such a family dedicated man." She continued. " I also couldn't help but notice that there was no guest name , near your name for the anual charity ball. Do you plan on attending alone?" she asked sweetly.

He knew where this was going, he knew it very well.

But just then Rin and Kagome came out of the bathroom , both smiling. Rin ran to her seat eying Kagura waryly, while Sesshoumaru stood and approached Kagome,

stopping her before she reached the table.

Taking one of her hands gently, he leaned foreword so he could whisper into her ear.

"Would you grace me with the honor of being my date for a charity ball?" he asked her silkyly, smirking as he noticed how she shivered because of this.

Turning her head and searching for his eyes, to ask him why he wanted her to be his date, she got lost in the intensity of his amber eyes.

Slowly Kagome nodded too captivated by his eyes to think about anything else.

Sesshoumaru graced her with one of his rare and breathtaking smiles and kissed her cheek gently.

Kagome froze instantly upon feeling his warm lips upon her soft skin but soon relaxed and let him lead her to the table, where she suddenly saw a rather beautiful woman , eying her jealously.

"I presome you already have a date then Sesshoumaru although I think you could have chosen better ." the woman answered while leaving.

"Good night sweetheart." Kagome said while tucking Rin in and giving her a kiss , after which she left the room. Sesshoumaru also bid the child good night and left to go after Kagome, seeing she had been unusually silent since the meeting with Kagura.

He knew that she was angry, but he had never seen this type of anger with her, so he didn't know what to expect.

Reaching her finally in the hallway, he took her elbow and made her face him which only resulted in almost being hit.

"What do you think you're doing?" Kagome hissed through clenched teeth, when Sesshoumaru cought her hand and dragged her to his study.

"Taking this elsewhere ." he simply answered.

After getting into his study and closing the door he faced her and was hit with something he hoped never to feel again, since the day his mother had died.
