Crete . . . yes, this was it the place where he could say goodbye. A island surrounded by the infinite blue of the Mediterranean.

Walking down to the beach, he let his feet get entangled into the waves of the sea, inhaling the sweet calming scent which belonged to Crete.

This was it, the sea with the color that rivaled the eye color of his love…

,,One day, we will meet again, but until then, Kagome, my love, my mate, goodbye. " he whispered to the wind never once expecting an answer which yet came.

Wandering , on the beach, letting the sand flow through her toes, she couldn't help but wonder what brought her here.

Brushing her fingers against the mark at her neck, she somehow felt it was because of this. It was his mark, something which showed he possessed her and strangely it pleased her to know that she belonged to him , even though she would probably never see him again.

But then, her throat went dry, her stomach did summer salts , her eyes didn't believe their own prediction, for there he was, in all his glory, his hair swaying to the side, his form clad in white, his eyes set on the scenery in front of him … the sea.

Walking towards him, she couldn't help but feel …feel she wanted to go back, back to him.

Suddenly she understood, understood that it didn't matter who he was, what he was, how he was, her heart , mind and body were addicted to him, a sweet , very sweet addiction.

She heard his words, and couldn't help but notice how they were laced with sadness, and then she found herself answering without even knowing.

,,One day, we will meet again, but until then, Kagome, my love, my mate, goodbye. "

,,Why goodbye, if I come back?" she whispered to him, startling him when he felt her arms wrap around him from behind.

He hadn't noticed her, hadn't felt her presence, but it was no doubt … lavender , thunder flowers, jasmine . . . Kagome.

,,You come back?" he whispered, turning in her arms facing her cried out eyes.

,,I needed to say goodbye, to my father , my family . " she whispered. ,,I didn't know why at first, but now after seeing you I do."

,,And why did you leave?" he whispered enveloping her in his arms, two, a courtesy of her.

,, To say goodbye to the past , and hello to …" she refused to meet his eyes.

Yes, this was his Kagome, shy and tempting. Hooking a finger under her chin, he forced her eyes to meet his.

,,To my addiction." She whispered, almost fearing he would think she considered him only that.

But then she was yanked into the air, brought to his chest and wirbeled through the air, his laughter echoing through the air.

,,My addiction ." he murmured when he stopped , bringing his lips to hers in a passionate kiss, making both remember past times.

Melting into his embrace she had one last question, when they broke apart for air.

,,Why Crete?"

,,Why did you come here?" he asked her softly.

Tracing her mark she answered instantly.

,,You wanted me to."

,,And you are that addicted to me , to do what I say?" he asked playfully.

,,Yep." She answered softly, bringing her lips back to his in an addicting kiss.
