Author's Note: Me again. Wow, only one more added a review and it was by ashpea124, thanks again for the review. People, the more reviews I get, the faster I get the chapters out, and that goes for probably every writer on Mediaminer. I apologize now because it's now a continuation/song fic, for the next few chapters until they find a cure.
Now people you might want to download this song to get a feel for the chapter:

After the Battle
Chapter 6
What the …?
The stirring of the body next to him, roused the sleeping hanyou. Twisting his wrist he came in contact with a lump that was mistakenly thought of as a resting place. The body next to him, jumped awake from the contact. Red-faced, Kagome leaned over Inuyasha to tweak his ears.
“Wench, quit that.” Inuyasha muttered, pulling the hand away from the appendage.
“Well, maybe you should quit fondling me. Then we'd be even.” Kagome said flatly.
The hanyou jumped, unknowingly knowing that he wanted a reaction. Not that this reaction was the one that he wanted. This reaction made up his mind that she didn't want to mate with him. Which in he hung his head mentally.
Kagome looked around the hut, seeing no one in the proximity. Sighing, she clambered out of the sleeping bag. Choosing a towel out of her yellow back-pack, she made her way to the hot springs that was located behind the last hut in the village.
When she reached the hot spring, she located Sango, relaxing in the warm water. Kagome released the clasp that held her skirt together, it fell at her feet. Un-buttoning her blouse, and bra, she entered the hot spring. Relaxation was the number one priority on her list. With the company of Sango was just a plus.
“Kagome, I didn't think you'd be up. Inuyasha said you'd be asleep for a couple more hours.” Sango said, relaxing.
“Sango, I have a question. When I was… a hanyou, what happened? I don't remember much of that night.” Kagome asked timidly.
“You mean, you don't remember anything at all?” Sango said reprehensibly, at the news of Kagome's statement.
“No, I'm sorry. Should I remember?” Kagome asked again.
“NO, it's not your fault. It's just that you ran into Kouga last night. And then Inuyasha came and instigated a fight with him and well. I don't think that Kouga will be able to walk for a while.” Sango said, giggling.
“No. Inuyasha really did that?” Kagome asked skeptically.
“Yeah.” Sango relied the details of the previous night to Kagome, who in turn gasped at the right moments.
“Well, we've been in here for a good length of time. I think we should get out now.” Kagome looked at her now pruney hands. Climbing out of the spring, Kagome wrapped the towel around her body, and dried herself off. Pulling on her clothes, she felt refreshed.
They made their way back to Kaede's hut when something hurled at Kagome knocking the wind out of her.
“Kagome!!” Shippo cried.
“Runt, get off of her. How many times did I have to tell you not to run at Kagome?” Inuyasha scooped the crying kitsune out of Kagome arms.
“Inuyasha, osuawri.” Kagome yelled. Inuyasha slammed into the ground creating a crater the size of his body.
“Damn, wench.” Inuyasha mumbled into the disturbed earth.
“Osuawri.” Kagome yelled louder, making the crater deeper.
The command eventually wore off, and Inuyasha rocketed off to the hut, in time to see Miroku getting slapped. He didn't need to know the evidence to know that he earned it from grabbing Sango's derriere.
“You're never going to learn are ya, monk?” Inuyasha remarked.
“Inuyasha, it was worth everything.” Miroku replied, caressing his reward.
Kagome entered the hut, with Shippo in tow. She gathered some ramen from her back-pack and was starting dinner when a ruckus outside that was commencing.
“Inuyasha…” Kagome started, but by the time she looked in his direction, he was already gone. Following Sango out of the hut, Kagome gathered her arrows and bow. She sensed a demon coming closer.
“Stay back wench.” Inuyasha called, drawing Tetsusaiga out of its sheath, he instigated the battle.
“You insolent demon.” Inuyasha yelled at the demon that approached him from the woods. “Kaze no Kizu.” Inuyasha screamed as he swung his sword down. The ground trembled with the after-effects.
Sango yelled, “Hiraikotsu,” as it swung around the demon and cut its way through the demons body and sliced it in half. Kagome notched an arrow in her bow, and aimed it for the demon's head. She released the arrow and it embedded itself in the demon's head.
“Inuyasha. I don't know what type of demon it is. Should I, you know, collect in my wind tunnel?” Miroku asked the hanyou.
“Hell if I know.” Inuyasha remarked. Landing beside his companions, well… friends? Inuyasha caught the sight of Kagome out of the corner of his eyes and caught her before she landed on the earth floor. As he turned to look at the taijiya and monk, he shifted his head as if telling them to go back to the hut.
Inuyasha placed Kagome on top of her sleeping futon. Not sure, what happened back there with the demon and Kagome, Inuyasha became concerned. This hasn't happened before when we fought with a demon. What could have happened?
“Do you know what kind of demon that was, monk?” Inuyasha asked Miroku.
“I'm as clueless about it as you are. That demon was very unusual. I've never seen one of that kind before in my life. Have you seen one Inuyasha?” Miroku inquired.
“Right now, we have to calm down, and finish cooking this dinner. Kaede and Shippo went to another village due to a woman having troubles with her labor. So we'll deal with it.” Sango cued in.
“Alright, Sango keep an eye on the ramen. I'll be back. I'm going back to where that demon came from, maybe I'll find something there that can help us.” Inuyasha started. “And Monk, don't you think of doing anything that you're going to be knocked out for.”
Inuyasha, leaping from one tree to another, came to the field where the demon had been slain by him and the rest of the group. Landing on his feet, Inuyasha sniffed around the place to find anything in particular that stood out. Suddenly, something unsuspected happened. He broke out into song???
I walk alone
Think of home
Memories of long ago
No one knows I lost my soul long ago
Lied too much
She said that she's had enough
Am I too much
She said that she's had enough
What the heck was happening to him? Why couldn't he stop singing this weird song, but weird enough, it fit his mood.

Standing on my own
Remembering the one I left at home
Forget about the life I used to know
Forget about the one I left at home
I need to run far away
Can't go back to that place
Like she told me
I'm just a big disgrace
Remembering the one I left at home
Forget about the life I used to know
Forget about the one I left at home
I need to run far away
Can't go back to that place
Like she told me
I'm just a big disgrace
Kikyo and Kagome both told me that they didn't want to wait forever. Am I too much?
Lied too much
She said that she's had enough
Am I too much
She said that she's had enough
Standing on my own
Remembering the one I left at home
Forget about the life I used to know
Forget about the one I left at home
So now I'm standing here alone
I'm learning how to live life on my own
I have learned how to deal with it, but now Kagome has to go through the motions. I don't know if she'd be able to deal. She's too new to all this.
Lied too much
I think that I've had enough
Am I too much
She said that she's had enough
I'm standing on my own
Remembering the one I left at home
Forget about the life I used to know
Forget about the one I left at home
So now I'm standing here alone
I'm learning how to live life on my own
Forget about the past I'll never know
Forget about the one I left at home
Lied too much
I think that I've had enough
Am I too much
She said that she's had enough
I'm standing on my own
Remembering the one I left at home
Forget about the life I used to know
Forget about the one I left at home
So now I'm standing here alone
I'm learning how to live life on my own
Forget about the past I'll never know
Forget about the one I left at home
Damn song, this is getting on my nerves. Am I done? I think I am.
Inuyasha looked up through the leaves that shaded him from the sun. Is this what that demon brought upon the four-some. If so, they're gonna have a lot of trouble.
Author's Note: Now I know, I'm a little strange, but I think this working to my advantage, because some songs are triggering my writing muse. Well I would like some more reviews please.
Blanket Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha or the songs that I am incorporating in the next few chapters. I am not sure how long this is going to take. So I thank Rumiko Takahashi for creating such vivid characters.
