“What is the meaning of your presence?” A deep masculine voice asked.

“I have a proposition for you.” A woman voice answered.

“And why should I even listen to this proposition?”

“As I see it we both want him dead.”

“Continue.”

“I‘ll over look what your did to me, if you help me kill him.”

“Why? Can’t you kill him yourself?”

“We have both tried to kill him several times but every time she gets in the way, but not this time.” The man raised a questionable eyebrow. “I have made sure of it.”

“Is that so?”

The woman nodded “Do we have a deal?”

The man wore an evil smile and replied “Oh yes my dear.”

The woman wore a evil smirk and said “He won’t know what hit him.”

They both gave an evil laugh that filled the dark castle.

< br> “Lord Inuyasha.” Rin called walking into the dinning hall.

Inuyasha turned around “What is it Rin?”

“Lord Sesshomaru would like you to meet him in his office.”

He nodded wiped his mouth and stood.

“Inuyasha…I thought we were going to see Kagome?”

“Rin can you show me to Sesshomaru‘s office then take Shippo to see Kagome.” Rin nodded “Finish eating.” Inuyasha said ruffling Shippo’s hair. Shippo smiled and nodded.

< br> Inuyasha and Rin had walked up two flights of stairs and were now walking down the longest hall way in history. Not liking the silence Inuyasha spoke. “Why did you refer to me as ‘Lord’?”

“Are you not the son of Lord InuTashio nor the brother of Lord Sesshomaru?” She asked.

“Yes but that does not make me a ‘Lord’.” He replied

“That’s not what Lord Sesshomaru told me.” She said stopping in front of a huge brown wooden door.

Inuyasha looked at her with a highly confused look before his brothers voice called him. “Come in Inuyasha.” Rin bowed and began to walk back down the hall. Inuyasha pushed open the door, walked in and closed it behind him.

Inuyasha sniffed the air and noticed a scent he hadn’t before “What’s that mangy wolf doing here?” He growled.

“Have a seat.” Sesshomaru’s cold voice cut through his growl. Once Inuyasha was sitting in the seat next to Koga, Sesshomaru began again. “We are all here because we have one thing in common.”

“You like Kagome to?” Inuyasha asked.

“No mutt he meant Naraku.”

“Feh.”

Sesshomaru cleared his throat and continued. “As we all know mating season starts in about a month or so...and seeing as we all plan to take a mate…I think we all agree that this threat must be taken care of.” They both nodded in agreement. “That is why I advise that we join forces for the time being.”

“Strength in numbers.” Koga said.

Inuyasha just nodded yes. “Then it’s settled the three of our clans will join forces…if your clan is attack then we are all attack…understood?” They nodded. “Meeting adjourn.”

Koga was the first to stand. “See ya mutt…and I hope she recovers.”

Inuyasha release a quick growl but let it died down when he heard the last part of his sentence, his eyes fell to the floor “Thanks.”

Koga gave a slight bow and left the room. Noticing that Inuyasha had not left Sesshomaru raised an eyebrow “Is there a reason as to why you are still here?”

“‘Lord’?” Inuyasha asked.

“Do you not like the title otouto?”

“Does it fit me?”

“I would not have given it to you if it did not.”

“Why have you given it to me?”

Sesshomaru turned and faced the window. “You have always had this title otouto, it is simply, that you should start using it.” Inuyasha was silent. “You may leave.”

Inuyasha stood and left the room.

Inuyasha slowly walked down the hall to Kagome’s room in deep thought. “Lord Inuyasha?” A servant called walking toward him.

Inuyasha arch an eyebrow ‘Either word spreads fast or I was the last to know.’ “Hai?”

“Lord Sesshomaru has sent me to attend to your every need.”

“I am not in need of your services at this moment…” He trailed off awaiting her name.

“Yuki.”

“Yuki, I will send for you if I need you.”

“I will not be far my lord.” She bowed and walked off.

“Inuyasha…” Miroku said stopping his prayers.

“Don’t mind me, continue.”

“I just finished.” Miroku said. “So you’re a lord now?”

“According to Sesshomaru I always was.”

“Well you are second in line for the thrown.”

“Feh… the life I live now is hard enough I can’t imagine being Lord of the Western Lands.”

A cough interrupted his perverted sentence. They turned around and spotted Sango. “Did I interrupt?” She asked. She wasn’t wearing her regular kimono, instead she had on a blue furisode with pink and white flowers.

“Wow, lady Sango you look lovely.” Miroku said.

She blushed “..Thanks.”

“Where are you off to?” Miroku asked.

“No where special just for a walk.”

“Would you mind if I accompanied you?” He asked.

“As long as you do nothing perverted.” She said glaring at him.

“Have I ever told you how beautiful you look when your mad.”

She blushes but not from the complement. “Monk?!” She warned but Miroku just smiled. She balled her fist and went to hit him but was stopped.

“Could you to take that somewhere else?” Inuyasha asked nicely. Sango just growled and walked out of the room, Miroku gave a perverted grin and followed. “He’ll never learn.” Inuyasha eyes then turned and smiled at the scene before him. Shippo laid in a ball on Kagome’s stomach.

‘Picture perfect huh?’ His human side said.

‘He‘s just going to end up fucking it up.’ His demon side said.

‘Why do you always have to be so negative?’

‘I’m just being honest.’

‘Both of you shut up.’ Inuyasha sat down in the chair next to the bed and took her hand in his, he stared out the window watching the clouds slowly roll by. 'Please come back to me.'
