After Inuyasha filled her in on everything that happened while she was unconscious, Shippo came running in.

“Oka-san?” He called jumping into her arms.

“I’ll leave you two to talk…I’ve be right back.” Inuyasha said kissing her on the forehead. He then retreated out the door.

“I’ll go get Sango and Miroku.” Shippo said getting up to go.

“No.” Kagome said.

Shippo stopped. “Why not?”

“Because I want to surprise them at dinner.” Kagome said. “So tell me what have you been up to for three weeks?” She asked as he jumped back into her arms.

“Yuki?” Inuyasha called walking into the kitchen.

“Hai mi lord?” She replied.

“Come with me.” He instructed feeling the presence of Sesshomaru. She nodded and followed him, they walked down the hallway with haste. “I need clothing…”

“Done.” Yuki replied. Inuyasha raised and eyebrow “Lord Sesshomaru informed me of the dinner this evening…and asked me to find you and your friends suitable attire.”

Inuyasha nodded “By friends you mean?”

“Lady Sango, Miroku and Shippo.”

“Ah see…I need one more suitable attire.”

“For whom?”

“Lady Kagome.”

“She has awaken?”

“Yes…but tell no one of this.”

“But what if mi Lord Sesshomaru asks?”

“Tell him to ask me.”

“Hai mi lord.” She replied walking back down the hall.

“Bring it to her room.” He said stopping her in her tracks.

“Hai mi lord.” And with that she was off.

Inuyasha walked back down the hall and into the kitchen where he found Sesshomaru. “Were you going to tell me of this dinner?” He asked in the same cold tone of Sesshomaru’s voice.

Sesshomaru raised a questionable eyebrow but answered coldly “Does it matter you know now.”

“Who all will be attending?” Inuyasha asked sound to much like Sesshomaru.

“You, Kouga, Ayame, Rin, your friends, the generals of our armies and their mates…and myself…nothing big…just a simple dinner then we start some planning of our attack against Naraku.”

“When is dinner?”

“Thirty minutes I’d go get dressed…I’m sure our guess should be arriving soon.” Inuyasha nodded and retreated to his room. “Jaken, go retrieve the monk and the slayer from their walk.” Sesshomaru said.

“Hai mi lord.” Jaken replied and was off to find the two.

Inuyasha stood in the doorway of Kagome’s room watching her and Shippo talk and laugh. He cleared his throat and stepped into the room. “Sorry to interrupt.”

“Just catching up and having fun.” Kagome replied with a her warm smile.

Inuyasha smiled back.

“Mi Lord?” Yuki called walking into the room and bowing.

“We’ll leave you to get dressed…come Shippo.” Shippo leapt out of her arms and onto Inuyasha shoulder. “We’ll be back to pick you and take you to dinner.” Kagome nodded and the two walked out the door.

Kagome looked over at the servant “May I ask you a question..?”

“Yuki…” She replied setting the dress on the bed.

“Yuki...why did you call him lord?”

“From what I understand he is the second son of Lord InuTashio and the half-brother of Lord Sesshomaru…these facts alone make him a lord…but I not only call him lord out of respect but also mi lord Sesshomaru has told us that he must be called so.” Yuki replied. After a few seconds of silence she continued “Would you like to get wash up my lady?” She asked. Kagome quickly nodded, she pulled a clean pair of under clothes from her bag and headed for the bathroom.

A few minutes later Kagome walked out of the bathroom in a silk robe. She gave a slight nod to Yuki, signaling that she was ready to change, she nodded back and signaled for her to hold out her arms. Kagome raised an eyebrow. “On occasions such as this, I am to dress the female guess.”

“I can dress myself.” Kagome replied.

“I ask simply that you allow me to do my job.”

Kagome nodded and held out her arms.

“Chi chi, I can’t get it.” Shippo cried trying helplessly to get his haori on.

“Come here.” Inuyasha replied. Shippo hop over to him, he took the haori and slip it on him. “Cross the right side over the body and then over lap it with the left. Okay…think you can remember that?” Shippo nodded and watch Inuyasha carefully as he tied the obi. “You ready?” Shippo nodded, Inuyasha picked up the Tetsusaiga and put it in his obi. “Come on.” He lead Shippo out into the hall and to Kagome’s room. “Go on.” He said.

Shippo smiled and gently knocked on the door. “Coming.” Kagome called.

“You may open your eyes.” Yuki said. Kagome did and almost gasp at her features. The red eye shadow brought out the brown in her eyes, the red cherry lip gloss, she had found hidden deep in her bag, made her lips look fuller and the kimono showed her figure nicely.

“Thank you.” Kagome said hugging her.

“My pleasure.” She replied returning the hug. Kagome gently pulled away, following Yuki to the door, she took a deep breathe and signaled for her to open it.

The door slowly opened, Shippo stepped back to Inuyasha sighed. Both of their jaws dropped at the sight before them.

She wore an all black silk kimono with tons of embroidered red dragons & sakura trees, her sleeves reached her ankles and a white obi held it closed. Her hair was up in a tightly secured bun held up by a ribbon, with the same material and embroidering as her kimono, a few stubborn strains fell in her face and hanging from sterling silver from each of her ears were black pearls.

As the two looked her over, she looked them over.

Inuyasha wore an all red silk hakama, and haori with an embroidered black dragon, that wrapped around a black sakura tree from the bottom hem, up and over the right shoulder where it’s headed rested, a matching obi held it closed. His sleeves fell a little after his wrist and his hair, which took for every to brush in his opinion, was down.

Shippo wore red hakama, with a small cut out for his tail and a white haori, with an embroidered red dragon on the back. His hair was still in it’s usual ponytail, except it was now being held up by a white ribbon.

“You look great Kagome.”Shippo squealed.

“Thank you Shippo, you look very handsome.” She replied with a genuine smile. Shippo looked away and blushed.

“You look absolutely beautiful.” Inuyasha said then mentally kick himself for not biting his tongue, averting her eyes.

“Thank you Inuyasha….you look gorgeous.” She replied with an even bright smile and light blush.

“Thank you.” He replied trying to hide his blush. “Shall we?” He asked holding out his arm.

She blushed even more and took his arm, Shippo walked a little ways ahead of them with a huge smile on his face. “Long way or short way?” Inuyasha asked stopping at the stairs.

“The safest.” Kagome said with a stern glare.

“Guess it’s the short way then.” Inuyasha said picking her up bridal style. “Jump on Shippo.“ he called. Shippo did as he was told. “Hold on tight.“ He suggested to both of them, then jumped over the rail.

Sesshomaru stood in the center of the room, talking to Koga, his eyes stealing glances at the door. ‘Where the hell is he?’ he thought. He wore a black silk hakama and haori, with a gold embroidered dragon, it tail wrapped around his wait the up his body where it’s head rested on his right it was tied closed with a matching obi. His hair was down and his swords were at his right side. Standing on the left side of him was Rin, she wore an all black silk kimono with tons of embroidered gold dragons & sakura trees, her sleeves reached her ankles and a white obi held it closed. Her hair was up in a tightly secured bun held up by a matching ribbon, a single stubborn strain lay in her face and hanging from her ears were black agate and gold earrings.

“So where is the mutt?” Koga asked looking around, his long black hair was brushed and put into it’s usually high ponytail. He wore his normal clothing the only difference was that it was fresh fur and brain new armor. This was the same for Ayame, the only thing different on her was that where her pigtails usually were, were now two buns.

The double doors slowly opened and everyone stood shocked. Sesshomaru and Koga stopped their conversation as did Rin and Ayame. Rin and Ayame let out a gasp, Koga’s jaw drop and he almost began drooling, and a not so visible smirk appeared on Sesshomaru’s face. Kagome arched an eyebrow, Shippo just slowly back up to the safety of Kagome’s leg and Inuyasha just glanced around the room noting who was there. He spotted Sesshomaru and began leading Kagome over to him. As they passed through the crowd, everyone began bowing.

“Glad you could make otouto.” Sesshomaru said when they finally reach him. “Lady Kagome, it’s lovely to see you up and well.”

Kagome blushed slightly “Thank you, it is good to be up and well.” She said with a smile.

“Ka-go-me.” Koga said looking her over. “You look amazing.”

“Thank Koga.” She replied blushing even more.

“Kagome?” Sango called out. Kagome turned around and was trapped in a bear hug from Sango.

“Hello Sango.” Kagome said as best as she could.

“Sango I don’t think she can breathe.” Shippo said.

“Sorry.” Sango apologize releasing her.

“Lady Kagome…it’s glorious to see you well.” Miroku said standing next to her.

“Touch her and your dead Monk.” Inuyasha said. Miroku gave an innocent smile and tried to pull his hand back from Sango and Kagome bottoms but couldn’t.

“HENTAI!” Kagome and Sango yelled in unison, before giving Miroku a slap of a life time.

“He’ll never learn.” Koga and Ayame said.

“Mi lord?” A servant with dark brown hair called standing in front of the dinning room door.

“Thank you Suki.” Sesshomaru responded. “Now if you’ll all follow me.” Sesshomaru announced.

Everyone gathered near him, he gave a signaled and the dinning room doors opened. “Inuyasha you and your people will sit at my right side.” Inuyasha nodded and they all walked into the dinning room and took their seats. Sesshomaru sat at the head of the table, on his right side sat Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo, Sango and Miroku. To his left sat Rin, Koga and Ayame. Everyone else was seated in highest to lowest rank. Sesshomaru glanced around the table, then nodded to Suki, who then opened the doors and a dozen or so servants walked in holding large trays on their shoulders.

They set the trays on the table in front of the guess and their lord “Present.” Suki called out. The tray covers were lifted revealing a mouth watering dinner. Mouths began to water, but no one touched the food. They all knew the rule it was the same in any clan or pack, no one takes a bite unless told to.

Sesshomaru glanced around the room “You may consume your fill.” he said. Everyone bowed their heads and began eating. About an hour an a half, dinner was finished and the servants had come and taken away the plates. Clearing his throat Sesshomaru began “This Sesshomaru has invited you all here to come up with a plan to defeat Naraku. If any suggestion now is the time to speak.”

“It is obvious that the main fighters will be Lord Inuyasha, Lord Koga and you mi lord…I would just like to know what will the rest of us be doing?”

“Providing help when needed.” Sesshomaru replied.

“I’ve got it!” Shippo yelled. Everyone raised an eyebrow at his outburst. “Koga, Inuyasha, Kagome and Lord Sesshomaru will be the main fighters, Miroku can do the barrier, Ayame, Rin, Sango and the army can be reinforcements.” Shippo continued but go no replies. “When Inuyasha uses back lash wave, Lord Sesshomaru can use dragon thunder and Kagome can use her arrow…He won’t know what hit him.”

“Hmm…” Sesshomaru said thinking the runts plan over. “Good plan but it will not work.”

“What why not?” Shippo asked shocked.

“Lady Kagome and Rin will not be in this fight.”

“What?” Kagome and Rin questioned in unison.

“Neither of you will be in this fight…Rin is simply to young and the miko has no training.”

“You can’t be serious…mi lord I’m not a little kid anymore…I will do as I please…I will fight in this battle.” She replied with fire in her eyes.

“You will do as I say and stay in the safety of the castle…end of discussion.” He replied his voice ice cold and calm. “You are dismissed.” He added. Rin’s breathing became ragged as she pushed back tears and ran from the table.

The room stayed quiet it was Kagome who broke the silence. “Train me.” Sesshomaru as well as everyone else, eyes fell upon the miko. “You say I don’t have training…so train me.”

“No, training isn’t the only reason you will not be in this battle…but I’ll leave that for my brother to tell.”

Inuyasha let out a growl and averted her eyes. “What is he talking about?” Kagome asked. Inuyasha mumbled something and glared at Sesshomaru. “Inuyasha answer me.”

“I think it’s best if you help Miroku with the barrier.” Inuyasha replied.

Her jaw dropped “You can’t be serious.” He didn’t replied.

Sesshomaru wore a small smirk “I believe this dinner and this meeting is over…you are all dismissed.” He said.

Inuyasha got up and left for one of Sesshomaru’s many gardens. Kagome brow frowned and she followed him. Miroku and Sango thanked Sesshomaru and went back to their rooms. Koga, Ayame and the rest of them also thanked him and left. Once everyone had left Sesshomaru stood, walked over to the window and watched his brother and the miko. A smirk appeared on his face ‘Poor otouto, how on earth are you going to explain yourself?’
