Kagome tossed an turned in her sleep unable to forget the recent memories and pain that she had witnessed.
I’m such a fool thought Kagome What was I thinking? Of course Sesshomaru doesn’t care about me, I just broke my heart once again and now I have to face him everyday till Rin is completely better!
Kagome kept arguing with herself until she decided it was time to check up on Rin.
Changing out of her nightgown she slipped into a white mid-thigh kimono with blue petals on it. As she tied the strings of the halter part of her kimono and the seperate sleeves she kept thinking of Sesshomaru.
Maybe he has some kind of explanation he did tell me he hated her…. she thought
Suddenly she shrieked as a bright light burst into the room.
“Lady Kagome!!!!!,” came two familiar voices
“Akio and Mi-Ko,” asked Kagome “What in hell are you trying to do kill me?!”
“Oh no Lady Kagome not at all!,” exclaimed Akio
“We came to give you something!,…….well two somethings!,” added Mi-Ko
“Really?,” she asked curious “What are they?”
“This is the first item,” said Akio producing a beautiful silk gown, “It was your mothers my lady she requested before she died that it be given to you when you became of age,”
“Oh my gosh,” breathed Kagome “It’s beautiful!,”
Going over Kagome took the dress and unfolded it to see it and it truly was beautiful.
It was the colour of the sunset, oranges, reds and yellows. It had two straps starting at the front and crisscrossing at the back with a ruby right on the spot where the two straps met. The front also had a ruby inbetween where her two breasts were supposed to be . The dress was knee length. It had a red belt with yellow and orange jewels on it.
Looking at it Kagome thought it would be considerably tight on her curves if she wore it.
It doesn’t matter, she thought, Its my mothers gift to me and I shall wear it with pride
“And the second item?” she asked finally tearing her gaze away from the dress, folding it and putting it away for safe keeping.
“This!,” Ki-Ko said excitedly, he went a showed Kagome an adorable white baby panther with a black crecent moon on its forehead.
“Soooooooooooo cute!!!!!,” she squealed like a little child
Both youkai chuckled
“Her name is Tuki,” Akio said
“And she’s your guardian spirit she transforms into a wild beast when you are in battle,” Mi-Ko explained
Just like Kirara thought Kagome
“May I hold her?,” she asked
“Of course my lady she is yours!,” exclaimed Akio handing the little panther to Kagome
Instantly the panther knew who she was and snuggled up to her meowing
“awwwwwwww,” Kagome said
“Thankyou so much for this!,” She said “Soon you will be able to tell the soliders and rest of the servants I am back okay?”
“Of course my lady,” they said before leaving
“Well,” Kagome thought staring down at the little panther she held “Let’s go visit Rin shall we?,” she asked it
Tuki nodded
Kagome walked over to Rins room and knocked quietly, “Rin sweetie?,”
She hearding coughing. Quickly she went in to see a very sick looking Rin.
“Oh dear Rin!,” she said
“Kagome-sama good morning!,” the little girl managed out between coughs
Her little eyes widened when she saw Tuki
“Shes so cute may Rin play with her?,” she asked
“After your feeling bettwer Rin your sick again,” Kagome said frowning as she gave some medicing to Rin from the supplies she kept there.
“Awwwwww,”the little girl said with a yawn
“Now go to sleep, I’ll be back to check up on you.”
After making sure Rin was okay, she headed down to the kitchen.
I really don’t want to see Sesshomaru or Asura after last night….she thought wearily
“Good morning Sashi!,” Kagome said upon seeing the elderly chef
Sashi turned around and gave Kagome a warm-hearted smile
“Kagome dear,” she said “How are you today?”
“Good Sashi!,” replied the girl
Sashi eyes feel on Tuki
“What an adorable little panther,” she commented petting the panther, Tuki purred
“Thankyou,” Kagome aid “Sashi I was wondering if I could get some food in a basket for me and Sashi if it’s not to much trouble.”
“Nothings to much trouble if you ask it dear,” Sashi asid grabbing a basket and placing various breads,fruits and meats
Handing the basket to Kagome with a smile she said
“You are always welcomed in my kitchen Kagome,”
“Thankyou Sashi!,” Kagome asid hugging the elderly chef
Walking with the basket slung on one arm and Tuki on her shoulder Kagome went walking until she found a huge sakura blossom tree and sat under it. Resting she pulled out the book she grabbed before coming out and went on reading, eating and feeding Tuki who was chasing butterflies.

Sesshomaru woke with a start feeling someone was there, and someone was there.
Asura was looking down at him with a mischievous smile playing her lips.
“Sesshy darling your awake!,” she cooed
“Ahhhhh!,” Sesshomaru said sitting straight up “What the hell are you doing?!”
Asura pouted “Waiting for you of course dummy!,” she said with a giggle
“Yes why are you waiting for me?,” he said regaining his composure
“Well now that I know your feelings for me I’m going to be your intended!,” she said dreamily
“I told you I do not have feelings for you!,” he growled
“Whatever I know your hiding it,” she said turning around and heading out
I need to talk to Kagome he thought to himself
Damn right you do his concionous reminded him
Sesshomaru got dressed and headed to the dining hall only to find Kagome not present.
Wonder where she is….he thought
Suddenly before he could think all three lords had dragged him into his study, dropped him in a chair and were staring at him as if he’d grown as second head.
“What?,” he asked
“What? What? You want to know what is going on?” said Daikoku
“So would we!,” Dosojin roared
“What the hell are you talking about?,” Sesshomaru asked getting mad
“What were talking about?,” Gaki stated “Were talking about how you and Asura have had a secret relationship and how she is your intended!”
I have some explaining to do….he thought
“Sit down,” he told them
20 MINUTES LATER
“OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH,” said all three lords together
“Now you see my problem?,” he asked them
“Yes we do but there is a bright side to all this!,” Dosojin said with a smile
“What is it?,” Sesshomaru asked curiously
“Well now that your stuck with Asura we,,,” he trailed off
“Have a chance with Kagome!,” Said the other two lords
“Your kidding right?,” Sesshomaru said
“Of course not we knew Kagome had feelings for you so we backed off but now that your taken.” Dosojin told him
“You bastards!,” growled Sesshomaru trying his best not to attack the other lords
“Whatever Sesshomaru your loss, this summers solistace ball is to be held here one of us is going to lay claims on her by then,” Gaki said
Sesshomaru watched in anger as the other lords walked away to eat breakfast
I can’t belive it he thought
You better Kagome is like a winning prize and the hunters are out to get her his conscious told him
Not if I get her first he asid to himself and jumped out of the window determined to find Kagome……….

Tuki nodded
Kagome walked over to Rins room and knocked quietly, “Rin sweetie?,”

“After your feeling bettwer Rin your sick again,” Kagome said frowning as she gave some medicing to Rin from the supplies she kept there.
“Awwwwww,”the little girl said with a yawn
“Now go to sleep, I’ll be back to check up on you.”
After making sure Rin was okay, she headed down to the kitchen.
I really don’t want to see Sesshomaru or Asura after last night….she thought wearily
“Good morning Sashi!,” Kagome said upon seeing the elderly chef
