Picking up her scent Sesshomaru followed it until he found her under the big Sakura blossom tree with a little panther in her lap absently stroking it as if deep in thought.
Suddenly her head jerked up and those beautiful blue eyes met his very coldly.
What is he doing here? she thought
Maybe to explain? her conscious told her
Pushing Tuki out of her lap she told the little panther to head off somewhere for a little while.
Sesshomaru came over and sat down next to her leaning against the tree.
“Kagome…..” he started but was cut off
“It’s okay Sesshomaru no need to explain im happy for you,” she said “You really shouldn’t keep you relationship to Asura a secret its not very fair especially to her,”
“It’s no-,” again he was cutoff
“And I think it was wrong that we kissed like we did it was a mistake that shouldn’t have happened and won’t,” she said finishing off and atanding up
But Sesshomaru caught her arm, and pulled her down to him, sitting her on his lap and snaked his arms going around her waist tightly holding on
“Sesshomaru what are you doing?,” she asked struggling to get out of his grip but to no avail
“I’m going to make you listen to me you hear?,” he told her “please…”
She huffed and settled down trying not to be reminded of how good it felt to be in his arms
This is wrong……… she thought
“Fine I’m listening,” she told him
“Good,” he started “Me and Asura aren’t a couple for one as I told you she likes me not the other way around. That night when you saw Asura and me kissing it wasn’t what you thought, she came into my room and kissed me, and I thought it was you when I kissed back,” he said
He was glad Kagome was facing away from him
“ And I tried to explain that but she wouldn’t let me and then she pulled me into another kiss but she means nothing to me………” he sighed “What I’m trying to say Kagome is…I-I love you,” he blurted out
He held his breath at her response
Wait did he say he loves me? she thought
Omg he did! her conscious yelled
Slowly turning around so she was facing him she smiled
“I love you to,” she said softly before kissing him
See what did I tell you? his conscious said
He ignored it and pulled Kagome to him as they continued to kiss and add fire to and already heated and passionate moment.
Kagome wrapped her arms around his neck letting her fingers drift in his soft silky hair, all the while letting him take dominace as they kissed.
He slowly pushed her down onto the soft grass and broke the kiss and started at her neck nuzzling it and kissing.
Kagome felt lost at his touch
“Sesshomaru……,” she breathed
No reply, he was to busy suckling the skin of her neck and taking in everything about her, her smell, her taste, and her touch
“We can’t do this….” she murmered trying her best to explain
“And why not?” he whispered
“Because for one were in a ferest a-,” she was cutoff as their lips met
They tongues danced
Kagome forgot the meaning of breath when his hand went to squeeze her thigh
She moaned
Just as Sesshomaru was about to untie the strings to her halter he was interrupted by a familiar toad like voice calling out to him.
He groaned in frusturation, looking down at Kagome panting heavily, blue eyes clouded he tried to forget the loss of what might of happened. He got off of her letting her get up and search for Tuki so they could get back to the manor.
You should have killed that insolent toad when you had the chance, His youkai told him
You really are in odd situations, surely you weren’t going to DO IT there were you?, his conscious asked
He didn’t reply
Wow Sesshomaru you want her bad
Shut up he told it
“M’lord!,” Jaken said panting “Thank goodness I found you everyone was worried,!Oh and the planners for the Summer Solistace Ball are awaiting your command to being the preperations”
“Hn,” was his reply “Jaken go back to the manor I shall join you soon.”
“Yes milord,” Jaken said confused at smelling his lord aroused It’s not mating season he thought to himself
Turning to leave he was stopped
“Jaken,” Sesshomaru said remembering Kagomes request
“Go to Inuyasha and tell him that Kagome will be staying a bit longer and bring that little kitsune with you Kagome wants to see him.”
“Yes milord,” Jaken said before leaving
“What was that about?” Kagome asked Tuki in her arms and the empty basket on the crook of her elbow and starting to walk to the manor Sesshomaru next to her instantly
“The Summer Solistace Ball,” he replied
“The what?” she asked curiously
He loved it when she got that look
“Its when the wealthy demons and lords and ladys come in for appreciation for summer and the gift of life that sort,” he explained
“Ohhhhhhhhhhh,” she said in understanding
“And,” he said turning to face her “I expect you to be there,”
She smiled at him making his heart soar
“Of course,” she said thinking of her mothers dress “I have the perfect dress to,”
They walked back to the manor in pleasant silence.
