Sesshomaru and Inuyasha followed Azrael to a steep mountain path. There high a top the mountain was a cave where Rin and Shippo's screams could be heard.

"Rin." Sesshomaru said underneath his breath as he flew up the mountain side before anyone could even make it to the path.

"Sesshomaru wait! You don't know what your getting yourself into." Azreal exclaimed.

"Heh, don't worry about him Azrael. He's strong, not as strong as me, but he can take care of himself." Inuyasha said as he ran in front of everyone to catch up to Sesshomaru. By this time Inuyasha had given Azrael back his cloak and was once again in his normal clothing.

When Inuyasha had almost reached the entrance Sesshomaru was sent flying outside of the cave by some unseen force.

"W-what was that?" Inuyasha said as he stopped quickly to see what had sent his brother hurling.

"Get out of here!" the demon yelled. Inuyasha saw him standing in the middle of the cave holding Shippo ( still in human form) in one hand and Rin in the other.

"Inuyasha help!" Shippo pleaded.

"Lord Sesshomaru." Rin yelled seeing Sesshomaru jump up and land next to Inuyasha at the mouth of the cave.

"What happened to you?" Inuyasha asked.

"There's some kind of barrier around him. It was stronger than I expected." Sesshomaru answered never once taking his eye's off of the demon.

"Heh, a barrier eh. That's no problem for me." Inuyasha exclaimed as his sword began to glow red. "I'll just break the barrier and then we'll kill him and free that girl and Shippo."

"You idiot you could them both if you attempt to break the barrier with your wind scar." Sesshomaru said as he glared at Inuyasha for even suggesting it.

"He's right Inuyasha. A succubus's shield is differnet from normal barriers. Unlike the bat demon's where your attack just broke the barrier the succubus's barrier is a special type. Attacks will be instantly dispersed or he can change the direction of the attack to where ever he desires. So if you use any attacks on the barrier it will end up hitting Shippo and the girl." Azrael explained.

"Geez, so now what are we going to do?" Inuyasha complained.

"Kagome, what about your sacred arrow?" Sango offered.

"That might work. But what if he makes it hit Shippo? It wouldn't affect Rin to badly. Besides Sesshomaru could just heal her." Kagome said as she looked towards Sesshomaru. Evidently he had heard her for he was glaring at her evilly.

"Don't even think about it." Sesshomaru said. "We'll just have to find another way around this stupid barrier."

"Let me try one of my sutra's." Miroku said as he pulled out some sutra from his robe's. Miroku blesed them quickly and tossed them at the barrier. When they hit the barrier they were instantly vaporized.

"Oh well." Miroku said crestfallen that he wasn't able to help.

"Heh, well now that you see that your powerless to stop me I'll enjoy feasting on your friends here." the succubus said as his hands began to glow.

"Aaaah" Shippo and Rin screamed in unison.

"No!" Inuyasha yelled as he slashed at the barrier with his sword. His attacks bounced off for he was afraid to use anything to powerful for fear of hurting Shippo and Rin. Even Sesshomaru tried to attack the barrier, but his attacks too were in vain.

"Mmmm, all this life force is soo good. Ha ha, I'll be invicible after this." the succubus said as his withered form began to be revived again.

"Shippo!" Kagome yelled.

"Too late, in a matter of minute's they'll be nothing but bones." the succubus said.

"Not if I can help it!" a voice excalimed. Suddenly fire shot out from the glowing form's of Shippo and Rin. The huge amount of fire sent the demon flying backwards.

"W-what was that? You mean he's a demon!" the demon exclaimed. As the light began to fade there standing in front of them was a man wearing short's that were way too small, and his shirt looked ripped. His long brown hair came ot mid back, his fluffy tail almost touched the ground, and fire surrounded his body.

"SHIPPO?" everyone exclaimed, even Sesshmoru looked shocked at what could only be Shippo standing in front of him.

"Yeah it's me and in all honesty I feel great!" Shippo said as he flexed his muscles. He then knelt down and helped up Rin who had also aged. Her once logn Kimono now only came to about mid-thigh, her hair was longer, her body was more 'matured' and 'perky', but it was definetly Rin. She and Shippo were now around Miroku's, Sango's, and Kagome's age.

"Rin..."Sesshomaru exlaimed, everyone couldn't help but laugh at Sesshomaru's reaction. The normally composed and emotionless Sesshomaru was wide eyed and was doing all he could to stop his chin from hitting the floor.

"Lord Sesshomaru." Rin exlaimed as she tried to run towards him but the barrier prohibited her.

"Hmm the barrier's still active." Sesshomaru said as he tested it. His hand was shocked by a poweful force of demonic energy.

"The only way I guess is to destroy the one creating the barrier, but we can't get in." Inuyasha said.

"Don't worry with me and Shippo here it won't take us long." Azrael said suddenly from behind the succubus.

"W-what how did you get in here. Master why would you side with them?"

"That's my little secret. Blades of Blood!" Azrael exclaimed as he swiped his sword which sent blades of blood at the succubus.

"Fool don't think that little attack could hurt me." teh succubus boasted as he deflected the attack with ease one or two however caught him in the chest coating the walls and floor in his blood.

"Heh, oh I knew it wouldn't. But that's why I have a back up plan. Shippo now!" Azrael exclaimed.

"Right!" Shippo said. "Fox Fire!" With that Shippo launched a powerful fire ball at the succubus.

"What?" the succubus exclaimed as he turned around only to be blasted back towards Azrael by the attack.

"Now your mine!" Azrael said as he stuck his sword in the ground. Azrael lunged forwards towards the flying form of the succubus. Azrael then backhanded the succubus into the air. Azrael followed the succubus into the air and quickly kneed him in the back. Azrael raised both his hands into the air and quickly brought them down upon the succubus's head. With a loud 'crash' the succubus's fell to the floor.

"Shippo channel your energy and use the Flame of the Fire Lord!" Azrael yelled seeing that the succubus was already getting back up.

"W-what's that?" Shippo asked the fear in his voice evident.

"Oh no. Even though Shippo looks much older he still has the mind of a kid." Kagome announced.

"Look Shippo I know your scared, but listen to me. Place your hands together and charge your energy. I know what happened to your father, he was a great demon, think of him. This attack is his signature move that only direct descendents of his can use. Succubus's are extremely vulnerable to fire Shippo so it's up to you. Now do it!" Azrael exclaimed as the succubus got back up and charged at Shippo.

Shippo closed his eyes and placed his hand's together. His whole body began to glow with blue light and waves of demonic energy flew from his body.

"Now I'll just finish you off right here and now." the succubus exclaimed as he charged at Shippo.

"Oh no you don't!" Azrael said as he grabbed his sword from the ground and launched it hilt first at the demon. The hilt connected with the back of his head as he flipped from teh force of the collsion.

"Ah FUCK!" the demon yelled as he looked up at Shippo. Suddenly Shippo opened his eyes.

"Look at his eyes!" Sango exclaimed. Shippo's eyes glowed with blue power. Suddenly his demonic energy began to take form of a giant fox behind him. The energy wrapped around both his hands as he held them out in front of him.

"Flame of the Fire Lord!" Shippo exclaimed. Suddenly a huge amount of blue ehtereal fire erupted from his hands.

"NO!" was all the succubus could get out before he was instantly cremated by the flames.

The barrier was lowered and Shippo's demonic energy receded.

"Lord Sesshomaru!" Rin cried happily as she hugged him. Sesshomaru still had a weird expression on his face as he looked at the 'matured' Rin.

"Shippo are you okay?" Kagome asked.

"Yeah what happened to you?" Miroku asked.

"I'm not sure exactly. I felt myself getting weaker and weaker, then suddenly I felt a lot stronger. Then my fox fire erupted from my body." Shippo said.

"Here Shippo put on these." Inuyasha said handing Shippo a blue hakama and a long sleeve blue iado and a blue haori.

"Thanks Inuyasha." Shippo said as he quickly threw the new clothe's on."Where'd you find them?"

"I grabbed them off of one of the bodies laying around here."

"What!"

"Don't worry, it's not like they were using it. Hey Shippo looks like you may actually be of some use now that your older."

"I'm still not quite sure about what happened." Kagome said still confused.

"Yes, even I'd like to know. I've never encountered a succubus before, I've only heard rumors about them." Sesshomaru said as him and Rin approached the others. They noticed that Sesshomaru let Rin continue to hold onto his arm tightly.

"I can explain." Azrael said as he hid something with in the interior of his cloak. "You see a succubus drains the life force of his victim's causing them to age rapidly. When he drained Shippo's life force it caused him to age, but since he's a demon the older he gets the stronger his demonic powers to increase rapidly, which in turn caused his fox fire apparation to break the demon's hold on them."

"Hmm, you sure seem to know a lot about this breed of demon." Sesshomaru said.

"Yes, I've spent a lot of time with the bat demon's so I've gained a vast amount of knoweledge of their culture, powers, and races."

"Hmm. Shippo is it? I guess I owe you some thanks for protecting Rin. You have my gratitude." Sesshomaru said coldy. Even though he said it you could tell he didn't mean it. "That's another thing I've been meaning to ask you...just how did you make it through the barrier." It wasn't a question at all it was more like a demand.

"Very simply. The moment that Shippo blasted the demon back the barrier faltered. I would've thought that surely you yourself would have noticed it." Azrael said coldy, yet calmly as he stared Sesshomaru in the face.

"Actually I have a question Azrael. I heard the demon call you master. What was that all about?" Kagome asked.

"I actually don't have an answer for that one." Azrael said with a small laugh. " I guess he was delirous or just mistaken who knows."

"Sesshomaru...your going to the Valley of Death to find Naraku aren't you." Inuyasha said without looking at Sesshomaru.

"I see, you've discovered his whereabout's. I was following Naraku but was sidetracked by this pathetic excuse for a demon. Now that I know where he is I will be on my way. Come Rin." Sesshomaru said as he was about to walk away.

"Wait my Lord. Why don't we join up with Inuyasha?" Rin asked in a timid voice afraid to face her Lord's wrath.

Sesshomaru turned around slowly and looked at Rin.

" Rin you know how I feel about that."

"But why not. You and him our brother's. You shouldn't hate eachother, besides your the most powerful person ever Lord Sesshomaru, and Inuyasha is really strong too. Together you will easily be able to defeat Naraku." Rin said.

"As much as I hate to admit it, but she's right Sesshomaru. When we encountered Naraku's puppet it was stronger than the real Naraku when me and you fought him the first time. That means that Naraku is atleast twenty times stronger than we fought him last."

"Heh, I would expect that from someone as weak as yourself. Even if Naraku is as strong as you make him out to be he will still be no match for me."

"Listen Sesshomaru, we both know that Naraku will use those dear to use to weaken us. You've already seen that first hand. You won't be able to protect Rin while your fighting him, especially now that he can summon the dead."

"Summon the dead. Hmm, that would explain why those demon's I fought earlier wouldn't die. So Naraku has learned Necromancy."

"Yes he has. And atleast with us we'd stand a better chance against him. Also, that way we'll have more people to watch out for her." Inuyasha said. No one could believe that Inuyasha of all people was suggesting this.

*As hard as it is to believe maybe Inuyasha's grown up a little bit after all.* Kagome thought silently.

"Please Lord Sesshomaru." Rin begged.

"Normally I'd say no to this ridiculous idea. But for once I must agree with you Inuyasha."

"WHAT!" everyone exclaimed at once.

"Heh, we might as well. Besides, I'd rather be able to keep an eye on you so that you don't foil my attempts at killing Naraku again." Sesshomaru said.

"Fine then it's settled. We'll work together to get rid of Naraku!" Inuyasha exclaimed as they all looked towards the exit of the cave. Wondering what they would encounter next.
