Naraku launched an attack at the battle weary group. In an instant everyone scattered. Sesshomaru grabbed Rin, Inuyasha grabbed Kagome, Azrael launched himself high into the air, the other's scattered in all directions as the attack destroyed the ground all around them.

"How can we defeat him now?" Sango asked Azrael as he hovered next to Kirara in the air.

"We must extract the Shikon No Tama from him. The two swords are increasing his power slightly, but the Shikon No Tama is not only increasing his power, but the two swords powers also." Azrael said gravely. Inuyasha was thrown backwards by a powerful attack made by Naraku. Naraku launched himself at the fallen Inuyasha but Sesshomaru kicked him in the ribs and detoured his attack. When Naraku turned his attention to Sesshomaru, Shippo launched a Fox Fire attack at him from behind. Shippo's attack didn't even effect Naraku, who simply shrugged it off. Koga and Ayame launched a double attack on Naraku, but he deflected the attack with ease. Bankotsu likewise attempted an attack but before he could get close enough Naraku held up his hand and Bankotsu stopped.

"I wouldn't do that." Naraku said evilly as he starred at Bankotsu.

"Why not! I don't care if I die!" Bankotsu said as he charged at Naraku.

"Don't you get it, I'm the reason your still alive. In case you haven't noticed the Shikon No Tama's complete. So how are you still alive if there's no jewel shard embedded in you? That's because I keep you alive." Naraku gloated as Bankotsu stopped in shock. He didn't know when Naraku extracted his shard, but now that he knew the truth he had a choice. Fight and die, serve Naraku and live....

"I wouldn't be much of a leader...if I served you and my men were all dead." Bankotsu said with disgust as he clenched his fist. "Die Naraku!" Bankotsu charged up his Banryuu as he launched a powerful lightning attack at Naraku. Before the attack hit Naraku, Naraku waved his hand and Bankotsu dispersed into nothingness.

"No, Banktosu!" Inuyasha yelled. "Dammit, I may not have liked him...but he truly was a warrior." Inuyasha said as he clenched his fist tightly. " I'm going to make you pay for that."

"Come now mutt, it will soon be your time to die." Naraku said as he then gazed at Kagome and Kikyo. "But first the two miko's."

Naraku suddenly appeared next to Kikyo and Kagome as he went to stab Kagome in the chest with his talons.

"Kagome!" Everyone cried in unison. Naraku's talon's struck flesh as blood poured onto the ground.

"NO!" Kagome yelled as she looked at the person Naraku had stabbed.

"I-I'm sorry Kagome..."Shippo said weakly as blood appeared on the edge of his mouth. Naraku looked at disgust at the demon he had stabbed. With a flick of his wrist he launched the body of Shippo away from him, spraying his blood over Kagome and Kikyo.

"You bastard..." Inuyasha said.

"Shippo." Kagome cried as she looked at his mangled body. Naraku went for another attack but Sango's Hiraikotsu caught him in the chest. Naraku held onto her weapon as he starred at her, Miroku, and Kirara. "Heh, so you dare defy me. Did you forget that it is I who control your brother's life." Naraku said. Suddenly his body reshapped as her brother's face appeared in front of Naraku's chest.

"Kohaku!" Sango cried. "You monster you absorbed him!"

"Yes, it was as insurance against you. But now I have no need for him." Naraku laughed as he pulled Kohaku out from him. He held Kohaku by the throat choking him slowly. Kohaku's eyes began to water as he looked at Sango.

"Sister, please help me!" Kohaku pleaded. Sango was stunned by what he said.

"Oh yes, did I mention I released him from my spell. He has his full memory back." Naraku sneered waiting for Sango to take the bait.

"You monster!" Sango yelled as her and Kirara dove towards him. Miroku tried to stop her, but as they near the ground Naraku launched a whip like tentacle at Miroku, knocking him off Kirara. When Sango was close enough to Naraku, Naraku threw Kohaku at her. Sango caught Kohaku as she checked to ensure he was okay. But before Kirara could take to the air again Naraku was beside her. "Time to die, demon slayer." Naraku announced as he sliced her, Kohaku, and Kirara in half with a single strike.

"Sango!" Miroku yelled. As tears streamed from his face. Everyone else was in total shock. First Bankotsu, then Shippo, now Sango and Kirara. Before Miroku could even attempt an attack on Narau Azrael flew towards him.

"Your evil end's here!" Azrael yelled as his eyes glowed with vengence.

"Don't make me laugh!" Naraku yelled as his hand began to glow. "Dragon Vortex!" Naraku yelled as he combined Azrael's Death Vortex and Sounga's Dragon Twister. The resulting attack tore at Azrael's body severly injuring him, it would have killed him if he hadn't erected a shield before hand.

"Now back to the miko's."Naraku said as he calmly walked towards the hysteric Kagome.

"Wind Scar!" Inuyasha yelled as his wind scar hit Naraku in the back. Naraku didn't even flinch as he continued walking towards Kagome. Kikyo, being of calmer mind than Kagome readied her bow in defense. "You will not kill me that easily Naraku." Kikyo threatened.

"Oh really." Naraku challenged. With a flick of his wrist a blade on energy cut off her arm! Kikyo screamed in pain as she clutched the nub of her left arm.

"Your death has already been assured." Naraku claimed as he raised his arm to attack again. Suddenly Inuyasha jumped in front of him, grabbed Kikyo and Kagome and jumped away before Naraku's attack hit the ground.

"Are you guys' okay" Inuyasha worried etched his face. Kikyo was hurt but her soul takers were attending to that, Inuyasha's only concern was Kagome.

"Their dead." Kagome weeped as he lunged at Inuyasha. Her tears covered his blood stained shirt as he held her.

"I know, but don't worry...Naraku's going to pay for that." Inuyasha assured her.

It was when Inuyasha spoke those words that tragedy once again befell them. Sesshomaru and Rin were helping Azrael and Miroku, leaving Koga and Ayame by themselves. In that instant, Naraku struck. With a quick blow he struck down both wolf demon's with one fatal sweep.

"That's it, no more death...I don't have any other choice." Azrael whispered. He reached in his jacket that he had given to Rin and protracted ten sutra's, tied and bound with a royal seal. As Sesshomaru helped him over to Inuyasha and the other's Azrael told them his plan. "Kagome, your sacred arrow has to hit Naraku's Shikon No Tama okay." Azrael instructed at the end of his plan.

"But I'm out of arrows!" Kagome exclaimed. "The only arrow left is the bent one."

"Use it, it's our only hope." Azrael assured. "Miroku, this is for Sango, don't let hate or pain cloud your mind."

"Yes...of course." Miroku finished. Everyone knew what they had to do, all that was left was to do it. Naraku watched in amusement as everyone tried to form a plan to kill him.

*There efforts are futile, nothing they can do will hurt me.* Naraku thought. Suddenly, everyone ran in different directions. Azrael shot into the air, Kikyo ran to Naraku's back, Miroku to his front, along with Kagome, Inuyasha, and Sesshomaru.

"Fools, I will send you all the hell!" Naraku exclaimed. He charged up to use his attack but before he could He felt a twinge of pain on his back as his movement became slow. "What is this?"

On Naraku's back were five sutra's glowing brightly. The sutra's were in five points like a pentagram. As Kikyo recited a spell lines began to spread from each sutra completing the pentagram on Naraku's back. Before Naraku could react Miroku did the same thing to his front.

"This is futile. These sutra's can't hold me!" Naraku said. He flexed just a little bit as the sutra's weakened even under the slightest pressure.

"There not meant to hold you. I am!" Azrael said from above Naraku. At this time Azrael had assumed his human appearance as his right hand glowed with red energy. Azrael stabbed his hand into Naraku's back as Naraku's alaramed yell gave away his surprise.

"What are you doing?" Naraku questioned. Now for some reason he couldn't move at all.

"This is known as the Shadow Puppet. It's a move that allows me to control my victim, usually I could do it from a farther range, but the logner the range the lesser the effect, so for you I had to get in close." Azrael declared as he applied more pressure. "Do it now I won't be able to hold him much longer!"

"Right." Kagome yelled as she readied her bow. Inuyasha and Sesshomaru were on either side of her, they were going to combine their Omnislash with her sacred arrow.

"It won't work, all it will result in will be your death." Naraku sneered, but even he himself wasn't sure if he would survive it.

"I don't care if I die, as long as you go with me." Azrael responded. Suddenly he felt something was wrong.

"Shit, no! Hurry with that attack!" Azrael pleaded. Naraku only sneered as he consentrated harder. "He's reversing my control...he's...he's trying to control me!"

"No, he's going to get away!" Miroku yelled. "I won't let Sango's death be in vain! Wind Tunnel!" Miroku yelled as he released his deadly wind tunnel upon Naraku and Azrael.

"Fool, you have no idea what your dealing with." Naraku said. He launched a poweful energy blast at Miroku.

"No!" Miroku yelled as he tried to seal back his wind tunnel, but before he could his wind tunnel absorbed the attack. "NOOOO!" Miroku screamed in pain as his wind tunnel grew larger, it started absorbing his arm, and suddenly in a loud eruption absorbed him!

"Miroku!" Kagome yelled.

"Kagome just do it! Don't let his death and everyone else's be in vain." Azrael instructed. *Don't let mine be in vain either.*

"Right." Kagome said snapping herself back to reality. She drew back her arrow as she held her breath. A tear rolled down her cheek as she launched it at Naraku. Inuyasha and Sesshomaru launched their Omnislash which merged with Kagome's arrow. Azrael stared at the attack in amazement of its power.

"It's over..." Azrael said as he closed his eyes as the attack neared them.
