A/N: I read my reviews and it seems that Kikyou's personality isn't in the light like it should be. I agree if I was Kagome I would chose being with Inuyasha over my reputation, but when Kikyou said that she would never live down she meant that she would never let her. Kikyou is the kind of girl who would yell something out in front of the whole cafeteria, have people paint stuff on your locker, and sense Inuyasha's family is rich she could go to the papers and tell them, the story and the next thing you know they would be running a story on how one of the sons of the richest man in town is dating a girl who's grandfather is a criminal to the government. And that would also ruin Inuyasha's father's reputation.

That's why Kagome can't just choose him, I wanted the situation to look completely hopeless and I think I did too good a job. How am I going to get them out of this one!?

As soon as Kagome stepped inside her door, it really hit her, she wouldn't be able to be with the person she loved anymore. She started sobbing again while she leaned her back against the door and finally slide down to the floor unable to hold herself up anymore. She heard her mother round the corner and run to her side.

"Kagome! What happened!? Did Inuyasha do something to you!?"

She couldn't find the words so she just shook her head.

"Then what happened?"

It took her forever to get the story out through all her crying, but by the time she done her mother was livid. Some jealous little girl was threatening her daughter and her boyfriend to stay away from each other. And she was even madder at her father for creating a way for that girl to do it! She was going to do something about this, but she had to take care of Kagome.

She gently walked her up to her room and got her into bed and assured her that this wouldn't go on any farther, but nothing made her daughter stop crying. She would only stop if she could be with Inuyasha again, but that wouldn't happen tonight with whoever it was watching her house.

This whole thing had her outraged and she walked up the stairs to the person she was going to take it out on. She charged straight into her father's room not even bothering to knock. He was sitting at his desk looking through another of the many history books he had, he looked up startled when she came into the room and the look on her face was fear-provoking.

"We need to talk in the kitchen now!"

He followed her down without a word, not even when he passed his granddaughter's room and heard her crying. She pointed at a chair and he sat. She proceeded to tell him the same story that she heard from her distraught child and when she was done the look on his face was fitting in her eyes. He looked scared, sad, and ashamed.

"Well!?"

"I didn't tell you because I didn't want you to worry, I never thought something like this would happen, much less Kagome be made to suffer from it."

"Well she is suffering and I can only imagine what that poor boy is going through! They love each other; we both know that and now they can't be together just to save this place!"

"Maybe we could talk to this Kikyou girl and make a deal."

"No, she won't make a deal she just doesn't want Inuyasha and Kagome to be together. Kagome has told me about this girl before and she sounds completely evil."

"I don't know what to do."

"Lets go to bed, we'll think about it in the morning. I'm not letting Kagome go to school tomorrow."

They went up stairs to a restless night and Kagome cried herself to sleep.

When Inuyasha got home

He went straight to his room and proceeded to destroy nearly every thing in sight. Angry tears were streaming down his face and he was none too gentle when his mother came to the door.

"Inuyasha what's going on in there!?"

"GO AWAY!!"

She jumped at the sound of her son's voice and for once she was actually scared of him. She walked back to her room crying and shaking, she wasn't so much scared for herself but for him, what if he hurt himself? What happened?

Inuyasha walked over to his nightstand and opened the dower; he pulled out the book of Kagome's poems that he collected. He couldn't bring himself to read it but he hugged it to him as he slept.
